Every planet destined for intelligent life has an entity meant to protect it, a first guardian. A first guardian's job is to facilitate the planet's ultimate purpose. A first guardian is typically almost as old as the planet itself, if not older, and each has a unique origin through the knots of paradox space. They can be born into a great diversity of forms, though they all share a common, potent genetic sequence. The code grants them near omnipotence, almost omniscience.

 

Eventually though, the first guardian requires an assistant. A mind equal to him. To share his thoughts, his intentions, his goals. Someone to perform little tasks a being of great power is too busy to perform. A companion, a sidekick, a brother.

 

Yet such a being cannot simply be created. It has to be decided.

 

So Earth's first guardian has decided that the only way to decide on a second guardian is to hold a tournament, a game if you will. Spreading fragments of his own, uncontaminated power across Earth, he has created two teams. Whoever comes across these fragments, ether black or white, gains power befitting some sort of mythical hero. Of course, the pure power does not retain it's previous near omnipotence. Once obtained by a human, it becomes stained by the finder's soul. Becoming unique to it's owner.

 

As the teams are formed, they are soon informed of their new found powers, and why they have obtained them. With the rules laid out, and the goal of the game clear, the game is afoot.

Age: 16

 

Appearance: He has blond hair which is complemented with ochre eyes. His natural height is 6' 0", with black shoes that increase his height by 1". He wears a white, sleeveless undershirt which is covered with a plain black shirt. He wears an obnoxiously long trench coat which drags a bit. He wears tight blue pants that are in the verge of being ripped.

 

Personality: He's extremely impatient yet hot-blooded. He can't resist a good fight, yet can sense if he's going to lose. He hates being kept from fights, especially gang fights and team fights. Though he likes the rush of battle, he's squeamish and can't accept the sight of blood. He hates corpses, so he's forced to keep a dying enemy alive.

Name: Hachiro Murikami

 

Age: 17

 

Appearance: 5' 7", light frame, pale skin. Hachiro has turquiose hair that grow down onto his shoulders. His dark green eyes are dreamy and full of creativity. His usual outfit is very...distinct...to say the least. He wears a normal white T-shirt and jeans, but he also wears a bright blue poncho with patterns in white and a blue beret with a large white feather in it. This strange outfit always draws attention, which Hachiro doesn't mind at all.

 

Personality: Hachiro is a very strange person. He is a poet at heart, but he enjoys all other styles of art as well. He is dreamy almost all the time, sometimes going off on tangents by himself, even when he was part of a conversation. He refers to his muse as a person and is prone to mood swings that depend on whether his muse is present or not. When he is in a slump, he has an almost schizophrenic change in personality, becoming cold, pragmatic and vicious. Hachiro fears this side of himself, so he does whatever he can to make sure he has a muse or inspiration, which is one of the main reasons for wearing very strange clothing.

Name: Maisy Risaman

 

Age: 19

 

Appearance: Maisy is 5'5", and has a slender frame. Her natural hair colour is brown, although it is so dark it could easily be considered black. She likes to tie her hair in a high ponytail, and even in this style, her hair almost reaches her hips. Her eyes are like slits, but it is still possible to see she has sapphire blue eyes. Her cheeks are quite hollow, and they are made even more so by her prominent cheekbones. Maisy often wears a halterneck, mottled white and purple knee-length dress with a narrow white and gold studded belt clasped loosely around her waist. On her lower half, she wears a pair of shiny black leggings, and depending on the weather, either a pair of shin-high black suede boots or black stiletto. Both her shoes have 5-inch heels with 3 inches at the front.

 

Personality: Maisy is a highly dilligent girl, which actually looks unlikely, given how she'd choose a whole afternoon of shopping over working and earning money. However, she is dilligent in the sense that she hates being left in the dark, and she will use any method required to seek what she wants to know. It is hardly unsurprising, therefore, that she keeps in touch with her friends to try and squeeze out as much gossip as possible. Her physical abilities are also quite interesting, as she can stand and walk all afternoon without sitting down once, and running speedily in them is second nature to her. She has an allergy to grapes.

Personality: He's highly intelligent, but not at all focused. He'd rather sleep than do anything else. He's disinclined to fighting, but is a skilled fighter whenever he needs to be. He's very caring and protective, which is why he has a trained bird. He favors Nintendo, and can kick your butt at a game of Mario Kart. He has trained himself to be immune to snake venom by repeatedly getting bit by snakes. He was once lactose intolerant, but he outgrew it the same way.

Age: 16

 

Appearance: He's 5' 7" tall, and has loose, wavy brown hair that reaches a little past his shoulders. His eyes are hazel, though most people say they're gray, and they feel a little deep when stared into. He wears a dark gray, long-sleeve shirt with an M.C. Escher-style shrinking mosaic pattern on it. Over this is a plain beige vest that he likes to wear unzipped. He also wears black nylon pants, with black sneakers below those. On his right index finger is a gold alloy ring decorated with a pair of fire opals and a pair of lapis lazuli.

 

Personality: His family, until about a hundred and fifty years ago, was very wealthy. There are still signs of this in the modern world, such as his ring, which is an heirloom. However, he doesn't care that his ancestors were rich; he just likes to fit into society and have fun. He's an avid Nintendo fan, but mostly sticks to single-player. He doesn't like his full name, preferring to be called "Lett". He has a vivid imagination, but tries to remain realistic. He can't stand losing, unless he feels like he's having a challenge, or walks into the competition knowing he'll lose. He also has light bipolar disorder, causing his moods to be in unchangeable ups and downs.

Age: 20

Appearance:

A male of 6' 1", he doesn't have the muscularity most people have, making him weak and frail. He wears a magical kind of robe, a bit oversized. His robe, being purple, complements the blue hair he has, which has been dyed. His eyes are green contacts, from having horrible eyesight. He carries around a walking stick, to help him walk around being frail.

Personality:

Although weak, he tries to workout as much as possible, with interest, while reading at the same time. Most people don't do that, but since he has a keen interest to reading, he reads almost all the time, carrying a book wherever he goes, books only about Natural Sciences, Cognitive Sciences, Formal Sciences, Social Sciences, Applied Sciences, Magic of different kinds. Since he wants to be strong, and not be weak, he works out. He also likes strawberries and lemons, usually bringing a canister filled with Strawberry Lemonade. He also likes animals of all kinds, having a house full of different kinds. He dislikes chocolate and other unhealthy sweet things, as it contributes to weakness to him. He despises high screechy noises that damage the ears. His final dislike however, is the not being able to take what he wants, like a book or something to drink, or his walking stick.

 

I can change whatever needs to be changed if needed.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention. My character is a recreational drug user. It's good for inspiration and all that.
