~Card Chaos Academy~ (Chapter One Up) (STORY THREAD)

This is a Fan Fic (obviously) that's about a Dueling Academy (not Duelist Academy) called Duel Monsters Advanced Academy and this academy is different than most academys in which they put there students in difficult positions and the students learn from experence and each other.

Chapter 1: Congradulations!

 

"I'll then tribute my face down to summon "Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch" and with it's effect I'll discard the card on the far left of your hand," Shancus smiled at his sudden turn of luck.

Kaworu returned the grin and showed Shancus "Bottomless Trap Hole". "Sorry dude, it's not a monster," he said. Shancus always seemed to make him a little more social.

Shancus's head dropped to the wooden picnic tables at there school's playground. He ran his hands through his hair, ripping a few out every so often. He looked up with anger in his eyes, "Then I'll attack you," he yells, "I'll attack your facedown," He laughs menacefully.

Kaworu flips over his spell card. "Mirror Force," he says.

Shancus is stunned speechless, "Howwtha... Wha... Bu-bu-but.."

"Now since your defenseless and have nothing more to do, I'll tribute my facedown," Kaworu places "Honest" in his graveyard, "To summon "Jinzo". Now I'll attack your 1900 life points directly with my newly found monster and end the game,"

"Wait, how do you do that, pull every card at the right time?" Shancus asks while searching through his pockets.

"Just luck," Kaworu responses cooly while picking up his deck, "Now, do you have the money this time?"

"Yeah, yeah," Shancus pulls a five-dollar bill out of his pocket and throws in on the table.

The bells rings.

"Thanks, now let's get inside," Kaworu turns for the door.

"Ok, but I want a rematch," Shancus scrambles to clean up his things.

"Great, more money for me," Kaworu laughs as he walks inside Southwestern High.

Math was as it usually was, eleven students sleeping while some old nut talked to himself. The classes where small because the end of the year was approaching and soon all the students would go to specialized academies to learn for their most qualified careers that they could have. Usually the later in the year you went, the crappier the job was, which was no surprize for Shancus and Kaworu. Shancus had a bad temper and was in fight-to-the-death mode in even the smallest of competitions. Kaworu was like the complete opposite, he's the shyest 15-year old, but there was and has a friendly attitude if you get past the shyness. The only reason they're friends is Yu-Gi-Oh, and there both good at it. And because of this their lives are about to change for the better.

A knock comes from the door, which creaks open a second later. A woman dressed in all white chirps into the room, "May I see Shancus Black and Kaworu Shikinami?"

They sit up straight to impress the lady in white, the only reason someone needs to see a student is for the specialized academies and they're in the same one. The teacher motions for them to get out and they quickly dart out to the hallway.

"Now if you would follow me to one of the school's board rooms I'll explain your... predicament," she picks the last word carefully.

Five minutes later their in a empty board room except for the lady in white who has papers spread all over the main table.

"Now you two," she begins, "I have looked at both of your records. Neither of you have any acheivements or notice-able skills except for one you both have."

"So do we have a academy that'll take us or what," Shancus asks impatiently.

She scowls at him for a breif moment, then continues, "There is only one academy that'll take you and I am please to say that you would actually be close to top of the class. Boys, you are both offically enrolled in Duel Monsters Advanced Academy,"

"So we are going to a school that specializes in Duel Monsters?" Kaworu asks slowly and clearly.

"Yes, I'm going to drive you to the docks now so you can board the ferry to Duel Island to start your training. I've already informed your parents, Shancus and your adopters, Kaworu. All you need is your decks and the academy will provide the rest," she chirped excitedly, "Congradulations!"
