Just Crouton
...Anybody got TheArchfiend reference? Crystal Beast Jasper Crane*4WINDWinged-Beast/EffectATK 1900DEF 700Effect: When your opponent activates a card effect that adds card(s) from their deck to their hand, negate that effect with this card's effect and destroy that card. Destroy this card afterwards. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Crystal Beast Obsidian Panther*1EARTHBeast/TunerATK 400DEF 400Effect: When using this card as a Synchro Material Monster, the other Synchro Material Monster is 1 "Crystal Beast" monster in your Spell & Trap Zone. The Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster cannot activate its effects, its effect(s) is negated, and is removed from play when removed from the field. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Crystal Beast Quartz Platypus*3WATERAqua/EffectATK 1200DEF 700Effect: While this card is in your Spell & Trap Zone, you can send this card and 2 other "Crystal Beast" monsters from your Spell & Trap Zone to the Graveyard to return 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Crystal Beast Sunstone Butterfly*4LIGHTInsect/EffectATK 1500DEF 1000Effect: When this face-up card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. -Griffin
The last card is great. As generic as some people might call it, a searcher for Peg is exactly what they needed. Seeing Jasper, I think CBs might also be able to justify Icarus now, which is really nice (as is the ATK). Panther seems a little too restricting, but it might be justified, hard to tell. ~Kip~
Am I mistaken, or do I see a Crystal Beast Tuner? That should not be there. Crystal Beasts are for Abundance, not Synchro. Link to comment
Vector Nightmare
And besides, Obsidian Panther is weak. The best he could summon would be Catastor, who is worthless without his effect. At least make him level 3 or something. And Grasslander, you're wrong. Though Crystal Abundance is the strongest weapon in a CB deck currently, like most other decks there are many ways to use them, and when you see custom cards introduce another way it's just that much better. Jasper Crane is the highlight for me, not really for its effect, but mostly for the beatstick value. Considering that double-KO is a good tactic in CBs, generally, Crane has great value in taking down those annoying 1900ers. Link to comment
