Yoh smiled widely at Sana. "You're on Sana! But I'm warning you, I'm not going to be easy to defeat!" Yoh said with a confident smile. "I'm back!" Muri came running towards Sana and Yoh holding onto some herbs. "I found some medicinal herbs that will help with your wounds Sana." Muri said as he crouched down and took two rocks, one of them is flat like a tablet while the other is a regular rock. "Alright, I'm going to mash these herbs up into sort of a paste and then you need to rub it onto your wounds. It may sting a little but this will keep the wound from getting infected." Muri explained as he took some time to mash up the herbs until it was paste-like. "Alright Sana, I'll help with your leg." Muri then gently rubbed the paste onto Sana's bite mark.

"You better get ready, because I'm not going to go easy on you." Sana grinned back as Muri came back. He began explaining what he was going to do but most of it went over her head. Medicen wasn't her strong suit, and she usually tried to avoid Yura when it came to check-ups. She let him rub the paste on her bite mark. "Hey I thought you said it would bur- HOLY HELL!!! THAT STINGS!!" she screamed into Muri's ear. She laughed nervously. "...Sorry Muri..."

"Hey guys, what I miss?" Daichi said as he climbed back on to the ship and threw the two fish-men on the deck. He then punched himself in the stomach and caused the pearl, which he had swallowed by accident, to go up his throat and back to his mouth. Daichi spit the pearl on to the floor. "That was disgusting." Both of the fish-men were near death from the bite wounds from his shark morph, but they were still alive. He looked up at crystal. "Do, did you miss me?" He smiled as he sat down on the side of the ship. The needles from the battle with Scrotin, and the large cut from Fringo, were still covering his body but it didn't effect his smile in any way.

Upon hearing Sana yelled, Muri fell on his back with his arms and legs lightly twitching. Yoh was also a little bit blown away by the scream. "(That sure was a powerful scream....)" Yoh thought to himself with a comically lifeless look on his face. Muri then got back up from the ground. "Wow, that was sure some scream Sana. Let's hope that wasn't enough to attract any unwanted attention, hehe." Muri said with a nervous smile. After applying at a few more places, Muri was finally finished. "Whew, glad that's over with...." Muri said with a tired expression. "Well you should probably be feeling better within the next hour. These plants are very useful." Muri stated. Muri then helped Sana onto his back. "Alright, since you won't be able to walk, I'll just have to carry you piggyback style. Let's go." Muri explained as he began walking followed by Yoh. "I think we're getting close. Can you smell that subtly sweet aroma that kinda makes you feel happy?" Muri asked.

"No worries captain, I'm just a little tired. Turning in to a full dragon two times in two days can really ware a guy out." Arashi tried to stand up but he was too tired and he fell on to his knees."Dammit!" Arashi swore as one of his knees landed on a rock. "That hurt!" He grabbed his knee where it hurt, but the pain wouldn't stop. "Don't worry captain, you go look for that fruit and I'll just rest here for a little bit. I'll be fine."

"That doesn't look so okay to me. I'll help you Arashi, afterall, we Devil Bats stick together, no matter what." Dan stated as he raised his hand towards Arashi. From beneath Arashi, a board of shadow arose from the ground, lifting Arashi up as well. "I'll have to keep you off the ground and this is the best way of doing it without having to lift you up myself. That wound you sustain just now seemed to have hurt a lot. Hold on Arashi, just rest now." Dan said as he began running followed by the board carrying Arashi. "(I still have to find the fruit, but right now, Arashi's well-being is more important so I'll have to find a doctor for him in town.)" Dan thought to himself.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine." Arashi got off the board, but was soon as his foot hit the ground pain shot through his leg from falling on the rock. "Siting down now." He said as he practically fall back on to the shadow. "I don't believe it. Put out of action by a damn rock." He watched as blood from his leg fell on to the ground. "We don't have time for this. It's just a little fatigue and a leg injury. It's not gonna kill me." Arashi complained. "Anyways, those bandits are strong. So strong I was barely able to beat one of them in my full dragon form. If they attack the others I don't know what will happen. We have to find them."

Alex saw the two pirate run in the same direction. One was injured, the other carrying him. She followed them, knowing they needed a doctor. "Wait! I know where the doctor is! I can help you!" She yells to them. She thinks about what could happen if she helps them, "My Jolly Roger is thought of, I could R.I.P., or something else. Well, one is injured, so they wouldn't-wait, he said Dragon. Oh crap! But, it would be rude to not help them." She held her frying pan, not to hit anyone, she always brought it with her.

"Stay still Arashi, I don't want to see my crew members being out of commision. You're bleeding.... I suppose that I need to stop the bleeding...." Dan held one of his hands up and shadow ropes began tying around the arm to stop the blood from flowing. "That should do for now. Now I need to bring you to town. I'm not a doctor so I need a professional, and Yura is busy fighting." Dan explained as he got closer to town. "Just a little bit more, and don't worry Arashi, I'm sure the others can handle themselves." Dan reassured Arashi.

 

Dan then stopped when he saw a strange girl. "You know where a doctor is? Where?! Please Miss show us! My friend is seriously injured!" Dan pleaded.

She nodded. "I live here, I should know." She started running, happy that someone unusual noticed her. "It's a few blocks, but it's running distance." She kept way ahead, because she was like the GPS for Dan & Arashi. She turned some tight corners until eventually making it to a small building. Three doctors were there, so numerous patients could be treated at once. "Emergency, Stat! This man was injured! His name, as I recall, Arashi." She helped him down & then to the doctor, who took it from there. And, she then turned to Dan. "You guys have a Cook in your crew?"

Dan gave a sigh of relief as Arashi was being treated to. "(Well I'm glad that ordeal is over with....)" Dan thought to himself as he regain his composture and placed his hands inside his pockets. Dan then turned to the girl. "Crew? Wait, you know that I'm a pirate? I see.... Well, unfortunately we already have a cook.... However, we need more crew members, are you looking for a pirate crew to join? By the way, I haven't even gotten your name, I'm Dan, nice to meet you, and thank you for your help." Dan responded.

"Well, I can fight." She holds her frying pan, has her knives in her pockets. "Oh, and i'm Alex. As well as Cook, I am a good Lookout, I held the position in my early years on a Chef's boat. Yes, I was BORN on a ship." She sticks her hand out, totally ignoring the pleas inside her to not join the crew. "If this hand is shook, I am a crewmate. And I ditch my apron. My dream is to Cook for the best, & possibly eat a Devil Fruit." She unties her apron, & smiles. "I'll be a good crewmate!" She held her hand closer, possibly right by his.

"Are you insane. How is this serious? I had worse cuts than this when I was five. And I didn't even go to a doctor about it." Arashi slapped himself in the face. "Dammit you're worse than my mom." He ripped the rope from his leg and threw it on the ground. "If the others find out about this I'll be a laughing stock." Of course when he said others, he was not talking about the Anomaly pirates, He was talking about his brother, Daichi, and one of his best friends, Riki. "You're going to let this girl join our crew? Her idea of a weapon is a frying pan!"

"Well, I never say we can't have another cook, it would be nice to have double the food." Dan joked lightly. "Well, what can I say but welcome to the Devil Bat Pirates." Dan said as he shook her hand. "Alex, from now on, you're part of the Devil Bat family. Well Alex, Right now we're currently helping a chef and his apprentice get the Loom Fruit, would you mind coming with me? It's dangerous in the mountains so be careful. Anyways, I'll introduce you to the rest of the crew later, but right now we need to get going." Dan said as he was about to run outside but then turned to Arashi.

 

"Arashi, expanding our crew would make finding One Piece easier, and besides, we haven't seen her fight yet." Dan stated.

Crystal smiled widely, "Daichi!" She screamed and ran to hug him. "Im so glad you're ok! I'll go get the first aid kits and antidotes!" She knew the signs of poison. Her entire life had been on a pirate ship so she wasn't stupit. She quickly ran to the back got the stuff and ran back. "Alright you know what to do. I'l take care of those two later. Can't let them die after you worked so hard to save them."

 

Otsumi was observing the pearl with awe and hapiness. She couldn't believe it. She actually had the pearl after all of this searching. And it was all thanks to these pirates.

Sana smiled feeling strangly upbeat....Well more than usual anyway. "Yeah, I an feel it. I can't believe it we're actually almost there." She looked down at Muri and poked him. "Hey can ya move a little faster? I've seen snails faster than you." She laughed using his head as and elbow rest.

Muri also felt more lighthearted and now have a calm smile on his face. "We're almost there! Finally, we can collect the rare Loom Fruit, I can't wait to cook dishes with it!" Muri said happily. Yoh also felt happier shown visibly by a wide smile on his face. "Ha! You wanna see faster Sana?" Yoh then began running towards the direction of the smell. "Wait up Yoh!" Muri began running as well. All of them seem intent on getting there first, Muri was now kind of like Sana's horse. "I'm gonna win Sana!" Yoh said as he picked up speed.

Alex put the frying pan somewhere else, & broke out her knives. She snickered as they walked. "And, if I find a Devil Fruit, i'm allowed to eat it?" She asked Dan, while interested in if she can. Alex slipped her knives into her pocket, & set her apron along with a explanation in front of the restaurant. "Now, the Loom Fruit?" Her mind slipped into thought. She thought of a thinner fruit, maybe with lines, not curls on it. She thinks it can like- wait, I am confused. I have heard more than one name for a Loom. "What is it's exact power?"

"No your not! Muri move faster! Come on!" Sana laughed out at Muri's predicament. She, like the others probably were, was at an all time high. She doesn't ever remember feeling so good before. "Hey, are you really going to let Yoh beat me? Use a bit of muscle why dontcha!" Sana even kicked his side, with her good leg, to try and get him to go faster. "This is like the pony rides when I was little...Only you're slow!!" The smell of the Loom fruit was getting stronger and that only made her smile widen. This was the most relaxed since she joined the Devil Bat's and left her pampered strict life.

Muri ran faster as he was kicked by Sana. "(Geez.... Even though she's hurt, she can still do some damage.... I need to focus.... But that smell really puts you in a relaxed and happy mood.)" Muri thought to himself. "Hey! No fair Sana!" Yoh yelled from behind. After awhile, the three finally made it to the location of the Loom Fruit Tree. The tree stood adamantly with loom fruits to be found by the dozens on the branches of the tree. "Whoa!" Muri and Yoh said at the same time out of amazement. "Now remember, we should only eat a little pieces of the fruit, not the whole thing. It is very dangerous to eat a lot of this fruit." Muri said as he grabbed a loom fruit and split it into three parts and handed two to Sana and Yoh. "Alright, let's try it." Muri took a bite out of the loom fruit flesh. Suddenly, he felt very happy, like all of his worries and negative feelings have disappeared. "Wow.... That's good...." Muri said while he is savoring the fruit. Yoh also had the same reaction, Yoh even blushed a bit.

Daichi let out a grunt of pain as Crystal grabbed him. "I know you were worried about me, but please don't hug me when I'm bleeding from every pore in my body." When Crystal finally let go Daichi almost fell off the ship from the pain, but he was able to catch himself. "That girl is gonna be the death of me." When Crystal came back with the first aid kit he took it and walked over to the pirates. "Sorry crystal, but the patients have to come first." He opened up a bottle of alcohol and started pouring it on Morsin's shoulder and Fringo's mid section. When he was finished cleaning the wounds he wrapped them both with bandages. "Lucky for these guys i didn't hit any of the fatal areas, they should be fine if they don't move around too much."

Arashi just grunted in aggravation. "Yeah i guess." He looked at Alex. "Sorry, It's nothing personaly. I've just had a bad day. I'm sure you'll make a fine addition to our crew."

Once they made it to the tree, and Muri finally put her down, she stretched and tapped her leg to see how her leg was doing. It was a bad idea cause pain shot threw her leg. "Ow..." She hapily took the piece of the Loom fruit offered to her. After taking a bite that happiness she felt earlier was nothing compared to how she felt now. Sana began giggling for an unknown reason. "Oh Dan! I do!" She paused after realizing what she said and blushed. "Anyway....This fruit is amazing! Those two feuding families will be hugging it out in no time!" She tried to say it quickly to hopefully get over her slip up earlier. "So how many of these things are you planning to get?"

Crystal sighed annoyed but waited until he was finished with the mermen. "Alright, alright they're done. Now undress so I can address your injuries." Crystal looked over to Otsumi who looked so happy to tears. She smiled and decided to let her have a few minutes to her self. In the meantime she gave her first mate a peircing look. "Now are we going to do this the easy way or am I going to have to freeze you down again?"

"Undress? Wow captain, I didn't know you were like that." Daichi joked. "Anyways. I'm the doctor, so why don't you just let be do it?" He smiled slightly. "Unless of course you have other motives for wanting me to take my clothes off."

After about 45 minutes in the kitchen the door opened and Riki came out with a table and food on it for everybody to eat. "Sorry it took so long, with this many people I had to make a bit more food."

Crystal blushed, "OF COURSE THEY'RES NO OTHER REASON!! GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER!!!" SHe yelled before cover her fist in ice and hitting him over the head. Only after face planting did she realize what she did. "Oops...Sorry Daichi. Actually it was your own fault. So you should be saying sorry to me not the other way around! So start apologizing."

 

Otsumi laughed at Crystal and Daichi. "Hey love birds an I say something? I wanna thank you for all of your help. I really couldn't have done it without your help...But I need another favor." She scratched the back of her head, "Can you guys take me back to Conami Island?"

Toni was instantly out of her room and on the deck. "I heard and smell food! Last one in, is a rottenegg!" She laughed and ran into the dining area. Vincent stood up putting all of his things up before calmly following behind Toni.

Daichi grabbed his head in pain from the punch. "I knew it, you're lying. It's all over your face." He stepped in closer to avoid any further attacks. His face was only inches from Crystals when he was interrupted by Otsumi. "No worries, we were headed that direction anyways."

Riki stared blankly at Toni. "How do you hear a smell?" Without bothering for an answer Riki grabbed one of the seats and held it out for Toni to sit in. "Madam....... or is it mademoiselle? I can never remember the difference." Riki laughed to himself. "Maybe I should take french cases or something.

"Yeah we don't mind. Like Daichi said it's on the way." Crystal muttered crossing her arms in an attempt to hid her blush. When he got close to her, she was actually wanting him to kiss her. Stupid Daichi and his stupid god looks... "Anyway, I I don't know about you guys but I'm hungry. Like Dauchi said he's the doctor so he can treat himself. Let's go Otsumii." She said grabbing Otsumi's hand and dragging her off still blushing.

"Details, details. Either way I'm am freaking hungry." Toni smiled sitting down in the chair Riki pulled out ffor her. "Either one is fine...But I wouldn't exactly know. I'm not into that fancy stuff." She laughed with him. "You're going to love Riki's coking. He's the best" Vincent didn't look up at Tony but daid, "Im sure he's just fine....But Eureka is the better cook." He never really said it before but he did love the kids food. That and he was going to stand by his crew mate.

 

"Thats ok. We all have different opinions." Toni smiled politely.
