"Huh? AHHH!!!!" Tyran screamed as he saw the Roaring Dragon technique just a inch from his face. Upon impact, lightning blast outwards from the site of impact, creating a dome-like structure completely made out of lightning with a dragon head-like protrusion on top of the dome. Inside, Tyran's whole body was subjected to extreme lightning damage. When the dome dissipated, Tyran stood there with pupiless eyes, his clothes turned to shreds, burns can be seen all over his body, and smoke coming off of his body and his mouth. Tyran then fell face-first to the ground. Muri and Yoh then went out of hiding, with Yoh staying a distance from Sana and still crying. "Thanks Sana...." Muri said.

Sana also collasped but into a sitting position. She was maxed out especially after the extra adrenalin she used. Once her body cooled off she stood up putting most of her weight on the fot that wasn't bleeding from her bite wound. "Yoh....Im sorry about what I said....I didn't mean it. He called my bluff....I wouldve never hurt you on purpose...." It didn't look like Yoh would be forgiving her so easily. "Come on why should keep going."

Yoh rubbed his eyes, "I believe you Sana...." Yoh said as he kneel down to the ground with her. "I'm sorry I doubted you Sana.... Thank you for protecting Muri and me...." Yoh said as a little bit of tears dropped to the ground. "But please.... Don't ever push yourself too hard...." Yoh pleaded. Muri kneeled down to the ground and placed Sana's arm over his shoulder. "We should go somewhere safe for now." Muri said as he helped Sana up off the ground. "Let's go...." Muri helped Sana walked while Yoh was walking by her side. "Are you hurtting Sana?" Yoh asked concerningly.

Daichi slammed in to one of the walls when he was tackled by one of the fish-men. Most of the remaining air had been knocked from his lungs when he was attacked. "Dammit. We can't beat these guys if we're under water." He glanced at Crystal and Otsumi. >Crystal, use your ice to surround yourself and Otsumi. Ice has a lower density than water, so you should float to the surface, and it should keep you safe from the sharks.< Daichi swam forward as fast as he could torts the closest fish-man and hit him in the chest, of course it was only enough to scratch him. >Hurry, I'll keep these guys occupied until you get out.< He quickly swam to the side before the fishman he had attacked had any chance to retaliate.

Sana was relieved that Yoh believed her. She would never forgive herself if he had actually taken her words to heart. "Im fine Yoh. You don't have to worry about me. I'm touger than I look." She smiled rrassuringly at him. "And thanks for helping me Muri." The truth was her leg was throbbing like mad. The bite wound was oretty deep and after running on it in the fight, she was sure she wouldn't be walking if it wasn't for Muri's help. "I hope we don't run into anyone else."

Crystal nodded and did as Daichi said, but only around Otsumi. There was no way she was leaving Daichi alone. Otsumi was slowly rising to the surface, much to her dislike, and Crystal held her hand out and slowly two ice torpedos fired towards the two unoccupied fishmen.

 

They easily dodged Crystal's attack and went after her. The merman that Daichi went after smirked and went to a head on collision towards him. At the last second he swam up and over Daichi and kicked him in the back. "Dont be so hasty do die. Boys come here." The ones going after Crystal stopped and returned to the apparent leader.

 

"I will ask again. Who are you and what have you come here for?"

>Dammit crystal, for once I just wish you would act selfishly and save your own ass instead of worrying about me!!< Daichi yelled when he saw that Crystal refused to run away. After getting caught by surprise and kicked in the back, even more air came out of his blowhole. >We're pirates, what do you think we came here for? There is a pearl in this ship that's worth a lot of money, and I'll do whatever it takes to get it.< Even though he said this, he had lost too much air from his lungs and he barely had enough to stay conscious. >Now just move aside so we can find the pearl and leave.

Kadyr walked onto the ship and then pressed the button to raise the anchor. The anchor rose from the sea, dripping wet, and it's chain rapidly coiled around the machine, pulling the anchor into a hole in the side of the ship. The plank then rose by itself and shifted into the ship. It seemed that Kadyr's ship was a high-tech one. The reflective metal plating on the outside, and the button activated anchor and plank gave it all away. Kadyr then walked to the front of the ship where there was a sort of metal plate on the floor and held his right hand out. The plate glowed and activated, and a bright light shone around the ship, and it suddenly began moving on it's own. He controlled and fueled it using his Devil Fruit Powers. Anyone looking at the ship from the port would see it disappear into thin air completely. What Kadyr had actually done was reflect light around his ship to prevent it from being seen. This was why no one knew much about his crew or ever saw them before. The ship began sailing north, towards the peninsula which Nova's lost crew members were on. He shifted his hands into his pockets and stood there, staring out into the open sea.

Trace watched Allaine as she formed her hand into the large lion's paw and crashed it into the ground. He was not at all shocked when the shockwave was sent towards him. His face kept the same bored expression. He lifted his right hand, having it form into a bird's claw, and then slashed forward through the air. "Rankyaku Slice." he muttered as he slashed his claw through the air. From his claw was released a spiraling blue "air blade" which crashed through the shockwave and then exploded as the two collided. It threw up smoke which blinded the two from seeing one another.

 

Trace then saw members of Allaine's crew coming at him from out of the corner of his eye. "This is pretty pitiful. Maybe the guy with the Sand-Sand fruit will be stronger." Trace said, sighing as he disappeared. Booms moved through the air, and there were flashed of white. The flashes stopped, and Trace was standing horizontal in the air, with both of his hands changed into claws and crossed in an X fashion in front of him. "Rankyaku." he said as he slashed down really quickly. His claws became blurs as he sliced, and from them were released many swirly blue "air blades". They blades crashed down into the crew members, stopping some of them as they came. He continued to do this, watching the smoke with his peripheral vision as he did so.

The merman leader laughed. "Really now? There's no way you're taking our treasure dolphin boy. I am Scrotin, the strongest merman in the world. That is Fringo, the swiftest," The ones with the funs smirked. "And that is Morsin. He has the most skill and experience with you fool pairates. Now come at us if you dare." Crystal knew Daichi needed air but he wasn't leaving. He was going to be mad at her for this but a captain has to protect her crew. She formed another ice bubble around him so he culd get his air. It would vanish once he reached the top.

 

To distract the mermen she shot hundreds of ice needles towards them, forcing them to dodge. Crystal couldn't move otherwise she'd sink, so she had to hold onto the wall of the ship. "Hn, a devil fruit user under the sea. Never though I'd see the day." Scrotin laughed easily dodging the onslaught of ice needles. Fringo, true to his name, was in front of Crystal in seconds and grabbed her. He reached for her oxygen mask but she was able to cough him and he yelled quickly letting go, as he suffered from extreme freezer burn. "Dammit! You bithch!"

 

Crystal was now away from the ship and had nothing to hold on to. So now she was sinking. The mermen took that and was now charging towards her.

>Dammit crystal. I hate it when you do this crap!< Daichi yelled as the ice floated to the top of the water, when it reached the top the ice melted and Daichi was able to breath again. "I have to think of something." He then remembered the sharks that had attacked earlier. He had recognized the sharks as Carcharodon Carcharias, also known as Great white sharks. "That's it. I don't know if it'll work, but its worth a try." He dove back under the water and dove untill he got to the spot where the sharks where at. All of the sharks had been killed but there bodies remained, that was all he needed. He got close to one of the sharks and shifted back in to his human form. He immediately felt the pressure on his lungs, but he ignored the pain as he reached out and placed his hand on the shark. "If this doesn't work, then Crystal will die." Daichi took his hand off the shark as he slowly sunk. "Well, here goes nothing." Daichi's body started changing, his mouth grew man large teeth and he soon took the form of a great white shark. "I don't believe it. It worked."

Crystal was done for. She couldn't move to dodge the quick attacks from the three of them. Somehow, Crystal was able to use her ice to block most of the attacks, and to keep herself from sinking to far down she continuously put ice around her to make her float high enought. Suddenly FRingo got behind her and one of his fins cut the oxygen tank and the oxygen was escaping fast, and water was coming in. Crystal's eyes widened and she frantically took the tank off. She was no longer sinking as fast but now she didn't have any air.

 

"Hn, you should've stayed on land!" Fringo laughed, as Scrotin punched her in the gut letting what little oxygen escape. The burning in her lungs was to great and she couldn't think straight. "Dai....chi..." She muttered before her eyes closed and she stopped moving, sinking further and further. The mrmen laughed. "One down and two to go."

 

Suddenly Otsumi was seen swimming quickly towards Crystal. "Boss, look." Scrotin chuckled. "You ant save her she's already dead. Morsin get rid of the girl."

 

"Got it." Morsin began charging at Otsumi, but she stayed on her path towards Crystal. She had faith that Daichi would be here soon.

>Back off!!< Daichi charged right at Morsin! Using his shark instincts and his human brain he opened his jaws wide and shut them tight around Morsin's shoulder. Daichi allowed the shark mind to take over as he shook his head and deepened the wounds on Morsin's body. >If you value your life, then I highly suggest you back off!< Daichi yelled as he let go of the badly injured Morsin. As the blood seeped in to Daichi's shark teeth the shark's hunger for blood got worse. >There is something you should know about me. I am probably one of the few people who can use the morph morph fruit to its full potential because I know how to use the animals instinct in battle. So if you feel like dying, then come at me.<

After the ship was sailing Riki went in to the kitchen to prepare a meal. When Riki closed the door he held out both hands and the cooking dishes, each one with jewels on the handles for Riki to control, started flying around the room until they landed in place and the fires on the burners started. "There are a few more passengers, so I can't hold back anything today." Daichi said to himself as he started cooking.

As Morsin's pained scream filled the ocean, Otsumi reached Crystal. Otsumi quickly gave a mad dash towards the surface, moving slower because of the added weight. They broke the surface but the ship was no where to be seen. Not only that but Crystal wasn't in the right position for Mouth to Mouth. If she tried to do it now than Crystal would die. She just hoped The captain could hold on long enough. "Daichi good luck..." She mumbled as she began swimming back to the boat.

 

"Sorry kid but you come into our territory and expect us to high tail it and run? Please." Scrotin looked at Morsin. "Not lonely that but you injured one of our own. Your going to pay for that."

 

Scrotin's whole body began to tense up, and veins popped up all ofver the place. "Hundred Needle Strike!!" Suddenly a hundred needles shot from the holes on his body and flew towards Daichi at the speed of missles. Fringo smirked and waited until the attack was over. He charged at Daichi immideately not givng him time for much, and spun at him clockwise rapidly. "Peircing Twister!!" He seemed to cut throug the very water. If Daichi got hit with this he would be sliced in half.

Daichi's shark body was strong but not fast and he was unable to avoid most of the Needle. >You're gonna die.< Daichi charged at Fringo, at the last second Daichi went under the blade and clamped his jaws around Fringo's mid area. The force of Daichi's charge was enough to force himself and Fringo in to one of the walls of the ship and shatter it. >I don't like killing if I can help it. So please, take you friends and leave.< Daichi said to Scrotin after incapacitating Fringo. As he swam out of the ruble it could be seen that the attack had given him a large scar on his side, and he still had needles sticking out of his body >If you try and fight me, even if you win, you won't have time to save your comrades. So just take them somewhere and treat there wounds.< Daichi pleaded. >One damn pearl is not worth the lives of two of your crew members.

Scrotin was fuming now and the water around him began heating up he was so mad. "I won't let you get away with this!!" He began to tese up again. "Poison needle strike!!" Twice as many needles as before shot at Daichi but this time each one was poisoned. By themselves the poison wouldn't do much but maybe give him a bit of nausea. But get hit with too many and it could be fatle. "I will kill you!!"

 

Otsumi was trying her hardest to get back to the boat as quickly as possible while keeping Crystal above water. She needed Daichi to hurry up. Last she saw he was a shark, and those things are fast. They could get back to the ship in no time.

>You greedy bastard!!< Daichi easily avoided the needles by ducking behind a piece of wall that had been destroyed in the previous attack. >I told you that you could save your comrades if you didn't fight, but you still attacked.< Daichi's anger only rose. >You chose to let your friends die just for one stupid jewel and your damn pride.< He yelled at Scrotin. >How the hell do you get across even calling them your comrades?< Daichi started another charge torts Scrotin. He was so angry that he didn't even think about the possibility of Scrotin shooting more needles, but then again, he probably wouldn't care anyways.

Scrotin quickly dodged the charge....Or at least that's what he though. His leg was caught in Daichi's mouth. He screamed loudly as he desperatly tried to get free. "Let me go!! You damn bastard!!" He yelled punching Daichi in the head. "Poison Needle strike!!" At this close of a range Daichi would be poisoned with most of his needles.

"Now you're gonna die!! And you'll never get the pearl!"

Eureka looked arounnd K's ship. It was far different from Nova's. He wished that there was an intrument laying around. It seemed rather quiet on the ship. Eureka hated when it was quiet. He didn't mind the akword vibe because he made things very akword at times. "How does your ship work? Some sort of magic or something?" He said joking around.But he really was interested by the high tech ship.

Daichi clamped his teeth as tight as he could, but the punch to the head was too much and he was forced to let go. Daichi was unable to dodge the needles in time and was stabbed by most of them. >I won't die.< Daichi said as he floated away slightly. >I will never die against a creep like you who doesn't understand the meaning of comrades.< His shark mind was creaming for Daichi to run away. But Daichi new that if he ran, he would only be followed and his friends would be killed. >I've taken out one if your legs, now I'll just take out your other leg and then your two arms.< Daichi charged again, this time he went for Scrotin's neck.

*Hours later from where you last saw Ragnarok... some time after noon*

 

Ragnarok had been told by the man in the cottage that it would take about a day to get to shell town by the sea... Ragnarok hadn't been happy with that. He burnt down the man's house because of the news... but he had let the two of them live. Now he was back on the small ship he had stolen from the fishermen in the last town he had been to, headed for shell town.

"Oh so soon I'll hav emy littel chat with the fleet admiral, I'll get my swords back then unleash all hell on Rafael!" Ragnarok laughed to himself, a thought boucing around in his head.

Perhaps later on in life I'll write a song about all of this... no wait! A symphony! yes, a symphony! A symphony of destruction, oh how beautifully evil it will sound.!

Dan, Jack, and Yura continued running through the hills with the bear still swiftly chasing them. "Damn it Jack! What did you do now???!!!" Dan yelled. "Me?! Why do you always automatically think that I'm the cause of this?! How about Yura?!" Jack responded. "This is no time for jokes!" Dan answered. "Hey look! A cave!" Jack exclaimed while pointing towards the cave. A giant boulder was right next to the cave. "Alright, ready?!" Dan asked which Jack and Yura responded with a nod. "Now!" Dan, Jack, and Yura made a turn which left the road wide open. The bear then ran into the dark cave. "Jack! Now!" Dan yelled. "Right! Lion's Cyclone Mach 2!!!!" A big cyclone pushed the boulder in front of the cave, blocking the entrance.

 

"Hehe, that bear was giving you losers trouble? Then we're gonna be a bigger problem!" a voice said. The voice came from one of two men. One man has long white hair and is wearing a bluish black jacket, matching trousers, black boots, and a black scarf. The other man was a dark-skinned man with short black hair wearing a short-sleeve, white shirt, brown trousers, blue shoes, orange wristbands, and goggles. "What the- So, it's just some dirty old mountain bandits. What do you idiots want?" Dan responded. "We're here to kill you. You pirates are causing a lot of troubles for the Boss. So we're here to exterminate you pests." the first man answered. "Dan, go on ahead, me and Yura'll take care of these two clowns." Jack stated confidently.

 

"Are you sure?" Dan asked. "Yeah, just get outta here! Let the grown-ups talk Sonny!" Jack responded with a smile. "Why you little- Just hurry it up!" Dan yelled in annoyance and then ran off. "Alright Ladies, let's dance shall we?" Jack taunted. "Hehe, cute...." the first man sarcastically responded. "Shukei, you take the right, I'll take the left...." the second man stated. "Alright then Kol, do whatever you like, but I'm glad that I can kill this Big-Mouth right here!" Shukei answered. The two of them then dashed off, Shukei towards Jack and Kol towards Yura.

 

Muri carried Sana over to a small cave. "Alright, Yoh stay here with Sana, I'm going to look for some medicinal herbs to try and help with your sustained wounds. I'll be right back." Muri explained as he ran off into the forest. "Sana, it's going to be alright. Muri may be a chef, but he knows a thing or two about medicine as well. Here's some water." Yoh said as he handed Sana a canteen.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Allaine's crew members were blown away by Trace's powerful attacks. Trace abilities are more than enough to take out every single person of this crew, that is why he's an Admiral. "(Damn it! There's no denying the fact that he'll defeat me. I'll just have to stall as long as I can.)" Allaine thought to herself. She then transformed into her full Sphinx form. "You'll die here now!!!!" Allaine screamed at Trace as she charged at him. Her tail whipping around the area, causing structures to fall down and creating a cloud of smoke. "(I've gotta delay his time as long as I can.... Spriggs, get off of that island now!)" Allaine frustratingly thought to herself as she continued her charge.

Sana took the canteen and took a sip of water. She hadn't even realized how thirsty she was. "Thank's Yoh. You mind answering a question for me? How did you get into the cooking business? I don't really see much of resemblance between you and Muri, so being a family thing is out." She shrugged, zoAtleast that's what I came up with." Sana moved her leg to a more comfortable position fighting back the urges to wince.

Scrotin wasn't paying any attention to Daichi and was still cradling his leg. By time he saw Daichi his powerful jaws were clamped tight around his neck. He gave a gurggled scream as his throat was being torn apart. Once he was let go his head was just barly hanging on to the rest of his body. He fell to the ocean floor and a bit of dirt was kicked up revealing something shiney. The pearl!

 

Otsumi was becoming tired, but the ship was just within reach. Shewas almost there. Otsumi just hoped that perforning CPR was still possible.

"Dammit! Arashi swore as he fell to the ground, still tired from his fight. "Being forced to turn in to a full dragon two times in two days. How could i really be that weak?" He leaned his back against a tree. "Given I did win the fight, but that was pure luck. I'm gonna have to get a lot stronger if I want to help the others survive the grand line."

"Why is it that I have been forced to kill so many times today." Daichi thought as he watched Scrotin fall to the floor. When the pearl was reviled Daichi swam down and picked it up. Of course without any hands the only thing he could do was hold the pearl in his mouth, which was no easy task. Daichi was about to swim to the surface when he noticed that both Fringo and Morsin were still alive. "I can't let them die. It goes against my pride as a veterinarian." Daichi swam to both of the fishmen and put them both on his back and swam to the surface of the water.

A girl is slicing the head off a fish before slicing it, basting it, & finally frying it. She pours a little wine into a glass, then grabs a plate of fine china. She rests a leaf on it, puts the Fried Fish on the plate, sprinkles some spices, & leaves with the meal. She sets it on the table for a man to enjoy, & the wine sparkles & actually glistens in the sun. "Your meal, sir." She says, & runs back to the kitchen. She was the youngest Chef there, she actually took out one meal a day. She sat in a chair, he was the final customer. She threw her towel over her left shoulder. "Alex, your day is done!" Alex then smiled, & went into town, heading for home.

"Spinning Cyclone Kick!!!!" Jack yelled as a cyclone began spinning around his leg. "Heh, is that all you got?!" Shukei taunted as he dodged out of the way. Jack's kick destroyed a large boulder as it made impact. "(Damn it, this guy's fast.... Really fast....) Huh?" Jack turned around to see Shukei aiming a fist towards him. Jack quickly dodged and the two engage each other in a barrage of punches. "You're pretty fast ya know that?" Jack asked. "Heh, you're not bad yourself." Shukei responded. Finally, both punched each other in the face at the exact same time, sending one another back.

 

Whereas Jack and Shukei were exchanging punches, Yura and Kol were exchanging kicks. One after another, aiming to break a rib. As one of Kol's kick neared Yura's head, Yura transformed his head into smoke to avoid the kick. Yura then took one of his pistol and shoot at Kol. Kol unsheathed his sword and was quick and powerful enough to cut the bullet in two. Yura's eyes widened with surprise. "What the- You were able to cut my bullet in half...." Yura said. Kol only responded with a barrage of slashes.

 

Dan continued his way higher up the mountains when suddenly he noticed Arashi nearby. "What the- Arashi!" Dan yelled as he ran towards him. "Arashi, you're hurt. What happened?" Dan asked.

 

"Muri isn't a blood relative of mine or anything, but he is my family.... You see, since I as long as I can remember, I was a lonely orphan, alone in the streets.... I would always be picked on by the bigger kids, and I hated everybody, including myself.... but that changed when one day a new chef moved into town. The chef was Muri. He came to Commi Island to bring happiness back to people's faces through the food that he cooks. One day Muri noticed I was in the street begging for food, he was kind enough to take me to his restaurant and serve up a soup that I would never forget.... From then on I've been his apprentice, learning how to make people happy through the foods that I will later create, and that's why.... that's why I want to be the greatest chef in the world!" Muri explained. "That is my goal Sana, how about you? Do you have a goal your striving for?" Muri asked out of curiosity.

Crystal coughed out water and rolled to her side before flopping onto her back agaian. "Daichi?..." Otsumi wiped her mouth a disgusted, but relieved look on her face. "Sorry princess but your boyfriend aint here." Crystal stood up, still disoriented from not drowning, and stumbled towards the edge of the ship. "I have to....Go back for him..."

 

"Woah there!" Otsumi yelled quickly stoping her. "Youre in no condition to be going anywhere. Besides you ant even swim."

 

"what about....The pearl?"

 

Otsumi's blond bangs hid her eyes. "It doesn't matter. It was just a stupid pearl....The stories were probably bogus anyway."

A wide smile hit Sana's face at Yoh's story. He may have been young but she could see that he really loved cooking, a skill close to her heart. "I know what you mean. The look on peoples face when they taste good food...It's one of the best things in the world....But there's just one problem with your story. I'm going to be the best cook in the world." She smiled pating Yoh on the head. "So it means there's only one way to settle this. Once you get better I'll have to come back so we could have a cook off. What do you say? Up to the challenge?"
