Swarming deck

This deck is built in "Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia" and was probably the only origianol deck in my coutries top ten until I had a lot of bad luck after my spell of good luck. Unfortnunatly I could find a record these duels durectly from my DS so I had to get a ROM for these.

So first off, here is my deck in action:

(you can use this as an oppertiunity to see how all these completly unrelated cards work together)

vs Blackwings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYRbAwJqb-w

vs Gladiator Beasts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtZ-hjtGIW8

vs Lightsworn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hdZfsn--h0

Here is a list of cards in the deck (looks like a random bunch of cards at first but I can assure you I'm using my brain as it is essentialy a deck that attempts to keep up with the metagame as opposed to being anti-meta):

Main Deck:

Tuners: 9

Couseler Lilly x3

Junk Sycron x2

Plauguespreader Zombie x1

The Fabled Cerburrel x3

Effect Monsters: 20

Quilbolt Hedgehog x2

Cyber Dragon x1

Genex Ally Reliever x2

Gilasaurus x2

Marauding Captain x3

Oracle of the Sun x2

Revival Jam x2

The Fabled Ganashia x2

The Tricky x3

Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord x1

Equip Spell Cards: 2

Autonomous activation Unit x2

Normal Spell Cards: 1

Reinforcement of the Army x1

Continuos Trap Cards: 4

Call of the haunted x1

Zoma the Spirit x3

Normal Trap Cards: 7

Ceasefire x1

Compulsory Evacuation Device x2

Magic Cylinder x1

Mirror Force x1

Starlight Road x2

Counter Trap Cards: 5

Dark Bribe x3

Divine Wraith x2

Extra Deck: 15

X1 Lightning Warrior

X1 Magical Android

X1 Goyo Guardian

X1 Brionac Dgagon of the Ice Barriar

X1 Black Rose Dragon

X1 Ally of Justice Light Gazer

X1 Ancient Fairy Dragon

X1 Ally of Justice Decisive Armor

X2 Ally of Justice Catastor

X1 Junk Archer

X1 Jurrac Velphito

X1 Naturia Barkion

X2 Stardust Dragon

I want to put "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" what should I take out?

The problem this deck has is that if I don't get my Tuners early on I could easily lose since I cannot bring out my powerful Synchro monsters which are essential to this deck. i.e. if I have a starting hand with no tuners I am at a real disadvantage because I am normaly summon at least 3 monsters on my first turn (including 1 from the extra deck).

Perhaps there are some deck searchers I missed. If so I could take out the Ceasefire because it isn't really relavent to this deck's stratergy of swarming even though it will oftern deal a lot of damage.

Another deficientcy is that all the cards in this deck are unrelated and the only way I can gain a field advantage is by swarming since many monsters lack specific support cards (this probably can't be avoided). I do have 3 Dark Bribes and the Divine Wraith plus Starlight Road but if my opponent can find a way around those they can gain the upperhand through something as simple as a Lightning Vortex even though it is unlikley since Naturia Barkion can only negate Trap Cards.

If you can solves these problems I will be forever grateful. If the card is in yugi 2010 I'll use it (the game has nearly 4000 cards [excluding alternate art cards]). Basically I would like to increase the deck's reliability.

That was not very hepful. The one common theme between the monsters is that they can all Speical Summon in some way because of the way the deck is built. I included the video links to show how this deck is not a completley random beggingers deck. Consider this: I once got a perfect hand and managed to summon 7 monsters on my first turn. I discarded The Fabled Carburrel to Special Summon (since it was discarded it got Special Summoned to my field) The Tricky. I then Special Summoned Gilasaurs. I Normal Summoned Marauding Captain to Special Summon Counselor Lilly. I then Sychronized The Fabled Carburrel with Marauding Captain and The Tricky and Synchronized Counselor Lilly with Gilasaurs for Naturia Barkion. Not even a Blackwing user could summon that fast.

What I'm trying to say, is how do I help maintain field advantage with more of the use of Spell and Trap cards instead of just reliying on me bringing out my powerful Synchros for a win; because if the Synchros leave the field I'm at a major disadvantage until I can get out another Synchro monster. Basically I want improve reliability of this deck.

Is the seperate labaling for different cards actually worse? I thought it would make it easier to understand because it's not all scrunched together. I suppose it is a matter of opinion.

This looks awesome at your eyes but take it to face a real BW or GB player and we'll see what happens.

Infernities tend to swarm faster than than this and Frogs are able to get 5 Trishulas out in a lone turn so this isn't the best actually!!

OT: Overall, pick up a real theme and make a deck around it!!

For example, Quickdraw and Hopeless decks tend to swarm pretty quickly too.

Well ok. I can't record Wi-Fi duels since I can't figure out how to directly from my DS and my ROM does not connect to Wi-Fi for some reason; but I can assure you have I have beaten Blackwings and Gladiator Beasts in the past (but only about half of them at the most), although Lightsworns seem a lot harder because the have Judgment Dragon and Honest. I also noticed the new Monarch decks use Frogs and they are very annoying. As for the Hopless deck, I've seen do many decks like it and I want to do something different to add diversity to the stale metagame because most top players just copy eachother and it gets very boring. It's like the bark at their own reflect but somehow don't get bored. :/

Just go with a QuickDraw turbo if you want to maintain speed abd swarming

If I have Quickdraw Synchron it means I can only have certain Synchro monsters. Would a Quick Draw/Skill Drain deck work? But now that you mention it it could work for quickly bringing out Junk Archer but then again what's the point of having it in the if I'm only going ot use it for 1 card. I could put Level Eater along with it to quickly bring out Junk Warrior but like I said above it's only going to be for 1 card so is it really worth it?

Also, The Fabled Cerburrel works with The Tricky, Divine Wraith and Junk Syncron so that is a logcial choice. Junk Synchron works with Quilbolt too. Plaugespreader is good but it might there be something better? The Tuner I'd most likely take out is Couselor Lilly but it does give my Synchro mosnter a temporary boost of 1000ATK at the most of a mere 500 Life Points.

Each card has it's advantages and drawbacks and there is so much to choose from. It's so frustrating but I'll probably go down the list of Tuner and have a rethink.

O_O i can't believe it works... but still' date=' it's simply bunch of random cards that SS. If you wany swarm deck in WC10, play BW or Quickdraw.dek

Like I siad in the previous post, decks like Blackwings are boring because anyone can use those. I'll just end up barking at my own reflection becuase Blackwings are so common. Quick Draw is a pissibility though. I've never seen that done before. Sounds interesting.

Ok but do you think advice will be on Yu-Gi-Oh wiki too? Well anyway, if you just give me the base for the deck I'll see what I can do with it. But essantialy that is a completely new deck as opposed to some minor tweaks to my current one.

Let me know if this works since I have not had any time to test it. Glad you're looking for something a little different. It's always good to kind of stray from the cookie cutter builds, but they do have an amazing basis for building onto.
