"Humph.... I understand what this sword means to you...." Rafael said as he stopped rotating the sword. "Here...." Rafael then threw the sword back to Ragnarok. "This ring...." Rafael started as he took off one of his ring and showed it to Ragnarok. "This ring is from my adoptive mother while I was on Calico Jack's ship, working as a navigator.... The funny thing is.... That she was younger than me...." Rafael then placed his ring back onto his finger. "You know.... I have never fought a battle that the Marine wanted me to fight in.... It's because.... of this ring.... and a promise...." Rafael then held his sword up. "Now, let's battle." Rafael said.

[Navras]

Ragnarok caught his sword in mid air and looked at it. A Beautiful sword that seemed to appear blue in the moon light with a silver handle and a jewle incrested blade.

"Finally," Ragnarok said, stabbing his sword into the ground and riasing his claymore with both hands. "Now, try defending rather than running away!"

Ragnarok sprinted forward, holding the claymore down at his side as he ran. When he was no more tahn four feet away from Rafael, he brought his blade upward, still running forward reguardless of whether or not Rafael blocked his lade or not.

Rafael was not a Warlord for nothing, his skills at swordsmanship are well respected. "I don't need to run...." Rafael calmly said as he parried Ragnarok's attack easily. Rafael then moved his sword in a direction which made Ragnarok's sword flew off from his hand. Rafael then aimed a slash towards Ragnarok's chest but then disappeared and reappeared behind Ragnarok and kicking him in the back. The force of the teleportation add to the power of Rafael's kick. Rafael the teleported once again, this time reappearing in front of Ragnarok and aiming a stab through Ragnarok's skull.

[Navras]

Ragnarok went tumbling forward at the force of Rafael's kick. But he too wasn't a warlord for nothing. He dugg his heel into the dock to stop his tumbling nad made himself stand up straight, even though he was still sliding. Luckily for him, he had seen Rafael teleport in front of him before and was ready. Ragnarok took a strong grip on his claymore and swung it around in a circle behind him, aiming to cut Rafael in half if he didn't teleport, which Ragnarok believed he would do. Either that or try to block.

Matticio woke up and stood on the Deck of the ship. it appeared that he had been sleeping for qiuite some time now,when he sw the light of day he tried to block it out with his arm. He had heard some comostion from the deck that woke him up, however he saw this as appropriate as he had been sleeping for to long anyway. Matticio Yawned and asked. "What's..going on?" Matticio then walked to the side of the hip and leaned on it folding his arms.

Dan saw Matticio had woke up. "ah yes good morning Matticio. Well, we arrived at Commi Island, and we're about to head out once Sana has woke up." Dan explained.

Rafael, instead of teleporting, held his cutlass in front of him and blocked the attack, but the force of the swing was strong and combined that with the momentum of Ragnarok, forced Rafael back a far distance, almost enough so to fall into the water if not for Rafael stabbing his cutlass into the ground to stop his movements. Rafael then got up from his knee and pulled his cutlass out of the ground. "That was a pretty powerful blow." Rafael commented. "But I'm not done yet...." Rafael charged at Ragnarok and used his devil fruit's second ability to rapidly move his arm, thus, hyper-cutting Ragnarok with his cutlass. The speed of Rafael's slashes were so fast that it appeared as if Rafael's arm had disappeared.

Shock formed on Kadyr's face when he saw Nova take out the bounty hunters with such ease. They didn't even last long against her. She had skill, he had to admit that, and strength. His shocked expression was unseen, however, since his face was shrouded by the shadows of his hood. He stood there for some time, listening to Riki talk about how she had killed the bounty hunters. He would have killed them as well. For taking him on three on one, they were too much of cowards to continue living. Nova had gotten to it first though. Kadyr looked up, revealing a little of his face within the shadows of his hood. His face was slightly tanned as if he had spent all his life out in the sun, and young looking. "Wait." Kadyr called out to Nova as she began walking away. He was hoping she would turn around to answer him. Maybe he could amuse himself on this island for some time by helping her find her lost crew member. He didn't want someone to be lost like he had been as a child. It would pain him alot if he didn't at least try to find them. Something his parents didn't even try to do.

"Vincent we need to go. Don't cause a scene I want to find our crew as quickly as possible." Just then before she continued onwards she heard the man who told her to be lady like. Only this time he was trying to get her attention. She turned back around. "Yes?" She asked in a friendly tone. She began to walk towards him so she could hear better. She ignored Riki. She wasn't planning to fight with this crew. He was being over cautious. Nova tilted her head sideways. The man was so hidden. He never really talked and wore a lot of clothing to hide himself under. "Look if your mad that I took out those men, I apologies. They called us loosers. I just had to release my anger somewhere."

 

Kurage was glad that she passed Nova when she did. She never expected Nova to attack like that. But what took her by surprise most was that K called out to her. "What are you planning?" She said under her breath. It didn't seem like K to go out of his way to speak. Something must have been up.

Kadyr watched as Nova turned back and answered him. He didn't think that she actually would. He thought that she would still be upset with him. But nonetheless, he had to ask her if he could help. He wanted to find those lost crew members. "Your lost crew members..." Kadyr began. "Where are they?" Kadyr asked. He didn't really like this, but he also would never forgive himself if he had known someone was lost and had never gone out to find them. "I misjudged you." Kadyr mumbled. He had done that with Pandora, Kurage, and Toni as well. He had believed that they were like everyone else. Only showing compassion to further their own goals. This woman reminded him of Toni when he had first met her. She was being nice to him, while he was only being rude.

Nova giggled. "Well If I knew that they wouldn't be lost." She said with a smile. "I was going to look in town to see if anyone there knows. I heard there was a fourtune teller here. If I have any chances of finding out its with there." Nova smiled at him. It was rare for another pirate to care about someone he hadn't even met. But he seemed like he was offering to help. "I was headed there and I'm going to pick up a Log Pose on the way." Ifrit was sceptical about the other pirate crew. He didn't know what to think about them. So he remained close behind Nova.

Kadyr was feeling like he should just leave more and more, but he had to help those lost members. As soon as he helped find them, then he would leave. "My crew needs a Log Pose as well. We'll follow your crew for the time being." Kadyr said. He didn't want to come right out and say that he was going to help, but by saying that they would follow her crew, then that would make it easier for him to help without saying it. He slowly walked over to Nova, and it seemed as if he was going up to her to apologize, but instead he went past her. He then stopped by her side. "I know what it feels like to be lost. I don't want anyone to feel the same way I felt during those horrible days fending for myself." he said. "Let's go." he said to his crew.

Vincent did as Nova said, and calmed down. Even though he knew she could easily protect herself, he had grown protective over his aptain. Nove was the first person to ever befriend him....Even if he didn't want it in the beginning. He walked up on the opposite side of Nove, not trusting the other crew so close to his own.

 

Toni was quite surprise when K was going to help them. Even if he didn't come right out and say it, she knew her captain well enough by now. She was instantly by his side when he told them to move. "Should I scout ahead for one? A log Pose I mean."

After eating their fill of food, Crystal finally decided to leave. Of course only after paying the large bill. "Lets go Daichi, we need to keep going! Get yourself together and get a move on!" She yelled enthusiastically while running to the ship.

Sana walked out of her room and onto the deck, feeling much better than yesterday. Once there she saw everyone, minuc Arashi, there waiting. "Sorry for keeping you all waiting. I'm ready now."

You mean we actually have to help them?" Riki complained as he watched his fellow crew members leave the ship. Riki grunted slightly. "I guess we can't let the crew members suffer just because I don't like there captain." He said under his breath before following the others.

"Yeah I'm coming." Daichi put some money on the table for the tip and followed Crystal. "I can't wait until we get to the grand line. I hear that there are creatures even larger than ships everywhere you go." Daichi's eyes lit up at the though of a sea king. "Just imagine if I could turn in to one of those things. That would be so cool."

After Arashi finished parts of the island he flew back to the docks to meet his crew members. "

"Oh, good morning Sana. It looks like your health has gotten better. Well then everybody, let's go." Dan, Jack, and Yura walked off to the docks and saw Arashi waiting for them. "Yo Arashi!" Jack yelled from afar, waving his hand in the air. As the group walked over, Dan looked at the town that was near to them. "So you found anything troublesome Arashi?" Jack asked. Yura walked over and looked at Arashi. "You looked a little bit better.... Have you taken your medicine?...." Yura asked.

Kurage stepped infront of Riki cutting him off. "Don't complain about the captain's orders. He has a reason for everything. If you trust him as your captain then you shouldn't have a problem with what he chooses to do." Kurage believed that everything their captain said was law. "In order for some one to trust you you also have to show that you trust them, and you can be trust worthy." She then smiled at him and jogged to catch up to K. She liked being near his side incase something happened she was there to help.

 

Nova looked at Vincent. "Don't worry Vinny there is no trouble here. These people are friends." Nova always easily considered people friends. She had a terrible temper but a loving heart. "Alright then We shall go, I already said this but My name is Nova. This is my crew, the Djinn pirates. First stop will be the Log Pose then we will go to the fourtune teller. Your welcome to stay with us as long as you like." And with that Nova turned around and begain to head into town. Ifrit still right behind her, and hopefully the rest of her crew followed. The reached the shop that Sold log poses, but Nova couldn't find any. She walked up to the lady at the counter and asked where they were. "We are all sold out and do not get another shipment until tomorrow." Nova sighed. "Alright I guess, Let's go to the fourtune tellers then." She said to Ifrit and her crew. When Nova was walking fown the crowded town she saw a building. The building had a huge crystal ball on top of it. There was a large sign that said "Preminitions" on it. "Guess this is it." Nova walked into the strange building. There was purple cloth hanging from the ceiling and string with beads on it were used as doors. Suddenly from behind a cloth a tiny woman appeared. There were wrinkles all over her face. He little hands had a slight shake to them. She was draped with odd multicolored clothes and dazzled with jewls and shiny objects. "I new you would come" The woman said to Nova.

Maverick kept the wood tightly in his hand and waved to Barra to follow, Barra spoke to him softly what is so important about that old hunk of wood "This wood if from the Thousand Sunny and is one of the only maps left to find the treasure the ship Left Behind. The black stone is from a 1000 Year Old salvaging ship. Simply put it will allow you to flow the trail the boat took on its travels across the world glowing red when you are on the wright trail. if we use it then we can follow the Thousand Sunny even after it is gone."

"So what what was the Thousand Sunny."

Maverick stopped and was almost angry at him,"You call your self a pirate and you don't know the ship of the king. There is one problem with it. i have no where to start from. if i start at the wrong place it will take me years to find it."

"The Thousand Sunny was a fine vessel, worthy of the late Pirate King. I just hope we can find the other treasure we've been looking for. It's been awhile since I heard the legend of the-" Finn was interrupted by Woodes. "We cannot discuss that here.... Wait unitl we get on the ship at least. By the way Maverick, who is Rafael fighting over there?" Woodes said as he pointed to Rafael and Ragnarok. "Does he need our help, cause I'm ready for battle any day!" La Buse asked.

Maverick looked at them,"If you want to fight go right ahead. Me this Whole pace would sink and Barra would have to save my life again, because if you could notice i can't swim. It would nearly kill me to keep my darkness up to suck in the water. If he need to find us i have my Vivre Card on my ship. If anything Captain Jack can come back with us to say hi to the boy."

Barra kept on walking,"I would love to fight but it would be to easy for me to sink the place surrounded by water and all.

Matticio walked off the ship following everyone, he was still quite tired but was satisified due to his wounds being better. He now felt slightly renewed as if he would never return to his ways, the adventure these pirates were expriencing were more of a thrill for matticio then the payback he was giving to the marines. Commi island was quite big, the sky was a calm blue and the oceans current was smooth and showed a sense safety.

Pierce and Dawn began walking to the shore of commi island, they had taken a flier off the ground that showed a bounty reward of 40,000,000 BELI for the capture of the purple Scorp Captain Drud Purple Arm. As they continued to walk to their small ship Dawn asked Pierce.

 

"So this purple Arm guy, i assume his eaten Devils Fruit?"

 

Pierce sighed. "who doesn't these days. He has the SCORP SCORP Fruit. basically his right arm is a giant scorpian tail. Nothing to much to handle really."

 

"Crew size?" Dawn asked.

 

"Only 50, shouldn't be to much. As they left the small town and arrived at the shore, Pierce put his arm in front of Dawn signaling for them to stop, they had noticed a pirate ship land on the shore and be greeted by someone.

 

"Devilbats." Pierce said.

 

"Do we fight?" dawn questioned.

 

Pierce shaked his head. "No, for now let's get this bounty and give it to the town that was destroyed by pirates."

"Eh.... I'll sink too if I use my devil fruit's power. Well anyways, we had to use another ship. The Atlas is far to big and noticeable to put around here. So follow me Maverick, you and Captain Jack got a lot to catch up on...." Woodes stated as they arrived at the far end of the platform, behind the bar. A small ship named the Little Queen was docked nearby. "Well let's go shall we." Woodes, Finn, and La Buse quickly entered, leaving the walkway down for Maverick and Barra.

"Trust?" Riki thought to himself "You say that. But the captain doesn't trust any of us except you.". He sighed as he followed the others, but he left plenty of space between himself and the group encase somebody tried anything. "What a pain." He mumbled under his breath.

"No worries, I searched the island and there shouldn't be any trouble. If there is somebody I didn't notice, they probably won't be too hard to take out." Arashi laughed nervously when Yura brought up the medicine. "Well anyways. There are some cool places to look around. Mainly Arlong park, it's where the pirate king beat the fishman Arlong."

[Navras]

Ragnarok lifted hs sword up only at the last moment to avoid behind cut in half by Rafael's attack, though at a cost. The speed of Rafael's attack added momentum tot he blade, and from just blocking it sent Ragnarok back onto the wall of the saloon.

 

Inside a drunk pirate, sitting by the wall, looked at where the loud thud came from and shouted, "Mind your own buisnesss!" before hitting the wall.

 

Ragnarok looked back at Rafael and sighed.

"We are getting agrivated."

Ragnarok stood up straight again and looked around for one of his swords. Finding none, he sighed again and said, "Yes we are."

Ragnarok lowered his claymore with one hand and lifted the other, a faint shimmer like the heat of the sun coming from his hand. He pointed his hand at Rafael and suddenly it was a flint-lock pistol instead of his hand.

"Boom."

He fired a shot at Rafael.

"Oh well at least we don't need to worry about wasting energy on any battling. Well, I guess it's time to go to that restaurant now. I'm hungry as hell...." Jack said while he's rubbing his stomach. "Yes let's go. Afterwards we can go check out that Arlong Park." Dan said as he began walking towards town. "Don't forget about buying supplies.... That's the main reason why we're here afterall.... And Arashi.... I'll need to speak with you later about something....." Yura said as he followed Dan, then followed by Jack. "I heard great things about this restaurant, it's no Baratie, but it's still has awesome food, from what I heard." Jack said.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Rafael quickly teleported in place, making the bullet bounce off due to the force the teleportation created. Rafael then dashed towards Ragnarok again, slashing right and left at high speeds. Rafael also tried to cut off both of Ragnarok's arms to disable him.

[Navras]

Ragnarok was able to perry the swipes at his left arm, the one holding his claymore, by was unable to block the ones to the right. The result of which made a rather large gash in his upper arm. Ragnarok grunted nad stumbled back a bit, unable to raise his arm. He looked down at the wound, and like before with his hand, The skin began to stitch itself together again with it's own skin. Ragnarok changed his hand back to normal and said, "Surely you must see this is pointless! I'm immortal, for the most part, neither you nor Calico Jack can kill me. Give up, I will eventualy catch you. I've got all the time in the world, while you've only got until you get tired."

Ragnarok changed his right hand into an axe blade with a wicked back side, stabbed his claymore into the dock, and did the same with his other hand. He charged at where Rafael now stood, leaning down low to give him an advantage on speed. Just a few feet away from Rafael, Ragnarok jumped into the air and spun, creating a deadly pin-wheel effect aimed directly for Rafael from above.

As Ragnarok neared Rafael, Rafael himself charged into the air and collided with Ragnarok. Rafael suffered a few hits, but it was needed to end this battle. "(This battle has dragged out long enough. I don't want to waste anymore time....)" The space around Rafael and Ragnarok began to distort. "Surely you must know that your powers won't work in water...." Rafael said as a small wormhole appeared, pulling Ragnarok into it and then closing. Rafael then landed onto his body. "Ugh.... Damn it.... That was too big of a strain on me...." Another rift opened up and out came Ragnarok. Below Ragnarok was a small island. Rafael decided not to kill him, even though Rafael hates Ragnarok for his horrific deeds. The island was far out at sea, located at a different place around the world.
