Premier Alexander Romanov
But when the dust cleared, Graxten and Luxul were being protected by a glowing circular force field. Graxten, Seraph of PatienceDIVINE/Divine-Beast/7/300/3300This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 3 face-up "Patience" Monsters on your side of the field. This monster is the target of all of your opponent's attacks. This monster cannot be removed from the field by your opponent's Spell, Trap, or Monster Card effects. During your End Phase, if this monster is in Attack Position, it is destroyed. "Ha!" Graxten taunted from behind her defenses. "Where Talexa is the equivalent of the Seraphs' quarterback, I'm our defensive lineman! Nothing gets past my armor or my shields!" (3300 DEF)"Now it's my turn to step things up." Luxul purred. (1300 ATK) Luxul, Seraph of ChastityDIVINE/Divine-Beast/7/1300/1700This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 3 face-up "Chastity" Monsters on your side of the field. During either player's turn, you may remove 1 Spell Card in your Deck from play to negate the activation of one of your opponent's Spell, Trap, or Monster Card effects and destroy the card. During your Draw Phase, instead of drawing a card, you may search your Deck for a Spell Card and add it to your hand. When your opponent activates a Spell Card, add 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard to your hand. During your End Phase, if you don't have a Spell Card in your hand, this card is destroyed. "Now, since you played a lovely little Spell Card, I can add Spell of Chastity - Firagone to my hand, which I will now activate." Spell of Chastity - FiragoneSpell/Quick-PlayYou can only activate this card if you control a face-up "Chastity" Monster. Destroy 1 monster on the field, then inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's ATK or DEF, whichever is lower. During the turn you activate this card, skip your Battle Phase. Luxul charged up a huge fireball in her hands, which she then launched at the possessed Keyblader, incinerating him. The fireball also hit Nero, cutting his Life Points in half. (Nero: 2000 LP)"My turn, and I will now finish you." Talexa announced from behind as she raised her blades to attack. Super Chaos Sonic
Nero sighed and deactivated his duels and dropped to his knees. "I-I-I give....you're not like any duelist I've fought before...." he said. He looked at Talexa and said,"Please...at least spare my life. I don't have any beef against you...its just those Heartless....so please let me live so I can beat the Heartless."
Premier Alexander Romanov
Someone started to clap as Talexa lowered her weapons. The man approaching Nero had short, spiky green hair, red eyes behind half-moon glasses, a goatee, and a black Organization XIII cloak. He was followed by four hooded women in matching black cloaks. The Nobody seemed to have an air of authority and command about him."Master..." Talexa murmured as she shifted back into her normal form and approached the Nobody. Graxten and Luxul did the same."So..." Lominax mused. "You're the little boys Talexa scrounged up. I might have a use for you two in my grand scheme. You see, I have a bit of a dilemma, and I would like the both of you to solve it for me. In the short term, it might lead to your unfortunate demises if you play your cards wrong, in more ways than one, but in the long run, you will help defeat the Heartless menace from spreading across this world, and possibly preventing all universes from being consumed by our common enemies." Super Chaos Sonic
Nero looked at the group of people in black hoods. He stood up and said,"W-What kind of dilemma??" He felt uneasy as he talked to this hooded man and he felt like he was having the same presence as the Heartless. Who the heck is he and why does he have such an interest in me?? he thought to himself as he slowly backed away.
Premier Alexander Romanov
Nero backed into a Berserker Nobody, who looked down at the frightened duelist."I wouldn't refuse my offer, especially since it involves the fate of not only my universe and yours, but all other universes as well." Lominax chided. "You see, I was originally from a different universe. One where there were no chidrens' trading cards that held immeasurable power or special vehicles designed for these card games. Years ago, I was a simple toymaker from a small village named Malion, enjoying the wonders of life and my new bride, Latea. We lived happily together, traveling the countryside and giving toys to children, who loved my wooden dolls, carts, horses, tops, and other types of playthings. Everything was perfect, and nothing could change the bright futures that my wife and I shared."Lominax then turned somber. "Until THEY came. First, the night before, strange blocks rained from the sky. Then, in the middle of the day, the sun went out, and monsters started to crawl from the shadows. We tried to flee, but more beasts chased us, until we were consumed by these things. I thought I was dead, but I reemerged as what I thought was human, until I felt my chest, and heard no heartbeat beneath my skin.""But my love was even worse for the wear: for while I was human-looking, she had turned into a strange creature with no face that I later learned was called a Dusk. Latea also panicked, but I managed to calm her down. She was in despair over her current form, but I reassured her that I still loved her, no matter what form she took.""I eventually started to manifest my ability to mold and shape objects around me. Like I had crafted toys for tikes, I could now make anything I wanted, except alter my love's form. So I labored for what seemed like an eternity, learning forbidden magics and sacrificing most of my powers to give myself a new ability: the power of the Divine Contract. I could now infuse someone with the power of the gods and grant them a new form. I eagerly tested it out on my beloved, only to discover the downside to my power: the subject must sign the contract instead of forcing the transformation upon them. But I remembered that much too late, and Latea had become Talexa, my first Seraph. Stripped of her memories and an inability to retain any past a few days' time, my darling had become the perfect doll. I have to feed her, dress her, and care for her every day. I use her in combat, since all of my Seraphs are infused with fighting instincts. I am still working on restoring her memories, if they can be restored, but I still love her, even though I have no idea if she loves me back.""So, I took up the name 'Lominax', recruited some more Seraphs, and found an old castle drifting in space, which I claimed. Now, I am Lord of Castle Oblivion and leader of the Nomad Fleet, a ragtag group of Nobodies and humans who are refugees from the Heartless menace. We want to find a new home free of Heartless, and are willing to destroy anything in our path to get there."
Super Chaos Sonic
"S-So you want me to join your little group??" Nero asked Lominax. He listened to what he was told and thought it sounded kinda fishy....but he knew the Heartless weren't supposed to exist here, meaning they were from another world. But he was still iffy about Lominax saying that he was from another world. What if he was working for the Heartless...and wanted to take him out? He swallowed hard and tired not to show his fear. Premier Alexander Romanov
"Not exactly. I am not done with my little story." Lominax responded. "I recently discovered an incredibly powerful Heartless that had somehow acquired sentience, and was trying to create some sort of wormhole with an enormous fleet of ships and some stolen technology from a civilization long since destroyed. I couldn't let the Heartless create this wormhole to wherever they were trying to reach, so my Nomad Fleet intervened. After an intense battle, the only remaining ships were my Oblivion, the flagship I built around my castle, and his massive fortress. But the wormhole was moments away from completion. With no time to spare, I managed to ram our ships into the incomplete wormhole, destroying the portal and sending our ships to eventually settle in orbit around your world.""But this Heartless was clever, and kidnapped 5 of my Seraphs while our guard was down, and is now holding them hostage on his fortress. He is using this leverage to force my remaining forces, myself included, to assist his own in the destruction of your world.""Now, I need you to rescue my lovely assistants from this monster's clutches so I may no longer be inclined to maintain our alliance. Do you understand?"
Super Chaos Sonic
Nero looked down at his duel disk and his deck. He looked back at Lominax and said with a sigh,"Saying if I do help you...what will happen to me after I do? And say if I decline your offer...what will happen?" He knew what would happen with the second option, but he had to be sure that his suspicions were right. That and he wanted to know what would happen if he helped Lominax. Premier Alexander Romanov
"Well, if you agree to assist me, I will do everything in my power to help you complete the Herculean task I have set before you.""And if we say no?"Desna shoved the Berserker aside, actually causing the giant Nobody to tumble over, and entered the conversation. "What if we don't want to help out you and your little sparkly angels?"Lominax pushed his glasses up. "Then I guess the current status quo will resume, with my Seraphs' powers locked away in card form like your Keyblader friends are, and I will still be the reluctant ally of our common foe." Super Chaos Sonic
Nero blinked a few times and said,"Well, apparently I won't get killed...but my brother told me I should help anyone that needed it." He looked at Lominax and the few Seraphs and sighed. "Alright...I will choose to help you out. Mainly cause..." he said as he looked at the Berserker. "Mainly cause I don't want to be crushed by that guy."
Merci
Zar was in his fortress again. Oh how he desired this world. To that end, he had forced a Nobody to his will by capturing his servants. Nobodies were like moving empty bottles, with only pure vacuum in it. If the Nobody retaliated, he would terminate him himself. The Nobody was powerful, and proved very useful. It was the worry of gaining allies of the Nobody's own to free his servants that disturbed Zar. No matter, powerful as they may be, he was supreme. The world may have survived, but Zar's forces were beginning to gain an edge with the help of the Nobody. He didn't understand the Nobody. They couldn't feel anything, yet that one was still binded to his will simply because Zar had some of his 'servants' in his grasp, literally. In his hand were a few cards. And he just looked at them intently.
Premier Alexander Romanov
"You know, we're right here." A voice replied from behind Zar.Five women were chained up on the wall behind the Heartless, all of them in black cloaks. The one that had spoken to Zar had long pink hair that dropped over her left shoulder and icy blue eyes staring angrily at him. A redhead with emerald-green eyes looked incredibly bored, while a blonde with blue eyes and glasses was muttering to herself about some sort of logic problem. The smallest, a platinum-blonde teen with pixie cut hair and deep blue eyes was humming some sort of tune, but a young woman that appeared to look like a younger version of Talexa, except with red eyes instead of gold, was just silent and watching Zar curiously."You will never get away with this, you monster!" The pink-haired woman threatened for the thousandth time. "Whether Lominax frees us himself or someone else rescues us, I promise that I will personally blow your head off!" Once again, she then realized her mistake, since Zar held their cards in his hand, and in this world, if those cards were destroyed, they would be destroyed as well. Merci
Zar was calm. All their meaningless words meant nothing. They could neither retaliate nor anything like that. A small entertainment, maybe, but entertainments were only distractions, like drugs and additives, certain drugs and additives."If any attempt of a rescue is tried, I will personally ensure to burn your cards into literal nothingness." He said calmly, but menacingly and piercingly. His yellow eyes looked like they were turning around, examining the servants of the Nobody, but it was very difficult to see it. He decided to draw his Claymore, and he did. He rose from his thrown, and then pointed the giant sword at the pink-haired woman at such a speed, it seemed like it was as light as a knife to him. It was only inches to her face, and he didn't really care. "Don't get me wrong, I will free you once your master continues to cooperate. But you won't be freed until the Heart of this world is mine." Premier Alexander Romanov
"Well, could you at least put us in a cell or something?!?" The redhead started to complain. "I've lost all feeling in my legs from hanging here on this wall like a mounted trophy!""Lexica, calm down." The glasses-wearing blonde sighed. "I know it's cramped, but we can handle it. We've been in tougher situations before. Now where was I?""F**K YOU, LILIENDAX!!!" Lexica roared. "If it wasn't for your 'brilliant' plan of ramming Zar's little fortress into the portal, we wouldn't be in this mess!!!""I agree with Lexica." The pale-blonde teen piped up. "Could we get a cell or something? And could I have my headphones and CD player back? Please?""Kalaxy, you know that's pointless." The pink-haired woman replied. "He's a Heartless. 'Comfort' isn't in his vocabulary.""I was just asking..." Kalaxy whined. "And why do you have to be so cold, Reclixa? I'm just tired of hanging on this wall, that's all..."Liliendax and Lexica were bickering while Reclixa and Kalaxy had a conversation about trying to negotiate with Zar for better imprisonment conditions. Curiously, the girl with the chocolate hair and red eyes didn't react to anything Zar, Reclixa, or the others said or did, but just watched Zar like he was some sort of TV show. Merci
Zar's Claymore just disappeared and then Zar just watched them bickering, saying nothing. If they had proper Hearts, then he would as well consume them, as he was planning to do with those blind humans who have allied with him. And then he noticed someone among them who was looking at him like he was a portrait."Do you have reason to stare?" Zar asked the nonspeaking girl. His yellow eyes flickered for a moment. He then held up his right index finger which somehow appeared menacing."All shall be consumed."
Premier Alexander Romanov
The Nobody girl just continued to watch Zar. She wasn't being threatening, nor did she show any indication that he was entertainment. In fact, it appeared that, to her, Zar was the most interesting thing there. She didn't even respond to his finger or his threat, but just watched him like someone attending a play or a movie watches what's going on onstage or on the screen. Merci
Zar decided that it was pointless. It was like the story of two men who was given a choice between a portable TV and a stick, they were given immortality for one year and were going to be locked in a room for one year, and had to retain their sanity. The man who chose the TV went insane after five months, while the other, the one who chose the stick, continued to stay sane, and stayed sane until the deadline. The complete story was difficult, but he knew that was the overall story. He decided that to her, he was the stick, while those other people were the portable TV. He put down his finger and then layed his hands on both sides of his throne. His yellow eyes then disappeared, and didn't reappear. He might be sleeping. Alexander Kyrby
Considering that his leader had completed his initial aim, he began pacing around, trying to find another "duelist" to rid the world of. Suddenly, as he was passing a building, he stopped in his track. He had felt a pulse in all the marks on his back. Every single individual shadow-crafted line, a small pulse ran through them all. Deciding that it was better to take action now, he booted the door down and glared in awe at his find. The world's heart was in this very building. However, being only a mortal, he could not do anything with it, even if he knew what. All he knew was how to dispose of enemies. Henceforth, he took it on himself to guard it until someone who did know what they were doing showed up.
Premier Alexander Romanov
The other captive Seraphs eventually retired as well, going to sleep, but the fifth Seraph continued to observe the possibly-sleeping Heartless. She then looked up at her cuffs, and wriggled around with them. Realizing that she couldn't just escape from the cuffs, she twisted her hands enopugh so that a loud cracking sound resonated through the chamber. The Seraph didn't even blink or flinch when she violently dislocated her own wrists, or regard what she had just done at all. Now with her wrists able to contort themselves through the cuffs, she easily slipped out and landed on the floor a foot below. She muttered "Cure" as her wrists mended themselves, then walked up to Zar, and cuddled up with him. She whispered "Your heart...it's so beautiful..." before falling asleep next to her captor. Merci
Zar wasn't exactly asleep. But he wasn't really awake, either. It was very difficult to explain his half-sleep-but-not-half-sleep thing. But even so, he was little aware of the outside world. Those servants would remain captured, and he wasn't exactly planning to return them to Lominax anyway. In the end, when he gets what he wants, he's going to get rid of them all. He was inside his mind, his Heart so busy trying to replace his missing Body and Soul, but he was still being, and that was what counted. He felt as if in the real world, something had interacted with his body, but it may have been the wind. After all, the fortress is in the sky, hidden by low clouds. Super Chaos Sonic
Nero, still talking with Lominax, walked up to him and asked,"Alright I'll help you, just tell me what I need to do to bring your Seraphs out of captivity." He knew that this was going to be a harder mission than the Heartless killing plan he had, but he wanted to at least help Lominax with his problem...that way he won't ever see him again. Premier Alexander Romanov
Desna countered. "Nuh uh. Just like the West High Wildcats, we're all in this together. The only difference is that some of us don't want to be here.""You know what?" Lominax grinned. "I like your style.""Thanks. So, what exactly do we have to do?""The objective is very simple. You have to infiltrate Zar's flying fortress, sneak past all of his guards, find the Seraphs, then use this."Lominax handed Desna a card wrapped in silver booster pack foil that had a white Nobody symbol on it."Use this only once you have all of the Seraphs. It will only work one time, and one time only."
