Death Metal Posted July 13, 2010 Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 <3 Hellhammer... and the various bands that ensued from the creators of it (Celtic Frost, Triptykon, Apollyon Sun). They weren't really pioneers of Death Metal though, they were just major influences. They did, however, help in the creation and formation of Black Metal. Which is just as good in my books.
