Long ago, before the creation of this world, there were two completely different worlds. Before the creation of the universe as we know it, there existed the world of Light, and the world of Darkness. The Gods of these worlds were brothers; born from the creator of the universe himself. The God of Light was named Excel, while the name of the God of Darkness was Abxul.

 

The two had a brotherly, but very fearsome rivalry. Out of this rivalry, they together created a battleground, known as Earth. As the fledgling planet grew, the inhabitants of it evolved; eventually becoming strong enough for the brother’s competition to begin. They would recruit beings, and form armies. These armies would fight for the pleasure of the Gods, and for the great rewards that the Gods would give them. The winner would wear a medal, until the other finally defeated them. The battles were bloody, destructive, and gruesome. However, no matter how evil or explosive, the two were brothers, and as such, they would protect each other at all costs.

 

Soon, evils from their former worlds began to enter their kingdom. When the evils were around, the brothers would protect each other, and send their armies to battle them. The battles would rage for months, even years, but the armies of the Gods would overcome. However, the evil armies have been growing in power, and have begun to threaten the Gods.

 

For thousands of years, the Gods have continued their game, and fighting against the evils of their worlds. Now, the time has come for you to choose which God you wish to follow. Choose wisely, the battle is soon to begin, and the undecided have no safe place on the battlefield.

[spoiler=Card of the Day (New!)]Every day or so, Abxul (Yankee) or Excel (X-L) will review what we believe to be the best custom card made that day. They will search all of the custom cards section to find the best cards. Maybe you'll be granted a great prize by the Gods...

 

This is X-L(Excel) with the first card of the day review. The first of the LaDC. Not only is this one special, but this one was made by one of our own members.8)

Lore:

1 Thunder-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, place 2 Chaos Conductor Counters on 2 cards on the field. If this card battles with a monster with a Chaos Conductor Counter on it, destroy it with this card's effect. If a Spell or Trap Card is activated with a Chaos Conductor Counter on it, you can discard 1 card to negate that card's activation and destroy it. Once per turn, you can send 1 Thunder-Type monster on your field to the Graveyard to place 1 Chaos Conductor Counter on a card on the field.

 

 

 

So it's named after the Dark leader...errr..it is the Dark Leader, my brother. So it's got a good name. Attribute matches (DARK) lol obvious. It's a Synchro which I find cool as well (I'll get back to that when I'm to the effect). Level is 7, which is fine. I was hoping for more ATK, but never the less, it has 2300 ATK, and decent 2100 DEF.

 

Now, a strange thing here, is that it's Thunder-Type. Why Thunder? Well, the art explains that. Art is decent, looks like a samurai Gannon in a more beastly form. Suitable for this card. There are also minions infront...0_0

 

The Effect: It states you need a Thunder-Type Tuner + 1 or more non tuners. Thunder Tuner was an odd choice. In the real yugioh, there are only 2, which I can't think off the top of my head, but they are of the Watts Arch-Type...and they are all LIGHT, and look and have absolutely nothing to do with this card. So that's strange, unless people made custom ones...

 

When it's Synchro'd, you can place longly named counters on 2 cards on the field. They have a purpose. Any monster that battles Abxul with a counter can be destroyed by the effect is has. So anything bigger can die. He ain't afraid anything. Also, you can place them on S/Ts to. So if one activates a S/T with a counter on it, you can discard a card to negate. I like that. However, this is usually only going to work on Traps, since Spells can activate, but who's going to put them down? Quick-Plays they'll just chain to. But, it's very nifty.

 

And you can also send a Thunder-Type from your field to grave, place another one of them conducter counters on a card. Sounds like this card could get it's own set...really. On it's own with that last effect, there ain't much it can do except for the first 2 counters, but if there was support...yesh!

 

The effect ain't to powerful, but it can do a lot of things and fly around the room. If it were real (And if there were more Thunder Tuners), I would use this.

 

Appearance: 8/10

Effect: 9/10

Balance: 8/10

TOTAL: 25/30 = 83.33%/100% = B

After just one day, the dark army has grown substantially! We now have amassed an army of ten soldiers, and have so far grown much faster than that of my brother Excel's army of Light!

This is the Light side. I, Excel (X-L) am the leader of this place. Don't worry, it's not to bright. That is, if you want to join. But why should you join the Light? Because Light always shines through the Darkness. And we have brownies! So come join the fearsome Light!

Unlike my brother, I do not need to use gimmicks to bring in members to my army. You are accepted.

I thought about joining the Light but the Darkness calls to me for being misunderstood and i like it better anyway.
