Here's the fumy thing, I've not played it. I wanted other people's opinion before I (might) buy the game. Is it fun?

Actually, I'm currently playing FFVII right now, and afterwards I'm going to play FFVIII.

Cause I hear some people say they're boring and some say they're fun.

FFVII is too easy, I'll give you that. No offense, but I found myself mashing the circle button over and over because battles can be won with just regular attacks.

But then again, I didn't finish the game, so the difficulty might get better after the first few hours.

FF7 is easy at the beginning because you don't have any experience yet. Later in the game, the storyline gets very convoluted, and the gameplay very complex. Such a great game.

Well, personally, I think the Materia system killed it. Any character could equip any Materia (unless there's some exceptions later on) and assume any role, so making parties is really easy. Really the only limit to customization was how much Materia a character's weapon could hold.

Limit Breaks were cool tho.

Barthandelous is one of the most annoying bosses for me. Still stuck on him and I've had the game since it came out. I really like it though. Makes me want to play the other FF games.
