What form of movie do you like/how often do you buy movies?

I'm a bit of a movie buff and I spend about 100$ a month on movies alone. I'm just wondering about other people...

My dad would always buy a ton of DVDs every week. Like, about 4-7 on average. Now he gets Blu-Ray. I personally rarely buy DVDs. I say about 1 or 2 a year.

when i do their romantic what nots, and or horror films

why watch someone else live the life you want to live

occasionally we get a movie, and usaully we get a few at a time. like, for christmas we bought Pirates 3, Harry Potter 5, and something else...

 

we just get DVDs

I bought ten movies just today. Went on a bit of a spree. I only went to the store to buy tape, and I ended up spending 250 dollars. xD

Really? I rent something every week (at the place I go to it costs 2 bucks for a week) and then I also buy things I've seen and enjoyed.

I do not understand the poll, so I'll say I buy movies whenever I see fit.

 

My family also does online video renting, which is cool, plently of variety (They send DVDs, whilst usually poor but playable quality in the mail, you just request them).

I'd say "DVD - once every 3 or more months". I really see movies even with new DVDs. Like last year I think or saw less than 10.

An obvious, but very good point. For me, money is a little hard to come by, so I really only spend it on what I really, really want. Usually something I'll be using months after I buy it.

I never buy DVDs, but my Mum/Dad rent a bunch of DVD movies about once every 3 months...

The normal TV channels are way better though...
