"Yes Caoimhin," Zedren responded "I believe it is time for that meeting to begin."

Zedren then heard Sean's idea. "Yes, brilliant Sean. Using our environment certainly sounds like a good idea. It's a start. What other ideas do we have? What do we know about these Tetrarchs individually so far?"

Meanwhile back in Vile's lair, "A very crafty idea. But sadly .... 1) I've already tried that tactic before and well ... and now Joseph is wise to that option. 2) because he know we could try that .... he's prepared. 3) worst of all ... that little wench is in possession of the Key of Auric. And it shields its possessor from any harm."

Legion looked into vile's eyes, his own masked by his hood. 'Do you doubt my powers my lord? I understand that the girl would be untouchable by almost anyone, but maybe, destiny could be swayed into the favourable for us. I know I have a limited times for the use, but this sort of opportunity may not rise again my lord. They are still shell-shocked by our overwhelming power, I could easily infiltrate the base and obtain her, and, the key of Auric as well. It would be useful to have him on our side' Legion stated, mentally concerned about how he knew so much about Auric suddenly, but that was for later. 'Besides, I don't need to harm her in order for her to come with me. Funny how the situation of kidnapping can be played both ways, Joe could be a bargaining chip for her to come with me. Then I can use her as a bargaining chip for their assistance in locating Deos'.

Vile stared back at Legion, "And I'm telling you don't underestimate Auric. Fate can change, but it would warp around the girl. Say for instance you made no one know who i was, well ... no one would, except her. Now Auric can be cowardly sometimes, but he'll still protect the weak. I'm not saying you can't, I'm just saying don't waste your power on such an attempt."

Vile's look became more calm. "But you do raise a good point my friend. Bargaining chips are interchangeable. Perhaps we can use young Joseph as our bargaining chip. But still ... first things first. How would a ranger aid us in finding Deos? This little part eludes me."

OOC: Sorry about the repeated post, the servers went all funny on me -_-'

'Because they have technology we do not; I am absolutely certain that the ancient ranger would be forced to assist them using what means he can as well. Otherwise, I doubt the golden ranger would ever forgive him. As you know, the rangers utilize technology to locate their enemies, we can use that to our advantage without the need to create our own. Thus, I could resume my search whilst having the rangers expend some of their efforts in locating Deos as well. Their forcefully divided attention can leave them at the mercy of GriffEND when their usefulness has expired. As for Auric and his protective nature, he cannot save someone from themselves; should he do so, he would kill her; leaving the gold ranger heart broken and at out mercy' Legion explained carefully. 'As for forgetting you, that's impossible, almost. I cannot change what has already occured in the past, only affect the fate of the future. I could have them end up in a circumstance that would cause them to lose their memory by amnesia, but the long term effect would be impossible'.

Vile pondered for a moment. "Alright my friend. You've convinced me. We shall implement this strategy. But what if we went with your other way. What if we were to capture the Gold Ranger? We could always do a switch, and use him to get his girl. But having the leader captured would be a nice touch. Why divide a certain rangers attention when we can just remove him from the situation all together. All in all kidnapping sounds good, but let's first be clear on which is going to be the bargaining chip."

Meanwhile back at the Ranger Base, Zedren brought up pictures and data on each Tetrarch. "This is what we've been able to compile thus far.

Griffend, so called Master of Mobility. Able to reach extreme speeds and is almost impossible to catch.

MeteorKnight, apparently invulnerable. And possibly with the ability to absorb energy as well. But more research will have to be done to confirm this.

Atlas, nothing out of the ordinary, unless you consider immense strength and defense. We've basically have seen none of his powers yet.

And finally Legion. Seems he can control fate itself as well as the shadows. The extent to which he can do this is still unknown."

Joseph then spoke up, "Don't forget MeteorKnight was saying something about using his second power on us. Would it be safe to assume all of them have 2 main powers."

"That is certainly something we should watch out for. Legion's shown his 2 in a sense, GriffEnd 1, MeteorKnight 1, and Atlas none. Unless his abilities can as 1. Then again, he is the only one that wasn't truly created by Vile, just changed. So perhaps the same rule doesn't apply to him." Zedren responded.

"There is still one thing that bothers me about our fight" Caoimhin spoke as he looked over to Star. "How come in this whole fight Star couldn't thing up of a strategy to defeat them all? She is from the future so i would have expected her to know how the battles were won or lost in some sort of archives in her timeline. Does this mean something has changed the natural flow of time even more? Could Legion have been the source of it or was it some other creature we may have not crossed paths with yet?"

Caoimhin paused for a couple of seconds. "I think we should proceed this battle with the Tetrarchs with even more caution if even Star can't use her knowledge from the future to help us and pray nothing else is playing a part in all of this because we most probably will not survive the war against Tetrarchs and something or equal or greater power."

Legion bowed carefully. 'Thank you for considering my lord, but Joseph will be the bargaining chip. The Tetrarchs will be distracted with their current duties of dealing with your enemies; thus I will be the only Tetrarch still within the castle. However, I will be distracted in my duties of searching for Deos. Having a powerful ranger in our thrall would not work, he could easily escape and destroy you' Legion declared. 'The girl however, will be much easier to imprison. Even with Auric, if we are not doing harm to her and keeping her well in a room, Auric will not be able to lift a finger. And, should you allow it, I could obtain information from her about the rangers as well'.

Vile listened carefully to this advice. Atlas and MeteorKnight had both left to fulfill their duties in hunting down Loki and Gargantia. And with him all out of Strikers, he would be defenseless. Joseph had been tricky in the past, specially the time he pretended to turn evil to thwart Gargantia. Vile would be utterly defenseless. "You're are very wise my friend. I wonder who you got that from" Vile chuckled meaning the reference to be himself.

"You shall obtain the young girl. And learn what you can from her. But do not harm her. Auric, as you said, wouldn't be able to interfere as long as you are kind and polite. Can you pretend to be that? If so, then go with my blessing. She might even divulge some secrets as well. Most excellent. I love this idea." Vile was positively joyous. The smile on his face was unmistakable.

Legion bowed once more, actually experiencing some form of delight from this. 'Thank you my lord, I have of course learned from the best' he declared. 'Thank you' the voice replied. Legion ignored it however. 'I will make haste at once to capture the the targets. However, I will need to make this swift and silent. Infiltrating the base will be easy, but I will need their locations as soon as possible. I could divine it, but there would be too much interference with all the possibilities of where they could be'.

"I'm sure the opportunity will present itself. Right about now they are probably thinking up some strategy. We should wait a little bit, at least until it calms down. Or shall i have GriffEnd run another interference? His second ability could come quite in handy. Don't you think?" Vile smirked menacingly

Legion thought about sending GriffEND, but a better idea came to mind. 'Even if the are grouped together, I have a better idea in mind. A meeting room would be too small, so why not force them out? Their zords, would have security, but nothing I could get through. I'm sure the screams of the gold one's zord would send him running quite quickly to aid it. Then I would spring my trap on him' he counterpointed.

"Excellent!" Vile exclaimed. "If he sees you near his zord, he'll run right out and try to stop you. He'd be afraid you would erase it like you caused the others to be erased. Perfect. Truly perfect. Go my worthy envoy ... and let's get this masterpiece underway."

Meanwhile back at the base, Star shrugged to Caoimhin's question. "I'm not quite sure." She seemed worried as if her knowledge of what was to come was painful, or maybe ... it was her lack of knowledge.

Legion bowed again as his form rippled and scattered into shadows, hurtling straight towards the base.

They reformed in the zord hanger, Legion straightened himself out to make sure everything was in place. He looked around, truly seeing how massive the zords truly are. 'Amazing marvels of technology' he commented as he glided over to the liopleurodon zord. He drew out a black sickle in his right hand and cut it straight across the fin he was next too, cutting through the golden metal and severing wires underneath. 'Run little rabbit' he whispered. As he aimed higher and unleashed a black wave that cut deeply into the side.

Just then a blood curdling sound was heard again in the base. It was like the ones they heard before. The video monitors immediately turned on and they showed the zord hangar. The camera panned through the various locations in the massive habitat. Just then it showed the Lio zord near the surface. It had been there earlier with the other zords to mourn its fallen friends, but something was wrong. It was thrashing about and about ready to dive back underwater. Amongst the splashing a lone figure appeared. It was Legion.

"Oh My God" Zedren exclaimed "How'd he get in?"

"And he's attacking Lio. Not on my watch." Joe exclaimed before bolting out the door towards the zord habitat. As he ran he shouted. "Omega Force. Gold Ranger Power." He morphed and continued on.

The wounded Lio zord retreated back under the water into the immensely deep lake that lead out into the ocean near Angel Bay. There it would heal its wounds.

Watching with relish as the zord retreated into the lake, Legion closed his eyes and saw what was to come. 'So, the prey is near, the trap is set. Time to begin' he said. He may have been smiling as he exploded into shadows, which scattered about the hanger, hiding in the immense shadows of the zords, waiting expectantly. The trap had been set, now, the hunter would now begin to wait for his prey.

"Joe wait!" cried Star as she morphed after him him. "It could be a trap!" It was true, Star had no knowledge of the Tetrarchs... because the files that Time Force kept in the apocaylptic future were all but destroyed. Ignoring his though, Star rushed towards the Zord's habitat chamber, catching up with Joe in front of the open door.

"LISTEN! Legion is the most dangerous of the four. You can't just rush in and attack him without knwoing what he's after."

"Look Star. Are we just supposed to sit around and think up a plan while he's in there with our zords. What if he erases them or something. We're done for." Joe tried to explain, but he knew Star was right. But they had no choice. They had to go in. Perhaps Joe was still upset about what Legion did to his friends and wanted a shot at him as well. GriffEnd was too fast, MeteorKnight too strong. And he still couldn't bring himself to fight Atlas. So fighting Legion sounded like the best idea.

The shadows reformed and Legion waited for Joseph. 'Perhaps he'll need some more incentive, I can abuse my power infinitely when I am not the one doing it. It won't happen, but he won't know that' Legion said as the shadows at his waist detached and slithered off to find Joseph.

The creeping shadows located him, they both rose into the air to create a viewing portal of Legion, supposedly two-way. Floating before him was a Thread of Fate, it was glowing with a golden light. 'Say farewell to your beloved zord' the Legion in the portal stated, raising a black sickle and cutting the thread. A horrible cry echoed out of the portal and reverbrated through the hallway. The portal faded and the shadows vanished.

They reappeared at Legion's waist, and he let loose one laugh. There was no trace of him cutting a thread, he hadn't even done it. But it is only natural for a human mind to assume the worst outcome. His body broke apart into shadows, certain that Joe would rush forwards in rage and grief.

Joe didn't understand why his powers didn't just vanish in an instant. But he hadn't been present when it happened to the others, so he could only assume that he had a few moments before his powers gave out. Possibly a bit longer since the Genesis Blade would make him stronger. Joe stretched out his hand and summoned the blade before moving Star to the side and running into the chamber.

"Alright Legion. I know you're here. I assume I only have a moment or so before my powers short out, so why don't you show yourself and fight me in the meantime. Or are you afraid? That's it isn't it. You'd rather cancel out our powers than fight us on your own. Quit hiding and show some honor, but then again ... you came from Vile. So i guess that makes you a lost cause in that department."

He clutched the blade tightly. Wishing he had unlocked more of it's powers, but he knew it was too late for that. He had to use what he had.

The shadows began to reform, save for to slithers that creeped up and covered Joe's boots. Legion himself reformed, but his boots were missing up to his ankles. He was floating as his own boots formed over Joe's, rooting him in place. 'I don't need to cancel powers to fight. In fact, I was merely showing how terrifying fate can be on those three. But you are here now and my plan is almost complete' he declared and launched a shadow claw at Joe's throat. (Roll: 5)

Joe was beyond annoyed. Legion had tricked him into running in, but he was going to make sure Legion payed for it. Last time it didn't work on MeteorKnight, but he hoped Legion didn't possess the same powers. He clenched his fists and smiled under his helmet. "How's this for a plan? GOLDEN RADIANCE!!!!!!!" Joe's armor glowed brightly and engulfed Legion with a golden light. (roll: 20)

The striking shadow was evaporated as the attack consumed Legion. There was a vast cloud of smoke released from the blast, but a shadow claw wafted it away, revealing Legion to be unharmed by the attack. His boots had returned to him, releasing Joe. 'That was a cute attempt ranger, but it was also annoying. I may have seen it coming Joseph, however, I have also seen that there is no negative outcome for me. So let us try this again' Legion stated, firing both his shadows at Joe. Even if he attempted to dodge or strike one, the other would get him. (Roll: 17)

Joseph was stunned. His attack had only slightly evaporated one of the fists, and now he was faced with two. He focused all of his strength into the blade, which now glowed fiercely. He swung at the first claw and after a brief power struggle, managed to slice it in two. (roll: 15) Just as he followed through with his slash, the second claw collided with him and sent Joe flying backwards. Joe struggled to get to his feet as he remarked "hmph. Seems like I'm getting thrown around a lot lately."
