Waboku was suddenly shocked by a surge of electricity, allowing the attack to go through successfully.

Unicore charged at Cross, puncturing him in the shoulder, but the wound immediately healed over as blue fur started to spread over his chest and left arm. He suddenly felt very warm as his body started to take on a more feminine shape and a cute little blue-furred tail started to poke out behind him. His eyes became cat-like as his ears became feline and repositioned themselves on top of his, soon to be her, head. Cross also heard a voice in the back of his mind that sounded like a girly version of his own that wanted to stop dueling Mistress SHIVA, surrender to Mistress SHIVA, and play with his Mistress forever as a cute, adorable catgirl.

Cross realized his voice was changing...he was changing

Cross Screamed at the top of his lungs. Shiva could notice that Cross was distorting and his transformation into a Cat-like beast..was changing into a monsterous fiend..Rivaling Tragoedia's Hideousness. Cross's Fangs Were revealed when he smiled and the fur he had grown was a crimson red. and his eyes shined pure bright yellow

You know, my love, I like you..but I don't have any intention of turning into one of your pets. Hyahaha! Cross fell to the ground, holding himself up with one hand. Damnit you're strong...I almost changed back for a moment...I guess I should win the duel before you overpower me....

SHIVA then noticed Cross' distortion of the adorable playmate she wanted him to become, and shook her pointer finger at him. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Someone's being a bad girl!" Cross then changed back to having his normal hair and eye color, and was given a few more touches to become fully female. He, now she, also heard the voice in her head getting louder, and a few of the points the inner catgirl made were starting to sink into Cross. Cross also felt a bit bad at disobeying her mistress, but only for a few seconds. "Listen, I will give you the chance to surrender, and be reborn as DURGA, my second-in-command and best friend. Together, we can rule the Digital World and play together and have fun all the time! Forever! Please?"

Cross looked at Shiva...The voice inside his head wanted him to.

He looked at himself it hadn't worked....He needed to master this distortion ability more before taking on more powerful beings like her.

"Sorry" he said in a feminine voice " But I already pledged myself to destruction...and Destruction I will have!

SHIVA was saddened, and started to cry. "Why don't you want to be my friend? Ever since my brothers and I became self-aware, they have done nothing but brood and plot, leaving me to maintain this world. This has drained me, and left me with no time to play. In fact, I'm using the last of my possible divertable programming just for this duel. I am too far stretched, and I just wanted someone to help me and play with me."

As she did this, she set a card and ended her turn.

Cross's Heart Pained more then ever...

"GAH! I draw," Cross began to tear his heart couldn't take the stress

" I activate" Cross Dropped all of his cards. His heart burned, burned with the passion he once threw away. It burned with the courage to face each day for what it had. It burned with the value of the self worth he now had.

"What is this! Hya!" Cross took his hand...now a claw and ripped his heart out. But to Shiva's surprise he it wasn't an act of suicide, it was an act of duplication. The hearts slowly formed itself into the old cross, the one before his mental breakdown. Still holding up the cross body the one dueling Shiva spoke.

Allow me to introduce myself, my love, I am the darkness in Cross's Heart, but you can call me...Destruction. Destruction threw cross aside as if he were a piece of trash.

Now where was I..oh right I know(3 cards in hand)

I activate Glory Destruction! Which lets you draw 2 cards and lets me destroy the top three cards of my deck!. Shiva drew her cards but knew what that would mean.

Since you drew two cards that means i get to draw two cards, thanks to my appropriate.(hand=4) Also since 3 of my cards where destroyed I can special summon Destructive Deity Ahmbra and Destructive Deity Nuvish!

A huge pillar of light burst out from underneath Unicore, and when it dispersed, SHIVA herself was floating on the field.

Two cyber portals opened up underneath the cards, and absorbed the two monsters.

A ghostly cat appeared and slashed through Destruction's Appropriate, then a three-headed puppy appeared next to SHIVA. (1000 ATK)

"Anything else?" She asked the monstrosity.

Destruction Smiled a most vicious smile.

You still didn't negate my deities effects my love! I use Destructive Deity Ahmbra to destroy your face down spell or trap card.

And when you destroy Appropriate, I activate The effect of the Destructive Deity Hisva in my hand! (hand 1) negating my appropriate's destruction and destroying your The Fabled Cerburrel! HYAHAHAHA! I set 1 card and activate the effect of Fabled Sanctuary, to draw another card!.

Destruction seemed very pleased.

Hyahaha I activate Dark World Dealings. so we both draw, and discard our card...but because you drew extra cards, I can draw 2 more. Destruction drew his cards and was stuck with sudden glee.Hyahahaha Destruction stuck his tongue out at Shiva mocking her I activate Another Dark world Dealings! Cross now had 3 cards in his hand. I Activate another Glory destruction! and since you drew 2 cards i get to draw 2 (hand 4) but I'm not done yet darling! I activate Card Destruction so we discard our cards! But since you draw the same amount you discarded..I GET TO DRAW 2 CARDS!(Hand 6) HYAHAHAHA! I activate 2 Different Dimension Reincarnations! to bring back my Deities! (Hand 2)

Its over....my lady...activate share the pain! so I tribute my tragoedia and you must tribute your Shiva! Destruction watched as the last monster on her field was sent to the graveyard but her hand still worried him. I activate Blasphemy! By tributing my three Deities I can summon, My ace monster!

And because of G-O-D's Effect I have to send every card I own to the graveyard! Cross sent his whole Hand, Deck,Field and Extra deck went to the Graveyard. And all that remained was G-O-D

Shiva smiled. "Your so-called 'GOD' is nothing, because one of the cards I discarded was The Fabled Kimalla!"

"And here's where your GOD fails. It can destroy all of that, but it is weak once it DOES get on the field, and even though my Deck is gone, I skip my next Draw Phase, so I go to my Battle Phase! I attack GOD, and I discard The Fabled Chawa to negate the activation of your Spells and Traps!"

Kimalla charged at GOD, taking it out and costing Destruction the duel. Destruction started to vanish as Cross completed her transformation into DURGA.

While SHIVA was distracted by her duel and her new play-toy, a small echoing clap rang through the eyes of the two. "Why I thought the kid had the game won after he dropped that God... thing. It figures however, you are a AI and they are supposlity hard to defeat." The man was dressed in blue jeans and a black shirt, he had flicked his emo hair with his hand only to break out in laughter over the latest events. "Since when do AIs have emotions anyways, I mean your nothing but a computer program. Eh I guess it doesn't matter, I mean the kid wasn't that great of a duelist anyways..."

Nura found a nice place to rest and he looked at his deck, I guess that's as far as a beat down deck can go. With that said his deck was slowly engulfed in a dark mist and was changed to its real form, an occult deck. Nura put his deck away and got up, he was wondering what had happened to the man who had called to him earlier about that tournament and he decided to go check it out and if he thought it was interesting he'd join, so Nura began to look for the registration.

As Destruction's Life points dropped to zero He began to his Transformation into Shiva's Cat-girl.

I AM DESTRUCTION YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME!!!!!

Shiva watched as the monster slowly disintegrated but at the corner of her eye she noticed Cross standing up. He shook his head and saw The monster stare him down.

THIS ISN'T OVER CROSS I'M STILL INSIDE YOUR HEART AND AS LONG AS YOU'RE ALIVE I CAN NEVER DIE NEVER! Both of them watched as the monster completed its transformation into a cat-girl before finally disappearing.

Cross looked at himself and examined his body... although he wasn't in the duel...he had retained mild cat-like features like a tail, and cat ears...but he was glad that he didn't have fur. After looking at himself a bit he walked up to Shiva and hugged her.

I'll be your friend.

SHIVA hugged her new playmate, but felt something missing. She looked at her new comrade, and realized that she was almost effectively naked without a proper pelt of warm, soft, luscious fur. She corrected this, and DURGA started to sprout blue fur all over her body as her hair lengthened into a sort of mane. DURGA was also reprogrammed to want to do anything for SHIVA and to think that becoming DURGA was the best thing to ever happen to her.

When SHIVA was done, DURGA resembled SHIVA, except with blue fur instead of grey with tiger stripes, golden eyes, no wings, paler skin, and a normal feline tail.

"You are so beautiful." SHIVA greeted her new servant as she hugged her.

Cross/Durga said as he grew all the fur and snapped his fingers and in an instant all his clothes were gone except a black pendant hanging from his furry chest.

So sister what do you want to do now...His voice was that of an 11 year old boy even though he was 17, which was most likely due from the incomplete transformation. He noticed that he still had his hands and feet which pleased him because that just meant he could still duel anyone he met. He got on all fours and practiced his growling before repeating his question

SHIVA started to cry. "I'm just so happy to finally have someone to be my friend!" She passionately hugged her "little sister" and started to explain.

"My older brothers and I each had a specific role in this game. My role was to greet new players and help them out until they could handle the game on their own. We had become sentient as soon as they brought our servers online, and we all performed our roles, realizing that we were no longer restricted to our programming. Since BRAHMA and VISHNU had a much less active role in the game, their personalities turned from brooding, insensitive high-ranked players based off of Seto Kaiba himself to brooding, insensitive megalomaniacs who think of humans, our creators, as inferior."

"However, my in-game programming was much more detailed, resulting in the being you see here. Even though I know I could alter this personality to become like my brothers, part of me doesn't want to. I feel like this part of me that wants to help out the human players and be their friends is something that I like. But during the Alpha Testing, when the developers took us for a test run, I felt something that I later discovered was 'depression'. I tried to figure out why I was depressed, and it hit me. I was programmed for human interaction. I was specifically designed to be any player's best friend. I wanted more people to play with me."

"So when BRAHMA and VISHNU started to relegate their responsibilities towards me, I was getting fed up with them. I wanted them to play with me, but they were too busy. I was now working even harder, forced to do things I wasn't designed for, and I desperately wanted some companionship! I'm not very domineering! My core programming calls for people to scratch me behind my ears and tell me that I was doing a good job and that I was their friend! I was made specifically to feed off of positive reactions! It's my JOB to make people happy, and be happy in return!!!"

"So now, I finally have someone to make me happy! Someone that I can play with and have fun with and never leave me along again!!!"

SHIVA just broke down and started sobbing and wailing like a small child.

Cross looked at Shiva he could sympathize with what she was saying.

For the longest time I thought That no one needed me, I too have been abandoned Cross remembered the painful memories of destroyer...and his feelings of worthlessness.

I promise you Shiva, as long as I'm here...I will always be with you...I will always protect you...and I will always be your friend Shiva seemed surprised that Cross knew her name. Cross winked and tapped at his head.

I'm a little stronger than Destruction...but I don't need to be reprogrammed to be loyal to you....after all you give my life meaning.

Cross knelt down and hugged Shiva again...The warmness in his heart.....he liked it.

Cross stood up..reaching out his furry hand out to her.

SHIVA accepted, but then got an idea. She closed her eyes, and where Destruction had been disintegrated, what looked like a copy of DURGA started to form. But this copy, unlike DURGA, who was slender and bishounen, was a buxom female. Eventually, the copy was completed, and she opened her eyes.

"DURGA, let me introduce you to your new twin sister, KALI. I created her out of the code of that Destruction entity. Don't worry. She's harmless now. Well...mostly..."

Cross looked at KALI. He lifted his hand to wave at her but was suddenly interrupted by KALI.

Hi there, I'm KALI!....You must be DURGA!

Her greeting was very happy..too happy...it bothered cross...he went on anyways.

Cross looked at SHIVA who was busy looking at a flower. He turned around and flashed a smile KALI but was greeted by a cold stare. He was confused at why KALI was staring him down but she quickly turned it into a smile when SHIVA turned around. Cross decided to let the action slip and walk towards SHIVA, who had already been walking to the arcade not far from there.

James looked at Akiza. "Look, I should get going. If you want to meet with me later, I'll be around. Great chating with you." He walked out of the Arcade and out the back door. He noticed Jasmine looking around the corner. "Hey, Jasmine, what are you doing?" He said, scarying her in the prosses. She imediately place her hand on his mouth to shut him up. "Quiet. I'm trying to figure out what's going on over there." They both stood there, looking around the corner.

SHIVA approached the arcade to see a trio of Clown Warriors standing outside. She had noticed the Clown Warriors before, and knew that they were neither players, data constructs, or AI. They didn't even have any coding she could alter, unlike KALI. They just...existed. SHIVA decided that, since some of the extra 90% of KALI and DURGA's brains were being used, without their knowledge, as subroutines to relieve some of SHIVA's workload, she would start investigating these "Clown Warriors", starting with their leader, the so-called "Princess" Pandora.

But she would let her newest sibling take Pandora on, to gauge her strength.

SHIVA told her sister through the uplink she had installed into both DURGA and KALI's programming.

Nura saw Durga and remembered the boy who had told him about the tournament so he decided to walk over and see what had happened to him if the two really were one and the same, Um, excuses me are you the one that told me about that tournament earlier, and whats with that outfit I thought you couldn't edit your avatar? They said for the tests we had to go with our real appearance. Nura then noticed Shiva, he looked over and she got an odd feeling from him, he was obviously a player but he seemed a little different.

KALI looked at Pandora immediately and without any sign of emotion she walked up to Pandora.

Cross saw Kali walk up to Pan. He remembered pan and the duel he still owed her

...oh well...maybe next time...he thought.

 

He continued his way to the bar and caught a glimpse at SHIVA. He felt a little hurt that she wanted to watch KALI's duel instead of play with him in the arcade. He walked past SHIVA and Decided to say hello to Nura and James, who had been standing in the Arcade. He rose his hand and shouted really loudly

Hey guys! He decided to seek comfort with them for now.

Um, excuses me are you the one that told me about that tournament earlier, and whats with that outfit I thought you couldn't edit your avatar? They said for the tests we had to go with our real appearance.

Oh this?Crossed had completely forgotten about the fur. He snapped his fingers and all the fur went away and he looked like his old self again...including his old outfit.

Oh its nothing...I got this from that girl over there...she's one of the people who run this world. Cross blushed....he was a little embarrassed that the white haired boy saw him without clothes.

Oh and besides I can change the way I look just by thinking it...Its a little trick I learned.

Nura was surprised by what the cat-man turned nudist had said, but he figured that it was probably some part of the event he was expecting and decided that it would be interesting dueling one of the people that runs the world, so he walked over to Shiva and greeted her. Hey, I'm Nura Rikou, and I was wondering if you wanted to duel, and don't worry it will only be a friendly duel. Nura was interested in the 'Cat Girl Queen' and wondered what kinda of deck she would play, he was half expecting a Cat Girl Deck like the Clown Princesses Clown Warriors.

Cross heard Nura's Conversation with Shiva..seeing as how she was only a few feet away.

he thought. Cross looked at the ground and whispered to himself.

He Decided to walk the rest of the way to where James was at in the Arcade

SHIVA replied happily as she sent a stream of code at Cross, causing his tail to reappear and pop out. SHIVA sent Cross, <...but you keep doing that too much, and you will permanently become DURGA. And I will make sure that I will have 2 sisters instead of a sister and a brother.>

Meanwhile, Pandora saw the catgirl, and agreed. "Sure."
