Nix was quiet, worried. she made her way over to Cristal and wrapped her arms around the girl. "Are you okay... I'm so sorry I couldn't help..." Nix was litterally crying at the sight of the battered and bruised Cristal. How could she let this happen. She was a failure as a friend. And if she couldn't protect the girl, she'd be a worse failure as a girlfriend. How could I let this happen? How didn't I see it comming and sneak her out of here before those guys did this? I'm a horrid friend...

Morgan walked over to the two girls, one heavily bruised, the other looking even worse than the one who was hit, like she'd lost something very precious to her and was just realizing how bad it was. She thought about comforting one or the other, but thought better of it and instead punched the guy who had caused the pain. She was coarse and insensitive with words, but it didn't mean she couldn't kick ass.

"I'm fine..I'm used to it.."Cristal faked a smile and hugged her back. She was used to being hit and beat like that. The kids in the orphange pretty much did the same thing. Cristal looked at her after pulling away. "Don't worry I will be fine." She kept faking a smile. Her face hurt but she ignored it. She walked off to find ice. When she found some she put it on her face where she had been hit. Cristal went back to Nix with the ice on her. She still kept faking a smile.

Tommy looked on in shock as Morgan walked back out, blood on her fist, and took her place in the side seat of the Torino. She cracked her knuckles before looking fake-sweetly at Tommy. "Sorry about that, honey. Step on it, will you? I want to get home before Willis starts to miss me." She looked at him expectantly as he turned beet red. The only response he could come up with was, "Wipe that off before you touch the car."

Vallen sighed at seeing the sad girl and walked off to the food table as the girl was comforted by another girl and walked away.

"Well at least that's over with... still maybe I should've stepped in and punched that guy instead. Why did I have to just break it up?"

Vallen reached the food stand and starting stuffing his face with whatever meat they had and drinking medium-sized cups of soda. As soon as Vallen had enough, he stood up and walked around a little bit. When he spotted the large guy that had defended the strange girl from the tourists at the beach, he walked up and tapped him on the shoulder, "Hello, good to meet you." Vallen stuck out his hand, "I saw you defend that girl on the beach, would you mind telling me who she is?" Vallen said pointing at her.

Jecht couldn't believe what that guy did. I guess the best he could do was to beat on a girl. Even then she whacked him pretty hard. He thought walking toward the door and he could she the guys walking off through the window. "I'll get him next time." He said to himself. Well, this party was a bust. A fight, underage drinking, just like every party. He thought to himself returning back to the heat of the party. He was thinking about ditching the place for the beach. The sun was still up and the waves looked great. "Maybe I can get some surfing in tomarrow." He muttered to himself.

Then the food vendor walked up to him. Jecht shook his hand. "And I saw you save her from a watery grave. Her name's Cristal, she works at the rental shop. Surfboards, stuff like that. But that's really as far as I know her." He glanced back over at Cristal who was with some other girl now. "I'm Jecht by the way."

Nix was used to fake smiles. "You don't need to lie to me, Cristal, I know what it's like, after I came out, I mean, told everyone that I was bisexual, I used to get beat up like that almost every day. I know how horrible it feels." Nix still had tears in her eyes, she still felt a guilt over not sneaking Cristal away when she first saw those...monsters, come in. Why the funk did I let this happen! That poor girl! I'm a terrible person! I could have helped her! As that though crossed her mind, she cried more, she looked down cast, and spoke in a voice barely louder then a whisper. "I'm a horrible friend."

Cristal went to get a drink. She didn't know she picked up some alchol. Cristal took a sip and thought it tasted funny. She took another sip and stayed near Nix. She had had enough exictment for the night. Cristal kept drinking her funny tasting drink. She was hoping they would leave her alone from now on. If they didn't would she hit him again? Why did they bother her in the first place? What did they want with her? Cristal stayed quiet as she drank her drink. "Don't cry. Its not your fault." she hugged Nix.

Tommy's Gran Torino came to a creaky halt as he stopped in front of Morgan's grape-colored house, Willis waiting expectantly at the doot. She thanked him while rubbing her hand with a napkin and ran to pick up Willis, nuzzling him as the little dog grinned. Tommy sighed as he drove off.

A few minutes later, Tommy parked his Torino in front of Eddie's house, disembarking as Rudolph ran up to Tommy. He pet the happy puppy rather absently before heading into his uncle's house. Eddie must be on one of his little 'escapades, he thought. Tommy slid up the stairs and fell into bed. Rudolph cuddled up with a book-literally-and fell asleep on Tommy's floor. All's crap that ends crap, I guess.

Vallen shook Jecht's hand

"My name's Vallen, odd name but I prefer it to my birth name." Vallen then looked at Jecht quizically, "I'm not interested in letting her know that I saved her, in fact I'm asking you to do me a favor. If she ever asks you about who saved her, tell her it was the lifeguard or somebody. No praise or thank yous should be owed, I did it because I was in the right place and my conscience would nag me for the rest of my life if I didn't"

Nix didn't realise what Cristal was drinking straight away. had she been aware she wouldn't have let her drink it. "Just tell me honestly, are you okay?" Nix had stopped crying, but only barely, the guilt was still eating her alive. she saw the bruises starting to form on Cristal's beautiful face... the furry that rose up in side her was hard to hide, but she managed. barely managing her own fake frown, as opposed to an angry grimace. She needed to know that the girl would be okay. God only knows what she was going to do to those boys if this ever happened again.

Cristal nodded and finished her drink. "I'll be fine." She picked up another one and started to drink it. The drink actually started to taste very good. Cristal wondered what it was she was drinking. She looked at Nix and nodded again. "I will be perfectly fine." Her head started to hurt and her sight started to blur. Cristal didn't understand what was going on. She just kept drinking the drink. She put her hand on the table to hold herself up.

Jecht nodded at Vallen. "If you say so but tell me this. Why?" he was a little confused at Vallen favor. It sounded more like one of the heroes from a comic book, heroic and modest. He didn't know anybody wouldn't want a little recgonition for what they did. Jecht glanced back outside the window tto see if he could catch sight of the bully tourists. Luckily he couldn't see anything.

"Wait a minute... Don't drink that!" Nix started to realise what was going on. Oh no... She probably doesn't know what's going on, there's no way she's ever been drunk before. She smelt it on Cristal's breath when she said she would be perfectly fine. "You're tipsy, uh, starting to get drunk. We should get you home, or to my house, wherever, somewhere for you to sleep the night, you're not in a good state. This is really bad." What a day this girl's had... We'd better get her home... but those guys... She started to call out over the sounds of the party. "Is anyone with a licence sober enough to drive?"

Vallen paused for a moment while Jecht looked around a little bit and then spoke, "I don't think she should thank me for what I did. Even if she did find out, I'd probably say we're even. That guy that she punched nearly gave me a concussion while she was running away from them and if she hadn't already, I'd have punched him myself. Now then, if you want the credit you can tell her you saved her the first time. I wouldn't mind and she has someone to thank to put her mind at ease, that would be perfectly fine by me." Vallen smiled and walked past Jecht to the food table once more.

OoC: Dude you can't just skip time whenever you want. The rest of us are actually roelplaying instead of skipping through.

IC: "Whatever." Jecht said as Vallen walked away. He heard someone call out if some who was sober could drive. Some drunk needs a ride home. He thought but the request fired up his emotions. He wished he had a car. He could drive but he was still saving up for a car of his own. He pasted his driver's test but his parents said he wanted a car he'd have to earn it. Jecht could understand that he needed to work for what he wanted in life. It looked like it was maybe 8:30-9:00 and the sun was setting. He wanted to try out night-surfing this summer. He was always taught never to try it. The lifeguard weren't on watch at night and it was too dark for anyone to see you if you went down. "Maybe I'm just being stupid." He muttered at the thought of night-surfing.

OOC:

I do hope that no one has left the party yet, from what I've read it looks as though just about everyone has ended up at the huricane party. So, I'm just gonna go from there, assuming everyone is still at the party and it's only aobut nine O' clock.

IC:

Samuel was growing impatient. He had asked the people who had been in his band when he was younger to be here over an hour ago. Now they were late and he was afraid that people were losing interest in the party. He was standing alone on the proch, leaning against a collum that held his porch roof up, smoking a 'grap-flavored' cigarette. It didn't really taste like grape, at least not to him. If anything, it made the cigarette taste worse. But the smoke smelled delightful.

"DAmn it sand-man, you had better have a damn good escuse for being late..."

A white van and a red ferarri pulled up beside Tommy's new car. Sand man walked out of the van, a huge smile on his face.

"What up my man?"

"Did you get everyone?"

"I got everyone my man and more."

"Waht do you mean?"

"I brought my own steel drum band man, and a saxaphone player for you, since you don't know how to play. And a normal drum player to add a little spice to the mix."

Samuel couldn't help but smile. Later or not, he was very helpful tonight.

"Get the stuff inside Sand-man, these people are falling asleep!" SAmuel turned and practicully ran inside where his guests where mainly moping around. "I know it's been a horrible hurrican e party so far," Samuel called out to everyone in a cheap Jamcian accent. "But don't worry, Uncle Sammy finally got everything we wanted and more man! We got a steel drum band as well as my own here tonight and we're gonna be playing all sorts of bumpin' music! So make way from the door so we can get these beasts in!"

Angie walked into the party, it was as simple as that. She had no clue whose party it was, some random stranger just asked her to come to a party, so she did. When she walked into the party, she heard somebody ask if they had a liscense and was sober. Angie didn't volunteer-- she was too young anyway, and besides, she had just gotten to the party-- she didn't want to leave just yet. Angie was just sitting on some seat quietly for a while. It asn't like her at all to not be doing anything, she really didn't even remember the last time she was actually quiet.

"Place you steel drums in the music room Sand-man, and when you're done with that, get the boys and girls together for some old fashioned school yard fun!"

"Yeah man!" Sand-man called out, brining the largest of his steel drums through the door.

For the next few minutes, people and instruments where carried and hauled through the door. Some wher eplaced in the music Room, but the one's that Samuel was going to use he had placed on the stairs, after telling people to either stay up or down stairs while the band was playing.

"Sand man!"

"Yeah man?"

"Where's my mic?"

"Did you chek the music room man?"

"Yeah!"

"How about next to the cello?"

"Where is it?"

"On the stairs man!"

"Thanks Sandy."

SAmuel headed up to the top of the stairs where the Cello had been placed and found that the mic was laying next to it, hooked up to a set of speekers just bellow it. He picked it up, tapped it twice to make sure it was working, then said, "Will the School Yard Children please report to the stair case? It's time to get wild!"

Vallen paused from his plate of food to look up to where the band was getting ready to play, "Perfect, maybe loud music will give the crowd another reason to fight. Tourists plus loud music always equals trouble." Vallen finished his meal and started walking around. Unfortunately, Vallen's foot moved and hit something squishy. Unexpecting it, Vallen lifted his foot up and lost his balance. He fell backwards with his head smashing into something squishy on the table and the rest of his body driving down to the floor. Disoriented, Vallen lifted his head to see that he had accidently caused the table to fold downwards and put his hand behind his head and tasted what his head had smashed into. "Great, Blueberry pie"

As Vallen tried to get up, and kick his feet to get rid of some of the mashed food that had flown from the table, Vallen accidently kicked a stray potato and sent it flying at a girl that had entered recently and was sitting down.

Samuel looked over at the sound of the crashing table and frowned.

"Man, look what you did..." Then he saw what was now on the ground and got a little aggitated. He lifted the microphone and asked, "Who here brought the blue berry pie?"

"I did!" shouted a female's voice.

"Who said that?"

"Tigerr!"

"Tigeer? Man, why did you have to bring the blue berry pie you know I hate the stuff!"

"Jsut because you hate it don't mean everyone hate it!"

"If I hate it the party hates it! It's tradition!"

"Says who?"

"Says me!"

"Get over it!"

"Tigerr, get up here, you helping me sing tonight!"

"Say what?"

"You heard me get up here!"

Tigerr, a young black woman of about twenty nine groaned and headed for the stairs.

"Hey yo sand man!"

"Yeah?"

"The School Yard Children ready?"

"Yeah man!"

"Get 'em up here!"

Sand man snapped his fingers and said, "You got it man!"

Samuel smiled, already forgetting about the broken table and looked out at the crowd.

"Hey! Can I get everyone's attention please?"

Cristal held onto Nix. She didn't know how it happened. She was trying to make her head stop spinning first before she started to think anymore. Everything looked so different than before. She couldn't tell where she was. Cristal wanted it to stop. Her head was hurting so much. She didn't let go of Nix as she stood there. She heard her call for a driver. Where were they going? What were they going to do? Cristal kept her head down on Nix's shoulder with her eyes closed hoping that would help.
