Anime-Only cards in the TCG

Meh, I have less of a beef if it's cards that there's a considerable chance of ever existing in TCG or coming out for it soon but it's getting pretty damn frequent recently.

[super broken Anime Only Card]

"What would it be like if it were released in TCG?"

"Uhh... super broken, durrr?"

There's really no reason for these discussions, since they're not at all thought provoking (especially when cards are so obviously super broken) and the card is never going to come out anyway.

... Just my $.02

Eh. I remember when it wasn't tolerated, but to be fair. Not ALL anime cards are clear on balance, some are fun and some are retarded. If it generates discussion, why not? However, if it becomes a problem then limiting them would be valid.

yes but it's nice to have those what-if moments. also not all anime cards are broken

Very rarely do we discuss a not-broken anime or manga card. I mean' date=' yeah your Zombie Fox thing was alright but then people are like "derp, how about this card that summons Absolute Zero and FGD at no cost?" and "Derp, how about this card that summons 2x more monsters of the same attribute in the age of Synchros?"

It's supposed to be TCG Discussion. There's really not much to discuss for topics like "who's the best duelist in 5D's?" or "is super broken card super broken?"

The cards that aren't balanced are unplayable IRL. The cards that are balanced and playable are few and far between. As for generating discussion they typically don't, or at least not worthwhile discussion.

Define what "becomes a problem" is, if you please.

Not everyone posts like you "Terrible, next". Some actually like to see some funny uses with them, much like the old useless decrepit cards that aren't really used IRL (like that Yado Kuro topic or whatever). Blatantly overpowered is usually the case anyway, (can be lulzy irl though). So take it in strides.

"Becomes a Problem", means excessive posting of it to the point where actual cards are not being discussed.
