Sean then felt a gigantic surge of power flow through him. Now this is more like it! he thought as he teleported in a black mist. Suddenly, where Joe and Ralis were speaking, a giant dark cloud began to blanket over the two, losing sight of each other. A voice was heard from Ralis, saying, "Ralis? Oh, Ralis? It's time for fate to come! Then out of nowhere, what seems like black claws came into Ralis's field of vision for only a split second, since it hit him with brute force, causing the cloud to slowly diminish by being absorbed by a figure. Once, the cloud was fully absorbed, it was revealed to be Sean. Sean then began to walk over to him slowly and say, "It looks like I got the best of you! Now it's time for you to understand that I'm the only one who should have these powers, not you!"

 

Roll: 19

[Nexev]

A laugh was heard, a hollow echoing laughter. This was followed by large fits of giggles as Nexev emerged from the dirt in uniform. Holding his head with one hand as if in a vain attempt to stiffle his voice. "Are you seeing this Joe? This is a riot, little Sean has envoked dark powers to try to kill my friend. And you said this world was different? Look around and look at the past Joe, that goes for you too kitty. Your supposed to be the heros, I see one hero and a meddlesome crook. Maybe this world is better dead than protected by you?" Nexev taunted, all the while giggling madly.

[DNovaKnight]

Joe looked on as well. Even before Nexev appeared he was thinking something along similar lines. The only ranger who could appear from smoke and darkness was Dominic, and maybe Caoimhin. But Sean? And this seemed much more malevolent. He didn't know what to make from any of this. "Gold Ranger Power!" Joe shouted and morphed. He waited to see what else would happen. He couldn't believe that what he was seeing was confirming what Nexev had said earlier. Was he about to bear witness to the creation of that distorted dimension's history?

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin, in his Hades Ranger form, teleported next to Joe and noticed Sean walking over to Ralis. "That explains the power surge I felt back in Zedren's office, it seems that I was right to trust that the base was not infiltrated for a second time." Caoimhin felt uneasy with the current situation and wondered why this was all happening but he knew the other rangers had to act swiftly to subdue the situation. "Young Joseph, you cannot let Sean continue to act this way the more he behaves like this the more corrupt his heart, mind and is ranger powers will be. It would be wise to and halt his behaviour before there's no turning back from the hatred in his body."

[DNovaKnight]

Joe heard Caoimhin's words and agreed. "We have to stop this. Ralis had stopped his attack and was subdued. Sean attacked first without even knowing if he meant ill will." Joe looked at Caoimhin, "Is it weird that these ranger who are supposed to be evil, actually make more sense than our comrade." Joe didn't wait for an answer. He immediately ran between Sean and Ralis. "Sean, knock it off. His guard was down and I was in no danger. There is no need for this fight."

[Proto]

"Bloody hell! What is this damn thing!" He then viewed Sean and laughed. "So Mr. Kitty finally began to go into the dark side and betray his friend eh? Well that's one thing I can't really allow here" He paused for a second, Loki could destroy him if he wanted too and he knew that he was watching, would killing a ranger that was possessed by darkness count as disobeying him? He weighed these options for a moment "Aw screw it I'm dead either way" Ralis said, though weakened by the unexpected claw slash, he was not going to let some stuck up brat like Panther get the satisfaction of seeing the Emerald Elephant Ranger surrender. "Goldilocks, if he wants a fight he'll get it, some new toys don't change the man inside the suit, we all know that he's still the little spoiled punk who's gonna do you all in eventually, I'm just doing you a favor making sure that he's not gonna have the chance. Now stand aside!"

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Sean looked at Joe with a menacing look on his face. "Move, Joe!" he yelled. "My job is to prove I'm the better counterpart, and I'll get rid of anyone who gets in my way!" He then grabs Joe by the neck, choking him forcefully. "Even if it means getting rid of you." He then threw him to the side and looked at Nexev and Caoimhin. "This has nothing to do with you two, so how about you both just run along and mind your own freaking business!" He then turned to Ralis. "From what you said, it's as though you think I'm turning evil, well you're wrong! Your defeat will make Gargantia's destruction a whole lot easier for me!" Then a dark aura surrounded him. When he morphed, his armor turned from green to Obsidian. "It's time to see who the true counterpart is the strongest." He then made a stance, one of the panther style.

[DNovaKnight]

Joe backflipped in mid air and managed to land without too much damage. "Ok ... guess he's not in a talkative mood. I can't believe how much stronger he is. Whereas usually that'd be a good thing, this situation doesn't count as one. Ideas gentlemen? Oh btw ... Caoimhin this is Nexev, Nexev this is Caoimhin." Joe introduced the two and hoped for an idea from either. 'If only I could finish unlocking the strength of the Genesis Blade.'

[Fallen Hero]

"I'm sure you know the fate of the Caoimhin in your dimension but i'd rather have you keep it a secret from me in case it spoils this future. Okay, Nexev?...and Joseph, you unlocking the Genesis Blade's full potential will only halt the current situation. It's helping Sean from acting the way he is will permanently fix the problem at hand." Caoimhin calmly said to Nexev and Joe. Caoimhin then focused on the battle. "Looks like it's gonna take all four of us to subdue Sean. Nexev, i suggest you order your partner to not escalate Sean's hatred and focus on pinning him down into submission with the rest of us. From what i can gather, just rushing at him with attacks won't be enough with whatever seems to be making him stronger."

[Kōsuke Ueki]

"I can hear you, you know!" said Sean facing Ralis. He then turned and looked at Joe, then Caoimhin and Nexev. "Stay out of this, all of you! This is my battle and I'll do as I see fit!" he then faced Caoimhin. "Now look, if I were to tell you why I'm like this, then my powers will be gone forever! Now begone! You have no purpose here but to stand in my way!" Sean wasn't as he used to be. He used to act good all the time, but his acts of revenge have tainted his heart to the extent of being of his own allegiance, like Gargantia.

[Fallen Hero]

"And standing in your way shall be my purpose then" Caoimhin said as the Cerberus head on his chest armor glowed and two other Caoimhin's appeared beside the real one, each one only having one Cerberus head on the armor. "I've still got alot of tricks up my sleeve to stop all of this" the middle Caoimhin condifently warned Sean before charging at him and threw a punch at Sean's head.

 

Roll: 10

[Nexev]

Nexev clocked his head questioningly "I am not allowed to aid a friend in need?" Nexev began another river of giggles "You have no idea what the word hero means do you? On the contrary my dear putty cat, I think your just a murderer right about now. Or a wannabe murderer." Nexev turned to the hades ranger. "As for you Deady I fear I cannot ask Ral to do anything, it is not my place to be the leader. But he can hear you so he will likely take that into account, he knows if he wants a fight I would help anyway. But as for his powers I luckily do know exactly what happened, Odin's raven's tuned me in. But you wouldn't like it. Let's just say he is a double crossing evil monster. That is if you didn't get that already. Isn't that jolly."

 

Nexev then thought for a moment "I have a question. Why exactly can't we just get your boss to deactivate his grid and then subdue him while he's powerless? That still works right?"

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Sean smirked inside his helmet and stopped the middle Caoimhin's punch from landing. Sean then countered with a vicious punch to the chest, knocking him back to the other Caoimhin clones. "I don't want to kill you, but if you continue, I'll have no choice but to do so!" said Sean. He then turned to Nexev. "My power seems to come from the Morphing Grid since it was given to me by Zordon. But it was created outside the Grid so my powers cannot be shut down. I'm more powerful now! You can't stop me!" Then Sean made an evil laugh.

 

Roll: 15(Dodge), 18(Counter Attack)

[Fallen Hero]

The middle Caoimhin got back up and the three of them formed into one. "Splitting my powers wasn't so wise" groaned Caoimhin and he held his chest. He formed a sphere of fire in each hand and fired it to the sides of Sean and created a cloud of smoke to hide his actions. "I've still got ideas on how to stop you" Caoimhin quietly said so Sean would find it hard to sense where his location in smoke cloud.

 

Out of nowhere, Caoimhin attacked from behind, twisted Sean's right arm behind his back with his right arm and wrapped his left arm around Sean's neck. "I don't care where you got this power but reject it before it takes over your mind" Caoimhin said. "If you won't then i'll have to incinerate it out of your soul" he stated as searing blue flames engulfed both of their bodies, burning into Sean's suit.

 

Roll: 20

[Nexev]

Nexev sighed inside his helmet. "Lucky, it's not often in my time where you don't lose a limb facing something you have no idea what it can do. I guess you have little to live for if your willing to make such a bluff. Pitiful really." Nexev then walked to Sean. "I'll do what he says, even if you escape you'll burn when your dead. It's pretty obvious where you'll go after all." Nexev gave a chuckle "Not that you seem to notice the obvious. Please be a good boy and say your sorry to Ralis. Or.... I'll hurt you"

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Sean was feeling such a burn that he was getting enraged. "That is...ENOUGH!!!" screamed Sean as he created a burst of dark energy that separated him from Caoimhin. Sean then stood up and turned to Caoimhin. Taking the flame ability from Caoimhin, Sean ignites his hands with black flames. "I told you to stay out of my way!" Sean then dashed at Caoimhin and punched his stomach with both ignited hands. "I'll take you all on if I have too! Nobody's gonna stop me from completing my act of vengeance!"

 

Roll: 21(Counter), 16(Attack)

[Nexev]

Nexev whistled "Wow he's seriously rotten now. Loki would be proud." Nexev flicked his wrist and summoned a cross. "First warning, I can probbaly peel your power off you like a banana. You may want to run away like the coward you are first." Nexev suggested before lifting the cross in the air as a dark aura glowed from it. A white ghostly hand materilized from the cross and headed towards Sean. Nexev giggled "So this is what it's like to be the good guy again. Fun right?"

 

 

Note: only Broken can decide if my cross is strong enough to end Sean's super thing. It's abbility is to move power so as long as Nexev doesn't try to destroy the power he can weaken Sean with it in theory.

[DNovaKnight]

Meanwhile back underground, after looking at his two fingers stop glowing, MeteorKnight looked around the cave. There was no sign of Gargantia, but he new he was still some where there. He decided to stand in the center of the cavern ... and close his eyes.

 

Gargantia saw this and immediately jumped on it, making sure to attack him from underneath or above so that he couldn't block as easily with his shield arm. He never fully revealed his entire body. He struck him again and again, claw after claw. As he did he said "You're over confidence will be your undoing. And even if you try to strike me back, you'll hurt me yes ... but you won't kill me. All my vitals are still within the shadows. And you can't hit what you can't see."

 

The scene looked like a game of whack-a-mole, although there was only 1 mole standing completely still, and an infinite amount of hammers. MeteorKnight just stood there taking it all. He seemed to be meditating, or rather ... sensing. Among the barrage of attacks, MeteorKnight raised his sword arm, which began to glow purple. He turned 46 degrees to the left and aimed. He waited for about 7 seconds, during which the purple aura on his sword started to take the slight form of the head and wings of a Pegasus. "In the darkness, one cannot see the sun, but that doesn't mean it isn't there." He then fired from his sword arm what appeared to be at first a galloping pegasus but then sharpened into an arrow. It drove straight into the wall which was followed by a loud shriek, which echoed throughout the abandoned tunnels.

Joe was just about to attack Sean, but decided not to after he saw how he duplicated Caoimhin's attack. "We don't need him getting the power of the Genesis Blade also. Can things really get any worse?" Just then a surge of energy erupted from the Blade and ran up Joe's arm striking him near the heart. He let out a painful cry for which seemed like an eternity for him, but was actually only a few seconds. He fell to the ground and struggled to get back to his feet. "I had to ask." He remarked. "What in the world is going on?"

 

Moments later, another scream was heard. It had no apparent source and sounded very faint. Like it was coming from far away ... be muffled by something. - like a few hundred feet of steel and cement.

[Proto]

"Vengance mate? Seriously? I haven't hurt a damn hair on your head, all I have is a version of your powers and you can't take that? I mean who's the bad guy here? Me the guy who only fought you because I had too. Or you, who just wants revenge because I happen to have the same power of yours and you're jealous. You're trying to ruin my life just because I'm outshining you in power, we have a word for those people, children." Ralis then ran behind Sean while distracted by Nexev's moving cross and grabbed him in a bear hug. "Mate I'm not too keen on taking Nexev's job, and I'm not powerful enough to take you on my own, but the least I can do is make you use that little brain of yours and think before you kill us all."

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin groaned in pain as he was getting pummeled by Sean's punch, not noticing the faint shrieks from below the ground, and waited for the right moment to counterattack. After getting punched 5 more times he saw his chance swiping his left arm to knock the punch off course. Caoimhin instantly created intense flames around his feet and kicked out both his legs into Sean's chest and forced him into the white ghostly hand that Nexev materilized.

 

Roll: 22 (Counterattack)

[The Warden]

OOC: WHAT POWER?! All I did was fix the odds against Ralis and gave him a confidence boost as a signal. He's doing it all himself.

 

Legion was watching the fight, and he just did the most extraordinary thing, he slapped his forehead with his palm. 'Is this guy a complete moron?' Legion declared. 'You really should have decided upon a better target to manipulate. He is so filled with spite for his fellow rangers and jealousy of not being the original he's completely lost his mind. It's amazing how he corrupted his powers so far. Perhaps you could make use of this' Broodwing suggested. In quiet, Legion considered this idea. He let loose a quick and decisive laugh. 'Perfect, I'll gain their trust by ending this mad rampage; thus cementing the trust before I force Sean to betray them' Legion laughed and exploded into shadows.

 

He reformed behind Joe. He let out a quick laugh, 'My my my, this sort of thing makes me wonder how it is you all stayed together for so long' he commented.

[Nexev]

OOC: o rly? Then my zedren thing would work.

 

 

IC: "Well well, I remenber you little Legion. How's your crush?" Nexev gave a chuckle "Nice dress by the way, matches your eyes." Nexev said as he looked at the strip of clothing tied to Legion. The hand after impacting with Sean turned Sean white for a bit until it disappeared. "Hm, he has no power besides the normal. It looks like the fight was just fixed by whoever turned Sean. I can steal his emerald powers but that may not be a good idea, just take him off the grid and keep him in jail." Nexev took off his helmet and smiled at Legion. "Nice of you to drop by. What are you trying to do now? I think Joe's friend list is a bit cramped though." With a laugh Nexev made the cross disappear.

[DNovaKnight]

Joe heard what Nexev said and chuckled a little bit. "Yah. What do you want?" Joe wanted to ask how Izabel was but he couldn't deal with anymore turmoil at the moment. He just had to hope he kept up his side of the bargain. "Oh btw ... we're looking for Deos. Trust me. We've just been a bit ... preoccupied at the moment." Joe cringed again from an aftershock of the pain, but he tried not to show it.

 

Joe then turned back to Nexev, "I'll call Zedren."

 

Just then Zedren called in, "One step ahead of you Joe. We've already begun the process. We just can't flick a switch. There's kind of a process ... but it should be shutting down momentarily."

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin cringed in pain as he felt some intense pain in his chest. He powered down, showing that he coughed up some blood from the flurry of punches he recieved but that was the last thing on his mind as he began to checked his chest. "Argh!.....Seems like he actually broke a couple of ribs. I have had an injury like that in quite a while" Caoimhin confirmed to himself and walked over to Joe and the others.

[The Warden]

Legion laughed at Nexev's comment. 'Things lose their edge when you are aware of it, not that it matters anyways. I don't think I even have an eye colour; I've never bothered to lower my hood and for the sake of all I don't think I should. But I digress, I'll admit I may have had.....some hand in this, but it would seem what he's doing now is by his own volition. I know you're wondering why I'm doing this; well, I felt Sean's little turmoil at being a copy and decided to, help him out. Loki is my master's enemy and therefore my enemy; as are his underlings. I was merely killing two birds with one stone, or three birds if that becomes the case' Legion answered, though it was more directed at Nexev then Joe.
