Joe took the drawings as he listened to Nexev's words. Even more discrepancies. Joe wondered, and hoped if eventually Nexev would realize that things were different, and perhaps the Ranger side this time was the true side. "Well I'm willing to bet anything Vile had left he put into these Tetrarchs. You could probably even call them his kids in a sense. Nothing would make me happier than to at least even put up a good fight against them. Please, killing one at the moment is completely outside the realm of possibilities." Joe paused for a second and looked at Nexev very seriously. "Pray that you never have the misfortune of facing one. Every time someone meets one of them, they lose something. The battle, their girlfriend, ... and eventually ... probably their life."

------

Back in the underground caverns, MeteorKnight continued onwards as a flood of Strikers flung themselves at him from every direction. Each one meeting the same fate. He showed them not even a shred of recognition. They were like a swarm of mosquitos. Only an annoyance, and nothing more. As their numbers dropped to below half, their attitudes changed. They instead stood where they were and watched MeteorKnight float onwards. MeteorKnight noticed the obvious change, but paid it no attention. As he continued on, the remaining hord of Strikers followed him at a steady pace. He finally came into a final large chamber, its far walls covered in shadows. He again began to glow with his interchanging gold, purple and green auras, which illuminated all but the far wall of the cave. The room was like all the others. Bent railroad tracks litered the floor along with other digging equipment, such as several bulldozers that had been overturned and covered in rust. As he continued forward he spied a mangled body laying on the ground. As he slowly approached it, he noticed strange boney protrusions which grew like vines out of the body. This fit the description of Gargantia; however, it was too thin, too humanoid. He was finally right on top of it and noticed something he didn't expect. The bone-like vines were protruding from ... a ranger suit.

Nexev chuckled. "They were puzzles, if you knock them the right way they fall easy. I had to fight many of them before and we never lost. Of course I had a true morpher back then, not one made from scrap and the remnants of others as a basis. I am serious about Atlas though, aim for the mind. Besides that I'm not sure, Legion threw me off and I'm not sure the other tricks will still work." Nexev shrugged "You seem to be in one of those movies where everything goes wrong to convey some message. I suggest you find out what that message is. Maybe you should recruit from the army, that's what we did. Worked pretty well."more people, it's a mess but they will be in trouble if it's not cleaned, if you give the power to the people maybe they can be able to defend themselves."

Shadows flocked together and Legion formed in the food court of a mall. Everyone screamed and ran in panic from him. He watched as the mall emptied, security had run for their lives as well. 'I see why you're so good at making new friends' Broodwing quipped. Legion looked into a store full of clothes. He entered it and obsered the trendy duds. 'Why are humans so fascinated with beauty?' Legion questioned as he reached out and touched the soft fabric of a dress. It was a going out dress with ruby red colouring. 'Humans are like that. Their emotional spectrum is far beyond your capacity for emotion' Broodwing answered. 'Are you saying there is more to emotion than merely the base emotions?' Legion asked. 'Indeed, all the basic emotions mix together to create new ones, which mix to go even further. Excitement and joy mingle to create motivation. Fear is made from sorrow and irrationality. When you think about it, emotions beget new emotions which beget new emotions. In time you will understand this' Broodwing explained. 'We'll see' Legion answered and tore the sleeve off the dress.

Maybe it was an odd sense, but Legion had tied the torn sleeve to a point on his arm below the shoulder. He had come across a store for figurines. He knelt down to observe some marinish looking figures fighting aliens on a well built terrain. 'Humans have hobbies to keep them occupied. You're standing in front of a 'hobby shop', which caters to those hobbies. For example, those figures is part of some form of role-playing strategy game where you pit your forces against each other' Broodwing explained. 'But they don't fight, those guns don't work. They can't move by themselves' Legion protested. 'Another human trait, imagination. They imagine it and act it out in a way called role-playing; where they become their characters. Some do this in real-life, or do it on paper or digitally written' Broodwing answered. 'It sounds needlessly assinine' Legion stated as he entered the shop and sat down at a table. The game had been in progress before the occupants had fled. There was a rule-book nearby and Legion studied it. 'I'll bite, feel like a game Broodwing?' Legion inquired as he reapled the book and set up the pieces.

"I guess even a creature like you can have an inquisitive personality, Legion" Caoimhin said as he walked over to him. "I wondered what all the screaming and running from the humans was all about while i was taking a stroll around the city centre and it somehow didn't surprise me when i saw you. Don't get me wrong, i would like to fight you but it would be a futile one on my part so i will not bother for now." Caoimhin the noticed Legion looking at some game. "You find something interesting about these little figures?"

Legion looked up from the board at Caiomhin. 'Is there something that you want?' he inquired as another piece was moved. A shadow claw reared up and moved one of the oppositing side's pieces. 'Hmph, I see what you are trying to do, it won't work' Legion stated as he moved one of his own pieces. He swatted away the opposing piece with ease. 'I see what is meant by requiring an imagination to truly enjoy this game' he muttered, before looking back at Caiomhim. 'Are you still here? Really, is there something that you want? Or do you just enjoy staring at me?' he inquired.

"I'm just trying to figure out what is going on in your mind right now" Caoimhin answered calmly. "Plus this kind of reminds me of my homeworld when i was a young child. I remember watching the adults playing such games were they had to use there imagination and strategy to win. I never was good at it but seeing as i've been alive for many centuries, i may have improved over time. I definately struggled with the game the humans call 'chess'. You ever played chess before because i bet it would suit your personality very well in my opinion?"

Caoimhin noticed Legion was paying little attention to him. "I think with how you are with Deos it's quite like chess when the players only have their kings left. No one can lose, No one can win and your stuck in an endless game. That's why i think you'd need help against an enemy like that because not even you are strong enough to defeat an opponent as strong as it is by yourself."

Legion dropped the figure he was holding and faced Caiomhim. 'Make no mistake. I am superior when it comes to Deos and myself. I would have destroyed him already if not for him being able to escape my vision. He is corrupted reality; his extremelly erratic existance creates too many possibilitess at once to track him down. He can do anything he likes when he likes, creating no straight possibility for him. I can second guess most beings because of being privy to the realm of possibility, but Deos is different. He can do almost anything, a Thread of Fate would be useless until I confront him. Such is the nature of possibility' he answered.

"You can act all confident as you like but from what i can see all you have is a high level of intelligence but no physical strength to help you in your fight against Deos. All you have is that cowardly Thread of Fate technique which proves you have nothing else to show your versatility in battle and would rather be a wimp and take away their powers just so you can feel superior to everyone around you." Caoimhin pointed out to Legion, not caring if this would anger Legion or not. "And you are just using excuses to avoid fighting Deos because you know as well as i do that he's able to annilihate all other opposition with no sense of mercy in his personality. I hope he does destroy you as it would give me a chance to get my revenge on him. And you forgot one important piece of information. He copied my appearance so you could at some point make the fatal mistake of confusing him with me."

Legion summond his black sickle, but vanished it. 'Your words are pitiful. Such a trick would not fool me; copying an appearance doens't make you that appearance. Besides, why do I need to show off my strength when I can act through others? I already have Omega Force doing my work for me, including yourself. I don't need to sully my hands fighting your team and my main goal is achieved. I see nothing that could work against me in this' he smugly replied.

"You obviously confuse me for someone who wants to help you. I only serve my needs and i choose to help the rangers and only them when they are in need of it" Caoimhin replied. "And i wouldn't look so smug because you might not be smart enough to see through everything we rangers could have planned against you. I have no problem with rejecting the righteous ways the rangers act like just so i can defeat you, Atlas and Deos. I'll see you around sometime in the future most probably so for now this is goodbye" Caoimhin bowed to Legion before walking away from him, heading back to the rangers HQ.

Joe listened to Nexev's words. He didn't think the army would help much; however, he did miss some of his friends. He wondered if Chris and the others had been okay. After their loss of powers they went along their separate ways. He looked back at Nexev, "Well then, I better figure out that message quick." There was a moment of silence. "By the way, where's your counterpart, Ralis?"

---------

Back underground, MeteorKnight studied the suit. He was certain it was Omega Force due to the insignia on the chest; however, he didn't remember seeing a blue ranger.

Suddenly a small snicker arose from the remaining shadows. "Looks like you found what's left of my snack." A figure emerged from the darkness. The bones, the claws, the wings, there was no mistaking it ... this was Gargantia.

MeteorKnight turned to face him. "So this was some poor sap you corrupted with your Gargantile Seed?"

Gargantia looked at him inquisitively, as if to wait to hear what else MeteorKnight would say about it.

"You use your seeds to infect anyone who has darkness in their hearts, and you magnify it, and make them stronger. But only for a time. They do not realize that the energy surge is only temporary. A small gift from you, while their own life force is slowly drained out of them into you. Until finally, all that's left is a tormented carcass." He motioned to the body on the ground.

Gargantia laughed maniacally. "Vent truly was soo easy to control. He was so consumed with jealousy for the other Rangers, especially Dom. Controling him too no time at all, and thanks to him I was able to absorb his life force and thus making myself stronger. I was going to keep him on a bit longer, but Sean's evolution to Emerald Green Ranger was unexpected. I had to take matters into my own hand. Now I am the Master of my Realm."

"You are the Master of Nothing. You didn't foresee how your presence would irk Master Vile. Thus he created us, and especially me to silence you. And for one who talks so much, why hide. And send all your minions after me. They are more worthless than the rats that scurry around these floors", MeteorKnight said in a loud voice, knowing full well an assembly of Strikers was still around him. "

"I've been watching you."Gargantia began "You ..."

"Let me stop you right there." MeteorKnight interrupted. "If you think you're going to turn me from Vile as you turned Vent from the Rangers, you are gravely mistaken."

"I wasn't going to do that. " He lied. Gargantia quickly removed the disappointed look on his face. "I was just going to point out that I've been watching you. And you never seemed to be this talkative. Why is that?" Gargantia laughed a bit. "I'm curious to see exactly how this is going to end."

"The reason I chose to speak more now ... is to torment you. Every second that passes, casues you more and more fear, more anticipation on what's about to come. I'm ... as they say ... merely screwing with your head right now. As you've done to others. If I ended this now ... it would be too merciful for a creature such as yourself. But I do grow tired of this charade, so I'll tell you exactly how this is going to end." He paused for a moment or two to screw with Gargantia a little more. "With my blade, through your skull."

Gargantia clenched his teeth and shrieked loudly before leaping towards MeteorKnight.

Caoimhin returned to the HQ and quickly stormed into Zedren's office. "I hope you've made your decision now because i'm finding it hard to just let Legion and the others walk on the same ground we are and not being to do a damn thing about it. Please say you are going to use your old ways to give us an advantage to defeat the Tetrarchs." Caoimhin peered deep into Zedren's soul to see if he was growing weaker through the stress of everything that has recently happened.

Nexev shrugged "I have no idea where Ral is, he likes to do his own thing, or maybe that's me. But yeah, there are plenty ranger powers, if you gather them up and assign them to people, like a army squad, you will get much needed manpower. As I said, that's what we did. But I am wondering, if Dom can time travel, why is he just trying to get stuff? The only person who couldn't be destroyed from that is Deo, if you snag Broodwing then Legion wouldn't have his hate fueling him, if you aid Atlas or convince Zeus to spare the titans then Atlas will be strong enough to shrug off the mind control, if you cause Loki to have not been reviled from Asgard for accidentally murdering Baldr then he will never have become evil, just mischievous, he and thor were best friends for a reason. You know stuff like that. Or you can try to find your versions of the messiah powers, but it won't be easy, I've been to many dimensions and mine seemed to be the only one where they were unearthed." Nexev started to walk away. "Well I'll be seeing you." Nexev jumped off the building and disappered in a flash of light as soon as he passed the third floor.

Legion snorted as he dropped the figure he was holding and rose from the table, he had wasted too much time. 'I'll pick this game up later' he decided and walked off to another store. There were sirens wailing outside, but it seems the police were too afraid to enter. Legion ignored it as his attention was obtained by the next shop. It was bright colours and loaded with brands. Broodwing snickered loudly. 'Ah yes, the common candy shop. There is enough sugar here to create life' Broodwing explained. 'I think your idea of a sugar induced abomination should be forgotten Broodwing' Legion commented as he picked up a gummi bear. He threw it under his hood, but wretched with disgust and spat it out; the gummi bear with covered in black slime. 'That stuff is horrible' he cried. 'who knew your delicate constitution was so badly affected by harmless candy' Broodwing laughed. 'It's so sweet, how can humans eat this over and over again?' Legion demanded. 'Because, unlike you, humans enjoy sweet foods like lollipops. Their annoying spawn go mental over candy. Say, why not get some chocolate for your little girlfriend?' Broodwing suggested. Legion clammed up at that suggestion. 'She's not my girlfriend' he protested. 'I live in your mind Legion, I am privy to most of your thoughts. I know you are harbouring some feeling for her since your first little chat' Broodwing stated. Legion placed a hand over the left part of his chest. 'It's strange, since being in contact with her, I have had some feeling. It's as if I am developing my own emotions and feelings day by day. But I need to repress them. I couldn't live with those feelings, not of love. I couldn't bare it as she loves someone else, no one could love me' Legion sadly said.

Zedren looked at Caoimhin, "I have thought about what you've said." He paused for a moment. "I thought that using my resources to create a team would be enough, but it would do greater justice if i used my once evil tricks, instead of repress them. I have to use the same cunning i once used. So Caoimhin ... I have a plan. Possibly my most deceitful yet, but I'll eventually need your assistance. Can i count on you?"

--------

Joe watched as Nexev disappeared. He hoped that Dom's quest would make things better and even the playing field. "Wait ... he knows about Dom's quest ... but how?" Joe immediately radio'd Diabolico. "Nexev knows about Dom. And I'm wiling to bet Loki does too."

"I had feared this." Loki apparently has the abilities of Odin as well. "He can see through the eyes of others, specifically ravens. We must remain very vigilant."

Joe immediately left the building and headed on his way back to base to inform Zedren.

--------

Back underground, Gargantia flew towards MeteorKnight with his claws ready to strike. MeteorKnight side-stepped effortlessly as Gargantia flew past him and slammed into the wall with tremendous force, causing the cave to rattle slightly and the water puddles on the ground to ripple. He then ripped his claws out of the rock and slashed wildly at MeteorKnight. With each swipe, MeteorKnight moved to the opposite side, dodging each attack with ease. Gargantia was blinded by a mixture of his rage and fear, and MeteorKnight knew this. He knew that Gargantia would be no threat to him, but he did expect a little more difficulty. He waited for one of Gargantia's many misses before raising his shield arm and smacking Gargantia across the face with the shield, sending him flying to the ground. "Is this truly all that one of the so called Terrors of the Universe can muster. Your battle data shows you usually operating at thresholds much higher than this. Can you please try to make this more interesting? I can only toy with you for so long ... before even that become boring."

Gargantia hit the ground hard but got up immediately, even more enraged. He couldn't even speak, he was so overcome with rage. He screamed loudly causing the remaining strikers to swarm MeteorKnight. They crawled all over him, attempting to claw and bite him, but mainly, to distract him - and he knew this. As Gargantia snuck back into the shadows in an attempt to take MeteorKnight by surprise from behind, MeteorKnight was completely covered from head to toe by the hoards of strikers. Just then a discernable phrase was heard over all the Striker's squirming ... "Golden Radiance". Suddenly, small pockets of golden light started to radiate from the mass of Strikers. Within seconds, all the strikers were blasted off of him. The blast was soo strong, it evaporated the Strikers even before they hit the ground.

MeteorKnight's golden aura shined for one final time before fading for good. "A passing gift from the Gold Ranger." He then held up one of his hands and raised his middle and index fingers, which momentarily glowed green and purple respectively. "Two ranger powers to go ... Time's running out." He said that more as a threat to Gargantia, and not as a self imposed time-limit.

Caoimhin smiled and bowed to Zedren. "I will assist you in anyway possible against them for i too what our current enemies eradicated from this universe by any means possible. Even though i used to follow Zordon's words, through this course of time i have slowly begun to have my own ideas on how we should act to defeat our opponents which is only natural if you look back on this planet's history. So much evolution of thoughts and laws have passed in each country of this world while we rangers have been to stubborn in our righteous ways. I believe that stubborness will eventually destroy us somehow so we need to rethink whatever unspoken rules we rangers have and change them to match to the path this universe is taking."

Caoimhin checked to see if any of the other rangers where nearby Zedren's office before locking the door. "So what is this plan you have in mind?"

Ralis teleported on top of the roof where Nexev had just stood. "Oh bloody hell the second I hear he's up here he just goes away!" Ralis shouted, punching the top of the the building in anger, he needed to find a ranger, any ranger, he didn't care whether it was Nexev or Panther, he just needed to find somebody and smash them. The Elephant Ranger sighed, this had not been a very good day, he had just discovered something about his powers, something that had not made him happy at all. Ralis needed a fight, he needed to vent his anger on someone or something, preferably living. He then chuckled to himself, maybe he could go to the ranger's base, then the rangers would have to fight him, and Panther would always want a rematch looking at the way he had tried to grab him last time, yes call him out, that should work, but maybe he should try a more, direct approach.

Smiling, Ralis teleported to the center of Angel Bay Park, slicing everything in his sight, laughing as he did so. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty, come out to play..."

Back at the Ranger base, as Zedren finished telling his plan to Caoimhin, the saw the sensors trace a large power level in the heart of Angel Bay Park. Zedren brought up the video scanners and saw Ralis destroying everything in his path. He immediately ran to the microphone and sounded the alarms. "Rangers, report. The Emerald Elephant Ranger is attacking Angel Bay Park. He appears to be alone at the moment; however, his team mate may not be far behind. Proceed with Caution."

The alarm sounded just as Joe was almost back at base. He knew he still had to inform Zedren about Dom's trip, but this threat took precedence. He morphed as he made his way to the park. There he saw Ralis going nuts.

"Stop right there." Joe paused "So, apparently you want to get someone's attention. Well you did a good job. Where's Nexev, or are you acting as a free agent here?"

"Oh hello Joesph, not exactly who I was ringing for, but you'll do the trick eh?" Ralis said, cackling a bit before leaning on a nearby wall. "Nexev ain't here right now Goldilocks, though I wouldn't put it against him to join the fun, no, this is a personal thing. My counterpart, little kitty, would you happen to know his location? There are only so many ways I can contact him, what's a poor guy to do?" Ralis then let out another laugh "I really need to stop laughing at my own jokes, but again, do you know the location of Sean, I need to have a little chat with him."

Joseph paced around Ralis. "Well i'm sure he heard the alert just like i did. So he should be here soon." As Joe said this, he thought about how he hadn't seen Sean in a while. He had heard from Diabolico how he stormed out and then returned very apologetically. This made him also think of what Nexev had said. About how in his universe, Sean betrayed the team for power and tried to kill him. But that was a different dimension, Sean couldn't do that here. Although he had seen him become overly emotional lately with the insufficiencies of his powers - wait, what was he thinking. It couldn't be. Joe looked back at Ralis "Any particular reason you want him. You seem a but more ... on edge than you were last time." Joe didn't drop his guard for a second.

"Well mate, there's been... a little change in plans with me and my powers, I just discovered a little thing that he might want to know about. Listen, rest of you rangers seem like a alright bunch, if we met under different settings I'm sure we'd be best of chums, but Panther, something about him just puts me on edge." Ralis then retracted his blades, this was just a chat, he had no reason to kill him if he didn't attack, only person that had the luxury of having him attack them was Panther, and he won't be showing up for a bit. "So how was your little chat with Nexy? Just cracked a bottle and relax from trying to kill each other?"

Joe was shocked for a few reasons. At first he wondered how Ralis knew about the chat, but then he remembered about Loki's ability to use Odin's powers of seeing through ravens. He was also shocked at how these new rangers acted. Very different from Dominic and that Valon character who was with Vile for a short time. These seemed almost polite ... well at least to him. Either he brought out the best in people, or they just really didn't like Sean. Joe unmorphed, but stayed vigilant. He walked over towards one of the benches and sat on the top of it, with his feet on the seat itself. "Yah, we had a little chat. You should of joined us. " Joe said with a smirk.

Meanwhile, Sean was standing in the main room, looking at the screen and listening to Joe and Ralis's conversation. I'll have my fight with you soon, Ralis. he thought. He then heard the last thing Ralis said about him. "How do I put him on edge?" he asked to himself. "I can understand the me he's talking about is from another dimension, but that's never going to happen, ever." Sean sighed. Let's hope Legion tells me when I get my chance at revenge. Because I'm getting very impatient.

Legion sensed the frustration of Sean and Ralis' appearance in town. 'It seems my new pet is restless, it is time for me to live up to my side of the bargain' he remarked and summoned his black sickle. A Thread of Fate appeared, it was glowing with emerald light. 'With this, you will feel invincible, go forth and collect what you will. You will truly be the greater force' he delcared and cut the thread. There was an eerie quiet, despite what will soon be happening.

OOC: Sean will now feel an overwhelming confidence and all of Ralis' rolls when fighting Sean will become 1.

Sean then felt a gigantic surge of power flow through him. Now this is more like it! he thought as he teleported in a black mist. Suddenly, where Joe and Ralis were speaking, a giant dark cloud began to blanket over the two, losing sight of each other. A voice was heard from Ralis, saying, "Ralis? Oh, Ralis? It's time for fate to come! Then out of nowhere, what seems like black claws came into Ralis's field of vision for only a split second, since it hit him with brute force, causing the cloud to slowly diminish by being absorbed by a figure. Once, the cloud was fully absorbed, it was revealed to be Sean. Sean then began to walk over to him slowly and say, "It looks like I got the best of you! Now it's time for you to understand that I'm the only one who should have these powers, not you!"
