Vile jawed dropped "You fought him. And you survived. haha YES." He got up from his thrown and walked over to Legion. He placed a hand on his shoulder. "Well done my lad. I knew you were made from some strong stock. All of you." He turned to the others. "Would you mind giving MeteorKnight a rundown of any noticeable moves or patterns? But if you're saying he's a daredevil, then he probably doesn't even have a strategy. haha. But every little bit helps I suppose."

He then paced around a bit. "You wanted a second chance. Well, here it is. hmmm very strange. This doesn't mean anything to me. How bout the rest of you."

MeteorKnight's eyes flashed as if processing data, "I can sense no hidden message or rearranging of the letters that would be of interest."

GriffEnd shrugged "How should I know, why should I care. I don't see what's so special about him."

Atlas spoke up, "You're ignorance will be your downfall. He is not to be trifled with. Even MeteorKnight hasn't met him but knows he is a threat." Atlas then compossed himself. "As far as the message, I don't know. Maybe he means 'second chance' as in he was born from Joseph's dying. Or maybe how you (Vile) now get the chance to kill Joseph - in a sense. Since the Blade is what killed him last time. There can be multiple meanings." He turned to Legion, "for all we know he could even mean that you yourself have a second chance. Or any of us for that matter. But what that chance is ... I don't know."

'Do you feel like sharing Akhom's four powers?' Broodwing commented. 'I'm hardly made of strong stock when I'm made of nothing at all' Legion stated. 'And, whilst he doesn't seem to have a pattern, he isn't afraid to hurt himself. I infected him with the poison on my scythe, right in his chest. He tore out the infected part and cauterized the wound. Then, he tried to impale me when he turned his lost blood into knives. Although, I say try when he did. Didn't hurt much though. However, fate has given me some choice tid-bits; Akhom has four major abilities. Close-quarter teleportation, energy blasts, death touch and Genesis Reign. The first two are self-explanatory; the third, can be delayed, however, the effects probably have an inverse effect on Akhom. The fourth skill, I don't know. Although, I believe he used it against me in our battle'.

Vile stroked his chin, "hmm, using one's own blood as a weapon. I've heard of this. It's an ancient Alchemic technique called the Warrior's Will. It takes advantage that the blood is part water and part iron. It uses the iron and refines it as well as freezes the water. It was usually used as a dying man's last effort. But again, he's no mere man ... or demon for that matter. He was able to use it and still function. He must know some healing remedies as well."

"Anyway, this is all very valuable information. We'll have to decipher that Genesis Reign ability. It sounds intriguing. And especially the Death Touch. All of that AND his knowledge of incantations and so forth. He could be very valuable to us. Do you think he could be ... persuaded to join us?" Vile questioned.

Legion shook his head. 'Impossible, Akhom is too much of a free agent to ever join one side. It's not bias, it's just the way he is. The only time e would join someone is if there was something in it for him, most likely an opponent. If he battles an opponent, two or three things would most likely occur. If the opponent is a match for him, he will want to fight again, becomming a rival. If they're weaker than him, he'd kill them. The third was achieved by both myself and the Hades Ranger. That is trapping him in a place he'd need help to escape from. And besides-' Legion reported, cutting himself short. This was a troublesome issue, but, it had to be addressed eventually. 'And besides, Joseph's will wouldn't allow Akhom to join us, not that he would but still'.

"So perhaps we could find something enticing enough for him to join us?" Vile then stopped himself with that thought. "Wait ... what do you mean Joseph's will. I thought he was dead. Why should anything he thinks affect Akhom?" Vile was upset by this. "On one hand, I guess I do get a second chance at killing him, but on the other ... AHHH. He was soo infuriating. Why can't he just stay away. Are you absolutely sure he is affecting Akhom? Do you have proof or reason to suspect it?"

'How dare you! You see your control of fate as something you can hold over people's heads don't you. You think its a game. Was it a game when you changed John's, Jaden's, and Chris's lives! No one should hold themselves to be a God!' Legion said loudly in the same tone Akhom had used. 'That is not something Akhom would have said nor ever would have used' he explained. 'Also, you are not as privy as to situations as I am Master Vile. And I have learned this' Legion added, raising his hand, where some shadows formed. They rose up to create a viewing circle; it was displaying Zedren discussing with Cao the similarities between Akhom and Joe. It zoomed into to show them overlapping constantly.

"Well..." Sean said to Akhom, but stopped and thought, Since my powers are gone, maybe my contract is temporarily void. I guess I'll be safe. Sean sighed and sat down next to Akhom, crossing his legs, and closing his eyes. "I made a deal with Smokey." he began, chuckling a little at what he just called Legion. "I'm not sure you know this, but a few days ago, there were two other rangers, both from a different dimension, yet one of them seem to have a copy of my powers, but with the elephant. I wanted to defeat him, but I wasn't strong enough. Then Legion came to me once I took a break from all that I had went through. However, I had to sign a contract with him, which he assumed would give me a huge boost of confidence, but what I didn't know was that I was infected by a Gargantile Seed. I can't really explain what it is, but it caused the disappearance of one of my rangers. And this seed caused my powers to be fueled by darkness. At first, I had the upper hand, and then my friends intervened. I was glad for that, because I didn't want to kill my target, but merely show I am superior. Since then, I haven't seen that freak, and I was glad about that. And somehow, the memories of my friends and how I had fought for good for a while, I broke free from the infection, and I blamed Legion since I didn't know the real reason because of it. And later on, my powers had somehow disappeared and Zedren locked me up, thinking I'd lose control again, but I convinced him when something we hadn't fought in a while had returned." Sean then took a deep breath and looked around, hoping Legion had not heard a thing. "And that's about the only thing I had to do with Legion."

"Oh, and I forgot something. If I was ever to speak of the contract to anyone, my powers would be gone forever, as were 3 other rangers who now live normal lives because of Legion. But since my powers are supposedly sealed away, I believe that contract would be void for now. So, I think I'm lucky." Sean took another deep breath and said, "So what do you think about all I went through?" He finally had something to get off his chest, but he had to make sure Akhom doesn't mention this when he gets some form of his powers back. Well, IF he gets his powers back, that is.

Vile looked at the overlap, "Inconceivable!" He exclaimed. He tried to compose himself. "Very well then. But still, since you seem to have a ... connection with him ... ask if he wants to join. Perhaps use Deos as the opponent. Or something. It couldn't hurt in asking. But still as you said, I doubt it. On to a more important matter. Why is that girl still here? I mean, having Auric a prisoner is wonderful. But the girl too? Without Joseph in control she is useless to us."

GriffEnd then intervened "I say we kill her." He squeaked.

Atlas raised a hand, "The rangers will still want to rescue her. As a sort of fulfillment of Joe's last request of sorts."

"Oh give it a rest, I'll kill her myself. It won't be hard." GriffEnd responded.

MeteorKnight turned to him and said "Auric will defend her."

"So I'll kill them both."

----------

Akhom listened to Sean's story. He whistled in amazement. "Quite the story. And you have my word as a demon, I won't tell anyone about this. But ..." he paused for a second "...there are some pieces missing. Like for one, why hasn't Gargantia tried again. Or ... why/how did your powers get sealed away. And other stuff like that." Akhom then jumped to his feet, and pointed down at Sean with a smile on his face, "Luckily for you I have those answers. Or rather .. just learned them. Wanna hear?" Akhom questioned.

"I'll go and collect whatever books you have on incantations and other such useful information to help us in undertaking such a difficult and unpredictable task we've given ourselves now." Caoimhin informed Zedren as he left the room to investigate the library Zedren has in the base. Coaimhin spent some time in the wreckage of the library salvaging what books was of some use to him only to end up returning to Zedren with seven books that were either undamaged or of decent condition to read the text of incantations. Caoimhin placed them on the table and sat down to read one book after another for something that could teach him how to surpress Akhom's soul in hopes that Joe's soul is still hidden within the body.

"Well, with what you said about the few things not mentioned, I don't actually know why Gargantia had done it agai-." Sean then went into sudden shock as he widened his eyes and looked at Akhom with confusion in his eyes. "How in Zeus' name do you know Gargantia!? I can understand you may be a demon, but that doesn't mean that Gargantia is known around here, especially where you originated from." He sighed and closed his eyes again. "I don't know why Gargantia would do what he did again, or why my powers are gone, but I predict it has something to do with the only computer-based brother of Legion, MeteorKnight. This is only a prediction, but I'll find out someday. Anyway, speak your mind. How do you know what I don't about what had happened to me?"

Akhom pondered a second with an inquisitive look, "Very true. I know about many things. And I have heard stories of some creatures from other planets and universes. However, I know nothing about this Gargantia. But remember - Joe's memories are here as well." He tapped his head. He then raised his finger in a lecturing posture. "But i have my ways of learning other things. For example, I know tons of ancient magics and such, and thus know how to identify them."

Akhom then started to pace a bit, "I have the innate ability to sense certain things. And well, I was getting quite the interesting feeling from somewhere underground. I started searching immediately after I broke out of the base. I eventually found a bunch of underground abandoned subway tunnels. Man ... "Akhom then shivered "... you should see it down there." Akhom then got a devious look on his face. "In fact" He then grabbed Sean and teleported.

They then reappeared in total darkness. There was then a blinding flash of light. It seemed to come from Akhom's hand and strike something in the corner. All of a sudden, a light flickered on. Akhom walked through the slight darkness now and picked up the lantern and returned to help Sean up. "Take a moment to get your bearings, my teleportation is slightly different than your morphing teleportation." He then handed Sean the lantern. The tunnel was a mess, there was destroyed machinery, long out of commission. Bent tracks and various other debris. There were large puddles of water everywhere. Most of the ground was like mud. a few rats scurried along the ground. Up further, the tunnel eventually branched off into two parts.

"Let's move along Sean, this place was completely flooded when I first found it. It's low tide now, but it'll only last about another hour or so." Akhom was pointing to the left path; however, he was doing something very different. Something Sean hadn't seen him do yet. He was floating. Upside down as well. His hair hanging down above his head. He looked like he had the innocence of a child. Even in a situation like this, he was still goofing off and having fun.

One of Legion's shadows lashed out and grabbed GriffEND by his throat. He didn't even turn his head to face his brother. 'You will not touch the girl or Auric. As the contract binding them to me still stands, they are in my thrall until the time the rangers locate and I defeat Deos. So, you will do well not to make silly idle threats about them in my presence, although, you won't be saved even when not in my presence. And that goes for all of you' Legion stated, looking at each of his brother's before resting on Master Vile. The shadow then released GriffEND. 'Be my brother or not, I will not tolerate harm coming to either of them. Is that clear?' Legion demanded.

Caoimhin quickly ran through the contents of the books he had picked up, searching for a spell that could help them with their Akhom predicament. Caoimhin eventually found something that was of interest, the page explained of how people of the past engraved a specific symbols on to a weapon to help exorcise demons that had control over a person's body as it passes through the physical body only to harm the spirit within and how it works by stabbing it into the head of the possessed person, though, it mentions that someone with strong magic can use it to even severe the control of a body part on it's own.

Caoimhin made a dagger appear on the table and in his hands were a hammer and a chisel. "Good thing my best friend in the past showed me a few things after he learnt it from his father how was a blacksmith." Caoimhin stated, a slight smile appearing on his face as his friends still managed to help him even in the afterlife.

Caoimhin carefully carved the symbols onto the blade of the dagger and immediately after completing the process the blade was surrounded by a strange aura and became slightly transparent and ghost like. Caoimhin picked it up in his right hand and closely examined it. "It's not usually my style but this might have to be a quick assassination while he doesn't expect such an attack."

Caoimhin was soon able to detect Akhom's whereabouts and teleported nearby. He hid the dagger in his sleeve then calmly and quietly walked over to Akhom from behind. Caoimhin noticed Sean with him. That's all i need...more obstacles. he thought to himself as he silently walked to Akhom. When he was three feet away from Akhom pulled took out the daager and rushed at Akhom and thrust the blade at Akhom's head.

Brandon had been inside the library for the past hour. He was reading book after book in the highly restricted section. This section was for only Diabolico and Zedren's use, but Brandon thought otherwise and looked. Over 20 books have been on the floor. He remembered a book in his time in this same library about certain fears a demon has. As he looked, all he managed to find was stuff on either Queen Banshira and her dark magic, or Master Vile's dark sage-like wizardry. It was certain that either demons fear them or it was completely bogus. He had enough with searching and contacted Zedren. "Hey Zedren. Anything happening? I've been in the library and I haven't heard anything in a while." he said. "Must be the reception here."

"Crystal" GriffEnd squeaked out, trying to catch his breath.

Atlas then approached the two. "Stop this both of you. There are bigger matters at hand."

Vile nodded. "Yes. Atlas, MeteorKnight ... keep an eye on Loki. But also on this new entity I've been sensing lately."

"I'll keep watch over Loki as usual Master." Atlas had gotten more accustomed to using that term for Vile. He no longer had total disgust when saying it. "No use in having both myself and MeteorKnight at half strength."

MeteorKnight nodded, as did Vile. "Good then." Vile declared. "And GriffEnd, keep to your area. Kill the rangers. So finish sharpening your claws and finish the job."

The three Tetrarchs left the room, leaving only Vile and Legion.

----------

Zedren heard Brandon's call. "Hey Brandon. I almost forgot about you down there. Nothin much has changed. Although I think Caoimihn found a way to get rid of Akhom. He just teleported to where he was. I have the coordinates, but they appear to be slightly off the map."

----------

Akhom started tapping his foot impatiently in mid air. "Come on Sean, let's move it along. You have no idea what kind of ...." Just then a ear twitched and grabbed the hand behind his head. "... SKUM ..." He viciously flipped him over his head and managed to land a switf jab into his assailants spine, before slamming him on his back with his head below Akhom's floating body. Akhom then spun around and pounced on top of his assailant, ".... might find you."

Akhom finally realized who attacked him. "Hey! Caoimhin!" He was as jubilant as a little puppy. Again, if he had a tail, it'd be wagging. "Wow, you really should sneak up behind me Caoimhin ol buddy. I almost thought you were one of Gargantia's Strikers. Sorry I was soo rough on you, I've had a fair share of fighting off assassin's in the past. Kina always on alert." His ears twitched as if to demonstrate. "Even when I'm asleep these puppies are always working. hahaha" This whole time he still had Caoimhin pinned to the ground.

He then noticed the dagger on the ground a few feet away. "hmm ... interesting." he scurried over to it to check it out. He sniffed it and then put it away from his nose as if in disgust. He then looked it over and focused on the writing. He then stood up and held it in the palm of his hand. "No need for anything like this." He said in a nonchalant tone as he disintegrated the blade in his hand. "Something like that is very dangerous. You could poke your soul out with something like that." he said as he dusted the soot from his hands. "So what brings you down here? And better yet, how'd you find us?"

Legion was silent for a short moment. 'I find it interesting Master Vile; that the effect Earth and it's inhabitants is having on me. Having not been gifted with a personality, I have been growing one by each new experience those around me have vested with. I suppose my defensive attitude and the barbaric way I attacked my own brother is evidence of this. Would it be truly wrong to say that I have feelings for the girl? Even those of, love?'

OoC: So, where Akhom brought Sean, was where MeteorKnight sealed away Gargantia? I wasn't sure so I didn't reply.

Sean had looked around constantly, wondering as to where he could possibly be. How it looked it seemed to be ruins, but of what. He believed them to be one of those "subways" he had heard about. But he just ignored it and sighed. When he saw that Akhom was growing impatient, he began to follow him. And then out of nowhere, Akhom was nearly ambushed by Caoimhin, but he didn't realize it at first. When Akhom knocked him down, he asked to himself, "What could Caoimhin be doing here, and trying to ambush Akhom?" He then heard about the dagger that Akhom picked up that Caoimhin had dropped and was shocked at what it could do. "Um, you've seen a weapon like that before, Akhom?" he asked out of curiosity.

OoC: Yup, and it's okay. i was horribly ill for the past few days so i could post anyway.

Akhom turned to Sean with a pleasant smile. "I certainly have. Again ..." he tapped his head "... millenia of knowledge up here. Seen many things and learned many things. That was a sealing dagger. Although, a little crude in design. The best pair I've ever seen were ... " Akhom thought for a second, shivered, and then continued "... eh, never mind. Anyway, it's like a variation of a blood seal." He waited a second and noticed that neither knew what he was talking about.

"It's like a non personal version of the Warrior's Will." He again waited and realized they had no idea what he meant. He rolled his eyes and explained. "Fine. A blood seal is a type of technique that performed by using your own blood to restrict your opponent. It can be used to seal movement, words, magic, ... basically anything. Though it comes at a huge price. BOY ... do I have a story for you guy involving me and blood seals. haha. Awesome!" Akhom laughed a bit as he remembered such a legendary tale.

"But I digress ... well ... i can tell that story later. Please tell me to tell that story later." It was easy to see he looked upon this with a fond memory. "ANYway, a sealing dagger uses the idea of like a ... well ... like a finger in a dam. Ok, bad analogy. But that's exactly why it doesn't work - or why it's such a hard technique. It was the wimpy alternative to a blood seal. No equivalent exchange." There was specific emphasis on 'equivalent exchange'.

He then turned back to Caoimhin, who was still on the floor. "Oh I didn't forget about you. Still waiting for those answers to those questions." He then stuck his tongue out. It was unsure if he was just playfully ignorant about Caoimhin trying to 'soul assassinate' him, or if he knew but was only 'pretending' to be ignorant.

------

Vile then rubbed his eyes. He honestly had no idea what to tell Legion. "Well when my daughter wanted to marry Zedd, I supported her. Well ... supported her, not him. I would of supported Rito ... but ... well let's face it. We knew he was never going to get married. So, you're basically my one son who's gone through this. On one hand, I support whatever you want; however ... she isn't one of us." There was a moment of silence. "But if she were on our side, it might be forgivable." He then shrugged. "I don't have an answer for you on this one."

So close Caoimhin grimaced as he looked at Akhom who obviously knew what he was trying to do yet he never tried to kill Caoimhin for attempting such an act. "I found you because I know your aura that resonates from your body and with my millenia of experience, I am fully capable of detect your location with pin point accuracy. I do have to keep tabs on you afterall, though, there was a moment earlier on were I couldn't sense your presence at all." Caoimhin explained to answer one of the questions. Caoimhin got back up on his feet, brushing off whatever dirt and slime was on his clothing. "As for why I came here...I'm certain you already know the answer and you're pretending to be ignorant to it."

"Awww, that's soo sweet. You're keeping tabs on me. Making sure I don't wander off with strangers." Akhom winked. "And as far as why you came here ... it's simple." Akhom then walked up to Caoimhin and poked him in the nose. "Tag, you're it." Akhom then disappeared and reappeared behind Sean laughing in mid air. After about a minute or so of this he regained his composure. "Ahh, that was fun. But can you be a good guardian and head back top side. I'm giving Sean a tour, and well ... there's only 1 ticket available."

"Fine but don't cause any trouble down here or i will find a way to stop you and keep you locked up somewhere." Caoimhin replied to Akhom then turned his attention to Sean. "And you better not be trying to persuade Akhom to help you gain your ranger powers back. Unlike your father, you don't deserve to obtain such power." Caoimhin immediately teleport back to the HQ and cursed himself for failing to stop Akhom.

Akhom landed back on the ground. "YES .... Master." Akhom bowed. "We shall cause no trouble here." Once Caoimhin teleported away, Akhom stuck out his tongue and then pulled his eye lid down with his finger. He then began to walk away after waving Caoimihin off sarcastically and rolling his eyes.

He then stopped and sniffed the air. He ignited his right hand with a hot energy. He canceled it in a second and jabbed the fingers into his chest. He flinched slightly from the pain - considering it was NOTHING compared to what he had to do earlier. And he still had some of the medicine in his system, so he'd heal from something like this incredibly fast.

He threw some drops of blood to the ground and in the blink of an eye drew a perfect circle with the ball of his foot. He then proceeded to draw a pentagram in the center of that circle with equally impressive speed and dexterity. As he finished the drops of blood hit the ground just in time. The room was covered in a slight reddish light as Akhom whispered some words. The entire cave system was now lit.

Akhom then turned to Sean, "Remember how i said we have an hour or so. Well ... not anymore. I just made a seal to stop anyone else from coming here. HOWEVER, there is another seal already placed in this location. A much stronger one. One with a much bigger price paid. The two magics will conflict for a while, but ultimately mine will lose. We have 15 minutes until that happens. Until that time, no one can see whats happening here or teleport down here. So let's move on quickly. Come on."

Now it was easy to see everything in the cave. Akhom began to run ahead, jumping over debris and without breaking a stride. "Come on Sean, you can do it.:"

-------

Meanwhile in Loki's lair, he suddenly got flustered by something. "What's this magic. And why cant I see through it?" His raven vision would not work.

OoC: This shows that No One is able to teleport to Sean and Akhom's location or even whitness what is occuring. If you wish to post about you inability to do so - so be it, but don't post that you somehow bypassed it. Not even Legion can do it. (If you need the explanation of why not ... I'll do so)

As Caoimhin walked down a hallway in the base, his spine shivered as he felt something strange and unexplainable appeared in the world and stopped him in his place. "That came from Akhom and Sean's location." he said to himself. He decide to not get careless and immediately focused his mind to teleport to them...nothing happened...he was still inside the Ranger's base. "What?...Why can't I go to them?...What have you done this time Akhom?" Caoimhin questioned as he leaned against the wall to his left then slowly slumped down to the floor. "He's outsmarted me again."

"It's no use...I can't compete with any of them. Akhom can defeat a god and even more knowledge of magic than I do. Legion has his intelligence and powers of Fate. The rest of the Tetrarchs are unbelievably powerful in a certain attribute. And we've got Loki and his group to combat with as well. There's barely a group right now to fight all that and I'm expected to help save this world. Me...an obvious side character in life...has to fight all of that, it's impossible." Caoimhin spoke to himself as he was mentally drowning in a sea of despair. "Why can't the important people return and continue this fight?...And why hasn't the kid shown any signs of still being in that body?"

Sean glared at Caoimhin just before he teleported out of the cave. "I do deserve to get my powers back." he said to himself as he clenched his fist, but then felt a similar feeling; a feeling of rage. And then he remembered something from before. When he had that Gargantile Seed in him before. He relieved the clenching of his fists and calmed down. He just hoped Akhom didn't see that. Watching as Akhom do what he was doing, whatever he's doing, he went into shock as he was blinded for a few short seconds. Then when he could see, he saw that the entire cave was lighted. "Well, this helps to find out where we're going!"

"Wait, what?" asked Sean after hearing Akhom's small explanation and following him wherever he's going. From what info was given to him, he had to hurry. He then came across a lot of debris that Akhom had jumped across. Let's hope I still got it! he thought as he took a deep breath. He ran towards the debris and jumped to the wall closest to him, running along it and jumping between them as he ran to the other side. Jumping off, he landed with perfect balance, but felt a slight shock in his heals, which hurt a bit. He tried to make sure that Akhom would not see it. (Roll: 21)

Legion let out a laugh. 'I suppose you're right, besides, she's already spoken for. Still, I do not doubt the possibility of her turning, it's just that we would have so little to gain if she did. That reminds me' Legion said and vanished.

He reappeared in Izabel's room and was about to say something, but he then realised his blindness to a certain area. 'Impossible' he thought. He shook it away and addressed Izabel. 'I have a message for you from Akhom' he announced.
