OOC: Little late there Pako

'I heard' Legion said from the shadows of the room. 'I heard enough anyways. Sadly, I'm not sure how many of you noticed, but GriffEND is now sided with the rangers. He has now become a spirit for a ranger power coin. And, as I'm sure you four are aware, there is only one person on their team thus far who can accept one at this point and time' he added, walking out of the shadows towards them.

At Angel Bay Beach, Caoimhin was sitting on the soft golden sand staring into the horizon over the sea, listening to the calm waves to soothe his mind. He knew that his death would come soon but the fear of dying was not the thing that bothered him, he was trained to look in the eyes of death when he fought his enemies, he more feared of never being able to complete his own personal quests and find the answers he needed. Caoimhin was waiting quietly for the old man he met here before and hoped he would appear again to ask some questions. He also hoped the old guy wouldn't be so cryptic like the last time.

"WHAT!" Vile screamed in shock "How in the world could he create a power coin? And further more ... create one from one of my creatures." Vile was enraged at this.

Atlas spoke calmly to Legion. "Didn't Akhom once say something to you about having one of kill the other Could it be that he planned on this from the start?" He then turned towards Vile "And you had spoken of how Joseph's spirit, the Liopleurodon was corrupted and mirrored in the monstrous Serpentera." Atlas was silent for a moment "Akhom certainly has a old style sense of irony. He is not only fulfilling his own prophecy, but also pulled a reversal of fortune on you" motioning towards Vile.

"This is no time to admire his forethought Atlas" Vile barked back. "God, I can't believe that imp is in possession of a power coin. So Legion, do you think he will use it himself or give it to Sean?"

As Caoimhin sat on the beach he heard a hauntingly familiar voice. "You know its funny. I knew you would be here, which makes you so predictable. But on the other hand, I'm willing to be you knew I'd come here as well ... which makes me predictable." It was the old man. He was smiling gently. It was hard to know how long he was standing there for. He seemed to move very stealthily, even though there was nothing out of the ordinary about him.

"Ehhhh" he moaned as he sat down next to Caoimhin. "If I'm getting predictable, then I'm losing my touch." He again smiled. His top hat kept the sun out of his eyes. He laid his cane down next to him as he watched the waves.

'I succintly doubt Akhom would use the power of the gryphon himself. He already has the golden ranger powers as he is using Joseph's body. However, the erstwhile Emerald Panther ranger is currently missing his Emerald Panther powers, curtesy of Meteor Knight' Legion explained, nodding to his brother. 'It seems due to the random nature of Akhom, a door closed for Sean but then Akhom opened for him another. Sadly, I don't think I could even attack Sean now. It's against my morals to attack another brother out of malice. Of course, if Meteor Knight could drain the power of the coin, we might be able to salvage GriffEND. Of course, that probably won't happen' Legion added, his tone was, indifferent. 'This is so funny, I just can't help but laugh at Vile's misfortune' Broodwing said snidely.

"I don't think you are predictable, old man. I just waited here for you because this was the only place I've met you at." Caoimhin replied to the old guy and turned to face him. "Besides, I'm glad you are here. I've got to find out who you are because I have a feeling that the timing of your arrival isn't as random as one might think at first. There's one possiblility that you are connected to Akhom in some way which could make you a God...let's say that you are Zeus and you are trying to end Akhom's life once and for all. The other possibility is that you are in fact connected to Deos, either being him in disguise or one of his Deuteros Kamen I heard about from Star. So...which one are you old man?"

MeteroKnight shot Legion a look "No matter how much power the coin bestows upon the user, i can still use it as my own."

Vile smirked "Yes, the power of two Tetrarchs in one, I like it. Alright my faithful knight, first finish your research on this unknown entity, then pursue the rangers."

MeteorKnight nodded and slowly floated backwards into the shadows.

-----------------

The old man chuckled at Caoimhin's ideas. "hahaha well ... you certainly have quite the imagination my young friend. I'm certainly not this Deos fella. Nor one of his Deuteros Common" - he mispronunciation further revealed that he knew nothing of this. "And good lord, I'm certainly not Zeus. No man is a God. And neither am I a cohort of Akhom. I simply haven't had the pleasure. haha" He chuckled a little again. "Although I do admit to having a little something to do with the current state of affairs. But beyond that I can't say much more about myself. So let's change the topic shall we." The gentleman offered

"I'm sure you have various other topic of questioning, besides my identity. Perhaps I can be of more service on those."

"Well, what did you mean by 'having a little something to do with the current state of affairs'?" questioned Caoimhin. "I've not noticed you in the area of our current battles so it's nothing to do with fighting our enemies either up close or from a distance. I don't see you as the type of person to just sit away from it like a spectator unless you are waiting for some moment to appear in the future. That would make you some sort of god or be from the future. So what role do you play in all of this?"

The old man smiled, "Just because someone isn't visible, doesn't mean they aren't there." He took a deep breath of the sea air. "I will admit, Akhom's appearance, defeating GriffEnd, etc, etc ... do have a little something to do with me, but I am far to modest to speak of such things. But I can assure you I am not from the future. I've been though. Not a nice place. But it is not my place of origin. And as far as a God ... maybe you might think of me as such, but i assure you I am no such thing. And besides, I thought I said I didn't want to talk about myself." He smiled again. "Can we talk about someone else? There's so many mysteries of life, why focus on one little old man."

"Because if you were connected to Akhom, you would know of a way of killing him. Joseph isn't coming back so I have the responsiblity of getting rid of that monster, after all, I was suppose to be guarding the blade he was sealed in for the right person and my decision was wrong. All the serious events in my life have never been resolved so far and judging by how Akhom acted not too long ago, I'm probably won't get to. I just keep making the wrong decisions in life and something bad happens" Caoimhin sincerely answered to the old man and turned around to face the ocean again. "It would be nice to know that giving that weapon to Joseph was the right one in the end. He would be stronger and I could help him get Izabel back from Legion. After that happens, I could help the other rangers we have here as well and find those who haven't returned from wherever they went. I only expected to play a supporting role for these rangers to be honest. I did my time helping Zordon and his group when I was part of the main force back then but it seems that things are unfinished for me and I won't be able to do anything after my fateful and inevitable suicidal battle with Akhom."

Nexev sat at his pad, obviously in Loki's secret base, wherever that place may be. Nexev was poundering, he lost his cross and despite never naming it he was rather found of it. Unfortunately he had no way of obtaining a second one. So Nexev needed a weapon powerful enough to stop the rangers, and maybe a bunch of other bad guys, and he didn't exactly have the resources to make on. Fortunatly he DID know where to get one.

Nexev pulled out his cellphone and texted the phone he gave Joe, which would naturally be with Arkhom.

"lol how r u, need wepon to pwn n00b, cao is dick, i will kill if do want. <3 nexev"

Don't judge, Nexev is bad at texting, no one is perfect.

Legion was silent, Vile simply didn't care. One would think he'd do anything to try and get GriffEND back. Just a little candle and then thoughts of powering up Meteor Knight. It actually sickened Legion, who walked back into the shadows and vanished.

Legion stood in fornt of GriffEND's grave again, the dirt shifting to allow for the rest of the remains to enter the urn. 'It's up to me to salvage GriffEND' Legion decided. 'Now do you see what Vile is like? He'll use anything to get his own way, even sacrificing the Tetrarchs to do it. His own children' Broodwing stated. Legion lowered his hood for a moment, upon raising, he had a large creepy grin. It then turned upside down. 'I know' he answered.

The old man looked out into the ocean. "If you regret the decisions of the past, you can never salvage your future. You HAVE to stop looking at the past and thinking it confines your future to one thing. You are free to do whatever you want. Is the fool the one that tries to change his fate, or the one who gives up on being anything else? The future is always changing, in bits and pieces. For example, you all were meant to die in that last battle - but you didn't, thanks to those thought of as enemies." He paused for a moment before he changed the subject "On a bigger subject, you really want Akhom dead don't you? Perhaps you know something I don't know about him. Care to share?" The old man asked.

-------

About an hour or so after Nexev's txt, he got a reply:

"lol Treasure hunt sounds like fun. I'm in. Where u wanna meet? PS: Cao's mine ~A"

"I only know information about his past from what people have told or shown me but from all of that it seems like all he is, is this powerful being that killed anything he wanted and he'd just laugh and joke about it. He managed to kill a god and showed no sign of guilt in his mind. How can I let something like that live any longer? He's just a monster that kills for fun and no creature like that deserves the right to live." Caoimhin informed the old man. "And things I've seen for myself, I'm certain that he is as cunning and deceitful as any other evil being in this universe."

The old man held his back as he stood up. He moaned again as his back cracked. "An evil being that kills for fun huh? Well answer me this. If that truly is what he is ... and Joseph is indeed dead ... why are you still alive?" The old man winked at Caoimhin as he slowly walked away. "I think you should check your sources my friend." The old man continued to walk along the beach slowly. "Come, walk with me, talk with me." he motioned to Caoimhin.

Meanwhile in the demon world, a baby could be heard crying for miles around. A two demons mocked the child. "why won't he shut up" one asked.

"He's been like this for years, what'd you expect. It the same thing day in day out." Another one responded.

"Maybe he misses his mother." A third voice said.

"Please," responded the first. "That cold hearted beast should of died a long time ago. I'm glad she's locked up."

"So am I" responded the second "By the way, welcome to the crew newbie." he said to the third. "You want a go at torturing the brat."

The third one was silent for a moment, "Oh no ... he's not the one I'm going to torture." Just then two tentacles shot out and grabbed the two demons and dragged them close. The both trembled in fear as they seemed to be dragged into its body.

The figure walked closer into the light and picked up the child and cradled, "Aww, stop crying little one. Don't worry Impus ... mommy is here."

There was a new disturbance in the realm of possibility. Legion could feel something changing, a new and malevolent possibility was forming in another world, that's not usually a good thing. He faded away to deal with it.

It was the realm of demons, well, of course it was. Anything troubling and naturally a demon would be responsible. Look at Akhom for god's sake. Oddly enough, there was crying, infantile crying. 'I didn't know those things could even breed' he commented and followed the noise. Obviously the Demon Rot made a good trail, leading Legion straight to the Queen. 'Queen Bansheera!' Broodwing cried.

Caoimhin stood up and followed the old man. "He hasn't killed me yet because he didn't know who I was till recently and I did beat him in Tartarus when he had his guard down. I may not be as strong as him but I've had enough battle experience to find a way of defeating my opponents eventually." Caoimhin answered back. "And how exactly would you know if the kid is still alive somewhere in side that body anyway?"

"Akhom's interactions with Sean, Brandon, Nexev, and Legion all show him having knowledge of things outside of his own existence, but not outside Joe's. Thus he must have Joe's memories as well. Akhom is not an idiot. Between Joe's memories, and the fact that you could open portals to Tartarus as you will, he already knows your lineage from Hades. And yet ... he has refraimed from killing you. Even despite all the attempts you've tried on his life."

The old man paused "I know this due to my presence. Even if i wasn't in the vicinity, i can still see the truth behind the truth. Remember, there is always more than one side to a story. It seems as though you only got one side of it. Might I inquire into your source material?" The man asked courteously.

---------------------

Queen Banshera was altered to the new presence. "It seems we have a visitor." she tasted the air "you don't smell like a demon. who are you?" she inquired, or rather ... demanded. she still held the infant in one of her arms.

"The whole event of him being sealed into that sword was from the visions I got from Queen Bansheera but I do believe it has to be true somehow with the way Akhom acts towards hearing of Hades' name and killing Hermes would help anger Hades. The rest are from books and Diabolico who is our ally so he has no reason to lie to us all." answered Caoimhin as he kept walking with the old man. "And if you are so sure that Joseph is inside that body and it's not just his memories being stolen by Akhom then how can I help him take control of his body again?"

'My name is Legion my dear lady, and if, I may ask' he began, these feelings were new to him. 'What on earth is an angel like you doing in a hell like this?' he inquired pleasantly. 'That has got to be...my dear boy, you have left me speechless you know? You not only used a very corny pick-up line that could only work here, but you said it to Queen Banshera herself, the queen of the demons and the Netherworld. I'm not sure if I'm proud or afraid at this moment' Broodwing stated.

The old man chuckled. "My dear boy, that old hag showed you. haha Well let me ask you ... did she show you everything? Did you see all, or was the vision fractured up? Did you hear, or merely see? For boy, anything can be distorted - and she's had eons to perfect her ways - that shrew of a hag she is. And as far as young Joseph ..." he paused as if he sensed something, but then he returned his attention to Caoimhin. "As far as Joseph and Akhom, maybe you're thinking about it the wrong way. Maybe its not a matter of who controls the body, but maybe Joseph has been there all along. Take a coin, each side is distinct from the other, and yet similar and connected."

This coin analogy was similar to what Zedren had hypothesized a while back, but it still made little sense. "I apologize, that's an old way of thinking for such modern times. I guess you'd be more able to understand this if you knew all of Akhom's story. You see ..." he trailed off a second and turned his attention elsewhere. He then looked back at Caoimhin with a harsh look on his face. "RUN"

"Don't ask questions, don't argue with this. Just run, or hide. Quickly." The old man pointed to a cropping of rocks near one of the pathways away from the beach. "Go there. You can hide and then make a retreat. Again, DON'T argue this. I promise to answer all your questions, but if you're here for this I can't guarantee yours or my survival. So quickly ... move. And don't come out, no matter what happens." He hurried Caoimhin along. His usually calm face was in a slight panic, but was it more for worry of himself or for Caoimhin.

-------

Queen Banshera looked over Legion. "Well Legion, you certainly are a charmer" - she fell for the pick up line. I guess being tortured in demon world makes one lonely. "I'm stuck in this hell of a hell thanks to the blasted Lightspeed Rangers, and these lesser demons rising up. But now I am free. And as much as i intend to destroy those Rangers, I have 2 targets i have to take care of first - my first and my most recent. This descendant of Hades visited me and left me chained, but it was due to him slicing my arm off that i was able to free myself, so I'll thank him - but of course with a quick death. The other is that blasted excuse for a demon named Akhom."

She cradled the baby Impus in her arms "You remember him don't you baby. Yes you do, yes you do."

Caoimhin quickly decided it was best not to question the old man, seeing as he seemed quite wise and he could see the panic in his eyes. Caoimhin rushed over to the cropping of rocks he was instructed to hide in and kept himself low on the ground. "Using the coin to explain Joseph's condition seemed very familiar to what Zordon said once a long time ago. Never got it then, finding it hard to understand it now. Why is that old guy so spooked anyway? What could catch his attention and make him worry about his life like that?"

The old man stood in the same spot. He saw that Caoimhin had run to the hiding spot like he had hoped. The man seemed perfectly calm now. He took out his monacle and placed it on his eye. He waited for a minute or two. He then took out a pocket watch and watched it.

Suddenly, there was then a faint metallic buzzing sound. The old man looked up from his watch and remarked "Right on time"

There was a ripple coming from the water. a lump appeared on the surface as it got closer to shore. Suddenly, a head emerged, followed by a body, and long spindly hands. It legs seemed to hover over the ground on two points. The cold, imposing figure of MeteorKnight had appeared. "So, you are the anomaly I've been detecting. You didn't run this time."

The old man gave the machine a courteous smile "Figured it'd be more fun if you knew what you are chasing."

MeteorKnight didn't give any sign of a smile, but then again, he didn't have a mouth. He just stared at the old man. "I've been charged with just learning about you, and then handing you over to my brother Legion."

The old man smiled again, "So you're a scout huh? I thought you were supposed to be the cold calculating killer .... among other things." He smiled again.

"You're flattery is appreciated but it will serve you nothing. Once i learn what i need, I will either indeed hand you to my brother, or if you are not what you are made out to be ... then i will finish you here." MeteorKnight said in a mono tone.

The man just chuckled again "Aww, now you've gone and hurt my feelings. You're looking for someone else huh."

MeteorKnight remained silent. "You are stalling for something aren't you?" MeteorKnight question

The old man just looked at him.

Caoimhin stayed behind the rocks, only raising his head up enough to see what was going on. "Great, another Tetrarch." he groaned and remained out of sight. "I knew there was something about the guy that didn't seem right but am I really going to find the answers just staying in this spot? And what if...erm...MeteorKnight, that sounds about right, attacks him? Should I jump in and save him or take the old man's advice and be hidden from that thing till the end if he really can kill me so easily?"

'I see' he commented. 'I'm not one for flattery, but feelings are still new to me. You are quite attractive after all, any demonic creature would enjoy your company' he added. He waited a few seconds, then decided. 'I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself properly. My name is Legion Vile, son of Master Vile and the leader of his Tetrarchs. He is currently on a course for revenge against the rangers, Loki, Loki's ranger Nexev, Deos, Akhom and until a short while ago Gargantia, who has been dealt with. I think he'd be very interested in what plans you have, if you are willing of course' he said smoothly, saying the Akhom part a little more loudly than the others. He took a few steps forward to see Impus. He looked like a cross between a furby and something normally found in caves.

Between the flattery and the name dropping, Queen Banshera was interested. "Oh, Master Vile, I've heard of him. Seem like he has a new crew. And if akhom and the rangers are your enemy, I'll be glad to join." She then shivered a bit. "Loki, that pain is still around? Uh, I'll join you all with pleasure. But i require a small fee."

She then presented the baby Impus. "Adorable i know, but i want him back to his fighting form. Can you arrange that? If so, I'll be sure to help Vile with any monster creations he may need."

----------

MeteorKnight and the old man stared each other down.

"Why don't you attack?" MeteorKnight inquired. "I know full well you're capable of."

The old man smirked "Please, that would play right into your hands. If I don't fight you, you can't absorb my energy."

"Well then, how can you expect to beat me?" MeteorKnight responded, trying to reason with the logic.

The old man laughed. "I'm not going to be the one to defeat you. Only a fool would fight you one on one. All I'm doing is giving you a taste of who you're dealing with"
