[align=center]I didn't exactly see a rule saying that we can't have Music Review threads or the such, so, as a result, I will do one.

 

Rules: I trust you all know rules and can abide them.

YCM rules apply and Music Section rules apply.

 

I will review songs in a non-biased way, or attempt to. If lyrics are not understandable, please post lyrics or a link to lyrics that are accurate.

 

All genres are eligible to be reviewed.

 

Any who has a song or group/band they wish to be reviewed, please say so.

 

 

[spoiler=Beelzeboss by Tenacious D]

 

This song is a very good laugh from Jack Black. A very good mix of humor and skill. The song really sticks to me from when I first heard it, it still does today. The only problem is the vocals of the Devil, as they could be done better. I honestly say I can't think of anything wrong with it.

The riffs in this song are killer. The vocals are really deep and scratchy, and I like it. The solo is really demonic, and it just speaks to me in a demonizing laughter that says, "This song is pure kickass and you love it." That laughter is right. The video provided also gives me a better feel for the song that alone, as demonic in nature it looks and such.

Really good song. I'd rate it 9.4 out of 10, if I were to follow a rating system.

Honestly speaking, I didn't expect Orchestral/Symphonic music would go with beats like that. Didn't see it coming. I do however, agree that it goes pretty well, I can say that the meanings are deep. I can't see anything wrong. I can say that it really ties together the beats and the vocals as well.

A song that purely provides a taste of Death with Melody, suiting the moment of being alone. Truely, it gives a surge to me, as I started to sing along, without knowing of course. The inhaling in this song is very rare to me, never saw an inhale, or actually, heard the inhale before, which made the song interesting to me. Vocals here in this song are purely beyond meaning, they are meaning. I'd like to point out, that this song gave me a sweat from being so awesome. It's an A+ in my book.

Ah, Finish Metal, always a treat for me. And what's more, it's Melodic Metal. Vox here give me an edge of stisfaction, with riffs that are just pure mad, with excelling drums. The double solo in this song gives me a unique expierience, providing the rich lyrical meaning behind this. The hate shown towards the mirror and the face it's reflecting is very deep. The video however, it seems quite out of sync. The lip sync though. Only thing I saw wrong.

Some kind of song, the beats are pretty good, they prrovide good taste to me, despite the fact I don't normally listen to music like this. However, I kind of like this, the singer, as I interpretted (spelling?), seems to be questioning nature with it's apparent laws and such. The quesioning however, gives me the feel of the song, but this was how I interpretted the song. However, it's truly a great song. F- for Failing. (If you don't get it, it means it's a fail at failing. It's good.)

why havent the links worked for u? also ull be able to know just type in youtube Michael bolton i can go the distance and find a song that has a small instrumental at the start.

 

The links haven't worked probably because of where I'm living at the moment.

And I searched youtube for Micheal Bolton, gave a link, and you said it wasn't it.

Regardless, when I moved, I can actually looked at the video, and then review it.

Till then, you'll simply have to wait.
