Nura looked at the girl, So what are your extra rules, it isn't ante rules is it? Nura was surprised, this girl didn't seem like the type to take other peoples cads but he had learned to never judge a book by its cover, but of course this girls cover was already pretty unusual. As long as its not something unfair I don't mind extra rules, it can sometimes make a duel more fun. Nura was happily that he could get a duel in though all he showed was a slight smirk.

Cross gave a cold glance to Shiva. Cross snapped his fingers and the tail wen away. He was not in the mood to be taking orders from her, especially after she cried about being friends with him. Only to want to play with someone else.

 

KALI Stared at Pandora for a while before responding in an expressionless tone.

Okay then

They both walked a bit farther from each other to give space for the duel.

Since I am the challenger I will start this duel.

I draw.

I set 3 cards face-down on the field and summon Brron, Mad King of Dark World

I end my turn.

"You'll see! <3" SHIVA told Nura as they stepped outside and started their duel.

"I draw, and I play Fabled Sanctuary!" (Hand: 5)

The plaza shifted into a beautiful, yet dark, natural forest that seemed to have a timeless quality to it.

"I will discard The Fabled Peggulsus to Special Summon The Tricky from my hand!"

A face-down monster appears on SHIVA's field as a strange magician with a question mark on its face popped into existence. (Hand: 3)

"Now I Normal Summon Fabled Ashenveil!"

A large, bulky fiend swooped in from above. (1600 ATK) (Hand: 2)

"I will now set a face-down card, play Field Barrier, then activate the effect of my Fabled Sanctuary, drawing a card!" (Hand: 1)

"I end my turn!"

Monsters: The Tricky (2000 ATK), Fabled Ashenveil (1600 ATK), 1 FD

Spells/Traps: Fabled Sanctuary, Field Barrier, 1 FD

 

SHIVA then received DURGA's message, and responded.

Zack was sleeping on a long, thick tree branch "ZzzZzzZzzZzzZzzZzzZzzZzzzzzZzzzZZZZZZZzzz." Zack snored loudly. "ZzzZzzzzzZzzzzzz-Huh? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OOPH!" Zack yelled... very loudly as he rolled over and fell out of the tree "Ow." he stated as virtual birds started flying away as he got to his feet "OK. My deck is still here. That's a relief." Zack stated with a smile.

Nura looked at the his opponents Field as he drew his cards,I'll summon Kubinashi in attack mode, next I'll activate my 'Red Moon' Spell card this gives DARK monsters an additional 500 ATK, now I'll have him attack your The Tricky, not only that but when Kubinashi is the one attacking you can't activate your Face Downs Nura's monster used its strings to bind your Face Down cards as his monster went on the offensive.

Monsters: Kubinashi (1600ATK + 500 = 2100ATK)

A fissure opened up beneath Kubinashi and The Tricky dragged him down into the underworld.

"Michizure can only be activated when a monster is destroyed, but it allows me to destroy your monster!"

 

 

The Clown Warriors had gathered as Pandora drew her card.

"I draw, and I play Toon Table of Contents, allowing me to add Toon World to my hand, which I will now activate!"

A large pop-up book came out of nowhere and flipped to a pair of pages depicting a cartoony circus. (Pandora: 3000 LP)

"Now I will Normal Summon Clown Warrior - Mion!"

A Clown Warrior leapt out of the crowd and appeared on Pandora's side of the field, this one with red facepaint, green and red hair, and a red and yellow outfit that was the least-revealing of all of the Clown Warriors' attires. She also wielded a pistol and a katana. (1700 ATK)

"Now I can Special Summon Clown Warrior - Shion from my Deck!"

Another Clown Warrior that looked similar, yet different, from Mion came onto the field. She had green facepaint and a regular Clown Warrior's outfit. She carried two tasers. (1700 DEF)

"I will set two face-down cards and end my turn!"

Nura watched as his monster was dragged to the graveyard he then looked at his hand, When I have no monsters on my side of the Field I can activate this effect of Hyakki Yakou, I'll send one Monster in my hand to the graveyard to Special Summon another so come out Karasu Tengu, and when he's summoned I roll a dice and depending on the number an elements effects will be sealed so Dice Roll. With that a dice appeared and finally landed on six, A number six means that light monsters effects are now null, though I can't attack so I'll just set one card and, by your cards effect I'll draw another and end my turn.

Monsters: Karasu Tengu (2300ATK + 500 = 2800ATK)

Cross heard a loud scream and signaled James to follow him before deciding to run to the source to see who it was.

 

 

KALI looked at Pandora

My turn. (3 Cards in hand) I activate Dark world Dealings. I Draw. I discard Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World( 2 Cards in Hand)

Her voice was very monotonous.

Because of my Kahkki I am allowed to destroy 1 monster on the field and I choose Clown Warrior Shion. Next I activate my face-down Lightning vortex to destroy your remaining monsters by discarding 1 card.

James looked to Jasmine, then followed the guy, who still hasn't told James his name. I don't think they allow that here. Might get kicked otu of here if he doesn't, um, fix that... And that cat lady, she bothers me. From what I could over hear, she said something about a risk. I feel bad for that guy dueling him, he could be in for a lot of trouble if he loses. James and Jasmine continued following him.

Cross looked back to see if James had taken his invitation to go with him and inspect the screaming sound that came from the forrest.

Oh you did come! I was worried you hadn't followed me, James

Cross peered through the bushes outside the forest and wondered.

I wonder who's scream that was..

James looked to the guy who he had followed. "I couldn't tell yah, um... what's your name? I remember you know, but you never told me your name." Like just about everyone else here...

"Another good question is why are you... um... you know..."

"Yeh, that might get you kicked out of here you know. I think thats against the rule here..." James looked around for the person who screams, but saw no one.

Oh...I'm Cross...

Cross seemed pretty fixed on finding the source of the scream.

But that last part of his sentence...get kicked out...what did he mean by that..

What might get me kicked out?

Cross was still looking through the forest.

James blinked, then turned back to Cross. "Ah... never mind. I think my eyes are playing tricks on me..." James looked around for the screaming person. "I still can't figure out who that was. I say we look for a bit, then give up. If tthe person really is in trouble, he'll have to survive it himself, or die trying." James walked around a little more, follow by Jasmine. James turned back to Cross. "You coming?" He walked forward, hoping Cross would follow.

"Ha! Shion and Mion's effects activate!"

Shion got up from her defensive stance and shocked the sneaky Kakkhi with her tasers, while Mion deflected the lighting bolts with her sword, assuming Defense Position at the same time. (1700 ATK) (1700 DEF)

"Our effects are rather simple." Mion told KALI.

"I can change the position of a monster to negate a Monster Card!" Shion explained.

"While I can do the same, only for Monsters!" Mion added.

"I think we did a great job!"

"Yeah, that taser counter was 'electrifying'!"

"Not as much as slicing at a lightning bolt!"

"We're so..."

"...awesome!"

"Actually, I was looking for incredible, but that works!"

"Will you two please focus?" Pandora asked the twins, who giggled when they realized their mistake.

"Sorry for distracting you, Princess!" Mion apologized.

"Won't happen again, Princess!" Shion reassured.

KALI looked at Pandora's Monsters. They were too strong. Kali couldn't attack or activate any effect. She saw it was pointless to continue moving forward.

KALI walked back to Shiva where she greeted her with a warm hug and her emotions of happiness and glee were revealed.

 

Meanwhile...

Cross looked at James and noticed he had left without him.

Wait up James!

He ran up to him but accidentally tripped and fell on top of James.

Oh I'm so sorry!

James caught him. "Hey, no big deal. Accidents happen." James set Cross down.

Jasmine turned to Cross. "Oh, my names Jasmine." She smiled at him.

James and Jasmine walked forward into the forest a little more, still seeing nothing. "I don't know who it was, or why they yelled, but I think we should just give up. No one would walk around here without protecting themself with there monsters." James looked to Cross. "What do you think?"

Cross looked at the girl for a bit.

Hi there! My names D-d uh Cross Harrison!

Cross looked around for a while.

Oh well..It might have just been a branch falling or something

....What do you suggest we do?

"I think we should head back inside. I'm sure whoever it was will make there way back to the arena." James walked off, Jasmine by his side. "James," Jasmine whispered into his ear. "Cross seams to be active weird. We should keep an eye on him." James turned to her. "Yeh, I know what you mean, and I agree." They continued looking towards the stadium, thoughts of the screaming person and Cross' weird behavior sirculating in there heads.

As Cross made his way to the arcade he noticed that KALI's duel with Pan had already been finished.

She didn't look too invested in the duel when she started Cross turned his eyes to Shiva Who was still dueling with Nura. His heart hurt when he saw Kali and Shiva together having fun in the duel... why doesn't Shiva want to play with me...[/i] he thought.

He quickly turned around to see if James and Jasmine were right on his trail.

James and Jasmine saw Cross across from them. "Hey, Cross! Will meet back up with you later. Jasmine want to try the duel simulator!" They walked up the the nearest machine and started it up, Jasmine uploading her deck, starting at lv1. The duel ended within a minute. "Too easy. Next level!" She turned back around to the machine continuing to defeat the CPU. "You do that, I'm going to watch this duel over here." He said walking away. "You do that!" She said, not turning around, face still in the screan.

Cross went to the Virtual Bar in the arcade and got a soda. He thought he'd take a look at his deck for a bit.

 

When He looked he saw all of the Destructive cards that Destruction had created.

I knew from the very beginning that this deck wouldn't be the answer I was looking for.

Cross remembered about his submitting himself to destruction..so that he wouldn't feel sorrow anymore. But here he was..once again...hurt by his only friend, Shiva. Then he remembered about his Crystal cards...

 

I think its time...for a miracle to be born

James looked away from the duel, to see Cross at the bar. He walked over. "Hey, Cross. You seam troubled. Something bothering you?" James sat right next to him, getting a glimpse at some of his cards.

Jasmine was still at the machine. "Yes! Level 4 beat! To level 5!" She took the next challenge Way to easy. She looked back for a second, seeing James was talking to Cross. She turned back, after think nothing of it.

Cross looked at James.

Oh its nothing

Cross saw that James took a peek at his deck.

That Made Cross smile.

You wanna see something cool?

James nodded

Okay, Here goes

Cross held his deck in front of his chest and it started to glow. Then in an instant the deck disappeared. then Cross held up his hand and a new deck appeared.

James just looked at Cross.

"My turn!" SHIVA declared. "I draw, and I draw again thanks to my Sanctuary!"

SHIVA blissfully drew another card.

"Now, I will activate Dark Core!"

A black spherical portal opened up above Karasu.

"By discarding Fabled Kushano, I can remove your Tengu from play!"

Karasu was sucked into the portal.

"Now I will Normal Summon The Fabled Kokkator from my hand!"

A monstrous chicken-like beast stomped onto SHIVA's field. (1700 ATK)

"I will activate the effect of my Fabled Sanctuary, allowing me to draw a card, then attack you directly with Ashenveil and Kokkator!"

James just laughed a bit. "You hack the system to do that?" James looked at Cross. I can tell somethings wrong. Something's troubling him. Whatever it is he'll tel me when he's ready to reveal it... James noticed Jasmine was still at the Simulator, face in the screan. People were starting to complain about her hogging the machine.

"Go away! You'll get your turn when I'm done!"

James smiled then looked to the duel. A lot of people around here are hiding something, I can just sense it, but what they're hiding, I just don't know...
