burnpsy
Neg Overload and Future for DD crows or Reign-Beaux or some other anti-meta cards. What decks do you gain advantage over by siding in Boarden' date=' Map, Overload, or Future Fusion?[/quote'] Boarden help bypass Honest in general, among other similar things and anything I don't want to destroy in battle. Map helps stop all decks with field spells. Overload and Future Fusion is an Obelisk stop, essentially. Beaters with more than 3100 ATK are particularly annoying to get by. But if not, side in some anti-meta.Overload and Future Fusion is an Obelisk stop, essentially. Beaters with more than 3100 ATK are particularly annoying to get by.Solemn, Mirror, Bottomless. Map also used to be a last-ditch effort at blocking out nukes, but SLR all but killed those. I suppose removing Map, FuFu and Overload makes sense. As for things that stop heavy beaters, however, I noted Obelisk - it stops me from chaining stuff to its summoning (and I already main Mirror and Bottomless). With Compulsory now mained, however, it sort of is just an Obelisk issue - I can't target him or negate his summon.
Brandon Michael Geren
If you don't win before they can summon Obelisk, you deserve to lose. I never actually took the time to read Obelisk. But Boarden takes care of Obelisk... I don't know about the OCG on the card. I can see how you could argue either way that Bottomless could be used against Obelisk. Could you explain that to me? I thought you mained Solemn. Well, so what's the meta where you play so we can find out what you should add to the side?

Lots of decks can get the fodder within one turn, such as Frogs and Danylion decks. In any case, Obelisk prevents anyone from chaining anything to its summon. No TT, no Solemn, no Bottomless, etc. The meta around my area... pretty much uses what's winning right now with some weird techs, like Obelisk and Herald of Green Light. In any case, yeah - the basic stuff. If I'm not mistaken, current winning decks are: X-SabersInfernitiesGBsFrog VariantsGadget Variants X-Sabers could potentially be stopped by Neko Mane King and Goldd. D.D. Crow and Shadow Imprisoning Mirror can stop Infernities. GBs can be screwed over with Mirror of Oaths and by denying them any battling outright (Boarden :P). Frogs are also handles by D.D. Crow. Gadgets die to Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.

burnpsy
So, it would be something like this? 2x D.D. Crow3x Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World2x Mirror of Oaths1x Morphtronic Boarden3x Neko Mane King2x Prohibition 2 of: 1x Giant Trunade (Macro, Opression)1x Gorz the Emissary of Darkness (Nukes)3x Morphtronic Map (Field Spells)1x My Body as a Shield (Nukes)1x Mystical Space Typhoon (Infernities, Macro, Opression)1x Return from the Different Dimension (Macro)
Brandon Michael Geren
3x D.D. Crow3x Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World2x Mirror of Oaths2x Prohibition1x MBaaS I don't really know what the other 4 should be.
burnpsy
In a way, Neko Mane King is safer than Reign-Beaux (blame SLR and MBaaS). Ending their turn is a lot less likely to be countered. In any case, I need more ways to stop Oppression ans Skill Drain than the limited options my current Main Deck give me. Whenever I face those, the results are disastrous. So perhaps Spell/Trap destruction should fill in the remaining spaces? Also, 2 Extra Deck slots are now opened without Overload being present. Are there any inexpensive things I could add? ASW is an obvious one...

burnpsy
I just looked up the price tags on D.D. Crow and Reign-Beaux. Not pretty. I won't be able to get 3 of them very easily...
