"Pounding? Oh... Sorry. That might have been me running up stairs, someone was in the down stairs bathroom last night." Nix finished up the pancakes, turned the pan off, and made her way over to the table where she poured them each more juice. and divided the pancakes evenly amongst them. "Do you wanna use the phone and let your parents know you're at a friend's house? It's probably better that you don't tell them much about me, or last night. parents don't wanna hear that thier daughter got drunk at a party, got beat up, and ended up sleeping at her bisexual friend's house. They tend to get edgey about that sort of thing."

"No...I will just head home after work. They aren't worried. " Cristal sounded down when she said that. She stayed quiet. Cristal stared at the food but didn't touch it. She still felt sick. She didn't say anymore. She stared at her glass wondering how much longer she would take before getting to work. She needed to hurry but said nothing. Cristal just sat there in silence. She didn't say a word as she sat there. She still didn't touch her food or drink.

"Cristal? Are you okay?" The silence felt awkward, and Nix was afraid she'd touched on a sore spot, she didn't touch her food either. God damn it Nix, what've you done this time. You know this girl's lead a hard life and has a crappy relationship with her parents. You funking idiot! Cristal looked away, out of the window, the upset obvious in her body language was obvious. She spoke in a teary, down-cast voice, as a single tear started to well up in her eye. "I'm so sorry..." She was good at doing things like that. She felt like a terrible friend.

Cristal looked at her food. She slowly started to eat. Every once in a while she would drink some juice. When she was done she looked at the clock. She knew she had to go soon. She looked at Nix. "I am sorry...I need to get to work..The food and drink is really good. " She stood up. Cristal felt better after eating. She started to think of what she could do today. She wanted to keep reading that book. She had just got to a good part in it. Cristal really liked the story Thumblina she was reading. It was really good.

Vallen huffed and weazed as he ran as fast as he could, pushing several others walking on the pavement out of the way only to turn around and yell, "Sorry". He reached the stand just in time and set out doing his daily routine jobs. While he worked, he could hear small jeers and laughter coming from several customers. He'd been humiliated after the party having to walk home while dripping several food items. Several of the tourists who'd been at the party came up with colorful nicknames for him and would not leave him alone.

OoC: Introducing my secondary. his app was accepted.

IC:Leif parked his old pick up truck near a stall on at the beach where a girl with white hair was working. He looked at the instuments in the back, The electric harp or his guitar, he couldn't very well busk with the drums, or the keyboard, and he couldn't play the sax well enough. He thought about it and the Harp was probably not right for the situation. he plugged his guitar into the sound-system of the ute, which would function as an amp. He slowly started to play. The song was

He looked out of place there with his strangely cut blonde hair and his white jeans with the rainbow striping. his skull shirt too. Then again, Leif looked out of place everywhere. Most people steered totally clear of him but he did make about 85 cents quickly.

Listening to the sound of the music Alex ran towards the music. There he saw a guy playing. He looked lonely. Alex picked up a guitar thinking about the battle of the bands he won at which used to be home. He looked at Leif with a smile. "Do you like Journey?" ALex picked up a microphone witha curious look then looking at Leif again "Kiss, aerosmith,Bon Jovi, or do you like stuff more modern?"

Leif looked at the guy. "Name's Leif and well, let this answer your question. You can do vocals if you want." Lief started to play Bon Jovi's "Have A Nice Day" He looked at the guy holding the mic... This was epic but it was also the last thing he expected. A few people had started to come round and there was about $3 in the guitar case. Wow... This is progress. I like this town. Not like Jersy. Leif looked at the guy waiting for him to sing. Lief was enthusiastic. He was feeling the energy, nodding his head and tapping his feet.

Alex began to sing.

"Why you wanna tell me how to live my life?" "Who are you to tell me if its black or white?" "Mama can you hear me? Try to understand, is innocense the difference between a boy and a man?" "My daddy lived a lie, its just a price he paid. Sacrificed his life, just slavin away."

The vocals were great, Leif was feelin' it. There was a few people gathering now. Leif's 'bizzare' look was undermined by the music, it was great. The music echoed up the beach. the $5 bill fluttered down into the guitar case, Lief continued to play. "Thanks man" he said with a nod his voice heard by the man barely over the sound of the guitar. Man what's the deal with this town. the money's fallin' outta nowhere vocalists run up to ya and start playin' no questions asked... Crazy! Even Leif knew his plan to drive across the country with a pick-up full of instruments trying to put together a band was crazy, but hell, in this town it might even work.

Alex was in another world but then saw the money thinking "I have got my job, no a career!"

He sang some more.

"Ooh, if there's one thing I hang onto That gets me through the night" "I ain't gonna do what I don't want to" "I'm gonna live my life"

"Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice" "Standing on the ledge, show the wind how to fly

When the world gets in my face" "I say, have a nice day" "Have a nice day!"

Cristal barely made it to work in time. She was glad she wasn't late. She started working once away. Her heart was racing and her stomach was full. Cristal knew she had to face her parents when she got home. She did her job with a smile even though it was fake. She hadn't see those guys in all day so she was hoping it would stay that way. She didn't want to have to face them especally after last night. Her knuckles were a bit bruised from hitting him as hard as she did.

Jecht watched as Alex ran off and began singing with a random guy, with very strange clothing. Dude's crazy. Jecht thought looking back at the mirror, getting frustrated with his hair. He couldn't seem to get it exactly right. Why do I even care. Jecht thought, but continued to mess with it. It'll be ruined once it gets wet. HE looked up to see if Britney was there yet. The beach was filling up and he couldn't see her. "I'll give her five minutes." He muttered to himself.

Alex sang his heart out. Watching a 20 dollar bill hit the guitar case.

"Take a look around you, nothing's what it seems, We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams. Let me be the first to shake a helping hand, Anybody brave enough to take a stand. I knocked on every door down every dead end street, Looking for forgiveness and what's left to believe?"

Vallen stood in the freezer, picking up a heavy pack of hamburger meat and walking back to the stand. Suddenly Vallen felt a hand push from his back and he went falling on the ground with the hamburger meat falling out of the box. Vallen turned around on the floor to see his worst enemy from school, Michael. Michael had been the bane of Vallen's existence since 8th grade, and when Vallen got a job at the food stand, Michael hadn't been long to follow suit and reveled in making Vallen's day miserable.

"Me? What did I do, its not my fault you're clumsy and tripped on your own feet. You better get to cleaning that up Vallen, or else the boss will fire you and you'll have to find another job elsewhere." Michael said with a sneer. With what tolerance and restraint Vallen had left, he threw the hamburger meat that he'd spilt onto the floor into the trash and walked back to the stand, constantly looking behind him.

Not too far behind Cristal, Nix followed suite. She held the goggles Cristal had left behind, she rounded the corner and saw Cristal. She approached with a look of genuine concern on her face. She'd seemed 'off' this morning. Nix' listened to the sound of Have a Nice Day, playing nearby. She saw who was play, a local guy who she'd seen around before, she gathered that his name was Alex. With the guitarist being...strange. She'd never seen him before. she rummaged in her pocket and threw a lot of small-change into the case. She continued her walk toward Cristal. when she arived she leaned against it and spoke. "'Ello again, gorgeous. I was wondering, do you wanna go swimming during your break? I bought your goggles."

"Hey. Sure. Okay. I don't have much longer til my first break." Cristal was reading her book again. She really loved how it had faries and how the girl was in love with the prince and the price loved her. And how he wasnt going to give up until he found her. Cristal was nearly in the middle of the book. She loved it so much it was hard to put it down. She put it down when people came up. She had put it down when Nix started to talk to her. She smiled.

Nix found it funny that Cristal was reading a fairy tale, but not in a bad way, in a sweet, lovely, semi-ironic way. I wish I could be her prince...Well close enough. The thought's mix of sorrow and humour made Nix giggle aloud slightly. "Oh, sorry. something funny just came to mind..." Nix stared into Cristal's eyes, wishing she could see the love that she was sure Cristal would see in hers. She breathed a heavy sigh as a group of younger girls, early teenagers, approached the counter. Nix moved asside to let Cristal do her job.

Alex R. had fallen asleep at the party, after being smacked in the face with a whiskey bottle. He awoke to a daze. He then saw Alex, & proceeded to choke him. "WHY DID YOU SMASH A WHISKEY BOTTLE IN MY *Beep*ING FACE?!" He yelled in his face, proceeded to slap him, then flip him off. It was only natural someone would be that mad after a Whiskey Bottle to the face. He slammed his head in the ocean water & came back up. "Ah. Sorry Alex #2 for flipping out & you off." He climbed up a random grapevine & got his surfboard. He, as usual, knocked over the Lifeguard seat in his landing.

Cristal helped the customers out and when they left she looked back at Nix. "I am sorry about last night. I should have been more careful." Cristal told her. She felt bad about it all. "Thank you for helping me. YOu didn't have to." Her boss wasn't coming around today like he did yesterday. She picked up her book and sat back on the stool. She didn't think it was soft but it was better than standing the whole time. Cristal didn't start reading she just looked at Nix.

Jecht looked up from his mirror again to look for Britney. He couldn't see her anywhere. "Oh well." Jecht said flipping the large sign on the top of the shack to "OPEN!" and threw his mirror into his bag. He grabbed his board and began to apply his surfboard wax. He looked out to anyone who would come close. He asked the people who came on the beach if they'd like a lesson. Admittedly, he asked the girls more often, and he got the same answer every time. 'No.'. "Surfing isn't out of style yet." He encouraged himself.

"I had to help you Cristal... What kind of friend would I be if I just left you?" Admittably, the last thing on Nix' mind was friendship, but she knew Cristal must have been thinking differently. "And I'll be honest. You know how I feel about you, I could never leave someone I feel that way about in danger, I had to help you and that's pretty much all there is to it in my mind. If you love someone, you're there to protect them, and to help them in any way possible."
