Ah' date=' man! They better be more than Ditto 1, Ditto 2, etc. and have names.

[/quote']

You'll see in Part 3. ^^

I have no idea how many Parts there are going to be. I might do those interviews again.

Interviews were the best.

I'm with King Matrix on this. because a murder won't fit a Mew's personality.

It's always the little ones you have to look out for. They seem innocent then BAM. They do something awful.

Yo man, Darkrai actually gets a role in this thing. I know I said that before, but he gets to give nightmares to Arceus!

Darkrai is better than Arceus, anyways. <_<

"Go find all the local Dittos, Mew, and Zoroark!" Mightyena shouted.

KILL IT WITH FIRE.

You fool! It will just Transform into Heatran. How dare you attempt to kill a Ditto with fire? n_n

Also, while it is a bit off topic, it pertains to the grammar of Twig's poast.

Pokemon, when pluralized, do not have an extra "s" at the end. I have no idea why, but that is considered the correct grammar. It's similar to how you'd say "one deer" or "multiple deer". As such, it'd be "one Ditto" or "twelve Ditto", but you do not want to say "twelve Dittos".

Arceus and Jirachi floated to the ominous island. The winds howled in the dark night. The full moon and the tiny stars provided just enough light so they can see. The trees danced around Arceus and Jirachi as they walked towards the center of the island. They stopped when they reached a moon-shaped pond. After waiting for a few seconds, a ghostly figure rose from the pond.

"Arceus," Darkrai said in a deep voice. "Did you come to kill me, too?"

"This is a different Arceus," Jirachi responded.

"There's two Arceus?"

"Well...We don't exactly know. I'll try to explain."

Jirachi told Darkrai everything that has happened; the Kabutop finding Arceus in a cave, the other Arceus escaping jail, and why they came here. Darkrai didn't seem surprised or interested.

"Very well," Darkrai said. "I've never had someone ask for nightmares."

"So how does this nightmare thing work?" Arceus asked.

"Nightmares pick memories that causes fear and pain, and projects them in your mind. They go for the nearest memories they can find. If they can't find any bad memories, they go even deeper into your mind. But to make sure the job gets done, I will be your nightmare."

"What?"

"I will literally go into your mind."

Mightyena looked at the Zoroark, Mew, and the six Ditto.

"How am I suppose to tell the six Ditto apart?" Mightyena barked.

"Well sir...One of them is shiny. That should help."

Mightyena facepawd. "Get them name tags! I'll do the interviews. As for the other Mightyena, go get some background information on each suspect."

The other Mightyena left, leaving only Mightyena with the eight suspects.

"You have all been chosen as a suspect. The crime? Impersonating Arceus, and killing 53 Pokemon. You guys have been chose because of your ability to transform."

"Wait a minute," Zoroark interrupted. "Why am I here? I can't transform."

I lol'ed when Mightyena facepaw'd. But where is the murder in this story? Guess theres so much to set up..

The murders are the same as before. The mystery is trying to figure out who's impersonating Arceus.

Also, because of the lag, there's been some delays. We would have had Part 4 by yesterday, but that will have to come later today.

[spoiler=Part IV]

Author's Notes: Arceus can see everything that Darkrai sees in the nightmare.

Jirachi watched as Darkrai dissolved into Arceus' head. When Darkrai was completely gone, Arceus fell down. The nightmare began.

Darkrai dived into Arceus' mind. It was like an endless pit of dark fog. Luckily, Darkrai can control everything in a nightmare. He pushed the fog away, revealing a large metal door like the one found in the cave. Darkrai opened the door, which released even more fogged. He tried to push the fog away, but more fog just filled in. Darkrai continued to float towards the darkness. Then, he saw something. It was him. He saw a copied version of him, except that it was more faded.

"A mirror?" Darkrai wondered.

Suddenly, the copy of him attacked him, and the nightmare ended.

Jirachi jumped when Darkrai suddenly blasted out of Arceus' head. Arceus woke up and looked at Darkrai.

"What happened?" Jirachi asked.

"I saw Darkrai," Arceus muttered.

"Well of course you did," Jirachi said. "Didn't he say he was going to be your nightmare."

"Well that's not exactly what I mean," Darkrai replied. "I meant that Arceus was going to see what my eyes were seeing in the nightmare."

"Wait a minute. What does this mean? There were two Darkrai?" Jirachi asked.

Darkrai and Arceus nodded.

"But why was it in my nightmare?" Arceus turned to Darkrai. "Wouldn't you have known about this?"

"I've never seen a copy of myself."

"Maybe you lost your memories too," Jirachi interrupted.

They all stopped in a moment of silence. Darkrai broke the silence.

"Could it be the same Pokemon who's impersonating Arceus?"

The Mightyena Team walked to their boss.
