Sunlight came in through the blinds and hit Myles in the face. He looked out the window of the boat. He saw water splashing and birds flying in the morning sunlight. Myles stood up and started to get ready for this upcoming tournament. A voice came over the intercom.

 

"Good morning all duelists, this is your captain, I would like you to know that we will be on Duelist Kingdom in approxamitly 20 minutes. SO prepare yourselfs."

 

Cool, we are almost there. Well looks like this tournament is about to start, and hopefully it will be some fun. Myles was very excited for this tournament, he just wasn't sure about some of these new rules and regulations.

OOC: Are we allowed to use the banned cards you sent. Or can we use as much of them as we want?

 

Zack woke up to the Captain on the intercom. "Ugghhh. I'll need more than 20 minutes to get ready." Zack got up and got dressed. He looked at his deck. He had used this deck in honor of his grandfather. Zack looked at his Relinquished. That was his best card. He had since he was a little kid before his grandfather died. Zack walked out of his room to find they really were almost there. "Wow we are almost there. I can't wait. It's going to be so awesome. I'm going to try to see how far I can get."

Matt Anton stared at the glistening in the sun ocean while leaning against the railing at the front of the ship. A message was spoken through the intercom that Matt heard.

 

Matt smiled and clenched his fists. "We're almost there" he thought as he looked through his Deck. Matt had been waiting for this day for years now ever since he got the invitation to participate, he was confident in his cards and believed they would lead him to victory.

Alex leaned back on the rail, feeling the sea breeze. He stared at the horizon, not a care in the world. Until he heard the announcement. "Crap," he said out loud. He rushed down the corridor a accidently ran into a boy (Myles) who was just standing up and knocked his deck onto the floor. "Sorry. I'll help you pick them up," he said picking them up and handing them to him. "Whats your name anyway?"

Myles picked up his few remaining cards. "Oh no need to apologize, an accident I'm sure." Myles stuck out his hand. "The name is Myles. What's your name." Myles looked down at his deck. Then he realized this kid was most likely a duelist. "So your going to the Raw Tournament to?" Myles felt like that was a stupid question, but he wasn't sure how to start up a conversation.

 

Ooc: You can use ANY card I sent you in a PM, if it's banned, limited, I don't really care, each card can be used.

"My name is Alex and yeah, I'm part of the tournamant," Alex replied looking at his deck. "Do you want a duel or something after I get my stuff? If theres is enough time," Alex looked out the window at the ocean. He couldn't believe he was invited to this tournament and he couldn't believe he was hear, dueling all the pros. Then he looked back at Myles after a second "Urrr yeah I'll go get my things and my duel disk," he said turning round to go to his room.

Shawn Smith was already up. He was looking out at the water. He heard the announcement and was happy. He was wearing his duel disk. It was black and had a green thing at the top. He had the deck in it. He was happy. He wasn't going to duel until he was made to at the island. He was waiting to surprise everyone. He was going to stay quiet. He didn't want people to know that he was really a noob. He just started to play this game a few months ago.

"No thanks, I'm not feeling a duel right now, I wanna wait till we get to the island." Myles started to walk towards the main deck. "I'll catch ya later." Myles went out on the main deck, and he looked out towards the island. The announcer made another annoucment. "Alright everyone, we will be at the island in 5 minutes, prepare for boarding. "Sweet, we are almost there!" Myles said outland. Then the announcer made one final announcement. "Alright duelists, once on the island, you must all proceed to the castle to hear the rules and regulatios of this tournament, anyone who doesn't go will be kicked out of the tournament immediatly." The announcer boomed.

"Only 5 minutes left, huh. Well then i'd better pack my things and get ready." Said kenneth as he folded his laptop and put it in his bag and grabbed his duel disk. It contains his newly formed deck he made just for this tournament. " Nobody will be able to withstand my ancient gear deck,they will all be crushed by my golem". Kenneth stared out the window, he just couldn't wait until he arrived at the island. He walked out to the bar and asked for a drink during he waited. "Nope, no one will beat me."

Matt Anton continued to gaze at the glistening ocean while sitting on the foint railing, his whole life his been anticipating a tournament to test his skills and he figures that this was easily the best chance he got to prove himself to the world. He had a qucik glance through his deck wondering how it would compare to those on the ship. If he succeeded and won this tounament the possiblities would be limitless. He hopped oiff the raiing and walked into the ship. "Hmm i wonder what other duelists there are here?" He wascontiuing to think of strategies of good combos while walking through the ship

The ship finally pulled up to the dock. "It's time for this to start off!" Myles said to himself. Myles grabbed his bag, which had general things he might need like a tent, and some food, just common things for survival. That was the only thing so far that was weird about this tournament, there was no hotel, no place to sleep, no fast food store, everything was survive on your own. But Myles liked the idea of that.

 

----10 Minutes Later----

 

Myles finally made his way all the way up the stairs to the caslte. All of the duelists were there. Waiting for this tournament to be started. An old man came walking out near the top of the castle, looking down at all of the duelists.

 

"Welcome duelists. My name is Croquet, I was Mr. Pegasus's head butler. We were very close, great friends. When he died I was very upset. But then I found his will, and he asked for a final tournament to be thrown on his island, the winner will become the new president of his company. But, he asked that there were new rules for this tournament. Rule number 1 is this. All of your decks, may not be used."

 

The crowd all began to whisper, some even yelled, they were confused.

 

"But instead, you all will be givin packs or random cards, and you will construct your deck with these cards. So now, you will all be givin a special box. You will place your personal decks in these boxes, and they will be locked and kept here. Only you will have the keys, so believe me your cards are safe. We will have them in a top secret vault, and you can come get them as soon as you are kicked out, or choose to leave this tournament. Please have your decks ready, we will pass out the boxes now."

 

The workers began to hand everyone there a small golden box, it had a picture of the Millenium Symbol on the front, and they each had a number on the top.

 

"All of the duelists here have a specific number, all saved on our computer data base. So your cards are safe, and will be returned before you leave this island."

 

All of the duelists gave their decks to the guards, some duelists even decided to leave the tournament, they didnt want to give up their cards. After all of the decks were collected, each duelist was givin their random decks of cards, but they could not be opened until the tournament officially started.

 

"The second rule, is the deck master system. I will explain this in full detail. At the start of each of your duels, you must pick 1 monster from your deck to act as your Deck Master. This Deck Master will stand next to you during your duel. Each Deck Master will have a specific ability that can help alter the duel. For example, the monster known as Deep Sea Warrior, has a very useful ability. His ability makes it able for you to wait until your opponent attacks you, you can destroy 2 monsters you control to have the monster attack your opponents Life Points instead of yourself. Each Deck Master can be moved to the field as an acctual monster, but head my warning, if at anytime your Deck Master is destroyed, you lose the duel."

 

"Alright I believe I have covered everything, are there any questions from any of you?" Croquet asked the crowd of duelists.

 

OOC: Ok, so for the deck master, you get to make up the Special Ability, but if it's to overpowered, you will be forced to change it. Also, during the begining of each duel, you MUST post this.

Matt listened to the butlers announcement and wasn't surprised, he figured there would be a few different aspects of the this tournament. Matt quickly stated while folding his arms. "So do we get to get more packs or do we just have the ones we got untilt he end of the tournament?" Matt waited in anticipation for the answer, hoping that the answer would be someting like "You get to purchase more cards later on or somthing".

Croquet lightly smacked his head. "Of course" he said in his scratch-y voice. "You start with the packs givin to you. But by winning duels, you will be givin Duel Points. These will also act as a win-lose record. The more you win, the more Duel Points you will get. Once you get enough, you can purchase more packs to try and increase your deck strength. And I saved the most important part of this tournament for last. You will each be givin these Special Cards, they will act as wagers for your duels. You must bet these in duels to advance. You start with 4, you need 10 to make it to the finals. Only 8 can make it to the finals, and there are over 200 of you...so duel hard, and let nobody stop you from getting what you want!" Croquet turned after everything was handed out, and everything was in order. "Commence dueling!" He yelled and the duelists began to scatter.

 

Myles started to walk in towards the woods, he opened up his packs of cards. "Wow, i got some gems in these, but other people may have gotten better cards, so Ill have to be careful." Myles went into the woods and then he sat down next to a shaddy tree and began to formulate his deck.

Matt smiled as hea heard this. This was the perfect answer for him, his cards were very impressive with some powerful rare cards, but would it be enough, now he had absolutly no idea, but he was qutes ure baout what packs he will get with the points he wins. He leaned against the wal looking through the packs formulating strategies and techniques to use as to win the duels. "Hmm" matt said in a pleasing tone. "These are not bad cards at all, a couple of loose ones, but overall not bad im quite satisfied, Ic can't wait to duel now!" Matt began to walk in different directions unknowing of what he should do next.

Zach opened up his packs. A dissapointed look crosses his face then he replaces it when a overjoyed look.

"Cant give anything away." He thought to himself. But just his luck. He never got anything good from his packs at home and now, the most important duels of his life, and he doesn't get anything. So he sits down and thinks to himself while looking at his cards. "There has got to be something I can use these for. There is a great combo in every card just waiting to be found." He thinks to him self, optimistic but frustrated.

[Daxter]

Myles stood up from the tree he had been sitting next to. He was confident he came up with a good deck idea. Now he just needed to find a good duelist to try and duel. Almost the second after he thought that, a young kid challenged him. "You!" The kid yelled. "I'm gonna kick you out of this tournament right now Myles!" Myles looked over in the direction of the voice, it sounded familar. It was his old friend Steve, a kid who he had been dueling since he was very young. He always beat Steve, and made him angry with jealousy. "I knew you'd come find me sometime Steve." Myles said activating his duel disk. "But your no match for the heart of the cards Steve!" Myles boomed as he searched his deck for his deck master. "Still going on about the heart of the cards huh Myles? This game is about power, and I happen to have plenty of it! My deck master will be the Kaiser Sea Horse!"

 

Myles couldn't decide who should be his deck master, then it hit him. "My deck master will be the Swordsman of Landstar!"

 

Steve began to laugh. "Do you really think that tiny runt will do anything for you? Well let me start this duel off huh? I'll start by summoning out my Battle Ox in attack mode. And I'll end my turn."

 

Myles looked at his hand. Well I do have a monster strong enough, by why would he start out so easily...well I can use this chance to get an early lead. "I'll start by summoning out my Luster Dragon, in attack mode. Luster Dragon attack!" The Battle Ox was destroyed, leaving Steve with 3800 Life Points. But this duel was far from over.

Shawn was looking at his deck."This is crap he thought. Only I got the crap. I got Horus. That made him happy. Now if I try hard enough I can make a killer ground collapse deck. They wont know what hit them." He thought. He was distracted at people opening up packs and either enjoying it or looking disappointed. He was making his deck over. He didnt like giving up his fiend deck. He still was going to enter. His deck master was a secret. He knew thiis would help him win duels.

Alex walked towards the ruins of an old building that had several duelists inside. He went inside quickly to find someone to duel, but then a tall boy wearing a big fur coat, a gold necklace and sunglasses stepped infront of him. "Want to duel? Then duel me," his voice was posh and confident. "Fine then, my deck master is the Mystic Swordsman Lv4 (ATK 1900/ DEF 1600). You'll its power later." Alex replied while putting his newly made deck into his duel disk and activating it. "My deck master will be Airknight parsath, and my name is Richard" the he replied. " I wager 1 special cards do you wager the same?" Richard asked. "Yeah, I'll wager 1. Lets Duel!" Alex shouted as his life points showed on his duel disk.

"I'll go first," Alex said drawing a card from his deck. "First I'll summon Giant orc (ATK 2100) and I'll set 1 face down card, your turn." Richard smiled and drew a card from his deck. "I'll set a monster card and end my turn, your move."

 

Alex drew a card from his deck and looked at his hand for a moment, that card could be anything, infact I will risk it."Now Giant Orc attack his face down card!" Alex shouted pointing his finger at the card. Giant Orc charged at the monster, which flipped to reveal Skelengel. "Ha, I get to draw a card!" Richard said happily and drew another card. Skelengel (DEF 400) was destroyed by Giant Orc who returned back to defence mode mode. Damn I forget, he returns in defence mode!

 

The Duel was far from over......

Matt continued to walk surprisingly he hadn't found a duelist yet, until he walked into an open plain field with tall kid sitting on it with his arms folded, he had a yellow shirt and black pants on, he stood up as Matt appraohed and activated his duel disk while he grinned. Matt activated his duel disk and got serious.

 

"My duel master is Granmarg the rock monarch for this match!" Matt said.

"Mine will be Giant soldier of stone"

 

"I'll go first!" matt said as he drew 6 cards. "I set 1 card face down and set 1 card face down! You're move!"

 

"Pathetic! I Summon Kojikoki in atk mode! (ATK/1500) Go attack the face down card!"

 

"I don't think so" matt replied " Charcoal inpachi so you take 600 damage!

 

"haha i don't thinks so! Go giant soldier of stones deck master effect any damage i take is reduced by 300!" (Lp = 3700) I set one card nd end my turn"

 

"My move, draw! I summon Insecty Knight in Attack Mode! Go attack Kojikoky!"

 

"Ah!" (kojikoky was destroyed) (LP = 3600) Haha soldiers effect again"

 

Matt smirked. " Now monarches effect activates, when a deeck masters effect activates twice he destroys 1 set card on the field so there goes your face down!" Matt smiled. "Your move."

Alex: 4000 ~ Giant Orc (DEF 0)

 

Richard: 4000 ~Nothing~

 

Richard smiled confidently, drawing another card and looking through his hand. "I'll activate Card destruction, sending both our hands to the graveyard and letting us draw the same amount we discarded. Now I summon my deck master, Airknight Parsath (ATK 1900)! It can pierce your defence, which is zero, making it equal to a direct attack!" Richard stood proudly as Parsath sliced Giant Orc in two and watched Alex's lifepoints decrease.

 

Alex:2100

 

Richard: 4000~ Airknight Parsath (ATK 1900) Deckmaster

 

"My turn," Alex said nervously. Now I have a perfect plan, he thought after he saw what card he had drawn. "I summon Silent Swordsman Lv3 and I will set 1 face down card. Your move." Alex was definatly confident now and started to smile.

 

Richard laughed at the Alex's Silent Swordsman Lv3 and started to smile aswell. "You think that will help you? Ha! Your a pathetic duelist!" he drew a card from his and straightened his dark sunglasses. "Now, Airknight Parsath attack his Silent Swordsman!" he pointed Alex's monster.

 

"Not so fast!" Alex said. "You just triggered my trap card, Threatening Roar, which means you can't declare an attack."

 

"So? I'm still going to win anyway. It's your move." Richard was frustrated that he could not finish his opponent yet and shifted nervously in his long, fur coat.

 

"You think? This duel is pretty much over." Alex said as Silent Swordsman Lv5 (ATK 2300) was special summoned to Alex's side of the field. "Now my new Silent Swordsman Lv5, attack his deckmaster and end this!" Silent Swordsman chraged at Parsath and drove his sword into the knight and destroying him.

 

Alex: 2100

 

Richard: 0 - Deck Master Destroyed

 

"How did you beat me?!?" Richard exclaimed as his life points went to 0 due to his destroyed deck master. He glasses fell from his face and smashed on the floor as he fell on his knees. "My perfect record......" Richard muttered sadly. Alex just turned and walked away with his 5th special card in hand and some duel points to get some new cards.

[Daxter]

Steve drew up his card. "I'm going to teach you a lesson, for making me look like a fool all those years ago. I'll move my deck master to the field, and sacrifice him for the Blue Eyes White Dragon! And now since my deck master was offered, Blue Eyes becomes my new deck master, but he must remain on the field, doesn't matter, there is nothing in your deck that can save you now! Blue Eyes attack!" The Blue Eyes White Dragon ripped threw luster dragon with ease.

 

"My turn." Myles drew his card. He fell to the ground laughing. "Well Steve it was fun, but you shouldn't put all your faith in on card, and here is why. I activate Dark Hole."

 

Steve was in shock as his deck master was destroyed. "How could I lose, again, like this!" Steve started to run, he had no intention of giving up his Special Cards. Myles chased him down, and eventually was able to tackle Steve. Myles grabbed 1 of the cards and walked away with some duel points to.

 

"Your a cheat Steve, I can't believe I ever called you friend.

Shawn had made his deck. He was a little mad he had cards he had no use for. He was ready to duel and he felt he had a slight advantage with the Creator crad in his deck. He was ready and he was not going to lose.

Alex made his way out of the ruins and past many duelists having their own matches. It seemed that many had cards that didn't have enough support and had random fusions or ritual cards. It was a tough tournament and Alex would have to up his game if he wanted a chance to get into the finals, that reminded him of something.

 

He walked round the island as the sun started to descend a came across a store which had a station to spend your duel points. Alex spent his 5 points on a pack which was called Invasion of Chaos. Hopefully this will help my deck, he thought when he stumbled upon a boy running. He looked to see who he was running from, it was Myles. "Hey Myles how you doin'?" he asked.

Zach was still sorting his cards frustrated. He was separating those who would defiantly go to his deck, those who might, and the others who weren't and going to be traded. Once that was done he started building his deck. He noticed many people had already started dueling and that made him apprehensive. But since they made their decks so quickly there was bound to be a flaw. He looked over his cards for what seemed like the hundredth time.

"Ugh! This is hopeless!" HE thinks to himself. But changes toa more positive attitude because if he stays negative the outcome will be negative, and who knows, these cards may surprise him.

Myles was looking threw his deck. He placed the cards in his deck and heard someone talk to him. "Oh hey Alex!" Myles walked over and noticed that Alex had gotten another Special Card. "So looks like your doing well for yourself, I got another card myself, and 5 Credit Points. Maybe we both will go to the finals, even though they are a long time away." Myles sat down on the ground to rest, he pulled out a can of soup from his bag. "So, did you get any good cards?"
