Otomi stepped back when the guy was easily able to get through the barrier. His hands seemed to be hot...Litteraly glowing like a poker. "No! Stay back!" The water then separated and went to Otomi swirling around her. As soon as the demon took another step it shot towards him trying to push him back. The water held the force of a two ton hit. It seemed like the water was trying to to Otomi's will by keeoing him away from her and Joey. She didn't really know how to fight or use her powers so she just decided to let whatever spirit in her to guide her in this fight. She just hoped it would be enough. It was then she noticed Reina on his back so she willed the water to move away bso she wouldn't hurt her.

Soul saw Reina jump on the mans back and he looked over at the guy.He wasn't gonna let him hurt Reina.He suddenly started glowing blue without making a noise he started to glow darker and suddenly the marks on his arms turned black and Soul hit the floor still glowing a black color.The whole house started to shake and then a couple of things like vases started to float in the air.Soul still on the floor without making a noise smirked and then the knife's diamond in his pocket started to glow it quicklly floated out of his pocket and it came at the man like the speed of light.

Kano fell down to one knee. "I will take you back to Scratch and he will punish beyond your imagination." He said reaching his blade behind his head, hoping he could atleast take off part of her hand as she beat him. His other forearm changed into a chain and threw it being his back, it wrapping around Reina's neck because of the moumentum. It could very well choke her if Kano yanked on it. "Now, f*ck off!" HE yelled trying to throw her off of his back. When he saw the objects floating he could see what was happening. Kano shielded himself with Reina's body.

"!?" Her hand was cut and she froze smelling the blood. Reina's eyes started to turn blood red just like all the times before. She took the hit holding back a scream. Reina stayed in control and slid off of him onto the floor. The cut was deep on her hand. Blood spilled onto the floor. "I will take my punishment. But i won't let you hurt anyone!" Reina went to slap him. What was she thinking? Reina almost thought she had lost it.

"Ouch." Kano said sarcasticly as Reina slapped him. "Looks like someone doesn't have enough self-control." He said looking at her eyes. He swung the chain above his head, threatening anyone who got close enough. He sent the chain flying at the shark girl. He had strick orders not to kill these "elemental animals" but he could do as he wish with the others. "IF you stop struggling I won't hurt you." He promised to everyone. "You won't have to go through anymore pain." He tempted them. Kano knew Reina didn't like people getting hurt, even though she was Scratches favorite demon.

OOC: No idea where y'all are, but it's time for Kiokama to do something. Also, if Reina is Scratch's daughter she's Kiokama's sister, it's up to you if they know each other or not.

 

Sensing the danger that Otomi was in, Kiokama went into something between a rage and a panic. He sent himself hurtling high up into the air, reaching an altitude of roughly twenty thousand feet in the air. He then hurtled through the air, his holy aura gradually growing in power as he went along his way, coming to be directly above where Otomi and the others were. Positioning himself in such a way as to allow him to unleash a strike directly on the Demon from above, he gathered an orb of holy energies in his right hand, before aiming it at the ground and firing a ray of golden light down towards the Demon who would hopefully be too distracted to notice his attack. He then simply lifted his wings above himself and hurtled down towards the ground, crashing down between Otomi and Kano. The sheer power of the holy aura radiating from him now was quite likely to burn both Reina and Kano, due entirely to the fact that both of them were demons. As he landed, he had come to a kneeling position and now he rose up, drawing his claymore from it's place upon his back. One might think that his golden armor was glistening in the sun, but it was in fact producing it's own light, or rather reflecting the light that was emanating from Kiokama. As the chain flew towards Otomi, it instead impacted the armor on Kiokama's chest, deflecting off of it uselessly.

 

"Sorry I'm late in coming, I got a bit distracted from my duty for a short while."

"Reina no!" In order to save Reina she had to save the demon as well. But before she could do a single thing Reina was hit. Otomi's eyes widened as she watched on. How could she have let that happen? Why couldn't she have saved her before something like this had happened. Otomi could probably heal her but she had to get to her but with the demon still in here that didn't look like it would be happening now. "Hey! Demon guy, or whatever you are! Aren't you supposed to be focusing on me right now? I'm feeling a little left out." Otomi was hoping to turn his attention to her so that the others could be ok. Also Reina could be helped by her friend.

 

Suddenly some guy came in and attacked the demon. Otomi didn't know why but she thought she recognized his presence. It felt almost similar to when she saw Joey earlier and before she blacked out because of Reina's attack. "W-who are you?..." She didn't feel any danger from him and in fact felt completely calm and safe.

Soul stoped glowing and jumped up seeing he had hit Reina with the knife.He stopped thinking and he could hear his heart thumping.He looked at her and he fell to his knees next to her "Wh-What have i done?!"He looked at her and back at the man.He got up then looked back at the man.He stood up without making an expression on his face.He lifted his finger shaking "You...you did this..."He had alot of anger but he couldn't change his facial expresion.He finally changed his look and his voice "You Did this to her!!!"He didn't care if the man was already hurt.He wanted to see him hurt worse.

Kiokama smiled slightly as he looked over his shoulder at Otomi, winking one of his silver eyes. He then returned his attention to the Demon before him, bringing his blade around in front of him so that he could grip the hilt with both of his hands. He spread his wings out laterally, using himself as a shield for the girl. The blade began to glow with the same holy power that was emanating from Kiokama's very skin and soon it was engulfed in golden flames. He let out a quiet laugh as he recalled that he hadn't actually answered the girl's question.

 

"I am Kiokama Retsuri. I have also been called 'The Redeemed One', and I am the Arch Angel assigned to protect you."

Kano felt the energy coming at him before it hit and he could deflect it off his blade, sending it through the roof. "Sorry, but you did it. You mortally wounded your love. You better hurry or she'll bleed to death." He said laughing at Soul. He turned to the angel. "Well, well. God's sent his minion's after me. I'm touched." HE snorted at the angel. "I'm not some weak little demon like you've probably faced boy." He warned him. His weapon-arms now bursting into flames. The floor was now becoming hot. Play time was over. "The Devil's son has come back to hunt down what he once was." He said recgonizing him from his time in Hell.

Reina was trying to stop both her wounds from bleeding. Her eyes blood red. Deep inside her a voice cried out. "Father...help..." Reina knew she could last longer in her demon form but if she did transform she could hurt someone. She wasn't gong to take that chance. She started to crawl away out of harms way. What was going to happen now? She didn't like this one bit. She layed on the floor near Joey. What was going to happen to her? She thought she was going to die while trying to save her friends. Were they her friends? Reina hoped so. She forced herself to stay awake.

Kiokama simply laughed aloud as he heard the demon speak, more out of exhilaration than anything else. The same golden fire that had engulfed his sword now spread across his entire body, scorching the ground beneath his feet and imparting some of his holy energy into it as well. Truth be told, he was more than excited to fight a demon that claimed to be stronger than average. He flourished his blade in a wide arc above his head, before bringing it back down in front of him, aiming the tip at Kano.

 

"That's exactly what I was hoping for. I've introduced myself, mind telling me what your name is?"

 

He paused for just a moment to allow the Demon to respond before he made the first move. He hurled himself forward with all the strength he could muster, driving his blade forward in an attempt to skewer Kano, or at least that was what it looked like. As he brought the blade to the end of it's course, he brought it swirling around in an arc attempting to tear into the demon even if he had dodged the initial thrust.

Soul looked at him ad knew he was right.He ran over to Reina and put his hand on to her bleeding one."This might hurt...but it's worth it."He started to chant something very loud "By the power of gods might...Please show me the light...please do not let this being die...Give me the pain that has been caused by I !!!His arm started to glow lightly and then all of a sudden Reina's wound was gone and it was on soul's hand.He smiled a quickly saw a white shirt on the ground.He picked it up and tore a part of it off and wrapped it around his arm.

Kano shielded himself from the thrust with his arm, the holy power burning a hole into it, but the sword slashed across his face, cutting open his cheek. It burned horribly, due to the holyness of the angel. Afterwords Kano was engoulfed fully in flames, he transformed into his full demon form. Large horns curled out from his forehead, his face now looking more like a skull than a normal face. His skin now looked like it was covered in scales, held together with red hot lava. Lucky for Kano the demonic force worked the same way towards the angel as the angel towards him. His firey arm-blade was slashing furiously at the angel, also swing the chain hoping to hit him or protect himself in anyone else came near.

"Kiokama....Retsuri..." Otomi repeated to herself as she thougt about what he said. ....Wait...What!! A real ArchAngle sent by God to protect...Me? This can't be really happening....What exactly are we capable of if the almighty wants us protected? How can all of this actually be real...Stupid girl...How can you be asking all these questions now after everything you've seen...It's as real as your feelings for Joey. Otomi thought having a mental battke in her head. "H-hey are wlyou gonna be ok?" She asked worried when the demon's arms bursted into flames. But when she sat Kiokama take out his weapons she blinked. "Oh....never mind then..." She said quietly as she continued to watch the up coming fight.

The Demon had made one very grave mistake when he began slashing furiously at Kiokama, and that was engaging him in close combat. Each strike was met with a masterful parry that sent the blade clanging off uselessly in the direction from whence it had come. As the chain swung around towards him he pulled his left hand off the hilt of his Blade, wielding it in his right hand. This might have been difficult, except that he managed to lock his sword in against Kano's and force the two of them into a battle of strength which the two were likely evenly matched in. He felt the burn of the Demonic taint against the skin on his left hand, but his armor absorbed and neutralized much of it, preventing serious harm. He now charged a massive ball of holy energies into his left hand, so massive that his arm was quaking simply from holding it. After the few moments it took to build up the energy, he unleashed it in the form of a massive electrical pulse that was several times stronger than a lightning bolt. This pulse shot through the chain and went straight into Kano's body due to the contact. Perhaps the Demon would be able to let go before his arm was incinerated by the holy power, and perhaps he would be too distracted by their sword-lock to even notice it.

OoC:I don't think you understand, the chain IS is arm. The blade IS is arm.

 

IC:Kano tried to yank the chain out of the angel's grip, while fighting with his blade. He knew what these angels were capable of and the chain completely dissappeared in fire, the electricity in result went everywhere, like a lighting bolt. Since Kano was the closest most of it was directed to him but some went throughout the room, lessening the blow to him. Also since he was with Kiokama about half the energy went into him. He flew back, feeling his blade- arm had taken most of the damage. His shoulder and right side were sorched black. The holy energy doing long lasting damage. Kano's chain was back into his demonic arm. He raised bot his blade and arm up, pure hell fire coming from the ground under Kiokama.

Soul picked Reina up and knew it wasn't safe in that house.He looked at the angel and said "Do...Do you think you could handle this if i leave?"He wanted to get Reina out.He thought abut the knife that went after her.It was all his fault.What if she died?He thought about that for a moment then decided if she ever died he wuld transfer all his life to her.He would kill himself for her to be alive.He looked back at the angel and waited for him to speak.

Kiokama was caught off guard by the sudden burst of Hellfire. However, right as he was consumed by the blast a strange thing happened. For an instant, his angelic armor turned black and tainted, his blade twisted along it's entire length into something horrifying and corrupt. The veil of holy light around his head vanished and instead great spiraling horns sprouted from his head, twisting up into the air. His wings became dark red and bat-like, the armor becoming black and the crosses turning to pentacles. His horrifying visage was completed as a lesser crown of flames formed between his horns, revealing his former station as prince of hell. It was gone as quickly as it came, and soon he sent the hellfire flying off in all directions with an explosion of holy power from his body. He was scorched and breathing hard, but was still a very dangerous foe. He held his blade high in the air as golden bolts of lighting began to strike it, causing his blade to gradually glow brighter and brighter as it was filled with holy power. Soon it was shaking uncontrollably, as if it were having a seizure, and glowing as brightly as the sun at noon. He turned his gaze down to the injured Demon before him, a scowl on his face as he looked him in the eyes.

 

"You can leave and live, or you can stay and suffer the power I wield. Your choice."

Kano smiled as he saw the angel changed back into his once demon form. "It seems the goodie goodie angel's still got the Devil hidden inside him." Not able to look directly at the sword. He turned his face towards Reina and the other demon boy. "Let me tell you this Daughter of Satan." He said looking directly into her eyes. " 'He' isn't happy and he's coming for you. If you were any sort of decent you'd leave your so called "friends", because Scratch will torture you and kill anyone around you." He said smiling at he. "Maybe I'll get a chance at you. Now how fun would that be?" HE said laughing again. Kano kept his face turned but spoke to Kiokama. "I'll be back." He said, his voice sounding exactly like the line in the movie, Terminator. It was one of Kano's favorite lines. He dissapeared in a large burst of Hellfire, lighting up the entrie room with his own light.

Scratch laughed, "You want to know how?" Scratch tilted his head in a disturbing manner "Does it really matter? It does well..." Scratch then grabbed Lester's neck, "You ungrateful child! You were born the same way any demon was born! You are made of the evil half of a person's soul! YOU HAVE NO PAST! You were born a demon and you will die a demon and what happens when demons die!? THEY GO TO NOTHINGNESS! For that soul is not yours! When you die a new demon is created from that same soul! Your life has no meaning boy!"

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Lester slapped Scratch's hand off of his neck and then turned from him. "I see...well than I guess I'll just be getting back to work then." Lester said, turning back into Baleaze and then taking another human form, this one almost instantly and into a more familiar form. This was the man he saw himself as in the flashback he experienced on the surface. "You can call this for Matthew..." Matthew said and then disappeared in a wave of blue fire. Matthew was now on the surface, and was ready for some more action.

Reina knew that Kano was right. He was going to hurt them all. He was going to make her life misrible. Reina made up her mind. When everyone was asleep she was going to slip away back into hell and close the door. She wasn't going to come out unless she really had to. Reina didn't like leaving Soul and the others but she was going to do it. If it was going to save them then she was going to leave. A tear slid down Reina's cheek. She looked around. Her hand was healed but where the knife was wasnt.
