Samuel watched Morgan and Tommy go, still holding the dollar in his hand. He smiled, shook his head, and said to himself after sighing, "I hope he has his drivers licence." After that, Samuel shrugged, walked back into his house, walked out the front door, went to the back of his house where his 1960's style fire bird awaited him.

"There's my baby," he said, walking up and stroking the hood. The usually black fire bird had been painted over white, while the body it self was a black with white Tribal style tattoo markings along the side and back. On the hood, mixing with the white of hte fire bird, he had made it look as it it's wings were creating the northern lights, which flowed up the hood, onto the roof and faded out on the back of the care.

"Now this," Samuel said to himself, smiling at the words that Tommy had used to describe his new car, is a beast of a car." Samuel leaned down and kissed the hood.

"And she's about to take me on an alcohol run. Come on girl!"

Samuel opened the door, got into the drivers seat, and started the engine, which roared to life as if driving was the greatest thing that could ever happen to a man.

"Ah, listen to my baby pur," Samuel said, getnly pettin gthe dash board. "Let's go show you off baby."

Nix opened her arms, as if to hug Cristal again, her mind was quiet, she was stunned. She hoped the girl would reciprocate. She hadn't been rejected. Infact, Cristal was flattered, if not interested. This was the best thing that could possibly have happened in this situation. The smile on Nix' face was the biggest she could muster without hurting herself. Once again, she looked her new friend, and possibly more, up and down, taking in her imense beauty. Her petite frame, her long, sparkling white hair, her soft eyes. Nix loved her eyes, she felt as though she could spend forever trying to find her way away from those beautiful orbs. Nix said nothing, she was too surprised to think, much less speak.

Cristal hugged Nix. Just thinking about the past wanted to make her cry. But she kept herself from crying. Cristal just hugged her wanting to know what it was like. Her first hug. Nix was warm even though she was wet from swimming. Cristal liked the feeling. To be in someone's arms. To have someone care about you. She liked it all.

Nix couldn't help but run her finger's through Cristal's hair during the hug. It felt so amazing. It was like Cristal was experiencing this for the first time, in her eagerness, and yet she just felt so...cuddly, for lack of a better word. It was perfect. Nix felt like crying tears of joy. She felt like she could hold Cristal forever. However, she finally did break her hold, after what felt like an age, she was blushing, she was smiling uncontrolably, it was like paradice entirely within a girl's arms. "So...we know how I feel, what about you?" Nix was hoping that maybe Cristal felt the same way about her. and even after this experience, there was still only a small chance of that in Nix' mind, although that chance was growing fast.

Tommy drove the Gran Torino through the streets of Spring Beach, receiving a few comments of "nice car!" and angering and being chased by a familiarly rotund watermelon salesman. Eventually, the car made a stop at Morgan's very purple house. "I'll pick you up for the Hurricane party at Samuel's, okay?" After Morgan nodded, Tommy zoomed off, blowing Morgan's chestnut brown hair up for a second. Willis nuzzled her leg and barked something. Morgan looked at the little white furball on her leg and grinned. "Yeah, I like him too."

*Time Skip*

Morgan waited outside her door, eventually seeing the telltale shape and blue front of Tommy's Torino. He opened the side door as he reached the house. "Let's do this."

Samuel, at the liqour store, bought full cases of almost every kind of alcoholic beverage there was. Beer, wine, whiskey, wine coolers for Tommy and his lady friend Morgan, since they were underage and all, but his two favorites by far were the Mike's and the Green Apple Pucker.

The cashier looked at Samuel and said, "So uh... how you gonna pay for all of this?"

"Witha credit card if you don't mind," Samuel said, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a gold credit card.

"No, that'd be fine..."

-Later at his house, around six thirty-

Samuel had gotten all of the beverages stored away, and now it was time to go get teh food. Oh what fabulous food he would make...

Suddenly, his cell phone rang. Samuel hated his cell phone, but he didn't mind admitting that it had it's uses every now and then. He walked over to where it was and picked it up.

"Yellow?"

"Yo what up man?"

"Sand-Man! You got some guests?"

"Yeah man, I got some people that'll make it island style."

"Careful now, we don't want any deaths on the Island do we?"

"No man, here on the Island nobody dies, we're too high to notice."

Both Samuel and Sand-Man laughed at that.

"Oh Sand man, you are a delight. So you got the guests all ready right?"

"Jsut about man, I'm puttin up that banner taht we made two years back."

"You what? You still have that old thing?" Samuel asked, already heading out the door of his house to his car to go pick up some food.

"Yeah man, I'm hanging it up at the beach for all the little kiddies to see."

"Bravo sand man, bravo. I'll see you tonight alright?"

"Yeah man!"

-At the beach-

Sand man unfolded the banner he had kept form two years back and hung it up against some telephone poles. the banner proclaimed (and I'm sorry I don't have the knowledge to make this look awesome on here)

Hurricane Party At the Watermellon House!

Bring your friends, aunts, ucles, pegasus' and small fleshy fish things, The Hurricane party's about to begin and you're all invited! Head for the Watermelon house, if you're a local you'll know what that means.

"That ought to do it man."

(this is mainly an invitation for Yae and Cristal, just to get everyone active I mean and as far as I know, they're the only ones still on)

Tommy's Gran Torino parked smoothly near its old master's house. The new owner of the car exited it alongside Morgan. Tommy adjusted his glasses-he has lost a contact earlier and was forced to wear these to see-and looked up at the very watermelon-looking house. "Looks like we're the first one's here. C'mon, Samuel's waiting for us." Morgan forced Tommy up the stairs by his hand and rung the doorbell expectantly.

"Hey, wait up, can I walk you back to the shop?" Maybe I should just leave her be... but as usual, this thought came seconds too late. She'd made a commited offer now. and she was gonna have to stick with it. It wasn't that she didn't want to walk her back to the shop it was more that she was afraid she was over-doing things. She apprihensively made her way toward Cristal, understanding that she had a lot on her mind. "Y'know, it's okay if you wanna walk back alone, but we should see eachother again some time. Maybe we could see a movie, or have dinner or something?

*time skip to seven thirty!*

"Be right with ya!" Samuel called from where he was at the stove, cooking the things that would be eaten tonight. He had replaced his black dress shirt with a purple apron with red fuzz around hte edges and was currently stirring a large pot filled with Tortilini. On the other three burners were marinara sauce, a large pan cooking his own recipe of spice chiken, and the last one cooking hamburbers. Samuel put down the wooden spoon he was stirring with and headed for the front door. He opened it and smiled, seeing it was Tommy.

"Tommy and lady friend! Glad to see ya. How the car treatin ya? Come on in!"

"Okay. Sounds good." Cristal smiled. She thought that Nix was just trying to be friendly. Cristal thought a movie or dinner would be nice. She had never done that before. So it sounded like fun. She smiled at the thought of it. Cristal kept walking back toward the shop. She was still happy about her being able swim.

Nix headed back toward the town, the sand benief her feet, blending with, then eventually being entirely replaced by concrete. She wasn't really watching where she was going, no. Her mind was on lovely Cristal. her eyes were closed as she sighed. Maybe my luck's starting to turn, this girl's incredi- Arms out, break your fall. Nix had tripped, she managed to get her arms agaisnt a telephone pole, preventing her fall, she opened her eyes to see this. The pole, and the one adjacent to it had a large banner hanging between them. Hurricane Party, at Watermelon House? Well, I've got nothing better to do, and maybe She'll be there. Nix started on her way back home.

*Time skip*

Nix, wearing her usual red gothic attire, complete with stocking and skull choker arived outside watermelon house. She knocked on the bizzare building's front door. She was brimming with excitment from the day, in conjunction with such for the party. She hadn't really made many friends around here but this party had the potential to change that big time.

"Oh, hold on just one second you cats and panther," Samuel said to Tommy and Morgan. "I've got antoehr guest. Tommy! I gave you a car today, make sure nothing I'm cooking burns understand?" Withoutwaiting for an answer, Samuel turned back to the door and opened it to find a woman standing in red leather. He looked her up and down with one eye brow cocked, not entierly sure what to think.

"I assume you're here for the Hurricane Party?"

"I am. Name's Nichole Higgins, call me Nix. Sorry y'don't know me, I'm new in town, moved in from Arizona a couple weeks ago." She said introducing herself curtiously, She shook her head a bit, as the dyed-blue portion of her hair began to iritate her. "So, what's the deal with this 'Hurricane Party' stuff, I haven't been here long enough to really know what the deal is... I just figured it'd be a pretty standard party, really."

"yeah, I can tell from your accent that you ain't from the Treme," saMuel said, seeing the blue in her hair. "Well, a Hurricane party only happens when it's hurriacne seaons. Normally, people wait ti'll right before or during a hurricane to have one, but I'm starting a little early this year for the hell of it. But yeah, it's prety much your standard party. However, I am not your standard party thrower. So we're gonna have one hell of a time here in the Treme. Come on in Red Robbin, make yourself at home, eat some chips or popcorn or something, warm food will be done before too long I suspect. Just wait until then." Samuel moved to the side and waved his hand to the inside of Watermelon House. "And if you're old enough we got beverages too, I won't let you ahve any if you'r eunderage though, so best be telling the truth about your age now. Come here alone did you?" Samuel asked as he turned inside himself, keeping the door propped open with one of his shoes, which he had taken off.

Cristal finished with work and sighed with relief. She could go home now. She changed in the back and then locked up the shop. She put the key back in her pocket. No one seemed to be around at the time. She started walking home. Cristal walked down the street staring at the ground. She didn't notice that the guys from earlier were on the same street. They spotted her and started to laugh. Cristal was too lost in thought to notice.

"Well... I didn't bring anyone. But I am hoping someone'll turn up. Probably won't happen though." Yep, back to my old self again... So much for a new outlook. She made her way in and looked around. "I'm Seventeen, so I guess I won't be drinkin' tonight, but that's cool, my head's messed up enough when I'm sober." She wasn't even joking. She had a profound inhability to think positively. an amazing knack for putting her foot in her mouth. and an uncontrolable attraction to a girl who didn't even know what Bisexuality was until she'd been told recently.

Tommy had walked in a few minutes ago with Morgan and was now curiously looking at the goth-looking chick at the door. "Never seen her before. Guess she saw Sand Mawn's banner at the beach. Oh well, hey! Name's Tommy." He turned to Samuel. "Car's working great. I took it for a spin after Morgan went home, and the engine works like a charm. Thanks, Sam, great car there. Wonder which car you used to beat it.

Nix turned toward the door again, to face the host as she walked by... but no, she did instead see a distressed Cristal approaching the doorway. "That's her now..." she said, continuing her sentence from before, then pushing her way outside. She looked at the panting, exhausted, distraught girl. "What happened? Are you okay!?" Nix was alarmed, this wasn't good... "Come inside, it's warm, and safe..." She turned back to the boy. "This is Cristal, she'll be joining the party if that's okay..."

Cristal looked at Nix. She was still trying to catch her breath. SHe was hoping she lost the boys. Cristal wasn't used to running and she had never slapped anyone before. She was hoping they don't find her. She didn't want to find out what would happen. She couldn't believe she had actually hit the boy. And he was way bigger than her.

Vallen had just been wandering the alleyways, it was boring and he had little to do. Suddenly a girl ran past him as he exited the alleyway, the same girl that he'd grabbed from the water. He stepped out of the alleyway and watched as the girl ran down the sidewalk, "Wonder why she's in such a ru.." Vallen was suddenly shoved out of the way as a few boys ran shouting at the girl and he slammed into a garbage can.

Jecht had his day teaching the girl how to surf. Her name was Britney. She was an okay girl. but she was 'just another tourist' as Jecht referred to her. She was attractive though, he'd give her that. He was at his house, his parents were gone out for some romanctic date on the beach, they did it alot during the summer. He was looking at himself in the mirror and messing with his hair. Jecht heard someone was throwing a party. A "Hurricane Party". It was being thrown by some local who had been there for maybe a year. He thought about going, maybe it'd be fun. Then again he thought about going back out to the beach and to get a few more good waves in while the surfing was good.

Cristal stayed close to Nix. She didn't want those guys to find her. She was glad she was near Nix. All the times they went after her she was alone. The guys stop and look around. "Where did she go?! She's going to pay for slapping me!" He said. They kept looking around for her. "She could be at that party." One of the guys said. "Maybe. " Another agreed. "Let's go check it out. " The guy she slapped and that had thrown her in said. They started heading off to the party.

Vallen had just gotten up when he heard, "..be at that party". As soon as he heard that, Vallen staggered upwards and regained his balance. "Stupid tourists, I'll rip their lungs out!!" Vallen looked at his dirty shirt and set out, "Where is this party they mentioned? I'll find them and personally kill them." Careful not to get too angry, Vallen took a deep breath and once again began wandering around town, looking for any sign of a party.
