The director of Kaiba Corp was caught in the middle of a disaster. One would think that hmanity would have learned from books like Frankenstein and The Island of Doctor Moreau, but still they went on creating monsters.

I've created a monster! No... Three monsters!

 

He had just received a phone call from a mother who somehow had learned about the accident inside the game. Probably there was some highly established person within Kaiba Corp that had leaked the information, as those were the only ones who should know. But that didn't matter, what mattered now was to get the players out of there! Kaiba Corp had yet to tell the players of their situation, as the AIs had blocked any means to communicate with the game. The developers could only watch what happened on the island.

 

"Sir!" A man wearing a lab coat walked into the room. "We succesfully planted our 'virus' inside the game."

"'Virus'?" The director had agree to send some kind of helping AI into the game. "A virus? You mean a destructive AI?"

"Kind of. The AI we created is a reprogramed virus. We combined the virus' abilities to infiltrate data banks and to destroy data with the AI technology!"

"Isn't that extremely dangerous?" The director was sweaty, the answer didn't matter, he was desperate for help.

"Well..." The lab coated man looked at the director. "We programed the AI to help the players get out of there as safely as possible. We also trained it to be a good duelist so that it can counter the AIs and players that has joined them."

 

"Do you mean that there's players who have joined the AIs?" The director sat down and placed his face in his palms. "Oh God what have I done?"

"Certainly, the AIs promise powers to anyone who would join them. It's human nature to want power."

"Just send the damn virsu into there!"

"We already did. We call him Ozone."

Pandora had never experienced this kind of sensation before. A wonderful exaltation of joy and pleasure that could only be described by three words:

"PLAYER 1 WINS!"

The Clown Princess fist-pounded into the air as she defeated the practice computer yet again. Sure, she knew that it was all just an illusion, and that everything she was experiencing was being transmitted into her semi-conscious brain, but she was having fun. Plus, she had used a little magic to not just get herself inside.

"Pandora won against the LV7 computer!"

"Awesome!"

"Anyone wanna go play DDR?"

"Sure!"

"Yay! The latest Tekken game!"

"Sweet! Cooking Mama!"

"I bet you my meals for tomorrow that I can own you guys at air hockey!"

"You're on!"

"Bring it!"

Pandora decided the Clown Warriors, her friends, bodyguards, and comrades-in-arms, needed a break too, so she brought them into the game to get some R&R, and everyone voted on their first stop, and the majority said the virtual arcade should be the first stop.

So Pandora decided to take on LV8 with her deck, knowing that she might lose, since LV7 had almost defeated her.

Cross awakened to the sound of cheers coming from a distance. "Maybe this isn't the best place to sleep",he thought to himself. He walked toward the distant sound and saw her. She interacted her duel Monsters Like they were her Family. It made him smile a bit as he approached the stranger. He remembered hearing her name as they introduced the players to the virtual system. He raised his hand and waved

 

"HEY PandUra!"

All of the Clown Warriors immediately stopped what they were doing and drew out their weapons, with a wide range of squirt gun-like firearms, unorthodox melee equipment such as a giant boomerang, tasers, and a gunblade. And a few of them even looked like they had magical powers. They all eyed the intruder intensiely, until Pandora came over.

"Girls, girls! Calm down! Just because I was almost assassinated recently doesn't mean that you have to attack anyone who mispronounces my name!"

A faint voice from the back of the crowd called out "Yes we do!", but then sounds of people beating up on the shouter echoed through the arcade for a few seconds, until a pathetic "Ow..." cried out, at which point a kick hit the instigator.

Pandora turned to face Cross. "My name is Pandora, the Clown Princess, at your service." She did a little curtsy as she said this. "And these are the Clown Warriors. Think Toon versions of the Amazonesses."

VISHNU appeared out side of the town holding a apple throwing it up and down. a Lv4 monster came out of the forest and moved slowly towards VISHNU. He turned around and looked it straight in the eye with a smile on his face while turning his head to one side. the monsters stopped getting inches away from him. VISHNU Said to monster in a depressing tone, "Sit boy!" The monster seemed to be a Gyaku-Gire Panda all it did was raise its hand to attack. Gladiator Beast Andal appeared behind it and slammed its paw in to the Gyaku-Gire and smashed it in to a tree. in VISHNU was his Gladiator Beast,"to bad!" he went back to eating his apple.

"oh eheheh" Cross rubs the back of his head and smiles. "I guess I mispronounced your name huh?" He pulled out his deck from his deck holder and brought out his monsters. In a wave of Flashing Lights from his duel disk he brought out His crystal monsters

Cross felt a warmness inside that he had not felt in a long time...the comfort of family.

"your monsters...are just like a family"

He looked at Pandora...with words stuck in his throat...words that could only be said through a duel.

"I believe that is the way with man duelists here." James came into the room. "I just over heard that last part you said, about her monsters being her family. Honestly, I can relate. You'd be suprised what I've been through with my cards, but I left my main deck at home and decided to bring this deck with me." Dragunity Militum and Dragunity Arm Lavietian appeared behind him, Militum leaning against a wall, Lavietian glaring at the two infront of James. "Don't worry, he won't bite, as long as you don't attack. By the way, my name is James."

Jasmine was running through the halls of the of the arena. "Oh, where is James! We were supose to stick together! Then he leaves me! Now where the heck did he go?!"

"Why did you decide to leave you main deck behind?"

Cross was curious to see his response. The air was still with the feeling of companionship. These three looked as if they were perfect for each other. It was as if Destiny had Brought these three together for a Journey they would never forget.

 

"so...why'd you leave it behind??" Cross was still curious enough to want an answer but would not force one out of him.

VISHNU with a monkey mask on walked in between them and sat down at the bar in the back. He was listening at the people in the bar but tried to make sure they didn't notice.,"Bartender get me a drink. What ever you have is fine.", his deck was placed in his holder that was attached on his shoulder, he thoughtful to himself while his drink was in his hand ,"Lets see what they do." VISHNU was think of nothing except for the people beside him.

"Well," he looked around, wondering if Jasmine had figured out where he was, "I wanted to try something different, something I haven't done since, uh, I went more serious into dueling. now I'm using this deck to get to know the deck again." James continued to looked around, but still no Jasmine.

"James, wait until I find you. I'M gonna..." She continued mumbling around the halls, still unable to find James.

Nura saw the group of people talking but he had an odd feeling so he left the building but he remembered that he had to finish his duel with the level 9 first, Now I'll use my Spells Effect and Summon my Masked Hero Nexus, and here's the fun part, he is unaffected by all your Spell and Traps so go destroy his monster and end the duel. With that Nura beat the Level 9 and walked out of the arcade, he had an odd feeling as if something was off, but knowing KK they were probably going to start an event soon and he wanted to be one of the first people in so he decided to go for a walk then follow his instincts when necessary.

Two strange woman came out of a door right next to Jasmine as she said this. The first woman was a bit odd in the fact that one half of her long hair was black and the other was navy blue. She was scantily clad, revealing a lot of her porcelain-white skin, and what she was wearing was a black and blue outfit consisting of a black and blue striped miniskirt, similarly patterned stockings and arm warmers, overalls over her breasts that had blue hearts covering her nipples, and light-blue wings popping out of her back. She also had navy-blue facepaint markings.

The other was similarly dressed, but her outfit was blue with red instead of blue with black. Plus, her hair was incredibly multicolored. She, in fact, resembled the Dark Magician Girl, if she got a clowny makeover.

"Excuse me, have you seen a woman about our height with purple eyes, long silver hair, a kimono and outfit similar to ours, and facepaint similar to mine, but silver?" The clown angel asked Jasmine.

Zack was separated from everyone else on a different part of the island. All he had was his deck, his Duel Disk, and himself. He checked out his surroundings "Heh." he stated with a smirk as he continued to look around. He was on the edge of a remote rain forest. A town was nearby he went in its direction. When he entered the town he saw a small group. Some of them looked familiar from when he entered the virtual world. He walked up to them in silence.

Cross's Expression started showing interest in James.

"Well you know James, the best way to get familiar with your deck is through a duel and if I remember correctly theres going to be a grand tournament in the arena to start out arrival." James looked like he wasn't interested in dueling at the moment. He constantly looked around as they talked. "Well if you decide to duel me you'll know where I'll be!"

He walked through the arcade and towards the Bar and noticed a stranger there.

He had an unwelcoming mask on and looked like a beast as he passed him towards the Arena Hallway.

Jasmine looked at the two. Are these supose to be computerized players? Cause I've never seen an outfit like that on a regular player. And they're searching for another like them? If they are computerized, they should be linked into the system and be able to find that person themself. "N...no." She said nerviously, and walked away from them as if she never saw them. I think James would like to know about this. I find it interesting myself.

James blinked then looked to him. "I'll do that... whoever you are." James continued looking aorund, figuring Jasmine would be looking for him.

"Hold it one second please", he wasn't talking with his normal tone of voice. More of a calm slow voice,"If you want a duel i am your man." behind the mask he had a serous look on his face. He was thinking to himself wondering what he was getting in to to check out the power levels of the one person before he continues,"See i have been scouring the lands looking for a dullest such as you say you are." he put his hand on his deck waiting for the mas response.

"A duelist...Like me? "If you want a duel then thats no problem."He put his deck into the deckslot of his dueldisk."Just make sure you try your best...we don't want to end things too quickly....but lets go somewhere a little more private...."

 

Both of them walked to the Forest outside of the arcade and found an area where they could duel.

 

"Okay!" Cross's voice showed a trapped flame...a trapped passion for dueling...and he had an expression of boredom but deep down he was still enjoying himself.

"My turn! Draw!"

"I summon Crystal Fallen and use his special ability to send my Crystal Savior and Crystal Golem and end my turn."He had a look of seriousness and a determination to win.

The gladiator bast appeared and slammed it claws down on to Crystal Fallen it jumped back,"Battle phrase over time for a new monsters I put back Samnit and Summon Secutor in Defense Position", Secutor appeared and crossed its hands trying o protect it self." I place 2 cards face down and end my turn.", he pulled out his tea he was having at the bar.

"With this card, I can inflict 2500 points of damage since I have 5 Crystals in my grave!"

Cross smirked with confidence.

"So what do you do? will you take the damage...or negate the effect?"

On the current turn he started his Main Phrase 1. "I negate effect, may come back to haunt me but i will do it anyway. Time to summon Gladiator Beast Laquari and i attack you directly starting with my Secutor" Secutor rose its hand and firred two water waves at him.

"Since You negated the effect of my Crystal Harmony I gain 1000 Lifepoints and and put Crystal Shining and Crystal Material in my spell and trap!" Cross was engulfed with shiny sparkles as he gained lifepoints.

"Time to summon Gladiator Beast Laquari. I attack you directly starting with my Secutor" Secutor rose its hand and firred two water waves at him.

"Now I attack with Laquari!"

 

"I activate the effect of the Crystal Shining in my hand, which means I take no damage from this attack and I can fill up my last Zone with him as my continuous spell." Laquari attacked but was blocked by Shining.

 

The Stranger had a look of disappointment on his face.

..witch then turned in to a smile no one could tell because he was behind a mask," Secutor Go away So i can summon 2 gladiator beasts", but i send them back to my deck with Laquari to Fusion Summon Gladiator Beast Heraklinos" The 3 Gladiator Beasts started to disappear as Heraklinos rose form the ground,"I have 3 cards in my hand but it looks like i need some more I play Gladiator Beast's Respite" two Gladeator beasts were sent back to his deck and he drew 3 cards he spoke softly,"Found the card, but i cant play it know."

Nura saw the duel going on but he had little interest in it, he noticed that one of them was playing with Gladiator Beasts so Nura had to respect that the duelist probably had a really good sense of playing their cards, or they were a complete fool that liked using cards out of their league. After examining the Duelist for a bit Nura decided that he probably fell under the first category. Nura soon continued his walk, the odd feeling he had didn't seem to disappear so he thought whatever was going on would probably be more subtle that he had originally thought.

"My turn I draw!" His Voice boomed with determination.

"I activate My face Down Crystal Refresh...Which lets us both draw 2 cards"

Hmm I have 6 cards in my Hand and he has 5...I cant do anything! If I activate a card...he'll Just negate it !

 

"DAMNIT!" Cross kneeled as he punched the ground.

 

"Giving up already?"

 

"Never!" Determination shot up in the boy

"I summon Crystal Slippy and I use it's effect to special summon my Crystal Golem."

"I set 1 card face down and end my turn." The boy knew that if he didn't take down the Monster soon..he would lose.

Rinoa, the angelic clown woman, sighed. "Hecate. I think she thought that we were part of the game."

Hecate, the Clown Magician Girl, was a bit more optimistic. "I think we should follow her. She appears to be searching for someone too. Maybe we'll find them both at the same place!"

"You know what? I like your thinking!"

Both Rinoa and Hecate started to run after Jasmine.

 

Meanwhile, the Clown Warriors were still playing in the arcade, with Pandora just completing LV8 and going on to LV9.

However, a familiar face sat down next to James, sipping on a Diet Dr. Pepper.

She had magenta hair, cat-like golden eyes, and a wonderful figure, but that's where the similarities started to diverge. Like all of the Clown Warriors, she had porcelain skin, only marred by her pink facepaint, part of her hair a different color, in this case green, and a skimpy outfit, this one of pink and green, but hers had a female New Domino Duel Academy jacket around it. She then noticed James out of the corner of her eye, and was startled.

"James?!?" Clown Warrior Akiza asked the young man. "Is that you?!? I haven't seen you since you were a baby! You're Crow's kid, right?"

 

Pandora was about to re-enter the dueling arena when she noticed that Cross and his beautiful Crystal monsters were gone. "Has anyone seen Cross?" She cried out.
