Atomic Nebula Posted July 18, 2010 Report Share Posted July 18, 2010 Akatsuki members usually committed a crime within their Ninja country and were kicked out of their village, their headbands would be gashed with a sword, so outside of their village, people would know that they are Rouge Ninja's. Since they were out in the wild, they would act as bounty hunters, people would pay them to commit a crime. 8 member who were kicked out of their village joined the Akatsuki, and once you joined the Akatsuki, you were a S - Rank criminal. They would then commit crimes, and their names would be placed in the Bingo Book. The Bingo Book is a book that Jounin Ninja's carry around, it has names of criminals that are wanted for certain reasons. Â Hope that clears that void up.
