"You really are dumb Legion...you're letting her decide everything for you and yet you could have killed three birds with one stone. Have you forgotten that you could have gain the golden morpher after killing the two of them and could have given Vile that item. Maybe after getting that done, you could have ended you killing four birds with one stone. Right, GriffEnd?" Caoimhin informed Legion while looking at GriffEnd, hopefully hitting a nerve. "I haven't forgotten about you GriffEnd. I'm just waiting for something."

Legion chuckled again. 'I can see every future possibility Caoimhin, I can plan ahead quite well. What seems like stupidity now may become genius later. I have my plans in place already for Akhom and the girl. Now you should get yours in place. You won't defeat us by spontanaiety ya know?' Legion stated, but then remembered somehthing. 'Also, I agree with Akhom, you would do well to avoid messing around with blood magic and pacts, they can only lead to hurt when it's a frail shell like your own' he added and vanished.

"I don't mind getting more frail, it's old age and lack of fighting for a while that's made me like this. Not that you would understand, you're still a baby compared to me, age wise. I'm interested in knowing what you have forseen though. You going to be the one to kill me or something?...or will I kill myself trying to use blood magic?" Caoimhin smiled back at Legion, enjoying this conversation as he's understanding more about the whole situation around him. "I think I'm going to keep using blood magic seeing as I'm against a lot of overpowered characters right now. There's not many of us who aren't like that anyway." Caoimhin brought out a dagger from his left sleeve and quickly cut across the healing wound on his right hand, channeling the blood out of the cut and control it to form a small sword. "Ready to fight now, GriffEnd?"

GriffEnd swung his tail around in an upward crescent motion. It knocked the small newly formed blade out of his hand and put him slightly off balance. GiffEnd then grabbed Caoimhin by the back of the neck and slammed him to the ground. "All you rangers together couldn't stop me. What makes you think only one of you can?" He then sat poised with his tail above Caoimhin's head, ready to swing it down like a guillotine. "This will end it!"

Just then a voice was heard. "No, but hopefully this will." GriffEnd was then smacked in the head by a long staff. GriffEnd was thrown about 15 feet to the side but immediately sprung back up. Sean then landed in front of Caoimhin. "Guess it didn't ... but i still liked my idea better than yours."

GriffEnd looked at the new combatant. "Well, now there's one and a half rangers." Trying to insult Sean.

Sean gave him a blank look "Funny, but then that means you were owned by a 'half ranger'."

GriffEnd got angry at this, but Sean just smiled and thought to himself. 'Looks like some of Akhom's sarcasm rubbed off on me.' Sean looked over his soulder "You okay Cao?"

"I've felt better" Cao groaned as he stood back up, leaving a small puddle of blood on the floor. "I guess I should have expected that from GriffEnd, shouldn't keep my guard down like that. Thanks for that assistance, Sean." Caoimhin raised his right hand up and the blood that gathered on the ground risen up to his hand and formed a small sword again. "You think that blood magic is the wrong thing to use but what you don't understand is that Akhom has been using it the wrong way. He forces all the blood out of his body while trying to keep healing himself to create more blood for his body. With a lack of healing magic at my disposal, I have figured a way out of becoming weak by continuing the circulatory flow of the blood even outside of my body, letting the blood flow into in body again while more blood seeps out of my wound, making a continuous motion of my circulatory system." Caoimhin ran at GriffEnd and slashed his blade down at him. (Roll: 15)

"Interesting. But I don't need guarding." With that he drew a sword, a spectacular golden sword. The handle had the head of a lion, and it was a long, broad blade. "I'm not quite sure where you stand in terms of allegiance, but I don't take chances." He aimed the blade at Akhom. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have places I need to be." He kept the blade centered towards him, but was walking away. Was he keeping it up because he knew he would retaliate, or maybe he wasn't taking chance? Who knows.

Akhom rolled his eyes. "Wow, please don't tell me the great Fenrir is frightened. After all i heard bout you from Odin." Akhom then vanished. There was then a tap at Dom's shoulder, "And I certainly don't remember Dominic being so wary either" He was smiling. Just then Akhom sensed something. He then glanced towards the city, towards where the mall was. "Magic! Weak ... but still." he said to himself.

He then looked back at Dom, "Look if you don't trust me or care not to get involved so be it. But let's please wrap things up here. You've never been one to hold back an opinion ... don't start now. Let me just know where I stand." Akhom hoped that Dom would notice that he was speaking as Joe, and had two compatible souls within him. But he couldn't tell him. Only one person could get the message, and that was Izabel. He had to hope that Dom would look into his soul ... like he did when Joe had devised that plan to 'fake-betray' the rangers to lure out Gargantia.

GriffEnd raised his claw and slashed the newly formed blade in half - easily, too easily. He then readied for a second attack, but Sean grabbed him by the tail. GriffEnd didn't like this and immediately flew up in the air and slammed Sean into the ceiling. He let go and fell towards the ground. As he fell he grabbed a hold of one of the large pieces of ceiling that had fallen and used it to spring himself sideways and then roll along the ground - thus lessening the damage.

He looked up at GriffEnd who had just landed a few feet away with a calm demeanor. "Thank God I still got the reflexes of a cat" Sean sighed under his breath.

Brandon arrived at the area with GriffEND and noticed Caoimhin and Sean have already arrived there. He was already suited for combat and ready to strike. He took some time to look around. There was some lighting fixtures there, but nothing he could use. If he thought right, he could use his control of speed over GriffEND's one-track speed. It was then that he sped into the battlefield and got to the monster just as Caoinhim prepared his attack. "Of all the times of a monster attack, I'm glad that its GriffEND. I got a little score to settle." he stated as he threw a punch to GriffEND, attempting to assist Caoinhim. (roll: 8 )

Caoimhin dived out of the way of the falling debris and rolled back on to his feet"Not quite managed to solidify my blood to act as a weapon...still need more practice with this." he said to himself as his blood seeped from the debris and formed back to a sword. "GriffEnd is getting to confident in his abilities and that is going to be his downfall." Caoimhin summoned his falcata in his right hand then used the blood magic to conceal it from GriffEnd's sight with his own blood. He chased after GriffEnd and went for a second strike at the creature hoping he'd attack with his claws again to recieve a nasty surprise.

GriffEnd immediately focused on Brandon "You!!! I remember you." GriffEnd then turned towards him had slammed him with his elbow. He seemed to have left himself open to Caoimhin's attack, but he swung his tail around in a blind attempt to collide with Caoimhin.

While Akhom was still awaiting Dom's response, he got a bored look on his face and snapped his fingers. A cell phone of sorts appeared in his right hand. "While you decide, excuse me a second." Akhom then quickly typed a msg

'Angel Bay mall. Meet you there.'

He then pressed send to the unknown recipient. The phone disappeared and he went back to waiting.

Caoimhin parried the tail with his sword and followed with a counter-attack, kicking GriffEnd in the face and quickly jumping away from GriffEnd. "I wish you would have just accepted my offer. I just needed some help with Akhom." Caoimhin said under his breath as his blood seeped back in his body, exposing his falcata before he threw his weapon like a javelin at GriffEnd. "Still...maybe Legion might reconsider it at some point in the near future."

After Brandon was hit, he quickly recovered from the attack, sliding onto the ground. He heard Caoimhin's comment as soon as he got up. "As much as Vile and in theory, the Tetarchs hate Ahkom, they would rather have his blood be spilled by them. We cannot let them do that however." he said as he raised his arm and fired a flurry of spines at GriffEND. He then ran up to the spines and attempted to do his rather old punch coming from nowhere trick. (Roll: 11, 8)

The kick to the face blurred GriffEnds vision for the moment and made him angry. He sidestepped and grabbed Caoimhin's falcatta out of the air as if it was nothing. He then took a step towards Caoimhin "you're going to pay for that you miserable slime." He said while pointing at the slight scratch mark on his face mask.

All of a sudden the flurry of Brandon's spines collided with GriffEnd. GriffEnd stood rigid from the shock of the spines and dropped Caoimhin's falcata where he stood. He tried to let out an intense scream of pain, but Brandon was too fast. He followed right behind his spines and slammed GriffEnd in the face with his fist. Between the initial shock of the spines throwing him off guard, as well as the power of Brandon's added speed, GriffEnd flew back like a rag doll and slammed into one of the columns and hit the ground.

(Roll: 17, 1, _ since i got a critical 1 GriffEnd got no retaliation for Brandon's second attack :) )

Caoimhin decided to make use of the oppportunity that was available to them, morphing to his ranger form as he ran at GriffEnd. He threw four fireballs at GriffEnd to hold him back so he had no chance to counter-attack him (Roll: 7, 10, 10 and 11). The metal rings around his arms expanded a little and became loose on his armour as Caoimhin was a few feet away from GriffEnd and lunged at him with both fists with as much strength as Caoimhin could muster, the metal rings shifting along his arms to his fists, creating a strong percussion force exploding from it (Roll: 20). The resulting power of the punches and the added percussion force had smashed GriffEnd through the column and sent him crashing into a wall further away. "Quick enemies tend to lack in something, strength or defense, you seem strong enough to dismiss the first one so let's see if it's the latter you lack in."

The pile of rubble was silent for a few moments. No one moved. After a moment or so Sean drew his staff and approached slowly. He stood before the pile of rubble and began to poke it with his staff. "I doubt this is over so easily." Just then something shot out of the rubble and wrapped around Sean's leg and pulled him in. The rubble exploded and GriffEnd emerged, his feathers singed from the percussive attack.

"That's it. I'm tired of this. If any of you move, your friend dies." GriffEnd shouted with his claws over Sean's throat. He was hanging upside down from GriffEnd's tail.

----------

Meanwhile, back at the beach Akhom's hip vibrated. He got a curious shocked look on his face. "Excuse me a sec." He again made his phone appear. He had gotten a reply to his txt

Kitty's on his last life. I believe the window is closing

Akhom's head suddenly snapped to the right. He got a determined look on his face. He then spoke to Dom without turning his head. "Look, we'll be at the mall if you want to come. Aside from that, hope you enjoyed your flight and save me some of those roasted peanuts when you go on your next trip." With that Akhom then disappeared in the blink of an eye."

-----------

Back at the mall, GriffEnd still stood with his hostage. He looked at all the rangers remaining motionless. "Good, good. No one do anything stupid."

Just then an image blurred into existence over GriffEnd's head. It quickly collided with GriffEnd and drove him straight into the ground. GriffEnd's tail released Sean and he lept free. He seemed confused as to what just happened. Suddenly someone lept out of the pit of debris and quickly landed in front of Sean. It was Akhom. He looked at the pile of rubble and said "See, we haven't met yet, but I'm all about doing something stupid." Akhom smiled.

Legion was sitting from his own perch, observing the battle closely. 'This is proving quite the intersting fight, and I know you are amused by it as well Atlas' he said aloud, despite where he was. 'Maybe I should go help GriffEND' he considered, but it was his brother's fight, and he was more than a match for the rangers. 'Nah, I'll leave him be, if he wants help he'll ask for it' he said rather loudly, as if determined for GriffEND to hear.

The steel girder near Legion morphed into a humanoid form. The mighty figure of Atlas emerged from the iron and walk unwaveringly across the railing towards Legion and took a seat next to him. "Your senses are impressive brother" Atlas admitted in an amused manner. He then looked at the rubble below, "Indeed, it seems our little brother might have his hands full on this."

The rubble shook and GriffEnd again emerged. He looked up at his two brothers. "Stay out of this, or I'll destroy you two after i finish them of" referring to the rangers. He then looked at Akhom with a curious gaze. GriffEnd then laughed annoyingly and looked at Caoimhin "He's the one you said is faster than me. He's the one you wanted me to kill." He then laughed some more.

Akhom then shot Caoimhin a glance. "Awww, you were talking about me? How cute, I didn't know you cared." He gave a friendly smirk. He then looked up and saw Legion sitting with someone he didn't immediately recognize. 'So that's Atlas' he though. 'Interesting'. He then focused on Legion. "Smokey!!!!!!!!" Akhom shouted as he started waving his arms like an adoring fan.

"You can't have much left in you now GriffEnd, give up now or die fighting recklessly." Caoimhin warned GriffEnd as he stared at him. Caoimhin was feeling nervous and angry at the same time. With GriffEnd opening his big beak and telling Akhom that he wanted GriffEnd help kill him, he knows that Akhom will be on his guard and he'll have no chance of tricking Akhom with anything if he could persuade Legion to help him somehow. "You gonna leave now, GriffEnd, and save yourself for another battle?"

Legion covered his face in shame, Akhom was always like this. 'Focus on GriffEND, not me' he shouted, it could have been a mixture of annoyance and embarassment, it could have been something else. He sat down again and sighed. 'It;s not my senses Atlas, but my knowledge. I know you've been keeping a constant eye on the Hades Ranger. And, I'm pretty sure Vile knows as well, or at least has an inkling. But, far be it from me to intrude on your plans'.

Atlas laughed a bit. "What, you don't like having a groupie. hahaha" His laugh bellowed. "Anyway, it's true. The Hades ranger has potential. An amazing potential, but he must stop trying to find his destiny and let his destiny find him." He paused for a second, "but that's not the only reason I'm here - or well, staying to watch." He waited again. "I'm quite curious as to what Akhom is capable of. I've never actually seen him in action, but I've heard tales. And I certainly know his history. And considering that history, I am quite curious as to what would happen should he realize that Caoimhin power is actually descended from that of Hades." Atlas shook his head, "Considering his history, he'd be quite pissed. Zeus was. But I digress. Care to place a little wager on this match." Atlas held out his hand and an ancient coin appeared in it. "This was the original currency of my city, Atlantis. One of a kind. A forgotten heirloom of history. Care to use this as a wager on this fight. You pick what we bet on."

Back down below, Akhom smiled at Legion's words ... and his embarrassed look. "You got it." He exclaimed and gave a thumbs up. He then turned to face GriffEnd, who was fuming from Caoimhin's latest remark.

"Silence you slug!" GriffEnd shouted at Caoimhin. "I'll destroy you all ... I swear it ... I SWEAR!!!!!" As he screamed this a huge gust of wind bellowed from his wings. It was soo strong it started to blast the rangers back. (roll: 15 to beat)

Akhom revealed his claw like fingers and dug into the ground near him. His legs flailed in the wind. "I think he has quite enough energy left!" Akhom shouted. (roll:20)

Sean drew his lance and extended it as he flew back. Both ends caught on two adjacent pillars, thus making him look like a man on a high-wire (but sideways) (roll: 16)

'I don't feel much like betting' Legion yawned. 'Nor do I have anything that could be bet; you keep your trinket and your memories, they're of no use to me' he added before getting a quick vision. 'So, it's happening here' he added and vanished.

He reappered in Izabel's room, man, doesn't this guy ever knock. 'There is some quality entertainment going on in the mall' he commented as the mirror started up. It was blurry, but then focused on the fight at the mall. 'Come and watch' he offered.

Long ago there was a hero, strong in body and soul. Alongside his brethren, was it not their hands that shaped the worlds? Did not he use his sickle and hammer to build the very basis of the golden cities of Valhalla, did the ink in his pen not form the great colossus that guarded the city of Atlantis, did he not turn the ink into steel? He did these things and he did more. For he was Nexev of the Heights, he was the top and from his vantage point he saw the world in all it's beauty and complexity.

Yet then one day, the world crumbled, not by cruelty wanton nor betrayal, the villains merely became better heroes then he was. The Rangers fell, on by one, the blood that pooled arond them became the resevoir of hope that the former demons used to make the cities grow under them.

They all fell, but Nexev fell the farthest. He may have kept his life, but he lost his soul. Gone were the sickle and hammer, gone was the light he brought down from heaven themselves. Sacrifices to keep the demons in line, or was it just to keep him alive?

But enough thinking, thinking time was over. Nexev knew not how long he spent staring at the Grand Canyon, where it all began, reflecting on his crimes.

But reflecting time was over.

Nexev heard the phone ring, but he didn't even need to read it, he was not stupid, he knew exactly what was going on. Somebody was attacking the mall, always the mall.

Nexev knew what to do. No time to be the mirror, time only to just be who he was.

Nexev sunk into the ground emerging inside the mall. Wordlessly took in the surrondings.

It was windy, that was fine, he lived in the mountains, he lived with wind.

Two paths, set before him, two sides to pick, so many bodies to see drop to the floor.

But Nexev knew who he wanted to drop, he knew who he was.

He was the Fallen Ranger, a traitor, a mockery of the ranger suit he once wore.

Nexev impaled the earth with his cross, a divine white light started to emerge from the cross.

But he was a RANGER all the same, the defender of truth, justice, and all that other fake stuff.

Nexev turned to GriffEnd, not a single word spoken, no recognition given.

Why would Nexev bother to remenber a face that he will render dead in a few minutes?

White energy crackled at Nexev's fingertips, burning them with their holiness. Nexev pointed at Griffend and white lightening flung from his fingertips *roll 19*

"Bang."

GriffEnd was completely taken by surprise by this new combatant. He erupted in a white flame of sorts as he stumbled back. He staggered a few feet back and as the flames slowly dissipated. His feathers were completely singed. The area smelled like a burnt feathers and skin.

GriffEnd grew angrier. He looked at Nexev "Vile didn't tell me to hunt you down. But i remember you from last time." In the blink of an eye, GriffEnd was gone. Akhom could feel a rush of air go past him. 'He's going to attack Nexev' he thought, but before he could act, he felt himself being pulled along with it, and a tight compression against his ribs. It was too fast. Before he knew it GriffEnd had slammed into Nexev and pinned him to the wall with his talons. A fraction of a mili-second later, Akhom was slammed higher up into the same wall, but upside down. He could now get a clear view of what happened. As GriffEnd rushed by, he had wrapped his tail around Akhom's ribs. Akhom had a kind of eureka look on his face. He then turned his head sideways to look at Nexev, "Glad you could make it" he smiled.

GriffEnd then stuck his head in between both of theirs. "This fight is far from over, in fact I'm just catching my second wind. qwaqwaqwa" he laughed

Akhom had an unimpressed look on his face "bad pun" he said.

GriffEnd smirked and then slammed them both into the ground.

(roll: 27, 18)

Meanwhile, when Legion entered Iza's room, she was sitting on the bed bouncing a ball against the wall. Auric sat in the corner reading a book. It was interesting where they kept getting these supplies. Both sof their interests perked up as the mirror showed the fight. "I feel like I've seen this fight before." Izabel admitted. "GriffEnd again. The mall again. Seriously, what is it about that place." She had a sarcastic joking tone to her voice.

Auric chuckled. "Akhom should surely make this an interesting bout. And it seems one of Loki's warriors have joined the fray."

'I dunno, the mall is a very popular site for attacks, you know, innocent humans to attack in order to draw out the rangers. If you know a better place to attack do tell' he replied. 'GriffEND is giving it his all. What a pity, since his darkness is coming soon. Something is messing with the possibilities here, but there is a chance GriffEND will, hmmm, I'd best continue to keep an eye on him. I know for his sake I won't interfere'.

Nexev felt his body hit the floor. It didn't hurt, he fought thousands of monsters, pain didn't hurt anymore.

No wait, that sounds stupid.

Darn it.

Nexev's lips twisted to a grin. He grabbed the very claw he was slammed with and coursed the holy energy in his fingertips directly into Griffend (18).

Nexev turned to Arkhom "So.... did I miss anything fun while I was gone? I hope not, it was boring being by myself."

Nexev's cross continued to glow ominously, well not ominously since it was glowing in a annoyingly pure way.

But still.
