"Grrrr!" Dan was trying his best to beat Jack at arm wrestling, but then Jack went for the win. "Hahaha! Try again in five years Dan!!!! The master has won again!!!! Hahaha!!!!" Jack laughed confidently. "You won this round but cacti still doesn't have feelings!" Dan responded in annoyance. "{Gasp} You monster! Don't bring that up!" Jack yelled back. Yura had a big sweatdrop on his forehead. "..... What are you two doing?....." Yura asked. "Well we're-" Jack was interrupted by the sound of a woman screaming. "What was that?" Jack asked. "Let's go see." Dan responded quickly as he ran outside, followed by Jack and Yura. Outside, a group of five mountain bandits were standing with a bag of beli. "Hahahaha! Alright! Bring us more!!!!" a bandit yelled.

 

"Hey! What do you mountain bandits think you're doing?!" Dan asked. "Huh? What do you want Kid?! Go home to your Mommy before we kill you!" the bandit responded. "Kid?! I happen to be 23 you idiot!" Dan replied. "I don't care if your 60, you look like a little snot-nose brat to me! Hahahaha! Men, get 'em!" Upon command, the other four bandits spread outwards.

"The Sand-Sand Fruit and the Sphinx-Sphinx Fruit eh? Interesting...I'll remember that." Trace said. He closed his eyes and sighed, and then opened them up once more. "The Sphinx-Sphinx Fruit should be easier to handle than the Sand-Sand Fruit. I think that I'll head to that one first. Thank you Fleet Admiral Kami. I won't be needing backup." Trace said, as he bowed once more. He then turned and walked out of Kami's office. Well then. Time to head over to that island in a jiffy. Ugh...taking a ship will be such a drag, I could just fly, but then I'd be spotted easily. Better go with the ship. Trace walked out of the Marine Headquarters and headed over to the port where a small ship was awaiting him. It could fit only about 4 people, and it had a small sail on it with the Marine insignia on it. Trace stepped into it and then pushed off. He sat down within the boat, crossed his right leg over the left and folded his arms across his chest. In the boat lay a map that showed him where all the islands lay. He saw the island to which he was headed on it, and lifted his right hand. The nail on his pointer finger seemed to grow into a claw, and then he scratched an X into the map to mark the first spot, Bluedeep Island. His nail returned to normal as he once more folded his arms and closed his eyes. His small ship pushed off, and he headed in the direction of Blue Deep Island.

"Wow. You're more of a nature freak than my brother." Arashi said as he ate his food and listening to the argument. "What the hell?!" Arashi followed the others to see the commotion outside. "Bandits?" Arashi stepped out of the restaurant. "I really hate....." Arashi transformed in to his half dragon form. "...People who think they can do whatever they want." Then took his sword from its sheath. "If you think you have what it takes to fight us, then come on." He released a blast of fire to intimidate the bandits.

"Heh! You think just by transforming into a lizard and coughing up a little bit of fire will scare us away?! I don't think so! Men get 'em!" One of the bandit dashed towards Arashi with his sword ready to strike. As he neared Arashi, the bandit pivoted his body and attempted a sweep with his sword in aim of cutting Arashi's body in half. Two of the pirates ran towards Jack ready to strike. "Humph, I may not have my swords, but fighting you buffons is a walk in a park! Lion's Cyclone!" Jack punched a giant cyclone towards the two bandits which send them flying back. The third bandit came towards Yura. Yura easily dodged his strike and kicked him in the stomach with enough force to send him back as well.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

As Trace's ship entered the Calm Belt, something huge was swiftly yet subtly following Trace's ship. The thing that is following Trace seems to have razor sharped teeth.

"Who are you calling a lizard!?" Arashi parried the bandits sword to the side with his own blade and then grabbed the bandits head, forcing it to the ground. "For your information, I'm a dragon." Fire started building up in his mouth. "And I'm gonna make sure you remember it." He shot a blast of fire from his mouth, but he held out enough so that the only damage to the bandit was his hair was burned off and his face had a burn scar on it. "Now every time you look in the mirror, you will remember what happened on this day."

"Gah!!!! You're crazy!!!!" The bandit jumped into a wet puddle and then ran back to his group. A little girl was passing by and the last of the bandits saw her. "Get outta my way!!!!" The bandit attempted a vertical strike down to try and kill her. "Ahhh!!!!" the girl screamed. {BAM!!!!} The bandit fell back quiter a distance. The girl was protected by Dan who kicked the bandit straight into the face. "You're safe now. Go back to your house." The girl was crying but she wasn't harm. She thanked Dan and then ran off. The bandits got up from the ground. "Now do you want us to kill you?" Dan said with an intimidating voice. "Err... We'll be back!" The bandits then ran off. "Great job you guys." Dan said. "Those bandits should've deserve more than that.... If I ever see 'em again, I'll throw them down to the ocean for the Sea Kings to eat them." Jack said in anger.

"Of course I was!!! I mean she's like a personal dairy farm!!" The girl yelled causing Crystal to become beat red and cover her chest. The temperature around the three of them dropped instantly, and their breaths could be seen clearly. "That's it you are so dead!"

 

"Ugh! I don't have time for this. I have to get the pearl before it's too late." Crystal calmed down confused. "Pearl? What pearl?" The girl rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms. "I don't have to tell you anything."

Sana went outside only after she finished eating. She figure that the guys would be able to easily handle whatever was going on out there. When she did she saw it was all over. "About time. You guys took your time with all of that. For a second there I thought I was going to have to handle it myself." She joked.

Trace sat in his boat with his legs crossed and his arms crossed over his chest. The ride to Bluedeep Island would be boring, but when he got there, he would sure have some fun. This Tupringer sounded tough though. She had a Mythical Zoan Type Devil Fruit like him. He would have to watch out for what she could do. He didn't have a doubt that he could defeat her, especially since he had the upperhand with his Rokushiki techniques, but it was just that he thought she might be tough to defeat. He didn't like tough battles because those always riled him up alot and he always came to the point of killing. The bloodlust that came when he transformed into his Devil Fruit's full form was just overwhelming. He still needed better control over that. He sat there with his eyes closed, unaware of his surroundings for some time. He was too involved in his own thoughts to notice anything.

"Sure Sana, we'll let you handle it next time." Jack responded with a grin. "That was amazing!!!" Muri exclaimed from afar. "You guys defeated those mountain bandits so easily!" Muri said with his eyes wide opened. "Of course, we're pirate afteralls. Well we're peace maines so odn't worry about us." Jack responded. "Wow! Umm.... I know this might be a little too forward, but can you guys help me and my apprentice with something?" Muri asked. "Help you and your apprentice? Do you mean the little kid named Yoh?" Jack asked. "Yes, oh by the way I'm Chef Muri. It's nice to meet you all." Muri said. "Oh, I'm Dan, Captain Dan. And these people are my crew mates. That's Sana, Arashi, Yura, Matticio, and.... Jack...." Dan said. "Hey! Why did you call my name last?! I was the first to join your crew!!!" Jack yelled in the background.

 

"Anyways, what do you and your apprentice need?" Dan asked. "Well you see. Tonight there will be a noble family coming to eat at my restaurant. All of the family members seem to hate each other due to their argument of who will get the late uncle's fortune. Now of course as a chef, I make food to tie people together and develop bonds, but it seems this family hates each other too much. The only way I can help them is by using the legendary Loom Fruit of Happiness to make dishes that will rid the family of their hostile feelings towards each other. You see, that's the Loom Fruit's power, it is said that whoever eats it, it will get rid of a person's negative feelings. However, you must only eat small pieces of it, or else your entire being changes. But anyways, the Loom Fruit Tree grows in high elevation where dangerous wildlife and mountain bandits who acquired devil fruit powers live." Muri explained.

 

"So you want us to help you and your apprentice reach this fruit and help to collect it?" Dan asked. "Yes exactly. All of you seems to be strong enough to take on those mountain bandits, so you have to help us please!" Muri pleaded. "Hey you guys, what do you think?" Dan asked his crew. "Yeah... I mean if it can help people then why not?" Jack responded. Yura just simply gave a nod.

As Trace's ship continued along, a giant Sea King appeared out of the water and attempted to eat Trace along with his ship. "RAWR!!!!" the Sea King roared ferociously as it attempted to eat Trace.

"Sure I'm game. Anything to help a fellow shef. Although, I've never heard of this Loom Loom Fruit before. I'm interedted to see how it looks." Sana said, muttering the last part to herself. She wondered what kind of dangerous monsters they'd incounter up this mountain. Apparently it's something horrible if they need people of their calibur.

"Umm, well actually it's just Loom Fruit. It's an extremely rare fruit but its not like a devil fruit or anything." Muri responded. "Alright, people, then let's do our best and help out these two shall we?" Jack said while wearing an explorer outfit. "What the- Jack where did you get that outfit? and what's more how did you change that fast?" Dan asked. "Haha, Dan, Dan, Dan...." Jack said as he moved his head from left to right. "Alright people, since we don't know what the Loom Tree looks like. We need to stick in a group." Jack said. "Well actually, here's a picture of the Loom Tree and the Loom Fruit." Yoh said while showing everybody the two pictures.

 

"I see.... Change of plans everyone. We will be splitting up into groups. Arashi, since you can fly, you will be searching in the air. Sana, you, Muri, and Yoh form a group. Matticio, you'll be searching the ground beneath Arashi. Yura, you and me will be a group, and Dan is with Dan. Alright everybody let's move out!" Jack said. "Wh-wh-wh-what?! I'm the captain!" Dan exclaimed. "Oh that's right you reminded me Dan. Here, everyone take a transponder snail for communication." Jack said as he handed a transponder snail to everyone. "How did I remin-" Dan was interrupted by Jack. "So everybody, let's head out!" Jack exclaimed.

 

At a nearby cave, a group of bandits had watched the events unfold using a transponder snail. "So they think they can make a fool out of us huh? Well, we'll teach them a lesson...." a man hidden by the shadow said calmly.

"This crazy girl is gonna get me killed" Daichi though to himself as his skin started feeling numb from the temperature drop. "It's nothing to get worked up over captain." Of course his natural instinct to keep people safe kicked in when the girl said she had to find a pearl. "You, little girl, are staying where you are. You are in no position to be doing anything except resting."

"Shouldn't be too much of a problem." Arashi said as he put his sword back in its sheath. "All right, I'm off." Arashi spread his wings and with a few flaps of his wings he was in the air and flying off.

Trace's eyes immediately flew open as he heard a large splash come from the water. He immediately turned around, where he had heard the splash from and saw a giant Sea King coming down on him with it's mouth open. "Heh...these things. Never know when they're messing with the wrong person." Trace said as he stood up within the small boat. He pulled his right leg back and then kicked it forwards swiftly. From his leg moved out a thin blue "air blade" like projectile. The air blade was very large, and it moved through the Sea King swiftly, cutting first through it's head and then the rest of it's body. "My my. I put too much strength into that one." Trace said as he watched the two halves of the Sea King fall back into the ocean. He then sat back in his boat and folded his arms across his chest while crossing his right leg over the left. This time, he kept his eyes open to scan around him for more dangers that dared to sneak up on him.

"Like I said, it's none of your buisness." Crystal rolled her eyes. "Listen here. We saved your life, so as far as I'm concerned you owe us to tell us what's going. Now why the hell are you looking for this pearl?"

 

"By the way, I'm Crystal Thorn. Captain of the Black Rose pirates. That's my first mate Daichi." The girl didn't look impressed and placed a hand on her hip. "Some crew you got here. It's only two people. Not much of a pirate crew if you ask me." Another tick mark formed on Crystal's forhead. "Anyway, I guess you have a point. Even though I DIDN'T ask for you to save me I guess I can answer that much. I'm Otsumi Nagamoru a professional diver."

 

"And what about this pearl you're searching for. What's so special about it?" Otsumi sighed looking out at the ocean. "It's called the Osami pearl. That pearlis supposed to give the owner great luck and wealth...But...It's almost impossible to get to. With all of the sea creatures down there. They even say there are sea warriors down there."

 

"Why would you need it? It doesn't seem like it's worth the trouble." Crystal said quickly blowing the whole thing off.

"Cool, so I get the two chefts. Let's get this show on the road." Sana grinned. "You guys might as well not even go, cause my group will be there before any of you."

Maverick spoke out,"Is it a good day to fish", Tomas said after he finished ,"it is always a good day to fish!"He had a big smile on his face until, Tomas went by Shin and started whispering,"So how did the buster call go. Actually mabey we should talk about this in the boat." me layed down some money to pay for the bill. As he walked away form the boat dock. Maverick asked,"So where are we going."

"Alright then everybody, we're off! Whoever finds the tree last will have to clean the restrooms on the ship!" Jack said as he began to ran towards the mountains along with Yura. "Alright Sana we should get going to." Muri said as he lead the way towards the mountains. "Sana, do you have a devil fruit power?" Yoh asked out of curiosity as they traveled towards the mountain.

 

"Humph.... Guess I'll go alone, and I'll be the first one there...." Dan said as he placed his hand on a nearby shadow of a tree. Suddenly, a board-like object rose to the air. The object is made out of shadow. Dan then jumped onto the board. "Alright, go." The board then flew off with Dan standing on top of it.

 

After awhile, Jack and Yura made their way to the mountains. "Alright, where should we start looking? Yura you got any ideas?" Jack asked as he looked around the bushes. "You know Jack, we're trying to find a tree.... not a bush...." Yura responded. "Hey! I know what I'm doing Yura! Besides, I don't see you doing any searching!" Jack responded. "I'm feeling the wind...." Yura responded as he closed his eyes. "Feeling the wind? What for? If your hot I can always use my Wind-Wind abilities to cool you off ya know that?" Jack replied while still crouching down, looking through the brush. "Whoa! Yura! Look what I found!" Jack exclaimed as he ran over to Yura to show him a gold nugget. Immediately, a big sweatdrop formed on Yura's forehead. "Umm..... Jack..... That's not gold..... That's dried excrements....." Yura replied. "Dried excrements? You mean.... CRAP!!!!!" Jack yelled out so loudly, anybody could hear his voice from a three miles away.

 

"What the- What is that idiot doing?" Dan said as he continued on his board. Just then, Dan collided with a tree, face-first. Dan then slowly fell to the ground. {THUMP} "Ouch....." Dan said quietly with a red line coming down from his face.

"Well, I'm thinking we should head out onto the Calm Belt since the boys are so interested in catching large, dangerous fish." Shin stated with a smile. "Cool! I'm totally gonna catch me a Sea King!!!!" George exclaimed. "Alright everybody, let's go to the ship!" Shin stated as he opened the door and waited for everybody to go out of the bar.

On Bluedeep Island, Allaine Tupringer and her crew were hoarding out some treasure onto their ship. "Alright men, hurry it up. We're burning daylight out here!" Allaine exclaimed. Allaine has an appearance of a young, voluptuous woman with large breasts. She has long, flowing orange hair, light skin, hazel eyes. Allaine's attire consists of a form-fitting, orange captain's coat, a white cloth shirt, unbuttoned to the point to reveal a large portion of her breasts, red pants, brown sea boots, and a bicorne captain's hat with her jolly roger symbol in the middle of the hat. She also carried around a cutlass and two flintlock pistols.

It took him some time, but Trace found himself pulling up close to a nearby island. The island looked huge from where he was in the boat. He continued sitting with his legs cross and his arms folded, not bringing any attention to himself. On the side of the island, he could see a ship. It was quite large. "Ah...good. She's still there." he said to himself. He wished that his boat could move faster, but he had to just go with what he could manage. He just hoped that the ship didn't sail off by the time that he got there, or worse, the people on the ship saw him approaching before he could even get there. If that happened, the situation could turn horrible, but he was sure he could handle it.

Allaine's crew had just finished loading the last of the treasure onto their ship. "Alright men, today's expedition of finding the map to Captain John's Treasure Island has failed, but, we did stumble upon a myriad of treasure! Tonight, we feast!" Allaine exclaimed as she held a golden cup into the air as a sign of a toast. "YEAH!!!!" the crew members yelled out in celebration of their findings. "Good job to all, now let's take our ship back to our hideout!" Allaine commanded. "Humph.... Silly Marine, do you think I haven't notice you yet...." Allaine said quietly to herself. Near Trace's boat, five more Sea Kings arose from the sea. It appears as though the Sea Kings might be linked to Allaine Tupringer.

"It is nice to meet you." Nova said. Her eye's widened when he spoke about hiding her ship along for the ride. She didn't expect him to want to come along. But she was glad that he wanted to. "Well If you are worried about hiding my ship why not just put my ship in your ship?" She said with a snicker. She then grabbed Ifrits hand and pulled him towards her. "This is my ship. I'm sure he could fit in your ship." Ifrit waved at K. "I am Ifrit, ship of the Djinn pirates." He said. he thought it was right to introduce himself since everyone else was.

 

Kurage remained near her captain spoke up once everyon started to introduce themselves. "The names Kurage. I am The first mate." She smiled afterwards.

Eureka was lagging behind when he realized that The other pirate crew was willing to help them on their adventure to the peninsula. He ran to catch up to them. "Don't forget me! I am Eureka, Doctor of the Djinn pirates and momentarily the cook as well." He said trying not to drop his suitcase as he stumbled towards them.

 

From above in the crows nest of K's ship Pandora watched the group of pirates. From their body language it seemed like they were getting along and didn't pose a threat. Pandora made his way down off the ship and looked at the unknown pirates. "Whats the game plan Captain K?" Pandora said walking over to him wondering what was going on.

"I hope you have a very good idea as to where this thing is, because there is no way you'll ever find a pearl under the ocean." Daichi scratched his head in irritation. "Well, I can't let you go back out there. You need rest."

"Well that's..... Interesting." Riki stared at Ifrit. "I'm assuming you ate a devil fruit.......That's weird, the only kind of fruit that lets the user transform is Zoan, and I was under the impression that Zoan fruits only turned people in to animals." Riki then thought about all of the damage that ships received in ship battles. "I would hate to be in your position."

[Allesk]

"Well I am a ship before I am human. The zoan fruit was the human-human fruit that I consumed. Every ship has a spirit. So even before i was able to take form into a human I was still somewhat living." Ifrit looked at his captain, Nova. "I trust my captain and I know she will protect me as best as she can. Also Ship's do take damage but in the ship form I don't really feel anything. If I transform into the human form after being damaged Eureka can heal me, thus repairing the ship."

"Put your ship in my own?" Kadyr began when he saw Nova pulling forward the man with auburn hair who introduced himself as her ship. Interesting. I figured there was something weird about that ship. It shrank and disappeared when I watched it from far away. Which one is the true form? The human form or the ship form? Kadyr was wondering just how the ship could become a human when he had said that he ate the human-human fruit. This intrigued Kadyr even more, but he didn't say anything about it.

 

Just then, Pandora came down from the ship and asked Kadyr what his plans were. "We're going to help Nova find her lost crewmates. They're said to be somewhere on a peninsula north of here. We need to hurry because it was said cannibals live there too. Nova and her crew are coming along." Kadyr said in his quiet voice. He hoped that everyone had heard what he had said, because he didn't want to repeat it again. "Let's go." Kadyr said and began walking forward, heading towards the ship to board it.

Trace kept his eyes on the island before him, not wanting to take his eyes off of it and lose the ship which had been docked there. He could hear the faint shouts coming from the ship. They must have been celebrating. Trace would soon put an end to that celebration. As he was continuing along, suddenly five sea kings rose up from the sea around him. He quickly stood up and stared at all of them. "With this many attacking, there's no way I can take them all out while still keeping my cover." Trace said. "Oh well. Let's dance." he said as his body seemed to disappear with incredible speed. In the next second, he was above one of the sea beasts, kicking down towards it. With his kick was released another one of those blue "air blades". This blade crashed into the beasts head, slicing through it all the way down it's body.

 

Trace then kicked off the air itself, as if he had been standing on a regular floor, and disappeared once more. He appeared in front of two of the sea beasts, his leg kicking outwards once more. This time, an even larger "air blade" was released. Trace didn't put too much power into the kick, but it was enough to knock the wind from the beasts upon slamming into their throats. Trace then kicked off of the air once more, and flew forward at a Sea King that was behind him. It's mouth was open, and it was about to chomp down on him. He lifted his hands and shaped them like guns, with the pointer fingers sticking out and the thumb lifted up. "Shigan Barrage." he muttered. He pressed both thumbs down, and suddenly, multiple holes riddled the body of the Sea King. Blood then leaked out from the many holes, and it fell back down into the sea.

 

He quickly spun around to face the last Sea King, which was bearing down on him. "Tekkai Gou" he called out as he reached his hands up and caught the sides of the beast's mouth and held it open. He pulled his leg back and then kicked forward as he said "Eat this." Another blue "air blade" was released, and it traveled down the Sea Kin's mouth, carving through it's insides. Trace let the beast's mouth go and then stood on the air. He sighed and shifted his hands into his pockets. "I guess I better head over there now." he said hovering slowly down to his boat, which had continued on without him, with Geppou.

 

By now, he was closer to the island, and so he quickly docked his boat close to the shore and got out. He then stood there with his hands in his pockets and stared at the large ship before him some ways across the shore. "How troublesome." he mumbled as he began walking over to the ship.

"Oh yeah. I heard somewhere that there was a way to put devil fruits in to non living objects." Riki laughed. "That's bad ass." He followed the rest of the crew back to there ship. "Well for now you can take a brake from cooking Eureka. I'll keep everybody fed when they're on our ship."

Arashi flew over the area trying to find anything that looked like the loom fruit. "Didn't that cook guy say something about there being a bunch of devil fruit eaters up here?" He thought to himself as he searched. "Maybe I should just find one of them and try to get then to tell me where the loom fruit is." He started flying lower until his feet touched the ground. "Although most normal people wont be a match for a devil fruit eater, but i don't think i will have any problem. I just hope it's not a Logia type, I hate those things."

"So you don't like Logia-type devil fruit powers huh? Well that's just too bad...." a voice taunted. The voice came from a nearby mountain bandit. The mountain bandit was huge, being at 10'00" and weighing a whopping 489 lbs. The bandit is bald and he has a large scar on his forehead. The mountain bandit wore a sleeveless, unbuttoned brown vest, a blue sash, tan trousers, and brown boots. The mountain bandit was fairly tan with a brainless look on his face. He also was missing a tooth in the middle of his upper teeth line. "Yo Boulder, hurry up and take care of this guy so we can go home and eat!" an accompanying mountain bandit exclaimed confidently. "Hahaha! Alright then! Now you'll die Lizard man!" Boulder yelled out as he lift a giant boulder up into the air and threw it at Arashi.

 

"Nasty!" Jack yelled out in annoyance while he wash his hands in a nearby stream. "Man, just my luck huh? And I thought I was going to uncover some kind of secret treasure or something." Jack continued. "Looks.... can be decieving...." Yura said as he leaned against a tree. "Hey! It's easy for you to see! You're not the one that had to touch crap!" Jack responded as he pointed an index finger at Yura. A black leech was on Jack's finger, feeding off of his blood. "Huh? GAH!!!! Leech!!!!" Jack yelled as he run around in circles holding his finger outwards. Yura had a big sweatdrop on his forehead again. "Jack..... sometimes I wonder about your stable wellbeing....." Yura said.

 

Dan had spent a large amount of time walking around and searching in circles. "Damn it! I'm pretty sure I saw that exact same squirrel five times already!" Dan said as he pointed to the squirrel who was casually eating an acorn and then looked up at Dan. "How could a stupid tree be so hard to find?!" Dan then took out his journal and wrote angrily into it. "Hah! Take that nature!" Dan said with a satisfied smile of his face. Just then, a hawk swopped by and grabbed Dan's journal. "Oh?" A vein suddenly popped up on Dan's forehead. "YOU STUPID BIRD!!!! GET BACK HERE!!!! I'LL ROAST YOU ALIVE!!!!" Dan said while chasing after the hawk.

As Trace neared the ship's location, Allaine pretended to walk towards the ship. A smirk formed on Allaine's face as well as some of her crew members. "Fire!"
