"Everyone, brace yourselves." Ecliptor shouted. Just then a massive piece of ceiling fell on him. Diabolico ran on top of the fallen ceiling, waved his staff and created a shield over himself. The shield was about 10 feet in diameter and was also preventing anymore rubble from crushing Ecliptor.

 

"Brandon, Sean. Get under here quickly."Diabolico yelled.

 

The entire base was shaking. The slumbering zords roared in confusion. Zedren could even feel the rumbles in his office.

Akhom looked at the collapsing cave area. "I can't dodge that fast you idiot!" he shouted in a loud surprised voice. He started off my doing running and somersaulting over some fallen rocks. A huge stalactite impaled the ground right in front of him. He then proceeded to run about 10 feet up it and then back flipped just as a second stalactite crushed the first. A medium sized boulder was about to smash him, when he jumped away and faded in mid jump. He then reappeared a few feet away. He continued to do this for a few seconds, narrowly missing each falling rock. The entire time he had a nervous look on his face. Suddenly as he was leaping in mid air, about to teleport, a piece of debris slammed him in the back and sent him crashing to the ground. It had him pinned to the ground, only his arms and head were free, the rest was trapped under the boulder.

In Vile's lair, Izabel sat silent. She then spoke in a somber tone. "I should. I should go back home. And start fresh. Leave all this behind. You. Auric. The rangers. Joseph. I should start fresh and forget about all this s&*t." She then looked at Legion with harsh eyes." But I won't. The conditions of the agreement were that they'd find Deos, and you'd spare them. I represent that bargaining chip. Even if you have no one left to bargain with, they still wouldn't want anything to happen to a fellow human."

 

Auric spoke "Lady Izabel, Auric must ask that you reconsider. Think of what you would be sacrificing."

 

Izabel looked at Auric understandingly. "I'm a lady of my word. I'm not about to run away." She then turned her head back to stare at Legion. "Even if Joseph isn't here to save me ... "

[The Warden]

Legion nodded solemnly. 'You turly are a woman of your word, though now, it appears there may not be a base to go back to. Loki's minions seem to enjoy sulking as much as he does. The Omega base is beginning to crumble, with your friends inside it. I can see it now in fact, that cross toy of Nexev, I'll need to eliminate that in future. In fact, given by the possibilities I'm seeing, I will' he said, beginning to talk more to himself halfway through that little speech.

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin leapt past a falling boulder as it came crashing down to the ground, instantly somersaulting over smaller rocks and landing on a boulder that was still falling. Caoimhin noticed Akhom getting hit by a boulder. "Good, I can get some answers off him now." Caoimhin said to himself before punching through a stalactite to make his way to Akhom. Caoimhin leapt from one boulder to another, while keeping track of Akhom's condition, if he dies so does Joe. Caoimhin dodged a large piece of rock and backflipped to Akhom and sat beside him. "You'll be fine, you're not as weak as you are making out to be. I just want to know how to get young Joseph back. It was my mistake that brought you back to life so it's my responsibility to bring him back. So...how do I bring him back?"

Akhom stopped struggling and got a serious look on his face. "Dang, guess my acting needs work." He laughed. "So you want to know how to get Joe back do you? Well ... you can't. Well ... at least ..." He took a long pause. "I have no idea." As he waited for Caoimhin's possible shock/annoyance to end, he offered an apology. "Hey, to be honest, this is the first time I've ever been able to take on a host. I'm not even sure why me and this kid are soo agreeable." He paused and thought for a moment, " I mean ... I was merely imprisoned in the blade. I don't know what was said about me afterward. There might be some answers in there. The only way to find out is if we had a demon of sufficient rank. And if I'm remembering this right - or rather if Joe is remembering this right - that Dominic kid with the Fenrir spirit is not around."

[Fallen Hero]

"Still not understanding what you are getting act but it's probably best if I drag you back to base and explain it all to Zedren, he's more intelligent when it comes to this stuff. You just gotta promise to knock go running off with your teleporting abilities. You never know, we might be able to find a way for you to be your own person, without using young Joseph's body." Caoimhin stretched his right arm out to shake hands with Akhom. "So...do we have a deal or do you like the idea of staying here for a few more millenia?"

Akhom rolled his eyes "Wait ... I can't use my teleportation to leave your side. So you want me to be like your pet dog or something. And stay obedient. UGH. Although" he pondered for a moment, "... i guess at least looking out a window to the outside world is better than in here. There's no scenery here." He shrugged and smirked with recognition. He then vanished and reappeared standing up on top of the boulder. He had teleported again. "What ... I want to get it out of my system while I'm still in here." He laughed lightly and jumped down from the boulder to Caoimhin's height. "Alright guardian boy you got yourself a deal." He shook Caoimhin's hand.

 

"So ... we getting out of here this century or the next?"

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin opened a rift in space to the base but he paused as he felt a huge amount of energy emanating from the base. "Maybe you might get another, Akhom." Caoimhin said to him. "Just don't go running off after it...that's if there is a battle still continuing." Caoimhin went through the rift and arrived outside the base. Cerberus retreat from the base, something wrong, now return back to our island till I summon you again Caoimhin telepathically commanded his zord to which it roared in response and teleported back to the Island of Creation.

The base shook violently, various pieces of ceiling fell all over the base. After a few more moments, the shaking subsided.

 

Diabolico dropped his spell shield and helped Sean and Brandon up. All three of them then lifted the debris off of Ecliptor. As they looked around they saw a mess of debris blocking the doorway. Suddenly there was a voice heard, "Spiral saber!" A blast of sparks erupted from the blocked doorway. As the rubble fell away, the image of the Red Space Ranger stood before them. "Everyone okay" Andros asked.

 

Zedren then stepped out around the corner. "Well I'm certainly happy I had this base more reinforced than the last one. We seem to get a lot of visitors." He smiled. "Are you all alright."

Meanwhile, Akhom stood with Caoimhin and yawned loudly. "So what's on the agenda?" He said as he stretched.

[Fallen Hero]

"Firstly...check if there are anymore opponents within the base...more fighting for you then to keep you from boredom." Caoimhin answered to Akhom. "And after that, we meet up with Zedren to discuss about you and young Joseph's situation. If we manage to do that without any problems for you then we can get something to eat because, to be honest, that fight with you and Altas earlier had drained me of my energy." Caoimhin grabbed Akhom's wrist and dragged him to the base.

Brandon dusted himself off and gave a thumbs up, inssuing he was okay. "That was too lucky to have this reinforcement to survive that kind of shaking. It might have at least brought down the second level storage on us." he said as he was then conked on the head with a loose peice of ceiling from the roof. "Ow." he noticed that the Valkiree's body was gone, but something was still there, the sword. "Hmm. Maybe we should research the power of our possible new enemy now." he got up and picked it up, and again getting conked on the head by ceiling. "Oh come on! That was just pure unluck!"

The silence was broken with a voice. "Actually, the second one was me." It then laughed. A figure then jumped down from the fractured ceiling and stood before all of them. He had intense clear blue eyes but an innocent smile on his face. "Hello again everyone." He said with a smile. The figure seemed to know them all, but they didn't recognize him at all. His long silver hair fell to his side with a graceful wisp. Some of it covered his tattoos on his shoulders. The tattoos on his chest and knees were still visible however. After an awkward pause he turned his head and called out, "Caoimhin .... I'm over here."

 

Meanwhile, Diabolico was speechless. He held a continual stunned look on his face. He didn't know whether to step forward to see if it was real ... or back away in fear.

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin followed Akhom, dropping down through the fractured ceiling, and landed next to him. "I've seen a lot of strange things in my life and there isn't much left I haven't seen, but seriously...all that fight and getting crushed by a large boulder hasn't affected your stamina and nimbleness? What the Zeus are you?!" Caoimhin shouted in frustration before he turned his attention to his surroundings. "Seems like the caves in Tartarus wasn't the only thing to crumble. So who was responsible for the mess this time?"

[galesonic]

Brandon got up and looked at Ahkom than looked at Caoimhin. "All I know os that it could possibly be from the Valkiree, Legion, or Nexev. But what I think is most likely is probably Ahkom, at least I think thats his name." he said as he took the of the defeated Valkiree, but he dropped it as he noticed he was shcked by it. "Man. First the Blade, now this." he then looked at Ahkom. "So, your the embodiment of the Genesis Blade that possesed Joe's body. How interesting."

Akhom put his hands up in front of him. "Woah, woah, buddy. don't blame me. I wasn't even here." He then looked around and smiled. "And truth be told, if I wrecked this place I would of done a lot better. Hey wait a second!" His face got a look of surprise and confusion on it. "How did you know who I was?" He thought for a moment and then regained his composure. He smiled a but and laughed. "The only way you could of known that is if you read the Demon Codex. Which means you have a library here, right?" Akhom smiled with a sly grin.

 

Zedren turned to Brandon with a curious look and said, "You certainly read a lot while you were in my private library." He patted him on the shoulder.

[The Warden]

Legion had left Izabel's room and was alone with his thoughts in the usual place. 'Still thinking about being blind to the Spirit?' Broodwing inquired. 'Indeed I am, he was purely spontaneous and unexpected. Fighting him would be provably difficult. But, given time and worthwhile observation, it whould be easy to find weaknesses in him and take him out' Legion replied. 'And if you don't?['i] Broodwing inquired. 'Then I will destroy him utterly. It's such a pity though. Those rangers, how pathetic. Joseph was the only strong one. They didn't even attempt to harm that woman. Tch, how sad....but I so wonder what is keeping Atlas from destroying the demon. Maybe it is time for my own intervention' Legion stated.

[Fallen Hero]

"Demon Codex?...YOU KNEW ABOUT AKHOM BEFORE ALL OF THIS HAPPENED AND YOU COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO TELL THE REST OF US?!...WE COULD HAVE STOPPED ALL OF THIS FROM HAPPENING...WE COULD OF SAVED YOUNG JOSEPH!" Caoimhin yelled furiously in frustration. "YOU GUYS ARE REALLY SHOWING JUST HOW INCOMPETENT THIS TEAM HAS BECOME!...NO WONDER WE ARE LOSING THIS BATTLE!" Caoimhin kicked a large piece of rubble that was near him before storming out of the medical room.

Akhom snickered a little. "Don't get your three headed puppy's in a bunch. I don't have that big of a chapter in it." He then batted his eyes and feigned an innocent look "I'm a very private guy you know." He couldn't control himself from laughing again. "He probably just noticed the symbols. And besides ... you guys couldn't possibly know who/what was in the Blade. When that thing was written, I was still running free. Long before I got put into that sword." There was a silence

 

"Sooooo ... how bout we get something to eat?"

[galesonic]

"I only read about what you were. It seems that you were presumed to be a mana sucker, much like a leech, but I found that to be quite false. You're more that just a simple leech." Brandon said as he picked up the sword on the ground, which stopped shocking him. "You seem more like a parasite, if you ask me. But I still don't see why you have to be sealed within the Genesis Blade and cause Joseph to die like that!."

[DNovaKnight]

"Wait a second." Akhom stated. "mana leech? That wasn't in the Demon Codex."

 

Diabolico stepped forward. "It had been updated after your imprisonment. You actually have a pretty decent chapter dedicated to you. In the forbidden section."

 

Akhom looked surprised. "Diabolico. You're still around? Hmm ... funny. I had a fond memory of you, but i figured it was my old one. Never thought you were still around. I guess Joe had a pretty fond memory of you two." Akhom smiled, but Diabolico looked hesitant. Akhom continued "And don't worry, I don't blame you for what happened."

 

Diabolico relaxed a little. "But anyway yes, after your imprisonment there was an addition to the codex. Not a lot. Mainly it was to add new demons to the list, erase others ... and well ... talk about you."

 

Akhom shrugged. "I never knew I got a book deal." He laughed

 

"I've managed to translate most of it" Diabolico continued. "But some is still lost. It was all I could recover when I left Queen Banshira in the Netherworld."

 

Akhom perked up, "Wait, she's imprisoned too. For good."He got even happier and started jumping up and down. He jumped into Sean's arms and kissed him on the cheek. "You have no idea how happy that makes me."

 

Sean rolled his eyes and responded in a calm sarcastic voice "And you have no idea how awkward this makes me feel." He then opened his arms and Akhom fell flat on the floor. "Now then." Sean dusted some of the remaining dirt from his shoulders. "I'm guessing you and her had a history."

 

Akhom looked a little disgusted. "Please don't say that. It makes it sound like I dated her. GOD NO." He recomposed himself "But yah, she was a major pain in the butt. She was one of the ones who made me get imprisoned. But that's a story for another time.

 

He then looked very serious again. He looked at Brandon. "What else was in that book? Or rather ... can you take me to it?"

[galesonic]

"Well, since it wasn't translated fully, due to what Diabolico said. I managed to get the broken translation. It was written that you had two abilities: Death Touch and Genesis Reign. All of which was ranked one of the highest, being beaten by Deos, and Loki, though they are very close to beating Loki. A random fact about you is that you weren't classified as a mana leech until you actually got sealed into the Genesis Blade." Brandon fully explained. "I can remember fully from what I read or see. Its a skill I've had since I first got scouted as a Sigma Ranger in my time." he then pointed to his head. "And Queen Banshira does have something to do with your classification too."

Diabolico stepped forward, "I think i should point out that the Deos referenced in the book is actually my father, Deaboros. Not the corruption of nature we are currently facing. But as far as the other things, yah. They're pretty accurate. In fact the whole death touch ability is why no one ever shook you hand." Diabolico smirked a bit as he slowly took a step back.

 

Akhom noticed this and smirked as well.

 

Diabolico then continued, "As far as you being close to Loki, that was more propoganda than anything else. Queen Banshira didn't want any of his followers joining up with you. Though I'm sure he could certainly see those abilities of yours as a threat."

 

Akhom smiled again, "So Loki is around huh? I've always wanted to meet that guy." He folded his arms and raised his head in a sort of day-dream manner. "And as far as beating him ..." He looked at the group again with a devious look "... it depends where I fight him."

[Fallen Hero]

Caoimhin walked back into the room in a more calmer mood. "I'm sorry for the outburst earlier. I should not of acted like that to you all" he apologized to the group as best he could. "I overheard you talking about some death touch Akhom has but I never encountered it before when I shook hands with him so why am I not dead. Akhom...you could have used that to get rid of me. Is there a reason for why you didn't make use of such a fatal ability on me?"

 

Caoimhin stopped as his stomach growled. "You can tell me later. I just need to know where I can get something to eat first. The kitchen is a complete wreck and I think there's a gas leak coming from somewhere as well."

Akhom looked at Caoimhin deviously. "And who's to say I didn't use the death touch on you." He let a moment pass by. He then smirked and waved his hand. "Relax, relax I didn't. And as far as why I didn't ..." suddenly his stomach growled. "Actually, let's get some food first. I'll tell you afterward."

 

Zedren laughed a little. "The attention span of a hummingbird it seems." Akhom joined him in laughing. Zedren then continued, "Yes, Caoimhin. Some of the gas lines were ruptured, but luckily none were ignited. We have a crew on it at the moment. As far as food goes ... how bout I order a few pizzas. How does that sound to everyone."

 

Sean nodded, "Until the kitchen is fixed, takeout seems like a good action. After all" he looked at Akhom. "I think some of us might stand out."

 

Ecliptor nudged Sean in a friendly manner "We could always say he's with the circus." They shared a good laugh.

[Fallen Hero]

"I'll stay here with Akhom till the food arrives." Caoimhin said to the group. "I wouldn't worry about him being any trouble anyway, we make a deal with each other and in exchange for him being co-operative, we'll try to give Akhom his own body as well as get young Joseph back." Caoimhin informed Zedren to unnerve him in case he thought something could happen in the near future. "Besides...if we have to go with you all...we could say we were in a rush after doing a greek tragedy play or something."

[DNovaKnight]

"Or say he's the new member of Van Halen." Zedren laughed again, with Ecliptor and Diabolico as well. "But of course."

 

Ecliptor then bowed to the group, "Well i must be off. I have to keep an eye on something." Ecliptor then returned to the beach to watch after the blade Dom had stuck in the stone.

 

Zedren then turned to Diabolico. "I want you to go to my library and get the Demon Codex. I want you to finish translating it and enter in any of your memories of Akhom as side notes. Also, i want all of Joseph's files. Pre-Genesis Blade, while he had it, and when he was sick. As well as the blood from our first meeting with the altered Joseph." Diabolico saluted Zedren and then left immediately towards Zedren's personal library for the task at hand. "And I want it all on my desk by time we get back." Zedren shouted after him.

 

Zedren then turned to Caoimhin and Akhom, "We'll be back soon. Don't get into too much trouble." He then turned to Brandon and Sean, "You two coming?"

 

Sean nodded and joined Zedren and Andros as they left.
