The Story

The worlds of Duel Spirits and New Domino City have been under siege by Heartless for quite some time now. The people are fighting back, but the Heartless were led by a leader, Zar. Zar was a Heartless who was able to retain his self. He proceeded to learn how to play Duel Monsters, and then switched the Heartless style to a Duel Monsters Style format.

The Heartless are overtaking New Domino City. Can the residents hold them back? Or will the Heartless take over?

And we start!

Zar was sitting in his floating throne, floating across the dark night of New Domino City, searching for Duelists. It had taken a while to learn this 'Duel Monsters' game. Now all that is left is to bring destruction. Pure destruction. There was nothing more than that. That was all he aimed for. To that end, he had made a deal with a Nobody.

"All shall be consumed." He muttered, his yellow eyes widening.

Charn lept from the top of a building to another. He had senced the presence of a powerful duelist, and it was his job to find him. Or, possibly, her. He couldn't tell. All he knew was that he was closing in on his destination and that his ancient deck was geting wrestless. He found it hard to belive that this inferior race had made a city this big.He reported in to his master through one of his implants. "O mighty Zar," he said. He hated that part, but it had to be said. "I have located a powerful duelist. Should I go in for the kill, or wait until one of my colegues is here?" Hew squated on the corner of a biulding, waiting for his reply...

"Vampire Genesis, attack." Alex delivered the coup de grace to hit target. He didn't bother with the detail, but he knew that he had rid the world of another "Duelist". The filthy scum that killed his sister.... he knew he couldn't bring her back, but he could make them all feel the pain that he went through... He walked straight past the corpse, thinking that someone lower down the Heartless hierarchy would get it. He just wanted to get rid of them all. And so he marched on through the city, looking for a Duelist all the while.

A young boy name Nero Hatake, around the age of 16 ran down the streets of New Domino. His brown spiky hair was covered by his white and black hoodie. On his left arm was a Duel Disk and on the side to his right, a deck box. He ran down the streets and tried to find a decent shelter. He stopped and hid in an alley as a few Heartless walked by. He let out a sigh of relief as he said,"Good, they didn't spot me."

Charn suddenly looked down from his perch on the sky-scraper. There was a duelist standing there. The ignoramic heartless "peons" hadn't spoted him. But he had. He looked right down on the boy's spikey hair, and thought about giving him a tast of destructive power of the ancients, but then simply jumped to the opposing biulding, his tattered black cloak disorenentating his silhouette. Zar hadn't replied to his message. The boy could wait, he reasoned. But, he made a note to follow him.

Nero removed his hood off his brown spiky hair and ran his fingers through his hair. He sat down on a crate and said,"Heartless..heartless...heartless...this whole thing is like a video game. You beat one and another one appears. There is no end to them." He took his deck out of its case and looked at his deck. He sighed and said,"The only way I'm winning those duels...is because of my "Birth by Sleep" deck. If I didn't have it...I'd pretty much be long gone."

"Do whatever pleases you." Zar said. The voice echoed. It was very difficult to read Zar. One might never know what he thinks. But in fact, there were only four words he was thinking in his mind.

All shall be consumed.

His yellow eyes disappeared for a moment as if Zar blinked, and then they reappeared. He floated away elsewhere. He hungered for this world's Heart.

Alex suddenly stopped in his tracks. He heard breathing coming from behind a door oh his left. He tried the handle-locked. Feeling slightly annoyed, he primed his blade-like disk, and made a powerful swing that cut deeply into the wooden barricade. With the momentum he had built up, he spun round and booted the door open. He walked it to see a blonde-haired woman, around 20, backed up in a corner out of fear.

Nero stood up from the crate he was sitting on and placed his deck back in its deck box. He put his hood back on his head and said,"Well, better go find somewhere to make my HQ." He ran out of the alley and ran down the street. He noticed some Heartless on walking on his right side and he stopped. He turned around and ran away the other way and hid in another alley. "Dang it...I can't go one mile back or forth without Heartless walking down the street." he said with a sigh.

Daisuke walked through town, his deck box at his waist and his duel disk on his arm. He skirted into alleys and behind structures as Heartless walked through the town, avoiding the pawns. Blasted Heartless, walking around town like they own the place. I could defeat them all, but nothing will be gained unless someone higher up falls.

Hey kid, stop sneaking around and do something, this is boring!

Yeah boss, something exciting!

He must be patient, he can't go around challenging every heartless he sees.

Daisuke turned around to see his duel spirits, three Raging Flame Sprites, floating behind him. Like I said, unless someone important shows up, I'm going to stand by. If I defeat one, more will only show up. Daisuke poked his head from the alley, looking around. I wish I knew where to start, though.

"ZONE F**KING DAMMIT!!! WHY WON'T YOU LITTLE F**KERS JUST GO AND F**KING DIE?!?!?"

Around the corner, some guy with pale-blonde hair, red eyes, and a black and red trenchcoat was trying to subdue some Shadows with what appeared to be a gun that fired flaming chainsaws, but to no avail.

"I've tried the SMGs! I've tried the chainguns! I've tried the plasma cannons! I've tried the railguns! I've tried the gravity guns! I've even tried the weasel chuckers! But none of them WILL EVEN PUT A DENT IN THESE B*****DS!!! WHY WON'T MY F**KING WEAPONS F**KING HURT THESE F**KERS?!?!?"

Zar noticed someone who was relentlessly attacking a Shadow with nothing more than....a gun that fired flaming chainsaws. He jumped off his chair and landed on the ground, completely unscathed. His yellow eyes widened before disappearing, and then reappearing, like he blinked.

"Try Duel Monsters. Or maybe, I should just consume you myself." He said, completely emotionless. Or maybe not, but his completely pitch-black face covered whatever expression he might have.

Desna thought about it for a moment, and then withdrew a Duel Disk from his trenchcoat. He drew 5 cards from his Deck...then threw them at the Shadows kunai-style. The cards merely passed through the Heartless.

"AAARGH!!! WHY WON'T YOU F**KING DIE?!?!?" Desna screamed as he punched a Shadow, which dissolved upon being launched into the air. Desna and the other Shadows paused at this sudden turn of events, at which point Desna punted a nearby Shadow into another, dissolving both of them. He promptly proceeded to beat the living sh*t out of the Heartless until only he and Zar were left.

Meanwhile, high above the alley, a nearby figure in a black cloak mused at the proceedings. "Hmm...his heart is so powerful, so full of life and energy, that he can defeat the Heartless through sheer force of will. But, it appears to be strong enough that even the most elite among the Heartless would have difficulty removing it. He will be an interesting match against Zar."

Zar's eyes only continued to watch, his expression to this unknown. He unsheathed his gigantic Claymore out of nowhere. It also functions as a giant Duel Disk or something like that but there were times when he really did have to fight with it in this World. It was similar to Saïx's, only it was entirely black and gray. His yellow eyes widened, disappeared, and then reappeared, they being the only hint to his expression.

Daisuke left the alley and continued on his way when he heard a voice.

"AAARGH!!! WHY WON'T YOU F**KING DIE?!?!?"

Daisuke heard it from behind him back through the alley, so he quickly turned around and dashed through the alley, coming upon a man with pale-blonde air wearing a black and red trenchoat and some dissolving Shadows. Then he noticed a black figure wielding a large claymore. "A heartless!" He activated his duel disk, prepared for the worst.

Ignus was walking through the city rather carelessly, he had summoned Flair Gunman which attacks all monsters his opponent controls so in this case it was going to town on the heartless, and for some reason the heartless were actually destroyed by it, at the same time he simply traveled the town looking for anyone. It was at this time that he felt an odd presence, one that felt familiar, though nothing had felt familiar before so he decided to investigate it.

'Hmm, this seems good.' thought Charn. Zar's message came through loud and clear. He simmply did a short topple over the edge of the biulding and landed like a cat on the ground. He then heard the proceding of swearing and chain saws on fire. He then scaled the biulding and went to the other edge, before letting slip a small smile. "Hmm...his heart is so powerful, so full of life and energy, that he can defeat the Heartless through sheer force of will. But, it appears to be strong enough that even the most elite among the Heartless would have difficulty removing it. He will be an interesting match against Zar." He then realised that his pray was gone. "Damn." he said. He then pulled forth his dule disk and played a card. A small globual sphere came out of thin air. A long tail made of blue energy trailed after the metalic drone. It hade a series of patterns on it showing the different armour and where it all was. "Find the enemy with brown spiky hair." He commanded. The drone zoomed off.

"Genesis, attack." And another one bit the dust. He simply left the body there, and got on with his job. His stroll was interupted by the sounds of an angry yet somewhat desperate man's ranting about death along the lines of "WHY WON'T YOU - DIE! The fourth word was interupted by a far too convenient scream. Upon heariln this, Alex dashed to the location to see his leader and some other person standing each other off.

Nero walked out of the alley and then ran down the street again. He saw a few Heartless running after him. "Dang it! They found me." he said running faster. He ran down another alley, but it was a dead end. He saw the Heartless surround him and he just simply smirked. He activated his duel disk and inserted his deck in it. He then drew one card and said,"Keyblade Apprentice - Terra, come forth!"
184273y.jpg

As he summoned this monster, a man with brown hair and a weapon known as a Keyblade appeared in front of the Heartless. "Do your thing, Terra." Nero said smirking. As he did this, Terra used his Keyblade to slash the Heartless away, and one by one they disappeared. Terra then disappeared and Nero deactivated his duel disk and put his deck away. "Perfect. Thats another set of Heartless eliminated." Nero said with a smile.

But as Terra completed his attack, something appeared in front of the duo. It appeared to be a beautiful woman with long, wild, chocolate-colored hair, flawless tan skin, golden eyes, and a black cloak. Several Dusks also appeared along with her.

"Hello. My name is Talexa, the Seraph of Temperance." The woman announced in a very flat, almost emotionless tone as she revealed that she had a Nobody-themed Duel Disk. "And my master ordered me to eliminate you."

Meanwhile, Desna smirked as he charged at Zar. He pulled his right fist back, ready to uppercut the humanoid Heartless as he raised his left arm to block the creature's blade.

Nero saw the girl and said,"Talexa..eh? Well if its a duel you want.." He then activated his duel disk again and inserted his deck into it. He looked straight at the girl and said,"Then its a duel you'll get." He drew five cards and said,"Since your a lady...I guess I'll let you make the first move." He looked at his hand and smiled. A pretty decent hand...now to wait to see this girls move he thought to himself.

Talexa drew her cards without even looking at them, her eyes locked on Nero.

Nero drew his next card and said,"Alright then." He looked through his hand said,"I'll start off my turn with this. I activate the Spell known as The Arrival of King Mickey! Now I can search through my deck and add one King Mickey to my hand." He searched through his deck and then took one card out of it and added it to his hand. "Then I summon up Keyblade Apprentice - Aqua in an Attack mode! After that I'll place one card face-down and end my turn." he said.

Talexa's Temperance of Company flashed, and Nero drew a card. "I am impressed. You managed to stay away from temptation. But I activate Appropriate, allowing me to draw 2 cards every time you draw a card outside of your Draw Phase."

Talexa drew 2 cards, then drew a third.

"Now that it is my Standby Phase, my Temperance of Company destroyed, allowing me to Special Summon Temperance of Hostility."

Suddenly, the man standing off his leader drew his arm back. Something clicked in Alex's mind, as he had been in far too many street fights to see the next move. Thinking on reflex, he charged forwards and gave a full-bodied spin tackle, forcing him to skid two meters, but his target was neatly on the floor. There were large skid marks where he had rammed his hand into the floor to slow himself down. There was a sudden pain in said arm, and clenching it, he muttered "Damn mortal body..." Another risky tackle like that could keep him down for a while.
