Poseidon©
It might be the other way around, actually. Proof: Read the history section's first paragraph, and notice, the Eyetoy was originated in 1999. Read this article. -_- Anybody else can post proof, I'll add it. OmegaWave
Does anyone even care? I don't. Fact is, Nintendo mass marketed it first. That's all that really matters.

Guest JoshIcy
Hey everybody, the WiiMote is just an evolution of the Light Gun Controller. Which may or may not have originated in Arcades before Duck Hunt. Oh no~
Kiyo
It was based off of the EyeToy? Lol, I have that game... Though the EyeToy is more like Kinect using a camera.
Dr. Cakey
god thot of moshun contrls 1st bcuz he made it so wen ppl moved tehy wud move tahts motoin contorl so god shud sue nitnendo If Sony actually gave a crap, they would have said so four years ago. As it is, it took them those four years to make the same exact thing. Kinect at least is an improvement over existing technology. And I lol at how the Playstation Move controller looks similar to the Wii controller, except it has a ball on the end and different buttons. <___< Does anyone even care? I don't. I guess I should sue both Sony and Nintendo. If you think up an idea, that doesn't do much, or at least I don't think. If you patented motion control as an idea, that's great, but you had no way of implementing it in anything. So you couldn't really say it was motion control, just an idea. But whatever, I thought of piano for Guitar Hero/Rock Band awhile ago. And now I'm pissed. D':

Ideas for motion controls have been around for years. It's only after Nintendo showed that it can work did others start really jumping on the idea. And I really hate how much the Move looks like the WiiMote. I wanna cast some spells.I wish that game was on the Wii. It's one of the few games Sony showed that looked like it could work. Dark
And I really hate how much the Move looks like the WiiMote. Not only that, but the extension Move controller is a copy/pasta + edit of the Nunchuck, the edit being that they added a d-pad. The thing on the right, really. Sure, it's wireless, and that is an improvement, but wayyy too much resemblance. Also, the remote isn't a rectangle, so it can't be a WiiMote copy! Kiyo
Funny how Sony bashes on the 3DS stealing the 3D market, yet Nintendo doesn't even seem bothered by this project.

Dark
It's sad, because the PSP doesn't even have real 3D graphics. The Sony TV thing has glasses-operated 3D graphics. There is nothing to bash Nintendo on for stealing there. :/

I don't even know why their is X and O on both controllers. And the ball is kinda stupid. Maybe they added that so Nintendo don't sue. They are suppose to be way better than the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. If they are, Iam selling my Wii for PS3 + Move.

And yea, from what people have sad the controls are better then the Wii's, but not that much. Also selling your Wii would be stupid. You'll loss out on all it's games all for a system that, odds are, won't make much use of the Move.

Dark
Obviously the controls are better; it is released at a later time, with new technology. When did the Wii come out; 2006? If so, this is a four-year improvement to the Wii, but still doesn't have great games in the Wii's database. However, I feel this accomodates shooters much better than Kinect does. Because the Nunchuck-ripoff can be used to move, and you can point at the screen and shoot people. Or something, idk. But Kinect can't do much with shooters.
