"And how are you going to be of help to me? You are just as useless in defeating him as I am, Queen Banshera. Also, why did you call Hermes my relative?" Caoimhin questioned Banshera. What could she have in mind that would be able to eliminate such a powerful demon. Caoimhin had no choice but to accept her help if he wanted to live, though, it made him feel even worse knowing that Banshera is just using him for her own personal needs. "I accept your aid, Queen Banshera."

Brandon gave this decision a lot of thought, but managed to find a plan. "Okay. Catherine get the second laser drill thats in the Zord bay. Having both our drills working together can make this job faster." he said as he continued drilling the rocks. "Now Andros. Your job's a bit harder, but I'm sure you can manage. I want you to activate the Lio Zord. After change his power from main power to auxillery. This is cause all weapons to shut down execpt the laser rifles I upgraded. Once we get this rock weakened, fire at it and this blockade with be no more." he explained as he fired the laser part of the drill against the rock.

[The Warden]

Like now, whenever he is bored, Legion is once again found alone in his void. He was sitting on a small floating island, big enough for him to sit upn. He felt a feeling of smug satisfaction. Banshera has begun proving her usefulness, and that is always delightful. In turn, he couldn't help but grin. 'My machinations are working as planned. Soon I will get Olympius killed, and then Banshera once her usefulness has ended' he said, he was in high spirits. 'You really are becomming much like Vile. You use something and then discard it once it stops being useful' Broodwing noted. Legion gave a quick laugh. 'The difference is, I use and terminate those who no one else cares about'.

Queen Banshera smiled evilly at Caoimhin's words. Just as he accepted, a black circle formed around him, about 6 feet wide. Intersecting lines criss-crossed around him and made a weird symbol. A platform began to emerge around him, as it did, chains began to bind to his arms and legs - much like how Banshera looked when she was bound in the demon world. He couldn't move an inch

 

"I know this looks bad, but trust me. It'll work. You just have to play along." Queen Banshera began to draw more of the designs outside the circle as she spoke. They were spaced a few feet apart. She had already drawn 2, and judging from the distance, there were about 6 left to draw.

In the zord bay, the drilling was almost complete. Andros readied the lazers and fired when Brandon and Catherine were clear. The rubble fell away and the flow into the outside water started to return to normal. "Is that everything Brandon?" Andros asked.

Back in the mall, as Akhom and Nexev waited they heard footsteps. It was an elderly gentleman approaching them. "And what might you lads be up to?" he asked.

 

Akhom looked at him "You know the usual, vandalizing, stealing, causing trouble." he said in a joking voice.

 

"Oh yes, you two look very threatening. Especially you in the incredibly large toga." he laughed and then looked at Nexev "and how bout you my boy. What brings you to this spot. Go ahead an tell me the truth now. I've been around quite a bit, and i know some things."

[Nexev]

Nexev thought a bit. "Well, a while ago I was a superhero but then some s*** happened so I am not a super hero, then I became a super villain for a dark god of chaos who has taken the body of the wise and noble king of gods. THEN I went and messed around with this power ranger named Joe and then Joe somehow got sick and fell unconscious, that is because inside the sword was this guy." Nexev pointed to Arkhom. "Who is a ancient all powerful demon who was stabbed in the back bye the demon queen and the god of the dead, someone who is completely unrelated to the god of chaos I work for. Now while the demon queen and god of dead where totally banging at this point they somehow didn't like Arkhom so sealed him into a sword. THEN the dead god's b**** gave the sword to Joe because Joe punched the s*** out of a cursed sea nymph, medewhatever I think her name was. THEN because Joe got sick and whatnot he turned into Arkhom cause Arkhom absorbed Joe but not really more like fused into or whatever. Then I tried to recruit him but he decided to join the dead b**** cause he is a idiot. Then the dead b**** resolved to kill him, I am still not sure why, I think he may be a idiot. ANYWAY Arkhom decided to train this annoying guy who made a deal with the provirbal devil, Smokey the notbear. Smokey btw is some ghost who is TOTALLY trying to bang Joe's girlfriend, it's kinda funny if it wasn't creepy as hell. Anyway since Arkhom started training the annoying dude he became a lot less annoying but then they had to fight this super fast Griffon thing, I helped and then we fought his ghost and we got a coin out of it. HOWEVER I lost my T of ultimate power in the battle so now we where planning a adventure to find one of the dark and evil weapons sealed under here, because this is Angel Grove, bad stuff seems to gather here like their is a candy sale. Then you showed up." Nexev stopped and took a deep breath because. "You know, this sounds pretty silly when you think about it."

[Fallen Hero]

"How is this going to help me finally kill Akhom, Queen Banshera?" questioned Caoimhin as he tried to pull himself out of the chains. "How is binding me in chains going to aide me?...I'm pretty much like a sacrificial lamb who's going to be offered to some god like this." Caoimhin pulled harder on the chains but the chains seemed to tighten around his arms and legs more till they dragged him down to his hands and knees. "What kind of plan is it that you have in mind?"

The old man shrugged. "What's sillier I wonder, the story you told me ... or the fact i believe every word of it. haha" he laughed. "And you" he motioned to Akhom, "he says your with this god's ... uh ... dog. And yet you two are hanging out. And this smokey fellow as well? Well well my friend, it seems you are allies with everyone. A very political stance - I approve. But if i were you, I'd go take a stroll on the beach." he said in a weird tone.

 

Akhom was getting a strange read from this guy. There was something hidden about his message, but it didn't seem threatening. 'Nexev can handle himself' he thought. "We'll I'll go take a looksy" Akhom replied to the old man. "Catch you two later." And with that, Akhom vanished

 

The old man then turned back to Nexev, "It seems the only idiot in your story is this new boss of yours. Why did you change management?" the old man questioned curiously. "Oh, and as far as the whole magic device thing ... i'll answer that in a moment. i want to hear your tale first." the man smiled kindly

Back on the beach, Olympius suddenly appeared. "Excellent mother. You always have the upper hand don't you."

 

"Yes my boy." she responded coldly, "now leave us".

 

"That new mind manipulation ability of yours is certainly coming in quite handy. I mean ... for him to not only accept your help, but also to accept that crack pot tale you told him." Olympius added, trying to suck up and praise Banshera

 

Banshera was getting annoyed. "Silence you insolent brat. My word, didn't anyone ever teach you to keep your mouth shut." She rolled her eyes.

 

"My apologies mother. But its not like there's anything he can do. These binds will get tighter as he struggles. And the other rangers are too preoccupied." he was trying to explain himself.

 

"Shut up." she snapped. "Just sit back and watch while i finish these symbols."

 

There were now 4 symbols drawn, and 4 to go

[Nexev]

"When did I say that my management changed? Who's to not say that I joined the chaos smuck as soon as I switched sides? Or even worse, who is to say he didn't simply change sides with me, he's a chaos god after all, they do stuff like this a lot." Nexev shrugged. "Anyway, I got orders from the higher ups to switch dimensions and help the guy out in this realm instead of my old. Oh yeah, from a different universe, forgot to mention that I guess." Nexev stared at the old man. "So some thing tells me I won't get an alias from you, gotta play mr Big and Mysterious after all, but then can you atleast tell me what you seek from doing... whatever it is your doing.

[DNovaKnight]

The old man smiled at Nexev's words. "Yes, that is how it works i guess." he laughed a little. "Think of me as ... well. I'm not exactly sure what to make myself as. It's changed over the years, and people have many different ideas of that. BUT ... i will at least say that I'm not too far off from you and Akhom i guess. I like to have my fun, and well ... make things interesting." he began to pace slightly. "Create unseen radicals, in an otherwise set in stone outcome. And from what i can see ... my actions have thus far had quite an impact." He then winked at Nexev

 

"But aside from that, what powers are you exactly seeking? I have a pretty good mind, and know a thing or two. Perhaps i can help a bit." he offered

While Brandon thought about Andros' question, he had to think ahead. What if another Tetrach attacks and possibly start overtaking the team easily, they are going to need a back-up team and he knew just how to do it, at least somewhat. "Okay. Andros, you keep Lio in standby and help me with cleaning up the zord bay for launch purposes. While Lio's in standby, he'll recharge his main battery and keep the base's defenses and electricity up." he explained as he started swimming up to the surface. "Catherine. I want you to prep some of the zords that fit into a Megazord configuration. If we are going to launch the zords, they have to combine when they launch out and before they hit the water."

[The Warden]

Legion appeared behind Olympius, it was silent but deadly teleport. His shadows grabbed the demon prince, making sure to stop his arms from moving and being able to talk. 'So sorry about this Banshera, but he does love to tlak, doesn't he?' Legion inquired lazily. He made sure to tighten his hold on Olympius, at this point he didn't need the demon prince messing things up further. Thankfully, Banshera was doing an excellent job luring Akhom, and if all went well, he may just get Olympius destroyed once Akhom arrives as well.

[Fallen Hero]

"So you have a son...interesting...once I've killed you for tricking me into this almost fatal trap, I will go after your son and have him impaled on a large stake and sent to the demon world as a message to all who want to join Vile's group." Caoimhin informed Banshera and he tried to figure out what purpose these symbols have that are being carved by her. "Don't you think that Atlas may want to challenge me still before I die? I think he would not like to hear what you've done and may take his anger on you, he is a somewhat mindless creature right now."

[The Warden]

Legion yawned loudly at Caoimhin's empty threats. 'You know, for someone who is in mortal peril, you certainly don't seem to shut up about your tiny little imagination Cao. I suggest you remain silent unless addressed, for your own personal safety' Legion stated as his shadows tightened their hold on Olympius. 'And for the matter Atlas won't say anything about this. He isn't as mindless as you would believe nor as stupid. I am certain that he is observing us right now, and waiting to see what comes next'.

[DNovaKnight]

"Yes, you really should learn to only speak about things you know." Banshera addressed Caoimhin. "Whether Akhom appears or not makes no difference to me. I'll charm him just as I did you." Her eyes glowed orange again to show caoimhin what her son meant by her mind control technique. "One of those fool demons I ate before had the ability, and it's been working quite well ever since. At first I thought i was only good for demons, but if it worked on you it'd certainly work on Akhom." she smiled "So I'll either absorb you and kill him ... or have him kill you and then absorb him. Either way I win."

 

at this moment Vile mentally contacted Legion, "Don't worry I heard all of that. Seem like we were right to keep a suspect eye on them. We should distance ourselves from them soon. We don't want someone that loose with information on our side."

 

As Queen Banshera finished off two more symbols and began to work on the second to last one, a lone figure appeared out of no where. It was Akhom.

[The Warden]

Legion chuckled gently at Akhom's approach; he released the demon prince as he stood his ground.

 

'Why Akhom, welcome to our little fiesta' he said to the approaching demon/human hybrid.

 

'I trust you know my new friend, Queen Banshera here' he said pleasantly, waving a hand not in her direction.

 

He then motioned to Olympius, who was breathing quite heavily after being choked. 'And this is her charming son, Prince Olympius. It's just one great big happy reunion' he continued, which, at this point it was pretty obvious that he was mocking Akhom.

 

'Now stay and enjoy the canapes'.
