YCM auction section!

Recommended Posts

I was looking over the games section and saw the YCM lottery, and I thought that was pretty cool. I was trying to think of my own thing like that where you can spend points to get something that's not in most shops. I thought about having an auction sub-section under shops. There we can auction off whatever we want from simple cards with cool backgrounds to awesome booster templates and holo sheets. Please comment, for I thought this was a great idea. I dont see whynot. Also, I'd like to add on. Let's say someone offers 500 points for a booster, and nobody offers within the next 24 hours. That would be the winner. But the creator of the auction gets to say the starting price. Let's say one of the awesome splicers on YCM such as jappio wants to auction off their splice to some lucky person so they can put it in their sig, as their avi, or do whatever they want with it and they get full credit for it. Jappio says that the starting price is... 200. Then, someone must pay more than 200 points if they want to win. But if you bid like 201, then you're probably not gonna win unless you bid higher, bcuz someone else might come along and bid 250 or something like that. Nobody wants to pay more than 250 for a simple card or bad holo sheet, so if nobody else bids within the next 24 hours, then the last person to bid is now the proud owner of jappio's splice and gets full credit for it. I spent lots of time on this idea, so please support it. :D

Shops may be cheaper, but yes, this is a funner way, and also, you can sell things at an auction that you can't sell in shops such as templates, and holo sheets. Thanks for replying though.

also, I was thinking about it. Let's say a master gfxer creates an awesome booster pack that they love. It's not like they're gonna keep it or anything, and they cant just go and sell it in a shop, and they wouldnt throw away such an amazing piece of work. So they can auction it off at an auction for a high starting price and make tons of money.

No support.

Drawn items from auctions can get random and no one would participate on such a specific item. And, they would get more expensive and when paid, all money would go the the holder which is unfair. There are requests and a shop section. This was a stupid idea I'm afraid, so sorry though.

Lol. This thing needs some support. It's true that you can use a request, but if you do that, you can't guarentee that it will look good. With this, you get to decide whether or not you like it b4 you buy it. And in a shop, I'll say this again, you're not allowed to make a splice just out of random and sell it to a random person, you can only sell things they ask for.

It's fun not only for the seller, but the buyer bcuz they can get better things than they can from shops. And for request, you dont get to see what you want until it's done. That's the problem with requests. With this, you can decide whether or not you like it b4 you buy it.

You mean they declare a thing to do and whoever gains it gets it? Stil sticking to shops and requests.

Lol. This thing needs some support.

Why? More people are disagreeing. Democracy.

It's true that you can use a request' date=' but if you do that, you can't guarentee that it will look good.

[i']Solution: don't take it. Same with auctions.[/i]

With this, you get to decide whether or not you like it b4 you buy it.

Same solution here.

And in a shop, I'll say this again, you're not allowed to make a splice just out of random and sell it to a random person, you can only sell things they ask for.

That's the reason they're good.

In short, this suggestion has no meaning or logic and I am giving this no support.

I dont know how to respond to that. Also, this site isnt just for children. There are several adults that play yugioh and have an account on YCM. Also, there's no such thing as a forum that's not for children. Facebook, Myspace, YCM, even a website 17 year old brother made. I'm not talkin about tyler924.
