Brandon managed to dodge the first attack from the Vexking with some ease, but as he recovered, he was hit by Nexev's uppercut hard. As he was in the air, he recovered quickly and got a hold of his morpher. "HERE WE GO!" a bright light surrounded him as he transformed into his ranger transformation. He looked at Nexev and got into his fighting stance. "So this is your design? My compliments. It works great, better than my old one. Lets see how this works against its creator." he said as he disappeared and reappeared infront of Nexev to send a force-induced punch. (Roll: 14+2=16)

Caoimhin blocked the green one's attack but quickly felt pain in his back from Silver Vexking's strike. "What are these creatures? They aren't the mindless warriors I expected." he thought to himself. Caoimhin swung his left arm at the Green Vexking in the chest, the rings around his arm created a percussion force as it hit, and pushed it a few meters away. Caoimhin immediately turned 180 degrees and punched the Silver Vexking in the face with his right arm with the percussion force adding more power into the strike.

The silver vexking flew backwards a few feet and hit the ground. It struggled for a moment but then got back on its feet and took a fighters stance. The green vexking on the other hand went flying through one of the pillars. It landed on the ground and remained still.

Suddenly, the percussion force caused by the gauntlets, as well as the broken pillar caused part of the ceiling to start to collapse. Rubble of varying sizes rained down upon all of them. Akhom stayed paralyzed with eyes wide open on the ground. A large stalactite cracked and fell off the ceiling and directly onto the motionless body.

Back in the lab, Ecliptor and Diabolico were distracted by Nexev's attack. The gold Vexking took chance to grab both of them by the throats and slam them into the wall.

All Caoimhin could do was stare in fear as the stalactite fell onto Akhom. "I...I've killed him...and young Joseph's chance to be alive again..." Caoimhin cautiously made his way over to Akhom, dodging any falling rubble in his path as well as watching out for the vexkings in case they attack. "What will the others say if they knew what has happened?...How are we going to tell Izabel about this?...Please be alive." Caoimhin whispered to himself as he was only a few steps away from the incident.

As the rumbling subsided slightly, all was quiet in Tartarus. The silver Vexking was making his way out of the rubble as the green one still lay on the ground.

After a moment or so, there was an additional rumble. Was it an aftershock? As Caoimhin looked around, he saw the fallen stalactite begin to shake. A large vertical crack formed through its center. Suddenly there was an eruption of golden light, so strong it almost vaporized the rock fragments from the shattering stalactite. Among all this debris, the shadow of a figure could be seen leaping from the rubble in the air.

In Vile's lair, Atlas gave Vile a bad look. "What is it?" Vile asked impatiently

Atlas sighed ".... It's happened. What I feared."

------------

In Loki's hideout, they both seemed to be alerted by something. They looked at each other with enjoyment.

"Finally, the radical agent has appeared." Loptr said as he refilled his glass

-------------

As the golden light faded, the shadow of the figure landed in front of Caoimhin; however, what he saw confused him.

'Maybe you should do something, considering what is happening here. That she-devil over there is making herself out as a great target for a behind attack' Broodwing suggested. 'I suppose I should do something, the rangers aren't exactly fairing well against these beasts' Legion replied and vanished. It was an odd vanish, as his appearance shifted to the left and was gone. He reappeared behind the Valkeerie and raised his right hand. It had become a massive claw with sharp fingers for piercing armour. He silently brought his arm back and then thrusted forward. His hand pierced through the lower torso of Valkeerie. He removed it quickly, and then impaled her chest before the body could fall. (Roll: 17)

In the medical bay, the Valkeerie screamed in pain as she backed up a few steps. Immediately, the 3 Vexkings in the room stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to Legion. The black and gold ones jumped in front of the Valkeerie. The purple one was moving very slowly until finally it disappeared into ashes.

The figure looked at him intensely with his clear blue eyes. This was an expression Caoimhin had only seen Joe use. The figure then smirked a sarcastic smile. "If I said I was Joe, would you even believe me?" The voice was Akom's. He then took a fighter stance, the exact same Joe always used, although his body was turned more forward than Joe's usual horse-stance. Did this difference mean anything? "Consider this a rematch for our first fight. The one we had back on the Island of Creation."

Off to the side, the silver Vexking also slowed down and turned to ash.

Legion raised both his hands, his fingers morphed into long thin blades, he tested them by moving up and down, they were quite disturbing. 'This will not end well for you' he warned and vanished. He reappeared behind one of the Vekings and shifted again before reappearing next to Brandon, before shifting again. His constant shifting began to get faster and more erratic. He finally appeared in front of the Valkeerie without her Vexking guards being in the way. Quickly, he raised his sickle-like fingers and slashed downwards, in an attempt to cut her like cheese. (Roll: 10)

"If that is the case then let's make the rematch more fair like the first time." Caoimhin smirked as he demorphed. "Guess this we be just hand-to-hand combat for us. I hope you don't disappoint me this time." Caoimhin leapt up into the air and kicked Joe(?) in the chest. "I'm not sure who you are exactly but no doubt it will become more clear during this fight."

The Valkeerie had managed to dodge to the side. Her dexterity was incredible; however, not good enough. The claw severed her entire left arm. She cried out in pain again. She hobbled to try to the black vexking, but as she rested herself on it ... it vanished into ash. She fell to the ground and tried to crawl away, to plead for mercy. She was a powerful warrior, but compared to Legion ... she fell far to short.

In Tartarus, the figure stood there as Caoimhin approached at full speed. As the kick was about to connect, he missed. Caoimihn flew right through him. When Caoimhin turned around to see what happened, the figure was still standing there. He played with a strand of his hair. "Fair?" He questioned "You should of stayed morphed then. That might have been more fun."

"How are you able to do that?" asked Caoimhin. "I'm guessing that was one of your many talents, Akhom. Is that how you could defeat your opponents?...by becoming intangible so the attacks go through and kill them once they are exhausted. Typical of enemies such as yourself." Caoimhin said to Akhom, mumbling the last sentence in disgust. "And don't worry about it not being fair while I'm not the Hades ranger. In this form I'm more agile and flexible."

The figure still had his back turned to Caoimhin and then began to laugh. "Intangible? hahaha That's too rich. Yes, you're fighting a ghost." he continued to laugh. "I have many talents, but intangibility isn't one of them. Although - there are two alternatives to that hypothesis. One of which is one of my powers." He paused and turned around to face Caoimhin. "For my next trick ... your next attack will end with me standing on your face. Oh, and I won't use my hands."

Legion looked cruelly at tha Valkeerie, his hand returning to normal. He walked over to her and knelt down, looking her dead in the eye. He could see her fear, he enjoyed that. he rraised himself up and grabbed the top of her head, raising her up to his height. He began to squeeze hard, ignoring her screams. The pressure began to build until finally....SMASH! (Roll: 14). He had crushed her skull; her body was now silenced and limp. He casually tossed it aside whilst he shook off any fluids that may have leaked onto his hand. 'Such a pity, I would have thought Loptr would have come up with something hardier than a frail woman to lead to his forces, maybe next time' he sighed.

Caoimhin wondered if Akhom was being overly confident in his abilities. He may have become stronger but not even he can be that certain that he could defeat Caoimhin so easily. "What if I don't attack you then? At least then you won't be able to react to my movements and counteract whatever I was doing?" Caoimhin replied to Akhom. "I can stand here for eternity till you drop your guard."

As Caoimhin was saying that, the green Vexking that had appeared to be knocked out lunged at him (Caoimhin) with both of it's claws. (Roll: 6)

As the Valkeerie fell, the remaining gold stalker was still fighting Ecliptor and Diabolico. As the beast slowed, Ecliptor thrust his saber into the beast. As he removed it, fine ash fell from the wound. The decay spread until finally the beast fell apart completely. He looked at Diabolico and said, "i hate it when they fall to pieces on me."

Caoimhin sensed the Vexking heading towards him and instantly retaliated as turned around and grabbed the Vexking's wrist. Caoimhin rolled on to his back and kicked the Vexking in the abdomen with both feet, propelling him towards Akhom. "That should distract Akhom for a while while." Caoimhin quietly said to himself.

As Caoimhin got back on his feet, he saw the Vexking go flying off and then burst into ash. As the ash dissipated, Caoimihn notice that the figure was gone. He looked all around, but couldn't find him. Just then he heard a familiar voice go "Pst ... up here guardian." As Caoimhin looked up, he saw the figure was standing on top of his head. "You see ... I didn't say your next attack against me ... just you next attack in general." How could he be doing this. Caoimhin didn't feel it at all. There was no weight being transferred. "Pretty impressive trick huh?" the figure said.

He then somersaulted off Caoimhin's head. He flew through the air so fluidly. He finally landed 30 feet away and started walking towards Caoimhin. However ... he wasn't going anywhere. He was definitely taking steps, but he wasn't progressing. Maybe he was walking in place, but what's the purpose of that. Just then Caoimhin noticed something different. This being wasn't walking on the ground, but rather ... on the air. He was showing off. After a few more steps, he took a fighter's stance again and smiled. "What else would you like to test me with?"

"How about showing me that you can be an honourable warrior and fight me without seeing that wimpy ghost trick you're showing off with." Caoimhin said in frustration as he knew could do no damage to Akhom right now. Caoimhin ran at him and through a punch at Akhom, instantly feeling his right fist go through Akhom's body. "Flames of Hades!" Caoimhin quickly shouted as fire erupted around his right arm. If physical attacks don't work then maybe magic was the answer.

"I'm NOT a ghost." He screamed loudly. As he did he was engulfed in flames. The flames seemed to wrap around him into a spherical shape. Suddenly the flames die down and he was unharmed. "You don't get it do you. To you it may look as though I can become transparent, but I assure you I'm very real. I'm just faster. Well not really faster. Just craftier. You see it's actually called ..." He jumped up in the air and disappeared.

He then reappeared in the air to the right of Caoimhin "... close quarters teleportation."

"Oh and for the record, technically this isn't flying. What this is actually has to do with how your flames didn't affect me either." This being had no remorse about explaining his abilities.

"Close quarters teleportation, huh? I think i'm getting an idea of what's going on now. I guess I just need to figure out your movements and the pattern of it to be able to strike you." Caoimhin wondered to himself, making it sound easier than it would be...if he thought of the right strategy against his foe. Caoimhin suddenly remembered something and began chuckling to himself. "Guess he was kinda right, what he told me."

He took a meditative pose with his legs folded ad he floated in mid air. "Hey, you're learning. But you still haven't figured out why I'm able to fly ... or my third ability yet." He reminded Caoimhin. He then perked up as if an idea hit him. "Oh yah, can you take us back to the other dimension now. I want more people to play with." He then scratched his head and looked up "Well I mean ... not to say you're not fun. I just don't want to have to go through my explanations with everyone. You know I'm a busy guy." He laughed a bit. "Truth be told, I have no idea what to do ... but i feel I should be doing a lot." He continued to laugh a bit

Back in the lab, with the disappearance of the Vexkings and Valkeeries. Ecliptor and Diabolico walked over towards Sean and Brandon. "You're out numbered Nexev, leave here now."

Legion didn't make a noise as he backed up to a wall his form melting into it and vanishing.

He reappeared walking out of Izabel's mirror. 'Things have quietened down now, however, it appears not everything is right' he reported. 'Despite Loki's forces adding weak monsters to their ranks what became of Joseph troubles me. I felt it before when we were both there and removed you from harms way. The Genesis Blade has taken his body over, assimilating it for its own uses. It now calls itself 'Akhom' he added. He dipped his head down. 'I want to know now, do you wish to stay here? If you go back, there won't be a Joseph to greet you. But if you stay here, there won't be a Joseph to save you either'.

Caoimhin faced Akhom. "I'll take you back to Earth after i've finished trying out one more strategy against you. I promise that you'll go back to that planet once I know the plan has failed." Caoimhin told Akhom. Caoimhin morphed to his ranger form and slowly walked over a pillar of rock that was supporting the cave's structure. "The flying thing you do is that bothersome to me but your teleportation ability does. I just need to limit the space you have to teleport and make it easier to attack you." Caoimhin punched the rock, sending it crashing down to the ground. More rubble of varying sizes began to fall as the cave was becoming unstable.

Nexev sighed, "Nah, see I still have the edge. Because I can do whatever I want and you can't do s*** to against me. See, I designed Brandon's doohickey suit. Unfortunatly for you guys I didn't finish designing the thing yet. Therefore if you incapacitate me in any long term way or kill me I would be unable to finish the design and thus Brandon will ceize to exist in this timeline, no doubt having to face whatever hell he attempted to escape from completly unaided. Plus I need to see how good you are, and so far all you showed me is that Smokey is stronger then you. That's great and all but all that means is that your going to die really fast, I have to hurry if I don't want Vile to killsteal." Nexev thought for a second. "Actually, I need to get rid of an a******, so I'll actually follow your silly order. But first..." With that said Nexev snapped his fingers, the energy building throughout the area thanks to Cross was condenced into a bright blinding beam of energy that ripped through the base. (Roll:16 to doge, roll:25 for damage to any hit and surronding area).

"Now bye." With a wave, Nexev teleported away from the desolation.
