Mortal Kombat: The Revenge

If you're probably guessing which timeline of Mortal Kombat this is, this is the story of Mortal Kombat III, the game. Now, like the other movies, I'll be going along with the story of the games. The first Mortal Kombat movie was based off the first game, while Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was based off Mortal Kombat II, I think. Luckily, they changed that, making Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks the inner sequel/prequel of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II. MKII is even a demo in the game. How great is that, even though you have to beat the 5 Smoke Missions to unlock it.

 

Anyway, this Fic is based off of Mortal Kombat III, but in my way, continuing from where Annihilation left off. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this.

In the beginning, Liu Kang, and a few chosen fighters from the Earthrealm, defeated Outworld sorcerer Shang Tsung.

 

According to the rules of Mortal Kombat, their victory preserved the safety of the Earth for one more generation.

 

Our chosen ones return to Liu Kang's home on Earth, only to enjoy a brief period of peace...

 

For someone from Outworld had a different point of view.

 

Shao Kahn, emperor of Outworld, entered and invaded the Earth, breaking the rules of Mortal Kombat, that Shang Tsung and his warriors had to win 10 straight victories in order to enter Earthrealm and invade. They had only won 9, and the 10th was won by Earthrealm, ending the winning streak.

 

When Shao Kahn entered Earthrealm, he brought along his demon army and his most powerful warriors, all appearing in specific order...

 

Motaro. A demon Centaur that is highly known for the hunting prowess and loyal to Shao Kahn for any order given to him.

 

Sheeva. A female Shokan who was titled the "personal protector of Queen Sindel" and is Motaro's enemy.

 

Ermac. One of Shao Kahn's generals. He is not one, but many. An amalgam of many souls destroyed in Outworld's wars who came to be controlled by Shao Kahn and his shadow priests.

 

Rain. The general of Shao Kahn's extermination squads, ranking higher than Motaro, Sheeva and Ermac, but was killed by Kahn for not following the order of killing 2 of Earth's best warriors, Kabal and Stryker.

 

Sindel. Original queen of Edenia and Kitana's daughter. She was murdered by Kahn, and resurrected for Kahn's ultimate plan. After Rain's death, she was given the role of General.

 

There was a legend that would lead to Kahn closing his portals to Earth and was supported by the Elder Gods. Unfortunately, the legend was but a lie. And so, Kahn had to die in order to close the portals.

 

And so it did. Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Kitana, and Jax defeated Kahn and his most powerful warriors, returning the world as it was before the invasion.

 

I, Raiden, Elder God of Thunder, will be watching over our heroes as they live their lives as a family. That is, if they will get that chance.

 

Exactly 3 months after the earth was safe, I heard that Shao Kahn has escaped from the Netherrealm and reentered Outworld.

 

Kahn shall have revenge on our Chosen Ones, no matter what it takes.

 

He came in control of the Tarkatan army and brought out Baraka to have him be a part of something else, which is unknown. Kahn has created a portal to Earthrealm for the Tarkatan army may invade and destroy the Temple of the Order of Light.

 

The Tarkatan army has already began its destruction, and I have informed Liu Kang of it and is informing his friends to help. Kitana was once again prisoner, but this time, Kahn has blocked off all secret passageways to prevented any of the guards to open their gates accept for Kahn.

 

Now, a war is just the beginning. Our Chosen Ones will stop at nothing to find Kitana, put an end to Shao Kahn and bring peace back to Earthrealm.

 

I also heard that Shinnok, my father, is imprisoned in the Netherrealm and stripped of his title of the Elder God.

 

The world is in peril. The only way to settle things is decided as it should be. In...
