DARKPLANT RISING
Once, I forgot to read Deltora Shadowlands before Dragons of Deltora, and I was like "WTF Are these people". When Deltora Shadowlands is the sequel to Deltora Quest, and Dragons of Deltora comes last.

General Smiley
With the inheritance trilogy, (Eragon, eldest, etc.) I read the first two books, then thought, only one more to go! Then I heard that he was making a fourth book, even though it was supposed to be a trilogy. Then, I found out that the third book was even longer than the second, and the fourth was even longer. the second had had 720 or so pages. the next one had almost 800, and the 4th is going to have way more. Apparently, the fourth book was supposed to be like the second half of the third one, which would mean that if he hadn't made it into 2 seperate parts, the third book would have had about 1500 pages. Long books.
