The 5000th post. Reality is in disarray!

Recommended Posts

With this thread, I'll have reached my 5000th post. Only on one other site has this happened. Well, now is as good a time as any to post the "Reality" set I've been working on. It, once I reach the later cards, will completely screw all the rules of the game that I can. From the drawing during the draw phase, to ruining certain decks, and completely prolonging the duel... I'm out of things to say, so lets see the cards.

450800.jpg

Card Lore:

This card is also treated as the Spellcaster-Type. Once while this card is face-up on the Field, you may skip your Battle Phase to add 1 card in your Deck to your hand. While this card is face-up on the Field, level 4 and lower monsters cannot declare an attack.
450800.jpg

Card Lore:

If the opponent activates an effect that would destroy this card, you may discard 1 card to negate the effect. While this card is face-up on the Field, both Players must have the top card of their Deck flipped face-up at all times.
450800c.jpg

Card Lore:

When this card is summoned, you can destroy 1 monster on the Field. If you do, decrease this card's ATK by 500. While this card is face-up on the Field, monsters destroyed by card effects are removed from the game. "Reality" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle while this card is face-up on the Field.
450800.jpg

Card Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing 3 "Reality" monsters. When this card is summoned, add 2 "Reality" cards from your Deck to your Hand. "Reality" cards you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card is targeted by a card effect, negate the effect, and add 1 "Reality" card in your Graveyard to your hand. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon "Reality Destroyer" from you Hand or Deck.
450800.jpg

Card Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When this card is summoned, both players draw 3 cards. Then, both players must discard 4 cards. This card gains 300 ATK for every "Reality" card in the Graveyard. If this card would be destroyed, you may remove this card from play. Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase after it has been removed from play by this effect.
450800k.jpg

Card Lore:

This card cannot attack unless there is at least 2 "Reality" monsters on the Field. If this is the only "Reality" monster on the Field, destroy this card. While this card is face-up on the Field, cards that are removed from play are removed from the game.
450800y.jpg

Card Lore:

When this card is summoned, switch it to Defense Position. While this card is in Defense Position, "Reality" monsters you control cannot be destroyed in battle against non-FIRE monsters. If this card is destroyed, it is sent to the bottom of your Deck instead.
450800.jpg

Card Lore:

While this card is face up on the Field, "Reality" monsters cannot be destroyed by battle. Each players Draw Phase is skipped while this card is in Attack Position. When this card is destroyed, you may draw 1 card. If you do, you take 500 damage for each non-"Reality" card in your Graveyard.

450800o.jpg

Card Lore:

As long as this card is on the Field, neither player may draw cards during their Draw Phase. Each player draws 1 card from their Deck during their End Phase. Neither player may Normal Summon or Set during their turn. Once during your opponent's turn, you may Normal Summon or Set 1 monster from your Hand. If a monster is destroyed and you would take damage, you instead gain the same amount. Once while this card is face-up on the Field, if a player's Life Points is 10000 or more, both players must discard their hand and draw 3 cards. Any card sent to the Graveyard is sent to the bottom of the deck instead. If a player has no cards in their hand during their Standby Phase, they must draw 1 card. When a monster is summoned in Attack Position, flip it face-down without changing the battle position. A monster in face-down Attack Position cannot declare an attack.

This is the main card of the set. It is the main rule screwer as of now, but that may change soon.
450800e.jpg

Card Lore:

While this card is face-up on the Field, neither player may conduct their Battle Phase. Instead, they may Special Summon 1 monster that is level 1 from their Graveyard to the Field in face-up Defense Position. That monster may not be used as a Synchro Material Monster. If it is tributed, the summoned monster may not be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
450800l.jpg

Card Lore:

When this card is activated, remove from play 1 card on the Field. If it was a monster, you take 500 damage. If it was a Spell, destroy 1 monster you control. If it was a Trap, remove from play the top 2 cards from your deck.
450800c.jpg

Card Lore:

Discard 1 card. Select 1 "Reality" monster in your Extra Deck. Send "Reality" monsters on the Field listed on that card to the Graveyard and Special Summon it from the Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Fusion Summon.) This card's activation cannot be negated. The summoned monster cannot be destroyed in battle for the next 3 turns.

450800i.jpg

Card Lore:

This card can only be activated when a monster is destroyed. Destroy 1 "Reality" monster on the Field. Then, you may draw 1 card. When this card is removed from the field, remove it from the game instead.
450800j.jpg

Card Lore:

When this card is activated, select 1 monster on the Field. That monster cannot attack, switch it's battle position, or activate it's effect. When this card is removed from the Field, you lose Life Points equal to the monsters Level x200.
190904b.jpg

Card Lore:

While this card is face-up on the Field, monsters in Attack Position lose 500 ATK. If a face-down Attack Position monster is declared as an attack target, no Battle Damage is taken by that battle. If a face-down Attack Position monster is removed from the Field to summon a monster, the summoned monster can not attack.

450800kn.jpg

Card Lore:

Reality Creator + Reality Teleporter

While this card is face-up on the Field, monsters in Defense Position can attack. If a monster in Defense Position attacks, it's Defense is used in the Damage Calculation.
190904.jpg

Card Lore:

Reality Destroyer + Reality Fortress

While this card is face-up on the Field, both players must have their hand shown at all times. During the End Phase, the turn player must show the opponent the top card of their Deck. If the card is a Trap Card, the opponent may send it to the Graveyard. Then the turn player draws 1 card. If not, put it back on the top of the Deck. While this card is face-up on the Field, monsters cannot be summoned in face-down Defense Position. Monsters may be summoned in face-up Defense Position.

As time goes on, I'll add more and more. But for right now, I'm going to see what comments I get on these.

WHATS WITH THE SECOND SPELL!

:>

What better way to screw with Reality then using a bunch of floating baby heads?

This is a really good set. Your effects do change the game' date=' and i like that. Reality Gone is hillarious haha. 10/10 and thats rare for me to rate original cards. Good job.

Thank you very much. I'll likely have another update soon. I'm starting to wake up.

Well' date=' I see some OCG. The most common is level should be Level. Also, I'm confused about one of them. Doesn't Removed From Play mean Removed From The Game?

Rate = 8/10

[/quote']

No. It can be brought back when it's removed from play. When it's removed from the game, you can't get it back. It's just gone.

Thanks. Level was one I was unsure about.

Quite an intersting set. But I do have a question about the Field spell, how does 1 win while that's on the field?

Some pics are disturbing while still being excelent.

OCG looks spot on.

But I'm not shure if you can call these rule breakers ballanced, becouse most of them give tremendous draw power.

I would give them a 8/10, becouse they are good, but I hate rule bendingm at this level.

You don't win while it's on the Field. Later on I plan to add a method of obtaining an automatic win that relies on the Field Spell into the set.

Eh, I'm not really going for a perfect balance type thing. My thinking is this, "I'm going to screw as much of the meta as I can, even though I only know the basics of it." I locked off the Grave in a sense, monsters are summoned in face down attack position, and generic destruction doesn't really have a huge effect most of the time.

You hate screwing the rules? It's so much fun though. :<
