"There probably gonna take a long time to get here with the food so you might want to explain to me why you never used that so called 'Death Touch' on me earlier." Caoimhin told Akhom to try and start a conversation with him. "For someone who sounds powerful, you don't seem to act or look like it to me. Also...how many demons does this Demon Codex have information with in it?"

Akhom then turned his back to Caoimhin and climbed up a piece of rubble. He sat on top with his legs crossed like always. He scratched his chin with his pointer finger "hmm why didn't i use my death touch on you? Good question." He pondered for a moment. "Well for starters, you're no use to me dead." He then got a serious look on his face. "You see ... I like Chaos. And i don't mean people running the the streets choas ... i just mean hard to predict chaos. It's kind of who i am. i like things unpredictable. And you represent a possibility. Will you trust me? Will you not? Will your little anger outbursts undo you? Will you overcome them? See? Soo many possibilities."

"Also ... why should I show off all my abilities? You learned about one of them. Well ... one and a half." he then thought for a second. "Although, I could of used that skill and no one would of been the wiser. But, one ... I would of been trapped in Tartarus and two ... wasn't the right time." He then looked really menacing and his voice got a lot harsher. "I could make this entire base crumble to the ground." There was silence for a minute or so. "But I won't." His voice was again cheerful and innocent.

"Finally ... call me crazy but, Joe's thoughts are here too." He tapped his head. "Actually ... It weird kind of." He scratched his chin. "It's almost like we're both in here evenly." he shrugged. "And well ... he apparently has a great deal of respect for you. So I'll let you slide." He waved Caoimhin off in a sarcastic confident manner.

"Oh, and as for the Demon Codex. It has every demon. Well, at least the ones that matter." He paused. "There's tons of demons that are just spirits. We don't bother to put them in there. They're so weak that if a stronger class demon such as myself were to stand anywhere near them ... they'd disintegrate. Actually, even strong non demons could do that."

Caoimhin smiled a little after hearing that Joe had respect for him. "Thank you for answering my questions. I'm glad to hear young Joseph has a great deal of respect for me. I respect him as well but he's still not proven to me that he's shown his true potential as a ranger and the leader of this group. When he does though I'll stop calling him 'young' Joseph and just call him Joseph as a sign of respect for become a true warrior. I just wish I could have brought back Izabel for him before you took over his body. You can see through his memories that he loves her and I'm going to do my best to get them back together, throughout my time I've more than enough broken hearts in many worlds and I don't want to add there's to the list."

"We ain't so different in a way, seeing as we've both been prisoners to that Genesis Blade. You were sealed within it for a few millenia while I was alone in the silence of my home city watching over you till the right person came. Which is more worse? Being locked in the weapon and be used as an instrument of destruction or watching over it while the memories you have of your city continues to haunt your mind, remembering the screams and hearing them plea for mercy and those monsters caused so much destruction to the paradise that we had and all that time you are powerless to do anything to make things better, till you break down from it all then ultimately try to take your own life. Tell me which is worse?" Caoimhin realised what he was saying to Akhom. "I've spoken too much about that subject."

Caoimhin cleared his throat. "What will you do if we are able to give you your own life back? Will you be a danger to us?"

Akhom tilted his head in response to Caoimhin's speech about suffering, "A caring person would ask 'what's wrong' or ' oh, i hope you feel better' or 'wanna talk about it?'. Luckily I'm not a caring person ... and I don't care." He stuck his tongue out at Caoimhin. "As far as will I be a danger to you all ... who knows." He shrugged."I will say though that you don't have to worry about me trying to take over the world. I don't want to rule it. Too many responsibilities."

"I didn't say anything about ruling the world and considering that you are not fond of responsibility, it sounds like destroying Earth would be your goal if that was what you wanted." Caoimhin smirked back at Akhom. "Though I see you as more of a person who would choose to be a constant annoyance to the universe if anything else. Anyway, what bothers me is that once you are gone, young Joseph's strength will diminish significantly as his source of power was the Genesis Blade. Guess we'll have to figure out how to get him strong again." Caoimhin then thought of something else which could be of some importance. "Hey, Akhom, have you met anyone named Atlas?...He seems to know a lot about you."

Brandon followed Zedren along wit carring the sword to the library for inspection. As he followed he remembered something he needed to ask Zedren. "Hey Zedren." he started. "I wanted to know if I could check on the Zords for a few repairs or upgrades. Now that we have the Tetarchs here, we have to be on the ready whether its with Zords or not." he then looked at the the damage done to the base. "I'll also make sure to reinforce the reinforcements on the base."

Zedren, Sean and Brandon sat at a small table outside the pizza shop. He had gotten the 2 of them drinks in the meantime as they waited. It was funny to see Zedren drinking from a soda cup instead of a tea cup. He looked at Brandon and said in a quiet voice, "Of course you can take a look at them. But i feel that our are different from yours. You know ... different origins and all. Not to say yours are inferior, just ... different." He took a sip from the straw. "And yes, I'd love it if you could fortify the base for me."

Sean quietly sipped his drink. He looked as though he had a lot on his mind. "Umm ... Zedren."

Zedren took another sip and then looked at Sean, "Yes Sean?"

"I was just wondering." He began. "Do you think I'll ever get my powers back or ... new powers."

Zedren looked saddened. "It's difficult to tell. Last time, all I had to do was infuse a preexisting power into your animal spirit. This time around ... there is no spirit since Gargantia had the idol and I'm sure has destroyed it. And there are no powers either. I can't find the slightest trace of your old powers anywhere. The panther no longer exists." He took another sip. "We would have to find some sort of vessel through which you could channel your energy. Not to mention a power source that would have enough strength to be used in the morphing grid. And at the rate the Tetrarchs and Loki's forces are getting stronger ... an everyday power isn't good enough. There are sadly no ancient powers left." He paused for a moment. "I honestly don't think it looks good."

Sean was saddened by this revelation. "I won't lose hope Zedren. You once told me that anything is possible for those who believe. I believe."

Zedren smiled. "That was actually something Zordon used to say. That's where i got it from." He paused. "He would be proud of you Sean. No matter what has come your way or what has hindered you ... you have kept the faith alive."

----------------------

Akhom pondered for a second. "Atlas ... Atlas. Was he a Titan? Meh." He shrugged. "Never really had that many run ins with them." He then kept thinking about the beings from the time and place. The Titans. The Olympians. OLYMPIANS. HADES. Akhom suddenly gripped the side of the slab of concrete he was sitting on. He seemed peeved about something. As he squeezed a few cracks formed in the solid stone. The cracks got larger until finally the entire stone shattered beneath him. He then fell clumsily to Caoimhin's feet. He shook his head as if to shake off the stun. He then looked up at Caoimhin pleasantly again "Yup ... I don't know an Atlas."

Brandon eyes his drink as he moved the straw around a bit. "Well, the Sigma Zords are really no different from the Omega ones. Rather than having the AT core and a clockwise circutry, the Sigma Zords use the same metal and coponents. Not only that, they have a better chance of being ready for battle, despite the connection towards Omega Rangers and Zords." he explained. "I can upgrade them as well as I did my team's Zords." he took a sip of his drink. "If I can't, I'll rely on one of the books in your library again."

"So how I don't believe you. Your actions suggest otherwise, so that means you must know something about them or at least something that is connected to them in some way. Might as well tell me everything so you don't crush any piece of rubble again." Caoimhin then helped Akhom get back up on his feet. "What's taking them so long to get some pizza?"

"Of course. You are the most technologically apt person I know. My library is at your disposal." Zedren, Brandon and Sean then got their pizzas and started on their way back.

-----------

Akhom waved Caomhin off. "Nope. Don't know an Atlas. Or what you're talking about. Besides ... you said it yourself. I seem like someone who like's to be an annoyance." He then gave Caoimhin the cold shoulder. "If I don't tell you anything ... that'll annoy you. That is ... if I know anything." He then laughed in his usual full of himself manner. His stomach then growled. "Uhh .... maybe I'll just tell you after pizza." He smiled.

At this point, Caoimhin's communicator went off. It was Zedren. "Caoimhin, we're almost back at the base. Since the underground portion of the base is kind of a wreck ... we'll eat in the above ground green house. Sound good? Meet us there."

"You're in luck Akhom, the food is almost here. We've just got to head to the green house up above us. Maybe i'll get some answers from you...or...I could be someone who annoys you and stop you from having any food as some type of torture. Depends on how you act in the end." Caoimhin grinned evily at the prospect of being able to torture the most irritating being in the universe. "Anyway, let's go and meet up with the others." He said and walked off down the corridors to get find the stairs leading to the ground above.

Akhom just looked at Caoimhin disapprovingly. "See, when I do it ... it's funny. But what you're proposing ... that's just cruel."

--------

Everyone gathered in the upper gardens. It was strange for a base to have such a beautiful area, but Zedren found it relaxing. Catherine and Ashley (prior pink zeo ranger and yellow space ranger) spent a lot of time there as well tending to the flowers.

Zedren spread out the pizzas. He had bough quite a few. Some plain, some peperoni, some Sicilian, and various others. Akhom looked over all the boxes with a hungry look on his face. He liked the look of the Sicilian, so he grabbed the entire box and then lept up into one of the trees. He rested the box in the branches, grabbed a piece, sniffed it and immediately began to eat. He ate fast. He paused for a moment while on the 3rd piece and looked at group down below. "You certainly know how to pick food Zedren." He said with a joyous expression.

Zedren smiled. "Sicilian was Joe's favorite, so I had a feeling you'd like it as well."

"Really?" He sad with a mouthful of pizza. "Well however you knew ... you can pick my meals from now on." He continued munching on the pizza.

Brandon looked over at Akhom and started to think. "It seems odd that you are able to have the same likes and dislikes as Joe. Maybe its because your mental waves are equal to each other." he thought outwardly. "Seems like it though." he then ate some of the pizza that was on the box and continued to read the book. "Hmm. I better start my repairs." he then got up and made his way into the Zords' habitat, seeing at first sight, the Lio Zord. "Well, this is gonna be a tough thing to do."

Akhom stared at Brandon as he left. He seemed baffled and confused by what he had just said. But he just shrugged it off and ate more pizza. He was on the last piece of the pie he had taken.

Zedren thought about what Brandon had said. "That's it." He exclaimed as he go up. "I'll be in my office guys. I think i just solved this. Akhom feel free to help yourself to whatever you want. I have to get going." Zedren then ran off towards his office. He took the back way since most of the base was still a little shaken up.

Akhom looked curiously at this as he finished his last slice. He again shrugged. He then jumped out of the tree and landed near the pizza box Zedren was taking from. "I guess he won't mind if I take his share." He smelled the slice. He didn't like it as much as the other, but he wasn't picky. He then set to work on eating it.

Sean looked at him and shook his head in disapproval.

Akhom noticed this. He turned to Sean and asked, "So what's your story?"

Sean looked puzzled. "What story?"

Akhom kept munching. "Why don't you morph?"

Sean looked down at his food. "Not that it concerns you ... but I lost my powers. I have no idea how. But all I know is they're gone." He was silent for a moment. "And Zedren thinks that it's impossible for me to ever get powers again."

Akhom looked on blankly. "That's a shame." He said in a very sarcastic, uncaring manner.

Brandon started his work on repairing and upgrading the Lio Zord. He first started the process by giving it an EMP to shut it down long enough to fix it. "Okay lets start." he cracked his fingers and he opened up the head of the Zord. There were electrical cords flowing around in a clockwise manner. In the middle was the main core of the Zord. It was still spinning and had a bright gold glow to it. "This is the AT core. Its not as bright as it should be. Must be because of the electrical power." he walked down to grab a few tools: a drill, plyers, electrical tape, and some more wires. "Don't worry Lio, you'll feel like you are just made and stronger than ever." he started taking out some of the wires that went to the core and re-route them to other places that needed it, such as the defense and weapons systems.

Nexev reappeared at his base and sighed. "Yeah the Valkeiree was cool but for some reason Legion decided to help and killed her, what the hell is wrong with that guy? It seems he exists solely to ruin everyone fun. Anyway we need something else. The ghost guy is working for Cao now, I was watching, it's very useful sinking into earth, you can just watch and wait. Stuff is going to get very unpleasant very fast unless we work fast. What ever happened to Ralis anyway? We could use his help now."

Loki scratched his head, "I'm not sure where Ralis is. I'll send the ravens on it." He then spoke to himself 'Either way, I don't have to worry about him crossing me.' He then turned to the darkness. "I thought you said that this spirit would be unallied and cause chaos."

Loptr then approached the two. "Hmmm, well that was unexpected. And that is really all i promised his arrival would mean. I guess the guardian found a way around his trickery. But ... sometimes things are rarely as they appear. I doubt he'd be bought over so easily. I say we still observe the situation."

Loki then slammed his fist down. "What happened to me being the source of council? I feel like I'm reporting to you now."

Loptr was surprised by this. "I'm not sure I follow. I'm trying to help you. I have my own realm to deal with."

"Then why do you hang out here." Loki said angrily.

Loptr was really surprised by this. He never expected this reaction. 'I suppose our choice of bodies isn't the only difference through the dimensions.' He thought to himself. He raised his hands, "If that is what you desire, don't let me stand in your way. If you need me, you know how to reach me." Loptr began to walk out of the cavern. He stopped at Nexev, "Take care my friend. And don't be a stranger. Come visit anytime." Loptr then walked out of the cavern and disappeared.

After about an hour of working on Lio, he finished and re-activated it. When it was full activated, Lio roared loudly, signalling it felt new again. A golden glow filled his mouth when he roared and sent a shockwave in the habitat, destroying someof the trees and broght the attention of the other Zords. "Well, you seem to like your new capabilities now." he said as he checked Lio off of the list. "Hmm...Pagasus should be next." he said to himself as he walked through the habitat to find Pegasus.

'The funny thing about omniscience Loki' a voice began. Standing on the roof of the cavern was Legion. He leapt down and landed perfectly. 'Is that you're no good at it Loki' he added. He stared intently at Loki for a quick moment. 'It's sad really, I wonder why Atlas is so intent on keeping you around. Meteor Knight finished of Gargantia within minutes, and yet you are still here. Perhaps there is something else to this Loki, not that it matters of course' Legion commented.

Nexev laughed. "Awww, how sweet, you followed me? Do you wuv me that much?" Nexev said blowing a kiss to Legion. "But wait, you don't want to make your girl jealous now do you? That would be mean!" Nexev gave a giggle before summoning his cross. "I never was one for destiny. It would be great if I could kill you right now." Nexev said charging at Legion, jumping over Legion and then charged at his back trying to whack him with his Cross (15) "Come on, just try to kill me, I outlived gods and I will outlive you!"

Legion didn't react, however, the shadow attached to his waist blocked Nexev's attacked, entangling the cross. It tore it from the Fallen ranger's hands and smacked him in the face with it (Counter: 17). The shadow released the cross, which dropped to the ground. 'Sad thing is, Fallen ranger, is that I am no god. I serve Master Vile, his will is my will. Sadly, you wouldn;t know much about loyalty, you betrayed your own friends, your own family to save your own skin' Legion retorted back.

Nexev stopped laughing, just stared. "No it wasn't like that, they died first, I had no choose. It wasn't my fault." Nexev just started mummering to himself and staring at nothing in particural. Then, he fell to the ground, and started crying. And crying, and crying. "There was no choice, there had to have been no choice. The universe would have been torn apart first. It was the only thing I could do. It was nessecery, it was always nessecery." Nexev muttered between sobs. His eyes blinded by tears, he seized to notice Legions existence at all.

Loki stepped forward as one of his eyes began to glow. "Ahh, so Vile's latest lacky wanted an audience. And I thought Atlas was the one assigned to me."

Loki then noticed Legion stare at his eye. "You're curious about this are you? Well ... you should really have spoken to Atlas before coming here. Since before you stands two Gods in one. And this eye here is my ace."

--------

Meanwhile back at the Omega base everyone had finished eating. Akhom sat in the tree still and seemed to be meditating about something. His ears twitched slightly as if trying to hear things from miles away.

Brandon has just finished upgrading all of the Omega Zords in the base, and at record time too. It only took him three hours to do that, unlike the Sigmas which took nearly seven. Once he finished he placed all of the uneeded spare parts in a container to use for something. He then got into the intercom and contacted Zedren. "Hey Zedren." he stated through the whole base. "I finished the upgrades. In order for me to actually see what they can do, we'll have to give them a field test." he then stopped and got the Zords rounded up in the main door to the habitat, in case Zedren gave him the word.

'Ace or not, what does it matter Loki? I am of course going to respect my Master's desire of allowing Atlas to finish you off, although' he said, cutting off his sentence. He raised a hand, and the index finger lanced out quickly and stopped a few millimetres away from the eye Loki mentioned. His finger shot back and returned to its normal dimensions. 'You shouldn't be so quick to brag about your best toy Loki, otherwise, every kid in the playground will want a piece of it. And especially not mentioned to me Loki, because, in due time I will come for that eye' he warned and vanished; and then reappeared quickly. 'You might wanna help him' Legion commented and pointed at Nexev, then vanished for good.
