Yu-Gi-Oh - The Raw Tournament[Started][Accepting On OcC Thread]

Alex sat next to Myles and looked at the sun which was setting. "Yeah my cards are ok, it's still sorta hard dueling with random cards." Alex started to relax and looked in his equipment bag for something to eat then realised they would need somewhere to camp out. "Myles, we should find somewhere to camp for the night, its getting dark," he said standing and closing his bag. He could have some food when thay had a place to camp..

[Daxter]

"You know thats probably a good idea, it will be dark in about an hour." Myles stood up and started to walk into the woods. "There is a cliff over looking the ocean this way, I think I'm going to camp out there, you can come with me if you want." Myles walked threw the woods for about 30 minutes and then he found the cliff he was looking for. "Ah here it is." Myles had collected some firewood while walking threw the woods and he started to build a fire and set up his tent, he came well prepared to this tournament.

The man drew a crad Matt was winoing but bearly the effect of giant soldier of stone was quite effective. The man smiled. "I summon! Vorse Raider! (ATK 1900) Now i activate axe of despair Now destroy insect knight." (LP 3000)

 

"Darn" Matt said as the man ended his turn.

 

Matt drew a card and smiled. Looks like im ending this with on eof my most powerful cards.."

"change of heart!" Matt suddenly took control of vorse raider

 

"Ah! No!"

 

"Now i Summon Wolf axewielder!" (ATK 1650) "You actually had me worried! Go direct attacks!"

the man dropped to his knees. "I was so close!"

 

Matt deactivated his duel disk and held his hand out. "Im matt by the way you a-?"

 

The man pushed Matt's hand away and walked off.

Matt began to think that making friends here will be hard.

Shawn walked over to Matt when the duel was finished. "So eh buddy. You want to duel. I am ready to woop your ass. Ha I just wanted to say that. Lets duel." He remembered saying to himself that he would wait but he couldn't help it. He loved to duel and now he was going to show how good he was. "My duel spirit is the Creator." He was ready to duel. He turned on his disk and was ready for Matt to answer.

Shawn walked over to Matt when the duel was finished. "So eh buddy. You want to duel. I am ready to woop your ass. Ha I just wanted to say that. Lets duel." He remembered saying to himself that he would wait but he couldn't help it. He loved to duel and now he was going to show how good he was. "My duel spirit is the Creator." He was ready to duel. Many people tried inviting themselfs to eat some of his food, but he asked them to leave. He didnt want to be rude, but he only had enough food for a while. He looked threw his new deck, and he felt respect for each card. He knew that each and every card would help him get to the finals.

Matt asked as he actiavted his duel disk awaiting his response from the unknown man. "I'm Matt by the way, and you are?" Matt was not nervouse in the slightest he was confident after his previous win and was ready to show what his new Deck could do having great faith in his cards.

Shawn was nervous because it was just his first duel. He saw the last dude get beat badly. He was not going to have the same fate. He was prepared to fight with all his might.

"My master is Silent Swordsman lv 5" Matt said as he began by drawing 5 cards. "I assume you don't mind me going first? Matt said awaiting a response from his opponent. Matt knew silents effect was a very important one as it was quite powerful and would be announced when the duel started. Matt was still not nervouse the excitement of dueling always brought a smile to his face no matter how down he was at the time.

"Go first Matt. I would like it." He couldn't wait. He needed The Creator and it would help him win the duel. He knew that he wanted Matt to bring his master out early and then destroy it. He hated to lose and refused here. He knew people were watching and had to show then this was a duelist they needed to watch out for. He was going to gain lots of respect. He was confident.

"If you insist", Matt said as he drew a card from his Deck. he looked over them briefly stll not used to the cards 100% at thsis point.

 

"I set one monster face down in Defence mode and set 1 card and call it a turn. But before you conduct your first move i'll let you know my deck masters effect, whenever you want to activate a spell card, you have to set it prior to it's ativation, so they're like traps." Matt smiled. "it's your move."

Alex walked round the island, it was still bright with duels even at night. After a while, he became tired and hungry so he followed the path to where Myles said he was staying for the night. After seeing Myles he jogged the last 100 metres and sat next to him opening his bag which had food, drink, equipment and his sleeping bag in it. "Hey Myles, can I stay here with you for the night? I got my own food so theres no need to worry about that," Alex said while opening a can of soup.

"Ok I draw. I summon Zombyra the Dark in attack mode. I then set 2 facedowns and then I will attack your facedown. I will end my turn."

Shawn was ready and not ready. He wanted to win.

"My face down was Charcoal inpachi (DEF2100) so his not destroyed. Also you forgot to mention zombyras effect? if he destroyed my monster he would lose 200 ATK.

 

"My turn anyway. Draw! I Tribute charcoal to Summon Granmarg the Rock Monarch! (ATK/2400) Now his effect i destroy 1 of those face downs! next i set a card face down. Go rock monarch attack!"

"Ha you destroyed my Rush Recklessly. So i chain it and now your monarch is destroyed. You lose 400 and now it's my turn. I draw. Since my Zombrya can't attack directly I summon Giant Rat. It will attack directly. I then will end my turn. Ha ha. I am the one who will win this. I am the best. Na but turn up the heat Matt." He was so excited he almost showed his hand. He was suspicious of his facedowns.

ooc:hmm i dnt kn if i would have stil attacked if i knew i knew ur monster was stronger...i dont know if he should be destroyed??? Beforre i make my move i wanna see what daxter reckons.

Myles welcomed Alex to sit with him. "So Alex tell me about yourself, I mean how long have you been a duelist?" Myles cracked open a bottle of nice cold water and began to drink it down. He was a little worried about running out of supplies on this island, but he knew he would be able to survive without haveing canned foods. He knew how to fish, and which berries were safe to eat, so he'd be just fine.

Ok there have been ALOT of short posts, so I'll say 1 more time. 4 lines to a post, no exceptions. Next person to break it, will feel the wrath of Daxter! >:P

Alex set out his equipment ready for the night when he heard Myles question. "Urmmm, I've been dueling since I was 5, I think. What about you?" Alex asked. He picked up his deck and looked through it while relaxing next to the fire and eating his soup. Switching cards in and out of his deck, he struggled to improve the random deck of cards. "This tournamant is tough ain't it?" he asked. He thought the tournamant was going to be just duel after duel, not surviving on the island and dueling with random cards. It was a test of raw skill, I guess thats why they call it the raw tournamant, he thought.

[Daxter]

"Hmm I have been dueling for a long time, as long as I can remember. This tournament isn't to bad, it's alot of fun dueling with random cards, it's a true test of skill." Myles had finished all of his soup for this night and he himself was going threw his deck, trying to find a way to improve, but for the most part he liked the way his deck turned out, not strong, but not weak, a nice balance of power and ways to stump your opponent.

Zack got a box and put his deck in the box. He opened the packs and went over to someone who appeared not to be dueling. He was sorting cards in a deck. "Hello I'm Zack. Wanna duel. I'll wait for you to get your deck ready besides I have to turn in my deck." Zack walked over to the counter and turned over his deck stored in the box to the tournament helpers. Then when that was done he went over to the boy who was sorting his cards again. Then quickly set up a deck using the cards given. "You ready?"

[Zimiri of the Muse]

"Yes, I have my deck ready. Lets duel. Oh and my name is Zach to. Who do you want to go first?" Zach asked hoping his nilla deck could hold his own. He had just finished it and hoping he could use that to his advantage. Since his opponent just saw him finish his deck he would think he wasnt used to it and miss some combos. But if he came out strong and didnt miss a beat he could catch Zack of guard, knock him out of his rythm and hopefully make him make some mistakes. "Lets go nilla power!" Zach thought to himself energetic now that he had his game plan down.
