[spoiler=Chapter1] Chapter One:It was morning at the Egyptian Duel Academy, and one girl was very, very angry. "Take that, you sorry excuse of a mugger!" She yelled, throwing a rock at the thug who had recently tried to rob her. Instead, she had dueled him, and ended up with 8000 life points left, to his 0. Now he was unconscious, at the base of a run-down apartment. The girl adjusted her hair, then quickly walked away. That duel was easy, she thought, but I might have to replace some of my field spells with monsters; there were a couple of times when he might have actually made me lose life points. With that thought in mind, she headed towards the nearest card shop, which, conveniently, was located at Central Statue, also where most of the examination duels were being held. She had already passed the written exam, and since she was a foreign transfer student, that was how her scores were calculated. And she knew she had gotten a perfect score. Still, maybe she could pick up some of the better student's tactics, so she would be able to get the best of them in a duel.

A tall-looking man stepped up to Vale. "I'm going to be your Duel Proctor today, young man." He was tall, thin, and looked like a stork. "You can even have the pleasure of going first." He told Vale, who gulped. "Alright then!" They both drew their hands, and Vale smiled. "You made a mistake in allowing me to first, because I'll set two cards face down, and then activate CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE! And now I'll send three cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard...And one of them happens to be Wulf, my LightSworn Beast!" He yelled, holding up the card and placing it on his duel disk. A large, white wolf-like beast appeared, roaring. "Next, I'll set a monster in face-down defense position, and end my turn!" He shouted.

"Fine by me..." The Proctor drew, and a huge smile appeared on his face."Excellent...I'll set two cards facedown, and activate HEAVY STORM!!!" He shouted. Vale's cards shattered, and so did the Proctors, which were two Statues of the Wicked. "Now I get two wicked tokens, which I will now sacrifice, for my YAMATA DRAGON!!! And now, I'll equip it with this! My mirror of Yata!" The monster looked like a huge hydra. "I attack your Wulf!" And because of my dragon's effect, I get to draw four cards, and then end my turn!" Vale stepped back, grimacing. 7300/8000 were the scores.

From afar, a certain teenager smiled. "Excellent...destroying them all will be easier than I thought," He said with a smile.

"It's my move!" Vale shouted, drawing his card. He closed his eyes, and chuckled. "Well, teach, it's been a nice duel...BUT ITS ABOUT TO BE OVER!!!" He shouted. "I'll flip up my RYKO, LIGHTSWORN HUNTER!!! And due to his effect, I'm going to be destroying your YAMATA DRAGON, leaving you defenseless!" The teacher smiled.

"Yes, but then you're going to attack me with a weak monster, hardly damaging my life points."

"Right...but because of Ryko's effect, I am allowed to discard the top three cards of my deck!" He prayed silently that they would be of use. His eyes snapped open, and he grinned. "Not what I was looking for, but still great!" He held up two copies of Wulf, and one of Garoth. Two more of the lycan beasts appeared on the field, and roared.

"Heh...I'll admit that you caught me off guard with that move...But I'll still have life points left!" He shouted.

"Nope, because I activate my two Double Attack spell cards!" He yelled, discarding Gorz, Emissary of Darkness, and Tragoida.

"NO!" The proctor yelled.

"Oh yeah! Wulf and Wulf! Attack him and finish this!" He shouted, raising a fist up. The two beasts were about to swipe at the Proctor, when he put his hand on top of his deck, signaling that he surrendered, causing the holograms to disappear.

"I admit defeat," The Proctor said, "But have a look at my hand..." He said, calmly holding up his five cards. Vale's eyes widened as he saw a Bottomless Trap Hole, Yata-Garasu, Chaos Emperor Dragon, Tribute to the Doomed, and Nobleman of Crossout. "Yeah, I could have beaten you. Possibly. But you still have a lot of potential, so you're accepted, as a Ra Yellow. Happy?" He smiled. Vale grinned as well.

"Right, Teach."

"Don't get cocky."

"Alright." The two shook hands, and walked of the stage, accompanied by the somewhat confused clapping of the audience, a bit shocked at the short duel.

 

[spoiler=Chapter2] Chapter Two: Alice ran through the halls of the unfamiliar Duel Academy. Unlike most of the other first years, she didn't have any siblings at all in the Academy. "I'm going to be late for my entrance exam!" She yelled. Then, coming to a halt, she stared in relief at a digital board, which proclaimed that her match wouldn't be starting for another twenty minutes, plenty of time to safely get to the arena.

She had met her Proctor, and they were now starting.

"Draw!" The male teacher said, putting a card in his hand. "Excellent...I'll activate the magic of Hand Destruction! And not only that, I'll chain it with this, my Greedy Dragon's effect! So when a card that targets both of us is activated, it only works on the player I choose, and I intend to target myself! I discard Makyura the Destructor, as well as my Different Dimension Dragon! And due to my Makyura's effect, I can activate traps directly from my hand this turn! But before that, I activate my FUTURE FUSION!!! And I'll send five dragon monsters to the graveyard, and I'll be able to call forth the mighty FGD!!! RIGHT NOW!!! Because I'll activate TURN JUMP!!! A trap that moves our turns ahead 3 times! So my FGD is back on the field, and because of my Red-Eyes Black Wyvern, during last turn, I was able to summon forth my Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon! And this turn, I'll use it's effect, to summon my BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!!!" Suddenly, three huge dragons appeared in front of him, and Alice took a step back. "Unfortunately, Turn Jump ends my Battle Phase...but it's a small price to pay!" Then he gestured that it was her turn. She took a deep breath, and then drew a card.

"I'll activate Dimensional Fissure!" A large hole appeared in the middle of the arena. "Now, I'll activate my Lightning Vortex!" She shouted. Bolts of lightning came down, destroying everything on the field. Then, the shrapnel was sucked into the fissure, along with her discarded D.D. Survivor. "Now, my monsters effect would let him come back during my end phase. However, I'm summoning my D.D. Warrior Lady in attack mode! And then, I'll activate the card known as "A small token of thanks!" And what it does, is let me put in a phase right now, and I'll choose my end phase, so my Survivor is back on the field." The man in a tattered shroud reappeared on the field, next to the woman in black. They looked at each other, and nodded. "Now, both of you, attack him directly!" The man punched the Proctor, and the woman slashed him.

"Then it's my turn, and I'll activate this!" The Proctor yelled, barely looking at the card he had drawn. "My Dimension Refusal!" A giant portal appeared in the sky. "Think of it as a refined version of Return From The Different Dimension...I get my monsters back, but I have to pay half of my life points...though since I'm summoning my Secondary Material Dragon, half of it gets added to my life points instead!!!" Suddenly, a large, golden dragon appeared in the air, next to the other three. 0/0 (LP: 5875) "But my Dragon gets destroyed." Then, it shattered. "Now, all of you, attack her monsters, as well as her life points!" The Blue-Eyes ate the man, while the Red-Eyes grappled with the lady, both of them eventually shattering, while the FGD just stomped on Alice.

"Yeah? Well, my Warrior Lady's effect removes your Red-Eyesore from play, after damage calculation, of course," She shouted.

"Fine...it's your turn."

"Alright, then I'll activate the magic card known as "A Large Change Of Plans, which destroys everything on the field, then causes us to both draw and discard four cards!" She shouted. Suddenly, everything got sucked into the portal in the sky, which then disappeared. "And now, I'll summon the monster that will defeat you, my ChaosRider Alexei-Envoy of the Beginning of the End!!!" She shouted. A man appeared from nowhere, riding on the back of a dragon. He wore a black coat. 3000/2500 "He can only be summoned when he's the only card in my hand, and I have two of both Light and Dark monsters in my graveyard!!! She shouted. "And guess what? He can attack twice per turn!!! Now, Alexei, wipe him out!!!" The man jumped in front of the duel Proctor, then smiled, and threw a ball of pure energy at him.

"Nice duel," The Proctor said, before jumping out of the way of the thrown energy. "You're in Ra Yellow, so go to the administration desk, and they'll show you to your living quarters," He said.

"Thanks," She said. She smiled, and so did he. Then, they went their seperate ways, neither realizing that they were both being watched by a student.

"Heh...if everyone's getting into Ra, maybe I should, too," He said, walking away from his dark hiding spot.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter3] Chapter 3: The two siblings walked down, into the large arena where they were about to have their entrance exam. The headmaster had informed them that they would be dueling in a tag duel. And the odds were tilted in their favor; if they managed to reduce the Proctor Teams life points to 4000, they would both get in. However, the Proctors would have to reduce their life points to 0 before they could win the duel. So then, why did they feel like today wasn't going to turn out good?

"Brother, I'm sure we'll be able to make it," Elva told him. He didn't seem convinced.

"Yeah, I know my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon won't let me down," He said, looking at his favorite card.

"And neither will my Horus's," She said, trying to cheer him up. It didn't seem to be working.

"Yeah, I know...but then why do I get the feeling we won't be able to succeed?" He asked. It was true; ever since they had left home to enter the Egyptian Academy, they had had a bad feeling about this whole venture. But then again, how else would they manage to succeed?

"Don't worry...I'm sure you'll be alright," She told him. Her smile finally caught on, and he grinned.

"Let's do this!" And together, they ran into the light of the arena.

"I'll go first!" Darius shouted, drawing his first card. A grin came over his face. "Excellent...I'll activate my Foolish Burial Spell card, and send my Prime Material Dragon from my deck to my graveyard! Next, I'll summon my Masked Dragon! But he's not staying for long, because I'll remove him from play, to summon my RED EYES DARKNESS METAL DRAGON!!!" The small red-and-white dragon disappeared and then the huge, mainly black metallic-looking dragon appeared, roaring. Then, a large golden dragon appeared next to it. "And I'll use it's effect, to bring back my Prime Material Dragon! Then I'll put two cards face down, and let you have a go," He said.

"Fine by me," The Proctor said, drawing a card. "I'll activate Graceful Charity! And I'll discard my Makyura the Destructor! So now, I can activate trap cards directly from my hand! So now I'll activate By Order of the Emperor, Backfire, and Coffin Seller! Then I'll sacrifice all of them, to summon my mighty URIA LORD OF SEARING FLAMES!!!" A huge, red dragon appeared on the field. 4000/0. "And since the other card I discarded was also a trap, well, I think that move speaks for itself...But now I'll activate Disgraceful Charity, to bring those cards back!" The Sacred Beasts attacked dropped. 3000/0. "But now, I'm also going to activate my Pot of Greed! Then I'll play Core Blast, Spirit Barrier, and Astral Barrier! But they won't be here for long, since I'm sacrificing all of them, to summon a second URIA LORD OF SEARING FLAMES!!!" A second dragon appeared next to the first one, and they both roared, as their attack points skyrocketed. 6000/0-times2. "And I think I'll now activate my two Beast's abilities, to destroy your two face-down cards!" He shouted, raising a finger at the two unknown cards. "Urias, destroy them!" He shouted. The two dragons roared, and the face-down cards shattered. "Just thank yourselves I didn't decide to go last," He said.

"Would you just be quiet?!" She asked him. "Since you don't have any more cards in your hand, I'm assuming you ended your turn, which means it's my turn!" She yelled, drawing a card. "Excellent...I'll special summon Cyber Dragon, then activate Stumbling! Then I'll summon my Golem Dragon in defense mode. Not only that, I'll use my brother's dragon's ability to summon my Horus, the Black Flame Dragon LV4! But next I'll play Level Up! To summon Horus, the Black Flame Dragon LV6!" She shouted. Next to the metal dragon and the brown dragon, a black dragon appeared, and screeched loudly. "And I'll end my turn at that!" She shouted.

"Then it's my turn," The female Proctor said. "Now I'll activate Gorgon's Fang, allowing me to take control of each and every continuous spell card on the field, which means your "Stumbling" is mine!" She said, the card coming over to her side of the field quickly. "Next I'll activate Mass Driver, Dark Room of Nightmare, Insect Barrier, as well as Field Barrier!" Her spell and trap zone suddenly filled up.

"Hah!" Darius shouted. "You've just filled up your zone with a bunch of useless spell and trap cards, a rookie mistake!" He shouted victoriously.

"Darius...at times, you can be such a fool," His sister said, shaking her head. "There is only one reason for playing so many continuous spells...can you guess what it is?" She asked him.

"No," He said, followed by the other three crashing to the ground in embarrassment. "What? Do I offend?" He asked.

"No, you're just not very smart," Elva said. "She's obviously going to-" She was cut off by a large green pot appearing on the field.

"I play my Pot of Greed spell card!" The Proctor shouted. "Next, I'll sacrifice three of my spells to summon my Sacred Beast!" The cards disappeared. "To summon...my HAMON LORD OF STRIKING THUNDER!!!" She yelled. A huge, golden, skeletal version of Ra appeared, screeching. DEF:4000. "Then I'll activate a second Pot of Greed, followed by the activation of my Degenerate Circuit, and it's disappearance, heralding the coming of my second Beast!!!" The cards disappeared, and a second skeletal Ra appeared, sight next to the first, this one also in defense mode. DEF:4000-times2. "And I think that'll be all for now," She said.

"Oh god," Darius said. "I'll summon my Decoy Dragon in defense mode, switch my two dragons to defense mode, and end my turn," He said, a small, cute-looking dragon appearing on the field. It quivered at the sight of the four gigantic Sacred Beasts.

"Then it's my turn...And I'll play my Card of Demise!" He shouted, and drew five new cards. "Then I'l play my "A Small Token of Thanks", which clears your field, and gives you 4 "Token Tokens" to the field in defense mode. DEF:0" He said, the monsters disappearing, and being replaced with four boxes.

"Now why did he do that?" Isabelle asked from afar. A student dressed in a black uniform came up to her.

"Simple, otherwise that Red-Eyes would have stalled the duel into oblivion, and I'll bet he has some way of destroying those tokens," He said.

"But now that Red-Eyes is in the graveyard, won't it just come back?" She asked him.

"No, see, that card removes from play everything on your opponent's field," He told her.

"Oh...so what's your name?" She asked him.

"...Kirin. Kirin Aszhal," He said. They smiled, and shook hands.

"I'm Isabelle Adante," She told him. His eyes widened almost imperceptibly.

"Any relation to Alexander Adante?" He asked. Her expression became cold, and she turned away.

Next, I'll summon Garnata!" A green, weird-looking monster appeared on the field. 0/0. "I can sacrifice it, to place a fusion monster in my hand," He said, the monster disappearing, and a card from his extra deck shooting into his hand. "Next, I activate Double Attack, discard my Armitael, and have my Urias attack twice each, clearing your field!" He shouted. The dragons shot flame all over the boxes, which shattered.

"Then it's my turn," Elva said. She looked at the card she had drawn, frowned, and placed a card in defense mode. "And then I'll end my turn," She said, frowning. She had hoped they would win, but that wasn't too likely as of now. Then she sighed; they would get into another academy.

"It's my move!" The Proctor shouted. "I'll use Pot of Greed! Then Pot of Gluttony!: She shouted, drawing until she had five cards in her hand. "Next, I'll activate Lightning Vortex!" She said, lightning coming down from the sky and destroying Elva's monsters, who looked stricken. "And then I'll activate Double Summon, to summon twice this turn!" A small green goblin appeared on the field, then shattered, giving to way to an insect-like bug. "Say hello to my Spell Canceler!" She shouted. "Now, my Hamons, Lords of Striking Thunder...END THIS DUEL!!!" She shouted. The two monsters shot lightning at Elva, who, at the last minute, activated a card.

"Oh yeah?! Well, I'll chain with a face-down card, my Dragon's Last Roar!!!" She shouted.

"What?! But I destroyed all of your face-down cards last turn!" The male Proctor shouted.

"Well when my trap gets destroyed, it activates during the next battle phase, which happens to be right now!" She told him.

"That's nice, but what does it do?" The female Proctor asked.

"It only activates when you would attack and lower my life points to zero," She shouted.

"And?" The male Proctor asked.

"It halves your life points!!!" She shouted.

"But that means-" They both looked stricken. They had agreed that if their life points went down to 4000, the two would be able to get into the Egyptian Academy...and that was what was about to happen.

"Oh yeah!" She shouted.

"Just like you can't stop a dragon from roaring," Her brother said, and then they spoke in unison.

"You can't stop our dream!!! Go! Dragon's Last Roar, bring them down to 4000 life points!!!" They shouted. And then fire shot out from the ground on Elva's side of the field, and hit the two Proctors squarely, their duel disks powering off. They hit the ground.

"And that's how you win a duel!" They shouted, walking off. They were intercepted by the principal.

"Hello," He said. "You're getting into Ra Yellow!" He told them, smiling. They grinned as well.

"Oh yeah!" Then they high-fived, and ran to their new dorm.

"Kids," The principal said, smiling.

Kirin stepped up to the arena. It was time for his entrance duel. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and smiled.

"Time to duel," He said.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter4] Chapter 4: Kirin Aszhal stepped up to the stage, took a deep breath, and smiled again. He was around five feet tall, with black hair that was white closer to the roots. He had green eyes, a pale face, and a slim body. Except for his white hair, he looked completely average...but he wasn't.

"It's my turn!" Kirin shouted. He and the Duel Proctor had already shaken hands, tossed a coin, and Kirin was going first. He smiled as he looked at his hand, and even more when he draw his first card. His eyes snapped open from their closed position, and his grin became larger. "...You know, I would liked to have actually dueled for a bit...But it seems that won't be possible," He said.

"What are you talking about?!" His Proctor asked. He was around six feet tall, an Obelisk Blue student, and wore glasses that complimented his blond hair. He was muscled as well.

"I'm talking about my turn!" Kirin snarled. "I'll activate my GRACEFUL CHARITY spell card, and discard Bronn and Kushano!" He yelled, putting the cards in his graveyard after drawing three more. "Next I'll activate Polymerization, to fuse my two Yata-Garasu into my Rasu-Gio, the Eagle of Fate!!!" Suddenly, a small black bird appeared on Kirin's side of the field. (400/300).

The Proctor burst into laughter. "What is that thing?!" He asked, laughing loudly.

"SHUT UP!!!" Kirin yelled. The Proctor stopped. "When he's summoned, I can draw four cards, which I will!" He said, drawing four more times.

"So it get's you hand advantage?" The Proctor asked, lifting an eye-brow, interested.

"SHUT UP!!!" Kirin yelled again. "I'll remove from play my Bronn and my Kushano to summon my CHAOS EMPEROR DRAGON-ENVOY OF THE END!!!" He shouted, the huge, green dragon covered with bone-like armor appeared on the field, roaring loudly.

"Oh god..." The Proctor gulped.

"Now I'll activate my BARREL UPON THE DOOR!!!" He shouted. A large barrel appeared.

"Um?" The Proctor asked, confused.

"Until the end of this turn, whatever monster effects would do damage to my life points do it to you instead!" He shouted.

"GAH!!!" The Proctor yelled.

"AND IT GETS WORSE!!!" Kirin yelled. "I'll activate my Chaos Emperor Dragon's effect, so you lose 4600 life points!!!" He shouted. The dragon roared, and blue flame appeared all over the field, incinerating everything. However, when the smoke cleared, the Proctor's jaw dropped...

...Because Kirin's monsters were still there. (Proctor: 3400, Kirin: 8000).

"How are your monsters still there?!" He yelled.

"Because my Rasu-Gio makes it so that monsters on my side of the field can't be removed from play!" He told him, punching the air in front of him with his fist.

"OH GOD!!!" The Proctor yelled.

"OH YES!!!" Kirin shouted. "CHAOS EMPEROR DRAGON!!! ATTACK WITH SOUL CHAOTIC BURST STREAM!!!" He yelled, the mighty armored dragon shooting blue flame all over the Proctor, who screamed. (Proctor: 400, Kirin: 8000)

"NO!!!" He yelled.

"NOW!!! Rasu-Gio!!! INCINERATE HIS SOUL WITH SPIRIT'S WING BLAST!!!" Kirin shouted, the small bird suddenly unleashing a huge burst of wind, which hit the Proctor dead on. He instinctively flinched, and fell off of the platform, his duel disk breaking, and the holograms disappearing. (Proctor: 0, Kirin: 8000).

"Um..." The principal said.

"And that..." Kirin said, walking off of the arena, "That is game." However, he was intercepted by the principal.

"Congratulations!" The principal told him. "You're getting into Obelisk Blue!" He said, smiling.

"Yeah...don't think so," He said, taking his duel disk off of his arm.

"Wait, what?" The principal asked, confused.

"I'd rather be in Ra Yellow...after all, Ra is the greatest God Card, so that's the dorm for me," Kirin said.

"Uh...okay..." The principal said, a bit taken aback. The crowd booed at Kirin, who didn't take any notice.

"Heh..." A man said, lurking in the shadows, unnoticed. "Soon, young Aszhal...you shall meet your destiny!!!" And with that, he saw Vale Kalu, one of his other targets, in the crowd, and followed him.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter5] Isabelle was really, really bored. She hadn't had anything to do since the entrance duels had ended, and the opening dinner was a few hours away, enough time for a quick duel. However, everyone she had met so far had been all stiff and boring, saying the usual "it's against the rules!!!" bit.

Yes, she attracted attention, what with her legendary last name, blond hair, toned figure, and almost medieval skirt. However, no one had yet dared to accept a challenge from her.

Then she saw a boy who looked like he might break the rules a bit. She smiled; he was a regular schoolboy, but he had that defiant look to him. A lot of it. She skipped over to him. He seemed to look up when he saw her approaching.

"Want to duel?" She asked, forcing as much politeness into her voice as possible.

"I get the first move," The boy said.

"Alright, now lets go find a classroom where a teacher won't walk in," She said.

And then they set off in pursuit.

"My move!" The boy said, drawing his sixth card. He and Isabelle had managed to find a room, but not before the boy had told her that his name was Darius Server. "I summon Sangan!" He shouted, the small, furry, three-eyed beast squealing in delight at having being chosen. It hugged him. "Sorry little fella, but you've got to go!" He said, activating a card on his duel disk. "I activate Double Summon, allowing me to send away my Sangan for something bigger!" He yelled, a large, red dragon appearing. "Meet Genesis Dragon!" He shouted. "And due to Sangan's effect, I get a monster with-" He was cut off by Isabelle, who waved a hand dismissively.

"Please," She said, "Everyone and their grandmother knows what that card does," She scoffed.

"Um...whatever, I'll just add my Masked Dragon to my hand!" He shouted, the card popping out of his duel disk.

"Have you ever wondered why exactly our duel disks do that?" She asked, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. He sweat-dropped.

"No, and I don't really care," He said. "Because I'll activate my Genesis's effect, allowing me to send my Prime Material Dragon to my graveyard!" He shouted. "And then I'll remove it from play, to summon the star of my deck..." He shouted, the dragon shattering, but not before a giant black, metallic-looking dragon appeared in it's place.

"Ooh, whoopee," She said, rolling her eyes. "Another Dragon Recovery Deck, revolving on summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, and using it's effects to special summon Prime Material Dragon, effectively destroying the effects of half of the traps in the game." She rolled her eyes again.

He sweat-dropped again. "Um...you're right..." He said, hanging his head. Then the large, golden dragon appeared next to his Red-Eyes. "Next I'll put two cards face-down, and end my turn," He said, giving her a thumbs-up.

"Heh..." She drew her card, barely looking at it."Too many people use dragons these days," She told him. "Like me!" She yelled, slapping a card on her duel disk, taking it off, drawing three cards, and then discarding two, after which they popped back onto the field, and two huge demons appeared on the field, all in one swift motion. (2300/1400) (2300/1400)

"Gah." He said, watching his face-down cards shatter, presumably through her card's effect. He knew what the two demons were, Goldd and Silvia, Wu-and-War-Lord of Dark World. It was the oldest trick in the book.

"Yeah..." She smiled. Then she slapped another card on her duel disk, put another card on, and took a card out of deck and into her removed-from-play pile swiftly. Within seconds, a huge black hole appeared in the sky, and a dark version of Stardust Dragon appeared on the field as well, with dark knee-and-shoulder-pads. (3000/2000). It roared loudly, and the other two raised their weapons into the air as well, roaring in unison. (2300/1400 + 500/0) (2300/1400 +500/0). She motioned quickly. The Malefic Stardust Dragon shot black energy at the golden dragon, and it shattered. (Darius LP: 7400) Then she put another card on her field, and discarded and re-drew her entire hand, motioning for Darius to do the same, which he did.

"Um..." He said.

Another Fiend rose up on the field, this time carrying some kind of spear with a blade on the end. (2100/1300). It too, roared loudly. Then she pushed all of the cards off her duel disk, slapping another one on. This time, a gigantic fiend in gold-plated armor arose, looking completely human. The only reason he knew it was a fiend was because their was a giant skull near it's waist. (3500/3000).

"Meet my AGGIBA, THE MALEVOLENT SH'YNN S'YO!!!" She shouted, the huge monster roaring.

"Oh god," He said, backing away. He knew now that this girl was a pro. He wondered what dorm she was in.

"And then I end my turn," She said. He sighed in relief; thanks to her Malefic Stardust Dragon, it was the only monster on her side of the field that could attack.

"Ok, I guess it's my turn," He said, drawing a card. "You made a mistake," He said, laughing. Then he stopped. "You insulted my dragons!!!" He yelled, taking two cards out from his graveyard, and putting another on his duel disk. "I remove from play one dark and one light monster," He roared, two orbs, one black....

....and one white, appearing, and melding, forming a huge green dragon with an orange mane, and bone-like armor all around it.

"MY CHAOS EMPEROR DRAGON ENVOY OF THE END!!!" He shouted. (DEF: 2500) "Next I'll switch my Red-Eyes to defense mode, and summon my Decoy Dragon, also in defense mode!" He yelled, the cute, blue-and-white dragon crouching. "And that's the end of my turn," He said. But then, he pointed at her. "You'll pay for insulting my dragons!" He yelled.

She laughed, drawing her card. She looked at it, and become very still, closing her eyes. Then they snapped open, gunmetal-gray. "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IVE BEEN THROUGH!!!" She roared. Then, she placed a card on her duel disk, the black hole in the sky enlarging, and destroying all of the monsters on the field. "I'll activate my DARK HOLE!!!" She roared.

"Heh..." He laughed. "You should have just activated Raigeki or something!!!" He shouted at her. She smiled, then quickly placed a card on her duel disk. (Isabelle: 4000LP) A huge, yellow, backwards dragon appeared on the field, roaring loudly. (5000/5000)

"..." Isabelle said, motioning for the beast to attack. It did, shooting black fire at Darius. (Darius: 2400 LP). She then motioned for him to draw a card. He started to, but was interrupted by the principal, who angrily walked in, then stopped, his face white, seeing the giant yellow beast staring at him.

"Gah." He said. Then he pushed a button on a remote that he held, and their duel disks powered off, the huge beast fading out. He looked sternly at the two duelists. "Get to your dorms!" He yelled at them. "Every year, we have people who break the rules..." Then he looked at them. "But you two broke the rules before you heard them," He said thoughtfully. Then he shook his head. "Just get to your dorms...I'll figure out your punishment later," He said, walking out of the room.

"I would have won," Isabelle said.

"You don't know that," Darius said defiantly.

"...true." She said, closing her eyes. "A draw?" She asked.

"A draw," He agreed. Then they both ran to their respective dorms.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter6] Isabelle sighed; she was watching the featured duel just for the heck of it...she had expected to get into Obelisk Blue, seeing how she was an amazing duelist, and it was the highest dorm and everything, but...well, she had gotten into Ra Yellow...

"Isn't it amazing that all of these people got into the highest dorm?" Kirin asked from beside her, waving at all of the people.

"Oh, hello, Kirin," Isabelle said absentmindedly.

"..." Kirin was surprised; almost everyone who he sneaked up on yelled and called the campus police.

"Oh, and why did you say this is the highest dorm?" Isabelle asked, turning around.

"Because it is," he said. She raised an eyebrow, so he elaborated. "Well, in Egyptian mythology, Ra is the most powerful god, and also, Ra is the most powerful Egyptian God Card..." He snorted.

"..." Isabelle had no idea what to say.

"See, Slifer's power isn't limited, really," He told her. She frowned.

"But that's only if you play 'Infinite Cards'," She reminded him.

"No," Kirin said, shaking his finger at her. "Technically, since you only have to discard them during the End Phase, you can just use a spirit that will stop that," He said.

"Eh?" She asked.

"It's true," he told her. "Lots of spirits are used to skip either your or your opponent's phases...Yata-Garasu....Big Long Nose...Drain Time...those cards," He said.

"Oh wow..." She said, impressed.

"And that's not all...Obelisk's ability is actually not to increase it's attack power to infinity, but to destroy all monsters your opponent controls, and since it cannot attack the turn you use that effect, well, it's rather underpowered. And about your Match Winner strategy," He said...

"Let's duel!" Vale shouted, drawing his sixth card. "I'll put four cards face-down, and a card in defense mode!" He yelled.

"Then it's my turn," Alice said, looking at her cards, disappointed. "I'll summon my Different Dimension Warrior-" She was cut off by her monster shattering.

"And I activate my Bottomless," Vale said, yawning.

"Er...ok," Alice said, obviously flustered. She hadn't really wanted to do this duel, but the headmaster had insisted, and well, one thing had led to another. "I'll put a card face-down," She said, sighing.

"Then I'll activate Charge of the Light Brigade, and put my two Wulfs into the graveyard, which means they get special summoned to the field..." He said, two beast-like warriors appearing, and roaring loudly as well. (2100/300)times two. "Next I'll flip up my Ryko, use his effect to destroy your face-down, summon yet another Wulf due to my Ryko's effect," He said, another huge beast appearing next to the other, "and then attack you directly!" He yelled, pointing at her. She gulped, and just barely managed to dodge the 6500 points of damage headed her way. He smirked, placing a card on the field horizontally, after which he motioned that it was his turn.

"I'll activate Hand Destruction," She said in a monotone, discarding and drawing, her movements copied by Vale. "And then set a monster in defense mode," She said.

Vale had no idea if she actually had no hope left, or if that face-down monster was a Penguin Soldier, or anything. Still, though, he would win the duel. "I flip up my second Ryko, and then I'll-" He was interrupted by the sound of Alice powering off her duel disk. She stepped off of the stage in obvious surrender.

Alright, Night_Lock. Is Vale or Alice going to duel against the first Proctor? (Answer, then type an opening scene {usual, "I'm late", or something), get to Duel Academy.

It was morning at the Egyptian Duel Academy, and one girl was very, very angry. "Take that, you sorry excuse of a mugger!" She yelled, throwing a rock at the thug who had recently tried to rob her. Instead, she had dueled him, and ended up with 8000 life points left, to his 0. Now he was unconscious, at the base of a run-down apartment. The girl adjusted her hair, then quickly walked away. That duel was easy, she thought, but I might have to replace some of my field spells with monsters; there were a couple of times when he might have actually made me lose life points. With that thought in mind, she headed towards the nearest card shop, which, conveniently, was located at Central Statue, also where most of the examination duels were being held. She had already passed the written exam, and since she was a foreign transfer student, that was how her scores were calculated. And she knew she had gotten a perfect score. Still, maybe she could pick up some of the better student's tactics, so she would be able to get the best of them in a duel.
