Age: Roughly 1/2 year.

Gender: Male

Personality: Aiedail is mostly a happy and curious dragon. He can be serious when needed but he's often too excited about things to be serious. He's incredibly curious about every new thing he encounters and always wants to learn more. He asks people a lot of questions and gets impatient if he doesn't get answers too quickly. As might be expected, he's pretty restless and often wants to be doing something. If he has to fight, that's the one time he'll be completely serious and focused. Otherwise, he's generally looking for new things to learn. He's hard to get angry and is often on very good terms with his rider, who is his closest, and usually, only friend. He's never shy and talking with new people is only another part of his curiosity so it's no issue for him. He has no particular drive to help people, and he wouldn't even fight if his rider didn't want him to. For that matter, his rider is the only person he'll do things for.

Bio: Somehow Aiedail managed to remain undetected by anyone as an egg. No one had been able to find him, including Galbatorix. It's still not entirely clear how that happened. Due to his location, again unknown to everyone, Aiedail wasn't able to observe much of what was going on in the world as an egg. Even if he had been able to he probably wouldn't have done much looking. Being the curious type he would have wanted to be part of what he saw, not just an observer. Somehow, about two months before he was hatched, Aiedail's egg was moved from it's incredibly well hidden location and into a place were more people would be able to come across him. Still, while a few people had stumbled across his egg, nothing ever happened, meaning they weren't to be his rider. Eventually his rider did happen to come across his location. He hatched and bonded with his rider. Due to his nature, Aiedail isn't so much concerned with the world but rather his rider. He'll support his rider in whatever he/she does but on his own he'd never volunteer to get involved in wars or the like. The first few months of his life were really interesting as he finally got to explore the world first hand. Aiedail wants to simply learn about the world and everything that goes on in it. He's yet to be formally trained by an older dragon and doesn't seem to show much interest in it. Though if his rider insisted, he'd go through with it. Despite the lack of training, Aiedail is a very fast learner and has gotten the hang of fighting rather quickly. Though fighting another dragon is one thing he has no experience in.

Weapons:

1.) Teeth

2.) Claws

3.) Fire Breathing

Magical power and potential: Dragon Magic - Potential: Limitless - Drawback: Can't be used at will.

Skill with Weapon: The idea of a dragon not being a master of its natural weapons is a bit ridiculous. So a master of all three to be sure.

Other: There is one unique ability that Aiedail possesses. The rider bonded to him gains an incredible fortification around their mind from the moment the Gedwëy ignasia first appears on their hand. This fortification only activates when the Rider moves to defend their mind but when they do the additional support is so strong that it would require a true master magician to even start getting into the rider's mind. Aiedail doesn't control when his magic helps fortify his rider's mind, his rider does when he moves to defend it, but when he is aiding his rider, it becomes harder for him to focus on whatever else he might be doing.

I see that it does. Funny coincidence. I think having a younger untrained (actually just still in training not untrained) rider fits the dragon a bit better as well. So sure, we'll be partners for this RP.

 

Sorry about that Dark Heart. You can try asking ImmortalD as he never responded to anyone. Though PMing him would probably be a bit more effective.

 

Well, it's actually too early for me to be talking as I haven't even been accepted yet.

Personality: Rowan is quiet and observing but will speak his mind when he needs to. He is kind and bonded to his dragon very easily.

Bio: Rowan traveled the land with his family, avoiding danger and keeping a truce with the Varden. Recently they gave up traveling to find a home in the Dwarf kingdom but were intercepted on their way there by a group of urgals. His family and friends were killed, leaving him to live with the nightmare of watching them die. He was left to rot in the forst but was found by a company of dwarfs on their way to the elve's forest. He accomponied them, hoping that he would be able to get trained and be able to fight. He had heard storys of the Dragon Riders when he was a child and could not help going to see it for himself when he heard there was one in the forest. When he found it, he was amazed and touched its smooth surface and he felt a burning sensation in his hand. A strange gold mark had appeared on his hand and soon after the dragon hatched right before him. After realising he was it's rider, he left with him and treated him as his brother. It is the only family he has and is now best friends with his dragon who is called Aiedail

Weapons:

Incredibily sharp, it always appears back in its sheath when it is lost or taken.

Magical power and potential: He is powerful but is still in training, he is ok at all the elements but his best is flame magic.

Skill with Weapon: He is very skilled with a single handed sword, he tends to wield his sword and use magic with his other hand.

It means Blaze in latin, but it could count as the ancient language right?

 

My character wouldn't start with the sword, because he isn't known as a new rider yet. They know that the egg has hatched but not who the rider is. The reason I chose blaze is because later on in the RP, when my character is better trained and known as the new rider, the blade is made and with the ability to turn into pure flames when its name is said, similar to Eragon's sword. The reason it is similar is because it was made by the same sword crafter who made Eragon's sword, who returned to making rider's sword after Eragon's success in defeating Galbortrix.

 

By the way, I have started reading the books again since I applied for this RP =)

I sort of wish I was dragon now, with so many riders to choose from =) but I'm already accepted.

Well I made an app for a Razac and I´m working on an app for a Shade right now since I love playing bad guys and I allways loved how sneaky but very deadly the Razacs were and how utterly awesome Durza and Varaug were in the books (eventhough Varaug was killed almost instantly by Arya after being created).

However due to the lack of dragons, I´m considering to make an app for a dragon instead of a Shade.
