"MeteorKnight absorbs energy...so that's his strength in battle." Caoimhin tried to communicate with Zedren. "Zedren, can you hear me?" he whispered into his communicator. "MeteorKnight has appeared at the beach, I'll need some backup. From what I know about him, he seems to absorb the energy from his victims. I have an idea so prepare the zords to help fight him." Caoimhin waited for a response from Zedren before he dared to attack MeteorKnight right now.

Legion bounced his index finger on his chin lightly. 'Impus to Olympius. That's not destined for quite some time. Although, with a little tinkering we could have it right now in fact; he commented. Summoning his sickle, a thread of fate formed, he swiftly slashed it as a loud roar rumbled through the dimension. 'Now that possibility will come to fruition. In all possibilities there was a powerful yet dim-witted demon that would have been alert of your presence had you not devoured his informant. However, I have put into his mind that he was alerted to this and is coming right now. If you can extract his power and place it in Impus, he will certainly become battle ready. But, better hide' he warned and melted away into the shadows.

As Legion hid, so did Queen Banshera. She left the baby Impus out as bait of sorts.

A little while later, its cries attracted something. A large figure approached. It seemed humanoid at first but as it got closer its features revealed very thick skin and large protruding teeth. looked almost like a two legged saber tooth cat that got crossed with a shadow and and dragon. It came upon the baby. Completely unaware of why he was there or why he suddenly had the urge to follow its cries.

As it reached over the body, Queen Banshera again lashed out two of her tentacles and started to struggle with the monster. It was a much higher level demon than the others. It obviously had been fighting for ages, whereas Banshera was still rusty. She materialized a third tentacle this time and used it to impale the monster where it stood. The blook dripped down around the baby Impus. She began to chant something and suddenly the creatures turned into a blackish red liquid that siphoned into the baby's mouth.

The baby glowed bright red and suddenly grew into a fully formed being. "I have returned!!!" It cried. Its violent tail smashed across the ground. It clenched its fists and you could hear the bones cracking. This creature was slightly different from the original fully grown form that was seen prior by the Light Speed Rangers.

-----------------

Zedren crackled back over the intercom. "This is really bad timing Caoimhin. Legion was here earlier for a brief moment. He caused quite a bit of damage in that time to the zord hanger. For the time being they are nonoperational. And the other rangers are out of it as well. Brandon and Sean are still recovering. I haven't even been able to find Akhom anywhere. It's like he's disappeared, and with him gone I doubt Loki's ranger will show either." She informed Caoimhin.

"The point is, try to get out of there! We hardly survived the last encounter with a Tetrarch. I don't think now is the best time to try to fight a stronger one - that we know relatively nothing about." Zedren pleaded

-----------------

Meanwhile, the old man and MeteorKnight still stared each other down.

"Come on sunshine" The old man sneered in a sarcastic tone "I'm waiting to be impressed."

MeteorKnight still stared at him, as calm as anything. It seemed as though emotions were of no hindrance to this behemoth.

Legion chuckled as he grew from the shadows. 'This will turn out to be quite the beautiful friendship' he said to Banshera. Walking closer to them both, he grabbed one of his shadows are hurled it in a dramatic manner, obscuring the scene for a moment. After the shadow fell, the trio was gone.

They warped straight to Vile's chamber, Legion was already on one knee. 'Master Vile, I have brought with me two beings who share your personal quest for revenge against the rangers' he announced, raising up and turning a ahnd to the demons. 'I would like to introduce Queen Banshera and her son, Prince Olympius' he stated.

Arkhoms text was returned swiftly...ish.

"O: Nooo fair! Hogging all the good kills! It's hard to do my job when my targets are somewhate decent! Jerk.

But anyway yeah, how about the mall? SHOP SPREE FOR THE WIN! BTW, whatever happened with that Wolf ranger? Haven't seen him in awhile. Oh and there is another Tetratch attack, some old geezer is squaring off with him though. See you there"

Nexev signed off, and then proceeded to... walk to the mall. Nexev really missed his magical powers.

Vile stood up to welcome his guests. "Banshera. Ahh yes. I've heard quite a bit about you. quite the impressive resume you have there. And Olympius, it's a pleasure to meet you as well. Now then, what brings you here?"

"I aim to get my revenge on Akhom. And then the rangers who trapped me in the demon world." she screeched.

"Well Akhom seems to be using the vessel of one of my old enemies. So I would preferably like to be the one to kill him, but I'm sure we can ... arrange a compromise. And as far as the rangers, LightSpeed disbanded a long time ago. However, Omega Force is their new branch. And some of the old staff still works with them. So I'm sure you'll find that satisfactory." Vile offered

"I find this acceptable. And yes, we'll think of a compromise for Akhom. Maybe cut him in half?" she joked.

"Ahahaha. I like the way you think my dear" Vile laughed. "But - not to be rude or anything, but what can you two exactly offer me?" He questioned

Queen Banshera got a little irritated, but after seeing the abilities of Legion, she calmed herself knowing that there are several others probably like him. "I can help you create monsters, or fight the rangers. Olmpius is more than up to the challenge." She volunteered her son without even consulting him.

"Yes, I will fight whoever stands against us." Olympius offered.

Vile could see that Banshera probably saw her son as nothing more than an expendable weapon, and Olympius was too much of a momma boy to even care. Vile would have to keep an eye on her if she would even use her own son as a pawn. "Consider it a deal Banshera. I will still have the controling interest in this little merger, but I'll be glad to accommodate you in which ever way i can. And as far as monter creation, i think we are good at the moment. We recently lost one of the Tetrarchs to the Rangers. So a fresh face is welcome."

Vile then shot Legion a quick glance and a telepathic warning 'keep an eye on our guests. she's been known to back-stab.'

Vile then returned his attention to Queen Banshera and her son "Welcome, to Team Vile." he offered while making a glass of wine appear in their hands. "Legion, afterwards show our guests around."

------------

Akhom sat in the ruined mall. He hung off the second floor railing by his legs. His hair falling above his head. He was just sitting there thinking, calm, relaxed. He then got Nexev's text. He replied:

Okiessss, meet you at the mall. I saw Wolfy the other day, but left him to help with Griff. We'll talk at the mall

Akhom again made his phone disappear and just continued to hang there waiting for Nexev. 'Hmm, wonder where Dominic went to?' he thought to himself

Legion bowed and left a little message of his own. 'I know' he replied happily. He then showed the demonic duo out.

'We are currently stationed in Vile's lair, though, for reasons of security I can't say where it is. We just come and go' he explained as they walked through the lair. 'Vile has gone out of his way to enforce a vendetta against the rangers, going so far as to cut his life force down in greta margins in order to create the Tetrarchs. GriffEND was born, but sadly, he is no longer with us. His spirit now serves the rangers. Atlas, after years of torture had a weak mind which was easily dominated by Vile. Meteor Knight was born from a meteor, the same one that killed Ivan Ooze in fact. And then there's me. Crafted from shadows and empowered by a living sacrifice' he explained nonchalantly. 'Sadly, he didn't have time to give me a personality, so I've been building one for a while. Wish I could say the same for emotions, they're very random at the moment. So, I'm not sure if the randomness is making me think that you are one attractive demoness or it's me. It's kinda frustrating' he added, wonder why though?

The intercom crackled again. Brandon was on the line in between Zedren and Caoimhin. "I'm at the zord deck now. Legion has done some pretty bad damage to some of the hanger, but I can repair most of the damages." he explained. "Apparently, the only zord that doesn't go through the launch pad is Lio and its water path is blocked off badly. Its gonna take about an hour at the least to clear the path. So Zedren, what are your orders? Should I go, or should I clear Lio's path?" he asked.

As Auric and Izabel sat in their room, Auric's head suddenly perked up.

"What's up" Izabel asked.

Auric shivered "It seems Vile's found a replacement for his fallen Tetrarch, a replacement of the demon kind."

"You think it's Joe, or Akhom I guess? Legion said he was a demon right. Or maybe its Dominic?" Izabel questioned

Auric shook his head "I'm not familiar with many demons, so i couldn't be sure. But if it is Akhom or Dominic, perhaps they have a plan. It wouldn't be the first time they've been crafty."

Izabel smiled, "I guess we'll find out"

----------

Queen Banshera listened to all Legion had to say. "Interesting, interesting. Anyone else here? Minions? Monsters? Captives?" she could smell the trace of a human, but she didn't know where it was from.

----------

Akhom still waited in the mall for Nexev, still hanging upside down.

Akhom then started to wonder about this old man. Why would an old man get involved with a Tetrarch, or rather was it the other way around? hmmm This whole thing was becoming very interesting ... and fun. haha

----------

Zedren crackled back "Brandon, the situation is very fragile. We've hardly recovered after that last one. And it seems as though MeteorKnight is at the beach, but hasn't attacked yet. I would preferably like to avoid a conflict at this moment, but just in case, yes. Clear the path immediately and help repair the zords. I'll send Andros, Cole and some of the others to help you."

----------

Back at the beach, MeteorKnight slowly raised his sword arm. The old man still stayed still. MeteorKnight slowly approached and raised his sword in the air. He then brought the sword down on the man. It was a very sloppy attack, something you wouldn't expect from someone as purely skilled and calculating as MeteorKnight - but he was trying to force the man into a counter attack.

The man just rolled to the side at the perfect angle to avoid it. There wasn't anything special about the dodge, it just seemed ... lucky. Or maybe ... he could see it coming. MeteorKnight swung again, and missed just as clumsily. But was it because of MeteorKnight, or the old man, or luck?

MeteorKnight stopped and analyzed the situation again. He moved closer and then further away. The old man walked slightly back and forth. It appeared they were sizing each other off. This was either the most epic stand off ever ... or the most boring fight ever.

Nexev finally arrived at the mall, looking very cross. "You have no idea how long it takes to walk here from a mysterious base. Stupid missing all powerful cross of convenience." Nexev grumbled to himself. He walked towards Arkhom. "um.... how's it hanging? I guess...." Nexev said as he looked at Arkhom. "So, what now? Do we go shop at Wal-mart or something, never really had to find all powerful artifacts, though I think I remenber a few that your universe shouldn't have unearthed yet. But allot of those... yeah you don't want unleashed." Nexev shrugged. "Super trap mazes and stuff are usually there for a reason and all that."

OOC: I'm just gonna get Banshera out of here, for this moment.

Legion chuckled warmly as he stopped them by a doorway. 'Minions, we have our Shadow Strikers, somewhere in any case. Monsters, well, I am certain you are familiar with Atlas eh? A heh heh heh, and myself of course. As for captives, don't worry yourself over such a frivolous thing, it need not concern you' he answered before opening the door to a bedroom of sorts. 'You may take this lodgings Queen Banshera, I will direct your son to a suitable room' he said warmly as he showed her in. 'Come on' he said to Olympius.

Along the way down the hallway, he stopped, but kept his back to the demon prince. 'Whilst I did say the captives were of no concern to your mother, to you however, that may be different. I currently have in my custody the girlfriend of the lead ranger, who is currently possessed by Akhom, your mother's mortal enemy. Think about it, seducing the enemy's girlfriend, making her love you. It would drive the Joe side mad with anguish, debilitating the Akhom side in a way that you could defeat him and drain his powers Olympius. You'd become the most powerful demon ever' he said, his words seemed to make sense, or perhaps, it was the way he said it. It seemed extremely, tempting.

Akhom smirked at Nexev and fell backwards. He somersaulted in the air and landed on his feet perfectly. He then too the pose of an Olympic gymnast that stuck the landing. He seemed proud of himself, but saw Nexev was bummed. "Aw, can't blame a demon for trying."

"Now then as far as shopping. If you want a leather jacket or something, heres a perfect place. BUT ... these mystery unearthed weapons sound interesting. I love a challenge. And you know, you could of texted me to pick you up" he then disappeared.

He then reappeared behind Nexev, " so just tell me where you want to go and I'll take you there. Sound good?"

--------

Olympius looked at Legion. "An interesting offer. Mother would be proud of how strong I'd become - and also cause here nemesis harm." always bringing it back to pleasing his mom.

"But how could I make a human fall in love with me - and such a vile species they are." Olympius then spit on the ground.

Legion chuckled, it was smug. 'Humans themselves are weak minded, you are thinking like a human. Use magic and power to bend her will to you, exact love isn't possible like that, but to know he lost her would be absolutely heart rending' he explained, putting on a dramatic show to help emphasize this. He then chuckled again. 'Be creative in whooing her, magic, poison....sincere feelings. As long as you make her yours, Akhom will be emotionally crushed' Legion said, clecnhing his fist tightly.

Olympius smiled. "Yes, mother will be so proud. Let me show you how it's done." she moved Legion aside and walked into the room. There Izabel and Auric were throwing darts at a dart board.

Izabel turned to the newcomer "If that's you Legion, those new clothes make you look kind of fat." she joked

"Silence! I'm am Olympius, son of Queen Banshera.I am famous." he declared, in a very dramatic egotistic way. He was obviously trying to impress her.

Izabel gave him a blank stare. Shen then looked away, "Never heard of you".

Auric then added "Auric has never heard of you either. Your mother yes, but not you."

Izabel smiled "Some celebrity you are"

"Wait!" Auric then exclaimed. " come to think of it, Auric has heard something about a son. But he was nothing more than a brat." izabel giggled at this.

"a whiny little cry baby" auric continued. And izabel laughed a little harder. She was trying to hold it back.

"In fact, Auric and Ninjor once had a bet that if that little brat ever grew up, would he start sucking up to his mom OR keep sucking on his pacifier. But I guess we were both right." Auric finally finished.

Izabel couldn't hold it in anymore. Her and Auric were both laughing hysterical at Olympius.

Legion was laughing to himself as well. 'These demons are too easily controlled. Olympius is controlled by his ego and his desperate urge to please mummy dearest. And she herself is controlled by her basest desire of revenge and power. Maybe I was a fool in considering these two my rivals' he thought before entering the room and grabbing Olympius by the shoulder. 'Sorry about this, it seems my pet got loose' he apologized before dragging Olympius out of the room and closing the door.

He had then dragged Olympius further down the corridor. 'My god demon boy, I may be privy to all the cheesiest and corny pick-up lines in the far-off future, but that was the worst effort I have ever seen. Clearly it proves you're not mature enough for this plan to work. Go, forget it, I wasted my time. I may as well go kill Akhom' Legion snapped. As funny as it would have been, Legion wanted Olympius dead, not embarassed.

"But, but, but ..." Olympius tried to reason before he was shoved into his room.

At this moment, Vile telepathically messaged Legion" How are things going Legion? Are our guests ... contained?"

--------

Back on the beach, the old man noticed out of the corner of his eye ... a group of seagulls had gathered nearby. He smiled. He then started making a strange call and swung his cane back and forth at them. They quickly got startled and flew up in a flurry. Being the tallest thing around, they swarmed around MeteorKnight. Feathers were everywhere.

MeteorKnight's vision was impaired with all the multiple targets. As soon as the birds cleared, the old man was gone. MeteorKnight stared blankly at the spot, he searched the area swiftly with his eye. He focused on Caoimhim's spot quickly, but eventually moved on. After a moment of so, he drifted back into the ocean ... out of sight.

A letter fluttered to Caoimhin's feet.

haha I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne, "Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky." Anyway, sorry for running. We'll meet again - I'll make sure of it. ;) and remember what i said about the whole Akhom thing. You need an unbiased source. Or at least get your source to cut the double talk.

~ a friendly old man

Legion replied back curtly whilst leaning on the cold stone walls. 'They are, and I've been testing something. Banshera is quite an intelligent woman, but Olympius' he replied, but sighed with annoyance. 'He is an arrogant and egotistical moron. He is too desperate too please Banshera, frankly, I see no use for the either of them. We'll use them as normal, and dispose of them when their usefulness has ended, and usurp whatever troops they might have. There is no room for weakness in the Tetrarchs' he added.

"Glad to hear. I was first afraid that you would think of them as replacements for GroifEnd. But they aren't. You are in a class of your own, and those washed up demons would sooner screw us over rather than help us." vile admitted

"Banshera holds no sway with demon armies anymore. So there is little use to her. At this point, I'm actually more curious with what kind of chaos she'll cause for the rangers and Akhom." he laughed slightly. "Dare I say it, I'd sooner pay Akhom to finish her off than make a partnership with her."

Legion smiled at that comment. 'I'm aware. Currently, I'm trying to find a way to get Olympius killed without attracting attention to me. My first plan failed for obvious reason, but, I have a second idea already in the wings to get him killed. Once his usefulness has ended I'll enact. Don't worry Master Vile, this one is foolproof, even Olympius-proof' he replied. It was going to work, this plan. Legion knew it all to well that getting Olympius under his thrall would be way too easy. He just wondered how long it would take for Akhom to kill him.

The com-link crackled again. "Alright. I'm on it." Brandon stated as he closed the link and headed off to Lio's port. Though its in the launch bay section of the base, Lio's path wouldn't be affected by the bay problems, excluding the current rocks blocking the path. As he was there, he broke the 'break in case of blocked path' glass, which contained a laser drill. He ran towards the open water andgot into a divers suit, which was very tight and constricting compared to his ranger form. He put on the air tank and jumped in. In little time, he noticed a bunch of rocks blocking the water. Using the laser drill his shot a thin beam, weakening the rock, and then drilling in that spot to destroy it. It was gonna take some time the rocks were bigger than anyone expected.

Vile answered Legion "sounds like an excellent plan. I can't wait to see it in action."

--------

Back at the mall, Akhom put his hand on Nexev's shoulder. "Just think of where you want to go and I'll take you there. But make it fast ... i have a feeling we're gonna want to stay within earshot of Angel Bay." Akhom sniffed with his nose, as if he smelled something familiar, somewhere.

--------

Queen Banshera stayed in her room and pondered "Things seem to be working perfectly. Within a small while, I'll have Vile and his precious trio under my control. Not to mention my big brained son who will do anyhting to please mommy dearest. This couldn't be any better." She then closed her eyes and observed the city. Trying to find the remaining two Tetrarchs so she could judge their abilities; however, she spied upon Caoimhin still hidden behind the rocks. "Ahh, so he's here. He could work quite nicely with my plans for Akhom. This is truly to perfect hahahahaha"

---------

A few minutes after Brandon had started weakening the boulders, two more divers appeared to help him. It was Andros and Catherine.

"Hey Brandon," Catherine radio'd "We're here to give you a hand."

"Yup," Andros agreed "How can we help?"

Caoimhin remained hidden behind the rocks looking at the letter that appeared the same time the old man disappeared. He was left in total confusion about the situation with Akhom now. Who could he really trust in this dilemma? Was any of the information given to him reliable? Why hasn't Akhom gone looking for him yet? "I wish there was some way of know the absolute truth. Maybe the gods will actually come and help me for once."

All of a sudden, Caoimhin heard a familiar voice, it was a voice he never expected to hear again. "Well, well, well. Well if it isn't the little guardian." It was Queen Banshera. "What's wrong? Have the gods forsaken you? Your friends abandoned you? The work of your forefathers gone undone? And now you sit here, waiting for death at the hands of Akhom." She said it with a sny pestering, belittling tone.

"Queen Banshera? How did you escape from your imprisonment?" Caoimhin asked in surprise as he looked up to see a sinister smile on her face. He got up from the rocky hideout he was in and looked Banshera in the eyes. "I hope you have good rason for being here but if it's just to kill me then be warned, I won't refrain from making your death a painful one, you foul demon."

"HA" she laughed as she walked slightly to his left, then his right, as he continued to pace. "Silly demon. I'm not here to kill you, Akhom will be doing that soon enough. He hates leaving open ends." Her eyes glowed deep orange as she spoke. "I would show you the vision again, but I'm aware that those images were quite disturbing. i mean, I wouldn't want you to see your relative Hermes be slaughtered a second time. But Akhom will come for you, and he will kill you; however ... I may be able to give you some aid in that." She paused and continued to pace, keeping eye contact with Caoimhin.

"I'm sure you're wondering why i'm trying to help you. Well, its nothin personal. I just owed your namesake." She paused. "Hades and I were close and I owe him. Thus why I'm talking to you."
