I didn't want to play this card, but lightmaster's contest is not valid at all. Sorry, but it has to have an end date, according to the official rules of 1-on-1 contests. Since it didn't, the contest was not valid, and unless he posts an end date for them, neither are the other 1-on-1 contests he made.

Not exactly. 1 v 1 contests aren't the same. I know it's in the rules but I've seen mods vote in 1 v 1 contests with no end dates.

Just go to the link, and look at section 2, rules 1 and 2. They both state very clearly that you must put an end date, no matter who you are. If you are huntar yourself, you still have to put one. If other people aren't putting end dates, it just means that the rules probably aren't being followed completely. It says 1-on-1 rules. It is the official rules for threads like this. So, it wasn't a valid contest, and unless light master changes them, neither are the other 1-on-1 contests he made for the battle royal.

It says 1vs.1 contests. That's like saying eating food is different than eating food. That is how it works. 1vs.1 is the same as 1vs.1. It is rules for 1vs.1, so it is also the rules for this 1vs.1, which just happens to be a 1vs.1. I just proved you wrong. I am right, deal with it.

Fine then guys. You are right, and all mods are wrong in making those rules. Besides, check josh icy's rules about consolation prizes. A consolation prize is where you give points to a loser of a 1vs.1. That is not allowed, unless, as stated in the rules, you do it out of the goodness of your heart. If you actually state in the contest, like lightmaster did, that you will give a prize to the loser, the contest is again breaking a rule. The rule states that if you do it in quiet, it is okay. But if you state it in the contest, it is against the rules. Lightmaster did say that he would give a rep to the loser as well, so he broke a rule in this contest. Two rules broken, and this contest is invalid.

he probably ddnt know you cant. Aquamaster reminded alot of us a couple days ago abt that rule. simple fix, get rid of the consolation prize. i think the loser should well...lose.

Yes, but now we have mentioned it, I can post what lightmaster said before he can edit it, and then it will be proven that he did indeed state it. Then, I just wouldn't delete my post, so the mods could see it, have proof that a rule was broken, and lock the thread. So, if you guys don't quit quarreling, I will post that, I will report it to a mod, and this will get banned. Lightmaster will decide the winner. Quit arguing!

Light master made this contest invalid, and if he fixes both the reasons they are, one is what tyler just said, and two is bcuz you must state the rules clearly, he said nothing about having to state the OCG errors, but you do have to, so in other words, if he tried to fix the "you must state the rules clearly" rule, then I wouldve already won. Either way, either the contest is invalid and nobody wins and we have to restart, or the contest is valid and I win. Let's just see. I hope we just restart and get a completely new subject.
