[spoiler=Plot]Around the planet, there are 8 people who bear what many call an Astrum Symbol. The symbol gives the bearer an ability to control an element, the element being what the ancient word in the symbol says. There is one for Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Darkness, Time and Life. Each bearer also has a crystal matching their element. The crystals together give off the power of Fate. If one were to have all of the crystals, they would be destroyed, as the power of Fate would be too strong for a normal being's body. That is, unless you're a Symbol Bearer.

 

The Bearer of the Time Symbol, Tempus, believed that the Fate of the Universe is destroyed, and that the only way to save it is to use the power of Fate. Following his beliefs, he went to each Symbol Bearer, excluding himself, killing them for their crystals. After 5 of the 8 Bearers were dead, the Bearer of the Life Symbol, Spiritus, decided to make a stand and try to stop Tempus. The Light Symbol bearer, Luminis, sacrificed herself in order for Spiritus to get her crystal before Tempus could.

 

Eventually Spiritus got into a battle with Tempus, but couldn't even damage him. Tempus then decided to send Spiritus to a Time Dimension, preventing him from escaping or dieing, that way he can't be reincarnated, and try to stop him again. Tempus then went into the future, because "nobody will remember Spiritus there and they wouldn't try to save him". But, before Tempus left, all of the Crystals (excluding Life and Time) used the last of their power to free Spiritus. Seeing as only 6 Crystals were used, Spiritus was "incompletely freed". He physically looks a little different and has no memories of the past, and is now known as Novus. But, he has this odd urge to stop Tempus's reign. He bands with the reincarnations of the Astrum Symbol Bearers and a few other heroes to stop the dark reign of Tempus and his army.

Appearance (Pics in Spoilers): Novus is about 5"10. he has light red hair, which looks almost like white when there is a lot of light on it and his eyes are amethyst colored. He usually wears a blue jacket with a black X over the front along with matching blue and black pants. He also wears matching shoes.

Weapon(s) (Up to 2, fists/magic not included in this.): A sword with a red gem on the pommel, and a silver hilt and guard. The blade is blueish black and glows when Novus is pushed to his limit.

Bio/Personality: Not much is known about Novus's past. It's as if he just "appeared". Novus is a kind individual. He's usually confused about a lot of things, seeing as he can't remember his past at all. At times, he may have short outbursts of anger, but that's usually because he's frustrated that he can't remember anything. Sometimes, though, he will have weird visions of an person who seems vaguely familiar.

Age: Unknown, presumably 17-19

Appearance (Pics in Spoilers): Tempus is around 5"9-5"11. He has light purple hair going down to his mid-back and has emerald colored eyes which shine red when he uses his abilities. He wears a long red/black cloak and matching shoes and pants. On the back of the cloak is a purple clock symbol with a red T in the center.

Weapon(s) (Up to 2, fists/magic not included in this.): He has 2 matching weapons. 1 is a giant purple hour-hand that has a sharp point. The other is a giant purple minute-hand that has a sharp point as well. The 2 usually connect/hover next to his arms when he uses them. Then can also be connected by their bottoms to make a dual-sided blade, or they can be connected by their sides to create a purple sword, which he calls Hourglass.

Bio/Personality: Tempus is what many may call insane or evil. He used to be the quiet one out of the Symbol Bearers, and was always planning this in his head. He believes what he is doing is right and he should kill anyone who stands in his way. Tempus is usually quiet and has the traits of a persuasive leader, being able to persuade almost anyone into doing what he wants. With his 8 Crystals, he labels himself as a God, although he has yet to use their full power.

Name: Ventus Skyle

 

Age: 16

 

Appearance (Pics in Spoilers): Ventus stands at 5'9 His hair falls to his shoulders and spikes 2 inches above his head giving him an anime type look, a very faded green with dirty white streaks. He always looks damaged and beat up scars cover his face and body. He wears a bandage type gauge around most of his head. All you're able to see of his face is his right eye, which looks a very faded grey. Part of his nose and cheek too are covered in this gauge. His mouth is left fully covered. His right arm is covered with the same dirty white gauge, so is part of his chest. The rest of his body is full of scars and bruises, although his dirty look, he has a good build and is quite handsome.

 

Weapon: His primary weapons are two Golden twin daggers, each with the Astrum symbol. Although concealed all over his body are what seems to be an endless supply of mini daggers, knives, thin arrows, and even Shuriken.

 

Bio/Personality: As a child Ventus was abandoned. He was found by an old lady that seemed to know about the Astrum mark and it's powers. She raised him, and soon told him his fate. At first he didn't take it seriously, he continued through his life, care-free, as most kids should. But one day when he was 12, the old women whom he's grown a bond with, was assassinated, by a man who sought the daggers that weld the Astrum mark. Although she knew that Ventus was destined to wield the daggers so she desperately fought, but by the time Ventus came to her aid it was too late, infuriated he picked up the daggers and slaughtered the man with ease. After that day he started to take his fate seriously, he trained day and night, he forgot all about worldly possessions, he forgot about friends, girls, fun. He doesn't care about the way he looks or how others view him. All he cares about is getting stronger, for the old lady's sake.

Bio/Personality: Eru grew up in a small village surrounded by a forest. He lived a normal life, with family and friends. One day, however, everything changed. He was awoken one night to the sound of screaming and a red hue in the air, only to find that the village and surrounding forest was aflame. Bandits and brigands had attacked, and all was in chaos that day. He found his family killed, and had no choice but to flee. The only thing he took with him was a bright crystal he had found as a small child, and his father's halberd, Aiedail. Every day after, he had visions, depicting his fate as a bearer of the Astrum Symbol of Light.

 

He is distant from others, and it takes much time for him to become very social with anyone. He never gives up, always pushing ahead. He is a very serious fighter, but outside of it, he's a very lax individual.

Name: Taiki Murasame

 

Age: 14

 

Appearance: 5' 7", thin frame, pale skin. His back has the Astrum mark for fire, with firey patterns branching out from it and onto his arms, legs and the back of his neck. Taiki has bright red hair with yellow highlights that make one think that his head is on fire. His eyes are bright yellow and seem to be focusing on something in the distance. He usually dresses very well despite the outfit also being battle ready. He wears a highly decorated red tunic with gold trimming with black trousers. Over his tunic, he wears a decorated cuirass, made from a special black alloy that is incredibly resistant to all conventional weapons, that bears the Astrum symbol that is also on his back. Over his cuirass, he wears a crimson and gold traveller's jacket that reaches down to his ankles. It is very warm and large, being able to cover two people at once. He also wears a large brown cavalier hat with a plume from a phoenix, which releases sparks when shaken violently.

 

Weapon(s): Taiki's weapon of choice is the Japanese longbow, or yumi. His is much taller than he is, exactly 227 cm in length when unstrung. It is masterfully lacquered to have a red and yellow gradient, the yellow being in the centre, one third of the way up the bow. It is incredibly powerful, being able to fire arrows fast enough to punch through the armour of most armoured foes. The bow in incredibly hard to draw, only Taiki or a very experienced archer can draw its string back. Taiki treats it with as much respect has a human being, with specific rules that cannot be broken by himself or anyone else. Since it would be highly disrespectful to use the bow as a bludgeon, he carries a naginata, a Japanese style spear.

 

Bio/Personality: Taiki was born to the powerful Murasame clan, a merchant family that had traded with people from the four corners of the world. Taiki was born with the strange Astrum symbol on his back, with appeared to grow with Taiki, spreading its patterns as he aged. His parents were troubled by this mark and promptly brought him to the local mystic. The mystic identified him as the beared of the Astrum mark of Fire and said that he is destined for greatness on the battlefield. His parents, despite being strongly against violence, were more superstitious that pacifistic and had Taiki trained by the most skilled warlords in the world. Taiki found archery to be his place in the battlefield and chose the yumi as his weapon of choice. He quickly adapted to the highly ritualized way of Japanese archery and his skills quickly developed. He also trained how to use a naginata, but getting blood on his hands made Taiki faint in fear. He recieved the best equipment money could buy, his bow and arrows made by the best bowmaker in the world and his armour made by a mystic blacksmith.

 

Despite being the embodiment of fire, Taiki is a very calm and collected person. Not many things can get the better of him. He doesn't enjoy fighting, but will use it when necessary, like when defending the innocent or defenceless. He has a fine taste in music and enjoys listening to the music of other lands. He also has a strong sense of honour and respect, referring to even his closest friends with the utmost respect. He has a powerful fear of blood. If he so much as touches it, he will faint in panic.

Name: Lugal'Zegesi'Xel'Esh, High Lugal of the Grand Hive

 

Age: Ancient, possibly during the time of the gods

 

Appearance: Zegesi is a massive humanoid being, measuring ten feet tall. He appears to be made of a shiny black stone neatly cut into blocks to form a human shape. He has a grotesque demon skull for a head and appears to be emanating a black light from his eyes.

 

Weapon(s): Zegesi wields a massive pole that is hollow. It is made of the same material that he is made of and is able to release bursts of fire from within it. Zegesi also carries a stone the size of a soccer ball that is able to open a portal to the Hive, allowing weak but numerous Hive minions to swarm out of.

 

Bio/Personality: Zegesi an ancient being that once waged war with the gods eons ago before he was defeated and locked away in a strange world along with the Hive, a race of mindless beings made of stone. In his strange world, Zegesi lead the Hive to use what resources were available to rebuild their Hive to its former glory. Then, they waited. Waited for a chance to avenge their defeat. Then a strange man came forth to his world and gave him that chance. Zegesi now leads the Hive in its crusade against the new gods, the bearers of the Astrum symbols. (Actually, Zegesi is not an ancient being, but a being from so far in the future that history pretty much reset itself.)

Weapon(s): The only weapon which he wields appears to be a simple Katana. What prevents it from being dismissed as merely this is the fact that it is not only bleached bone white, but the fact that there is a Daemonic eye embedded in the blade, just above the hilt. (No, it's not Soul Edge.)

[spoiler=Bio/Personality:] Calvarium is the form which a being of pure malevolence has chosen to take in the mortal world. This being is known as Xerran, and he is the most powerful of the Malevolent gods. Xerran normally exists in a Dimension far removed from our own known as The Warp. This is a timeless region of pure chaos. Calvarium was born seventeen years from the current time, and ever since then he has sown chaos throughout the world at every turn. About three years ago he, at least temporarily, entered into the service of Tempus. The reason for this being that his was the best offer at the time. He is a being of pure malevolence, at least that's what anyone who knows about him will tell you. Truth be told, much like the god who he is the incarnate form of, he is far from absolute evil. It simply appears that way because he hasn't had any reason to do good yet. There may yet be some hope for the symbol bearers who unite against Tempus to add yet another to their ranks. It should also be noted that usually his eyes are shrouded by a blood red glow. However, when this glow is absent the true pale green color of his eyes can be seen.

Appearance: Armendi stands at 6ft 1in. His light brown hair is cut very short. He has deep blue eyes reminicent of the sea. He wears the uniform of a General in Tempus' Army. On his belt he wears his two blades one on each side.

Weapon(s): Two matching 10in blades hand forged by himself. The blades are decarated in arcane runes to channel Armendi's magic. One is named Anemoi and the other Venti

Bio/Personality: By the age of 8, Armendi showed a talent for magic. This talent led to Armendi being forcefully recruited into Tempus' Army latter that year. For the next two years Armendi was trained for war by Tempus' soldiers. At the age of 11, Armendi was officially inducted into the Army. Over the next 7 years Armendi quickly rose through the ranks of Tempus' Army. This was due in part to the fact that many of his commanders fell victim to deadly accidents, were found to be traitors and executed, or simply found dead. Now as a General in Tempus' Army, he is in command of Tempus' personal guard.

 

Armendi is loyal only to Tempus and would die for him. Armendi is considered calm and collected by many and is not known to fly into rage. He is very serious when it comes to order and discipline.

Vallion was born in a small village where everyone knew each other, but no one actually trusted one another. Due to this, he was so unhappy, so he decided to go just leave. First, he watched the times that people left there homes, and when the shops were closed. When the people would leave their homes to go shopping, Vallion would break into the house and take whatever money he could find. He would move on to the next, and then once he finished taking what he wanted, he would wait until nightfall hiding outside the village. Then, he would return to the village to take from the shops. Packing up as much food as possible, he made his escape. Of course, he was unable to return to the village after this, and since he knew it, he made sure to have whatever he needed. He ran, and ran, and just ran until he found a city were he could use some of the money he had to buy supplies. What he had stolen wasn’t much, but it lasted him so far. He walked into the city, who was clueless as to what he did, and started to look around for a store, shop, whatever he could find. While he was in the city, he found a sword that was two blades crossed together in a smithery. He went into it, and went to talk to the maker of the sword. He asked about how much the sword would cost, and the answer was, “Nothing. It’s not for sale.” Vallion was upset, but he went and bought all the food he needed, and waited until nightfall in an Inn. Once it was near midnight, he went back to the smithery, broke in by picking the lock, and stole the sword. He wanted it, he didn’t care how he got it. He ran out of town, and just ran into the woods. He still tells no one about these times, as he fears judgment greatly.

 

Despite what he has done in the past, he doesn’t view himself as evil, he just saw the Sword as a way to survive once he left the city. He is normally glad to be around people, but since he stole the sword, he’s been a lot quieter then he once was. He doesn’t get into unnecessary arguments, and he tends to cool off after one quickly. He views every emotion as controllable, except for anger.

Bio/Personality:Faust lived in a major city full of noise business exotic people and food. Faust never got to experience these exquisite sites because ever since his birth he was sick from a very rare illness. Every not on his hospital bed he would have visions depicting the struggle between the two astral bearers Tempus and Spiritus. After the last vision showing how Spiritus was somewhat freed from the dimension his astrum symbol appeared inside his eye and on his right arm blazing in a golden color eventually changing to a midnight black color. He was the reincarnate of the astrum bearer of darkness. Once his astrum symbol had appeared his illness was cured but his appearance wasn't the same he had the resemblance of demon in human form. After many ours trying to figure out what was going on with him something happened all the memories of the bearer of darkness had seeped into him and Faust eventually became just like the original bearer, from personality,quiet and usually keeps away from people, to goals,ending Tempus' reign, and to skills mostly hand to hand combat and magic. When he returned home he had found a crystal with his astrum symbol engraved in it. He grabbed it went into his house changed clothes took all the necessities he need like money,food and water and left to end Tempus' reign.

Weapon: The katana, Tsuki, that has a blue diamond set in the pommel. It seems to give off strange energy whenever exposed to moonlight.

Bio/Personality: Petros is a very mysterious person, often refusing to give people his name unless he's fighting, when he takes the manners of a gentlemen. He was raised by his older brother, who gave him Tsuki when Petros turned 11. Petros never really liked people much, and especially hates people who are more powerful than himself. He often travels and has excellent survival skills as well as reconnaissance experience.
