Joe raised an eyebrow under his helmet. "Ok? So ... why are you here now? If you're trying to get a job at being a commentator than i suggest radio. You seem to have more of the face for it." Joe smirked. "By the way, where have your brothers been. Haven't heard from them in a while. For someone who's mission was to deal with Deos, we see more of you than the one 'appointed' to deal with us. Vile really needs to cut his payroll."

Meanwhile Zedren radio'd Joe, "Joe. We've successfully isolated Sean's power correspondant from the others on the grid. It'll begin to shut down now, thus making him weaker."

"We just gonna stand here and talk or are we gonna do something about Sean and his lust for power?" groaned Caoimhin, holding his chest in pain. "Plus, I really hope you've got a medical ward back at the base, Joseph. I may have slight bit of god genetics in me but that ain't enough for me to heal quickly." Caoimhin turned to Nexev. "I guess thanking you should be the polite thing to do...so...thanks."

Caoimhin looked over to Legion. "Tell Atlas i'll be ready to defeat him next time we meet and i'll make sure that he'll never escape from Tartarus again then leave him to suffer eternal damnation till end of time like the gods should have done the first time."

"Oh please, your boss was a rapist, I really think the Greek Pantheon isn't in the position to judge warcrimes. The only decent god was Hades, plus if you recall it was the torture that got him brainwashed in the first place. Keep it up and he would just be a puppet for the monster of the week to take control of." Nexev said with a sigh. "Anyway your welcome but let's wait a bit so Sean would be demorphed and we can just look him. Shame Legion, you couldn't keep up your deal. What kindof buisnessman are you?" Nexev smiled. He then walked to Ralis "You okay? the kitty seemed to go crazy on you. Do you have a mouse in your pocket or something?" Nexev said with a chuckle.

Sean didn't feel his powers shutting down. In fact, he didn't feel any weaker. He was actually getting stronger every second. "Hm, my powers no longer come from the Morphing Grid, it comes from the power of darkness!" Sean then made another wave of darkness that hit everybody but Legion and Ralis. "Now then..." Sean then walked up to Ralis. "It's time to put an end to your existence once and for all!" Then, as soon as Sean was about to stab Ralis, something in him was fighting back. Sean was struggling, trying to make the final blow, but then...

Then, all of a sudden, Sean began to see memories, memories of his battles together, and the memory of his signing of the contract. The darkness was fading as Sean turned around and fell to his knees and demorphed. He was panting until he screamed, releasing the darkness that had possessed him. Sean then clenched his right fist. He stood up and pointed at Legion. "You...I will never serve you again!" Sean could not believe that Legion had somehow possessed him. He still wasn't sure how, but he knew it was him.

Nexev glared at Sean and turned into ranger form. As he marched up to him, he was different this time, no giggling, no laughter, just menance. "Oh please, don't f*** with me, you try to murder my friend, bullshit about having some super power from such a pansy thing like darkness? Darkness protects people from the harshness of reality, it's a healer and a protecter, a monster like you doesn't deserve a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the prestige and honor of being it's vassal. You know what you are, a snivling coward mouse who lived on a lion. The little lion of your magical shiny powers made you feel big and you felt fit to bully people, but not the good guys, cause then you'd get eaten by the much bigger beasts of justice, then a elephant came along, and you were sad cause you weren't so big, so you got a little spider to make you a much bigger lion at the cost of your loyalty to the rest of the savannah. Well guess what mousy, it's poaching season, I don't care if your powers come from God himself, you will die, and Satan will be able to conduct his almighty justice upon your soul." Nexev grabbed Sean by the throat and lifted him (roll 20) holding his claw with the attempt of stabbing Sean and ending his life there. "Au revoir, cretain..."

OOC: You might want to interupt him.

Dominic's little trip into the past was everything but a trip.

He had hoped to land where he wanted to land, but missed pretty terribly. It's kind of like archery, you aim and shoot to the bullseye but miss the entire board by 5 feet. When his eyes first opened, there was nothing but darkness. Dominic floated eerily in the middle of just darkness. Pitch black and unable to see anything, even with his rather powerful control over the thing. He felt almost powerless, as if he had no control. Not darkness, not even his body. It was almost like he was simply floating in a void, a chasm in time. This is when he started worrying.

But then, there was light.

At first it was a mere sparkle in the black, a whisper of light.

Then it expanded, and expanded, and expanded. What was once a mere speck was now a whirlpool of light. Growing, consuming. The center was... He couldn't believe it. At first he thought it was some form of deity, but the figure didn't seem like it was from Valhalla. No, a large noodley appendage extended towards Dom, and he reached for it.

Then bam, a time change.

------

Dom blinked once, then shifted his position in the sand. The sun's glare was not friendly, and what had just happened had shocked him forward in time almost. He couldn't believe it, he DIDN'T WANT to believe it. Yet it was true. He sat up, taking a quick look at his morpher. The jet black device was seemingly broken, or at least it appeared it was. This could be from his time warping, which would not be a good sign. Dominic sighed to himself and got up. He was apparently on a beach, something which disturbed him greatly considering he was right next to the ocean. That was never fun. In front of him a large jungle loomed, if he was right, and he was sure about that; this only meant one thing.

It was time to fist punch a T-Rex.

Awww yeah.

Legion was quiet for a moment. 'Spider?' he finally asked, regarding himself, but sighed. 'Dear me, it was going to be such a good plan as well. But not everything works in the end. I guess I'll have to try harder this time' Legion added as his shadows raced out and grabbed Sean and Nexev by their helmets, raising them into the air and gripping down, hard. He drew Sean in closer, the shadow moving down to his throat as a fail-safe. 'It seems you felt it fit to betray my little deal, now I shall see it fit to hold up my end of the bargain, however' Legion cut-off, looking at Nexev. 'I'll leave you in agony, riddled with guilt and at the mercy of the people you were going to betray. I will choose when I destroy your destiny as a power ranger, until then, I will leave you at the mercy of the hunters' Legion said and dropped the both of them. Before he left, Legion looked upon Joe. 'Your girlfriend is a lousy kisser by the way' he said and vanished into shadows.

Nexev fell to the floor when he was dropped and quickly got up. "Ha, me a traitor. He should look in the mirror, give him a few weeks, he's struggling with something, he just doesn't realize it. Stupid Fate sister ripoff." Nexev muttered, his pseudo aura of malice gone. "Well it was fun while it lasted, but he's being confusing. Ralis has yet to really be defeated, nor are there any hunters here. I can probbaly find a way to kill most people here anyway. Right about the guilt though." Nexev went over and kicked Sean halfheartedly "Looks like the spider left mousey, let me assure you, the lions won't carry you to the cheese anytime soon. Nice meeting you guys, look like I was right about us allying huh? Strange things happen. Hm... maybe if I get a mouse zord....." Nexev traied off, demorphing and taking out his notebook to draw some more designs.

Legion was sitting wihtin his void, haaving just returned to it. 'Pity about your ingenius little plan, though it's funny. Most of the villains from my time would be stomping and screaming their heads off, blming he underlings for their failure. Lord Zedd really took to that ideal' Broodwing commented. 'It doesn't matter in any case; should one plan falter another plan may succeed. Success and failure should be balanced out. Sean was a loose wire to begin with. It's interesting how demented he got, but I figure it has got to do with some influence on him from Gargantia. Although, he should be on his last legs by now' Legion replied.

"Why do I have to fight the one that's psychotic? I could have had Black, Shinier Black, Death Guy or even the girl! But nooo.... Loki decided that he wanted me to mock somebody, the only one that I don't like a bit!" Ralis toke several deep breaths and pushed himself up, he felt like such a mess, he was supposed to be a badass! The one that toke down the rangers with his compatriots! Now was his chance though, to save everyone, to make sure that Nexev's universe would never come to light! Ralis pulled out his blades and approached his counterpart, preparing to lower them.

"GAH!" The eye in the center of Ralis' chest began glowing a bright red. Suddenly a unbearable pain rushed through his body, he fell to his knees, grasping his eye, attempting to pull out the flashing pupil. "....Oh god damn it" Ralis bit his lips and let out a bright green light, teleporting him away from the battle.

Nexev stared for a second where Ralis used to stand. "Okay, I'll admit it. That took me by suprise. So yeah, I'll go see what's happening, don't die yet. We'll have a picnic on Friday, I'll invite some friends, great training fun, lock up Sean with no food or water. See ya!" With a wave Nexev sunk to the earth, following Ralis to wherever he went. "I wonder what's wrong with Ralis, he seems allot more relaxed then when he was first made. My little partner in crime grew up so fast. You promised yourself you wouldn't cry Nexev. Why am I doing a soliloquy anyway?" Nexev asked himself as he moved closer and closer to Ralis's location.

"GOD DAMN IT!" Ralis proceeded to tear at his armor, the pain, the horrible pain, he had promised Loki he would be good, why was he doing this now? Was he trying to keep him from destroying the only thing that he hated in this world? Maybe he wanted him to kill the other rangers? Punish him for thinking about any thought about disobeying him? He didn't care he just wanted this thing off of him! Quickly Ralis continued to teleport to random locations in a attempt to throw off the pain, Must... keep thinking... can't be defeated by PAIN!

He stopped his movement, maybe Nexev had heard him, yes maybe he was coming to find him, get the suit off of him...... stop the pain. He forced himself to the ground, twitching as the eye in his chest grew more and more brightly. Hurry up mate.

Nexev teleported to Ralis and whistled "That's gotta hurt, what happened? Did you overload or something. I'd love to fix it, but I'm not sure you have a form to demorph to." Nexev sat, thought for a second. "I'm going to regret this but hey, I regret allot." Nexev pulled out his cross and morphed into ranger form, with an incantation a ghostly hand appeared from the cross and grabbed Ralis. The hand then disappeared and streams of energy shot out at Nexev like arrows as he collapsed to the floor, half laughing, half crying. Nexev giggled a bit, tears streaming from his eyes. "That was a number, I don't intend to Steal someone's Agony for a long time after this." Nexev laughed than screamed as a wave of pain ripped through his body. "I've faced worse trust me. I'll be fine, find whatever was hurting you and fix it though before it happens again." Nexev said as he was struck again by the blistering pain.

While Nexev took on the mysterious agony plaguing Ralis, moments earlier, there was no one capable of taking on Gargantia's. He stuck to the wall with the tremendous arrow stuck 10 feet into the wall behind him. He struggled to remove the arrow, but even if he had enough strength to do so, everytime he touched the arrow it shocked him with huge streams of energy. MeteorKnight chuckeled, "Impressive, isn't it. That's what the Purple Ranger's powers would be like ... if she ever learned how to refine it. But much like you, she won't live to see that day. My brother GriffEnd will see to that."

Gargantia struggled like a wounded animal, crying out in pain with each passing second. "You .... you ... I hate you. Why. Why can't I kill you. Why can't I do it."

"It's because you're insufficient to do the job." Just then, noticed how the previous wounds he had inflicted on Gargantia had mysteriously ... disappeared. "You sniveling animal you." MeteorKnight raised his hand and clenched it tightly, making the arrow burry deeper and expand. "You ... you had another Gargantile Seed out there didn't you. Didn't you." Gargantia didn't respond because he was too busy screaming in pain. "During this match ... you used those strikers to distract me, but whereas i thought you were using it to sneak-attack me, you were instead using it to control someone. Who." Gargantia still didn't answer "Who were you controlling be - " Just then MeteorKnight stopped. He was mentally contacting his brother Legion.

Legion reformed by Meteor Knight, and watched with smugness as the arrow embedded Gargantia to the wall. 'I may be able to shed some light on this mystery' Legion answered, whilst also shifting the shadows away from Gargantia, leaving him with no place to run. 'It appears he was using his seed on his old friend Sean, the Emerald Panther ranger. Above ground, there was a fight between him and the other Emerald ranger, the Elephant ranger. I saw it myself when he was taken by dark energy, and I now understand who he was refering to when he said that 'you.....I will never serve you again' whilst fighting off his 'dark possession' Legion explained; he let loose a soulless laugh at watching Gargantia struggle with the arrow. He stopped quickly and faced the creature. 'Gargantia, you are a waste of space as of now. Sean has been sedated, and you, expendable' he said to the helpless demon and merely nodded at Meteor Knight. 'You may have the honours' he said and took a step back.

MeteorKnight nodded to his brother. He laughed a bit to himself before facing Gargantia again. "You're pathetic, brilliant, but pathetic." He released his grip and the arrow disappeared, causing Gargantia to sink to the ground. "That original fight of yours. When you tried to steal the original panther powers, but were defeated by his new powers. You implanted one of your demon seeds. Much like you did to Vent. I know of all your history, and all of your claims."

Gargantia still lay on his knees, caughing up what appeared to be blood, or whatever ran through his system. He lifted a claw and removed some of the residue. "Then you know that you can't kill me. I'm basically a God. Your master sent you to do the impossible." He said with a smug face.

MeteorKnight merely stared Gargantia down. what a pitiful sight. "I do not believe in things such as gods. At least not the one's me and my brothers have seen." Obviously referring to those of which Atlas spoke, as well as the Norse gods. "If they can be killed or tricked, i see them as no such thing. But I do not wish to speak of that which i know very little of. Perhaps there are Gods, whether it be them or not. All i know is ... you are no such thing. Those beings, true Gods or not, conduct themselves with some form of rules, no matter how depraved. You ... you're a miserable creature. I could kill you right now - but a swift death doesn't suit you. I will administer a different punishment."

MeteorKight raised his hand again as 7 spherical balls appeared around Gargantia. They glowed brighter and brighter, until finally the began to shock Gargantia with tremendous pain. "This is the Cursed Seal, a curse that is of the highest caliber. It uses one's own power as a binding element." An emerald circle formed around Gargantia, as it did, the remaining panther powers were sucked out of MeteorKnight.

--------

Meanwhile, back above ground .... the Emerald Powers were as well sucked out of Sean. The other rangers looked on as their prior comrade lost his powers to an unknown source. His morpher turned gray and then faded away into dust.

--------

Back where Nexev and Ralis stood, Ralis felt a slight tingle, but nothing else happened. He seemed confused for a moment but then he got a telepathic message from Loki. "The other Emerald Ranger is currently being drained of his powers. You won't be affected because i used my own powers on the Elephant idol, not the original emerald ones. You are safe." He then snickered a bit, as if he knew of the pain Ralis had just experienced.

---------

Back underground, the circle of power was complete, and in began to shrink around Gargantia. He cried out, "I don't care. That's fine. You're powers will be locked away with me as well. I beat you, I win."

MeteorKnight and Legion exchanged a quick glance. "Are you serious? Remember ... i'm a multitiered being. I have my own powers , as well as those i absorb. The curse merely only tastes a power, and then drains it from all other sources. It's the only way to make sure the one who invokes the curse forfeits all of that power. The loophole of course is someone who has various powers on different wavelengths." He paused to let it sink in. "Thus why Vile taught me alone to use it. I'm the perfect candidate."

Gargantia screamed out in pain again, as the ring continued to shrink smaller and smaller. There was no bright side to this. He couldn't even take comfort in the fact that his enemy would be dragged down with him ... he then thought of Sean. Yes ... he had at least out smarted him, but before he could find any comfort in that, MeteorKnight broke his concentration. "If anything ... you could say Sean beat you. You and a set of powers will be locked away ... just like what happened to you eons ago. And whereas you are both powerless - him for losing his, and you for not being strong enough for it to matter - and alive. You will be stuck in this seal, for all eternity. This curse won't kill you ... but you'd wish it would. It'll push your sensory system to it's limits. Making you feel the most amount of pain possible, just short of killing you. Making each second feel like an eternity of torment."

Gagantia let out one final scream before disappearing completely, as the ring compressed him to smaller than the size of an atom. Was he still in this dimension, or another. Where he was now .... no one knew, nor wanted, nor cared.

There was a low laugh from Legion before he tipped his head back and unleashed an epic villain level laugh. 'Outstanding, naturally my brother should never fail to dissapoint, how could I have expected less?' he said with unusual glee. He composed himseld and regarded the area where Gargantia used to be. 'Destroy any access to this area, no one needs to know what has occured here' he ordered and broke away into the shadow. Returning to his void for respite.

MeteorKight nodded at where his brother disappeared. He then floated back down the cave system and through the water tunnels as he had before. As he did, he slashed any support beams that were keeping the ceiling from falling. He left the cave system, never to return, nor anyone else. The ceiling collapse completely filled the tunnels, leaving no trace or word. No one knew what had happened here today, except for Legion and MeteorKnight.

-------

Back above ground the rangers carried Sean to base. They wanted an explanation, but they still didn't want to take chances. They put him in a make-shift jail cell until they could be sure he was back to normal.

Joe finally got to speak with Zedren about Dom's plan, and Zedren agreed to keep it quiet and have Ecliptor and Diabolico exchange shifts. Zedren also explained how Kent had gone to try to get some new recruits, but Star would be back soon to aid them. For the time being, the ranger force would consist of Caoimhin and Joe solely. But whether he would reveal them or not, Zedren had plans to not only help this situation .... but also to teach the Tetrarchs a lesson.

He then got some supplies and went to help Caoimhin heal. His wounds were pretty bad, but with a little help he recovered quickly. He would of made the record books for healing from a broken rib in under 3 days - or it could of been the fact that he was more resilient than your average mortal. As Joe walked back to his room, he again got that energy back fire in his arm - though substantially less than before. Still, he was stressed. He cringed momentarily from it and fell to his knees. 'This isn't good' he thought. 'This has been going on for a few days now, and I've tried to keep it secret, but the pain is getting worse. And now ... now it's starting to happen even without the blade in my hand. What's wrong with me." He got up and checked to make sure no one saw, he then continued on to his room.

But someone did see - Izabel. Thanks to that viewing mirror from Legion, she saw all the turmoil the ranger team was under. How they had lost even more people. How that brave man Caoimhin, whom she thought to be unstoppable, could also bleed. And to know that Joe was in trouble - and neither her nor Auric couldn't do anything.

Izabel wasn't the only to see Joe's plight. After Joe had gotten up and walked away, Tommy came out behind him. He had been around the corner in his wheelchair when Joe had fallen. He hid and had seen the whole thing. He thought of what he had just seen from Joe, and then thought about what he felt like. Something was very wrong - with both of them. But what.

Episode 4: The Once and Future Hero

A loud laugh was heard resonating from Vile’s lair. “Yes. Be-e-eautiful. Yes. MeteorKnight my boy you’ve made me so proud. You’ve managed to decimate not only Gargantia, but also rid us of another pesky ranger.” MeteorKnight simply nodded his head in thanks. Vile then turned to Atlas, who was entering. “Ahhh, another one of my favorites has returned to me. How goes things? Any more problems from Loki?”

Atlas turned to honor MeteorKnight’s accomplishment and then turned back to Vile. “Actually my lord. Things are getting quite interesting in that realm. Apparently one of Loki’s new recruits just found out about a little Catch 22 that his mater set up. I do not yet know the nature of this deceptive entrapment, but I shall continue to observe.”

“Excellent, excellent. But you seem preoccupied.” Vile questioned. “what is wrong my faithful servant.”

Atlas trembled for a second as if resisting something, and then knelt before Vile. “It is young Joseph. The ranger team may be falling in numbers, but that might not matter soon.” Vile seemed perturbed by this, and motioned for Atlas to go on. “The Genesis Blade, if he learns how to use it, will be a very serious problem. We must deal with this before it happens.”

“Well I’ve gone after young Joseph a few times in the past, so I don’t need that much convincing. But out of curiosity, why do you think he is close to unlocking it?” Vile asked

“Care to replay the previous battle?” Atlas requested of Vile. Vile nodded and waved his scepter causing an orb to appear and start showing the battle of the rangers against Sean. It then showed when Joe called the Genesis Blade and a suddenly grasped his arm and fell to the ground. He rewound it and watched it again, and again. “That is my cause for concern. After a while, the Genesis Blade will start to empower its wielder with tremendous powers. These discharges show that the power transfer is starting. And young Joseph is becoming one with the Blade; however, it is unclear who is the one in charge. The Blade’s power far exceeds what a human body can handle, thus why it is causing him pain.”

Vile listened intently, “That explains why a Triforian and that silly Hades Guardian were able to know it’s powers, their bodies were superior and able to handle it.” Atlas nodded in agreement, as Vile continued. “So … is it possible that the Blade may kill him and that’d be the end of our problems?”

Atlas sighed, “There is a very strong chance that a human spirit can’t handle it; however, in the slight chance he does survive – it could be catastrophic.”

“Well we certainly can’t let that happen. We’ll get back to that in a second”, Vile cut off as he saw a gray shadow move across the floor and begin to materialize. “Ahhh, Legion ... what about your quest?” His tone got a slight bit peeved. “Whereas your brothers have been very quick and efficient, you haven't. You've been spending more time with the rangers. Remember that is GriffEnds job. And ... you've as well been spending quite a lot of time with that girl. Care to explain.”

Legion was silent, his hood dipped in thought. “My lord, please understand this. I am merely observing their behavior, and learning what I can from the girl. I am merely conflicted at the moment; primarily from my annoyance at Deos. I cannot locate Deos as of yet. He is wily and to be honest, he will only reveal himself when he wants to. That is the nature of the purely chaotic.”

“Have faith my lord, my duty will be fulfilled in time. Until then, I will merely do what I can to hinder the ranger's progress against us whilst further pressuring them to locate Deos for me” he answered in a dead tone.

At this point, the winged silhouette of GriffEnd entered the room from behind Vile “Well remember”, Vile stated, “I've been making GriffEnd hold off his attacks to buy you a little time on this plan of yours, but after what Atlas has just revealed to me ... we can't afford the chance. If you still want to question the girl, go ahead. But as for young Joseph. This time we must eliminate him. Before the Genesis Blade complicates things.

Legion bowed curtiously. “If that is what you wish my lord, then I shall obey. GriffEND will do his duty and I shall do mine. However, try not to be too overconfident in GriffEND's ability” he stated.

“Are going to mentioned what Dominic is attempting. You can easily stop him, why not tell your master?” Broodwing inquired

“Because....I don't know honestly; maybe I want to see what will become of this” Legion replied mentally.

Responding to Legion's last words, GriffEnd stepped forward angrily. "What do you mean by that? Are you saying that my abilities aren't up to par?"

Legion turned his hood towards GriffEND. “Do not assume without evidence brother. The rangers are up to something, I can definitely see that. What it is I am currently blind to; too many possibilities to be certain' he answered.”

"You always say 'too many possibilities'. What good are you if you can't see the future, wasn't that your thing." GriffEnd said angrily. "Let's see if you can think about what I'll do next." Just then he launched himself at Legion with blinding speed, but stopped instantaneously. Two swords were stretched between himself and Legion. It was MeteorKnight’s and Atlas’s. "Calm yourself brother. Rage merely weakens your warrior skills” Atlas commanded.

And remember ... I'm the one that calculates battle tactics." MeteorKnight corrected Griffend . GriffEnd then backed off slightly, still with a little anger in his eyes towards Legion. He then turned back to Vile and bowed for forgiveness. Vile granted it

Legion remained wordless to this assault. “Just be on your guard GriffEND. As capable as you are, always be ready for suprises” he said after GriffEND backed off.

Vile silenced them all, “Alright then, these are your orders. Atlas, keep watch over Loki, see what he is up to as well as how he is tricking his rangers.” Atlas nodded and disappeared in a spark of lightning.

“MeteorKnight, for now rest yourself. I know you wish to continue on and find a worthy challenge, but for now just rest. I fell some disturbances, but I am not certain as of yet to the causes.” MeteorKnight nodded and floated ominously away into the deeper recesses of the lair.

“Legion, you may still observe the rangers if you wish, but first and foremost question the girl. Perhaps she can be turned to our side. And maybe get Joseph to join us” – he abruptly stopped that line of thought and thought of what Atlas warned about not taking chances. “On second though …. Just get info out of her and try to convert her. But that is all.” Legion remained quiet at this. He merely bowed to Vile’s request.

“GriffEnd, you’re back on call my friend. Go and entertain the rangers. Toy with them, or finish them all quickly. I don’t care. But your main objective is to kill young Joseph. At the moment the others don’t matter, just make sure when you leave him, he’s not breathing.” GriffEnd smirked with his beak and bowed before dashing out of Vile’s lair.

---------------------

Meanwhile, back at the Ranger base, Zedren sat in his office going through archives. Sean still sat in his cell. Zedren had wanted to give him some time to think things over. He was unaware of the situation with Gargantia, and feared a relapse on Sean’s part. He had to monitor him a bit.

Due to the dire situation of the lack of rangers, Zedren had begged Caoimhin to stay on base full time. He had even offered to give Caoimhin his own luxurious room. Caoimhin sat in silence and meditated upon the current situation.

At the other end of the base, Joe stayed in the zord habitat. It had obviously become much more roomy, and quiet. The zords hadn’t been used in quite some time. The Stego zord and Pegasus zord sat quietly in the corner of the forest area. The Cerberus zord has also relocated and was getting use to it’s new habitat. The Lio zord rested on the outskirts of the lake area, watching his master carefully.

Joe stood nearby swinging the Genesis Blade around. He was training. He was becoming more mobile with the sword and was learning new ways to use it. It truly was an impressive weapon. He then back flipped towards a large boulder and in the blink of an eye, slashed it in half. He landed perfectly and breathed a sigh of relief. “Looks as though everything’s back to normal”, he said to himself. He had spoken too soon. Just as he was preparing to go relax, a huge surge of energy shocked him, and made him fall to the ground in a deep sweat. He looked over at the Lio zord and it seemed concerned. This actually only made Joe even more scared. “ I’m writhing in pain, and you look perfectly normal”, Joe said to the massive zord. “This means that it’s not that there’s something wrong with my powers in general, but rather something wrong with me or my connection to them.” The zord looked down at him still with questioning eyes. Joe struggled to sit up while some leftover shocks still coursed through his body. “Well at least you’re okay big guy.” Joe struggled to get up and continue with his training. He was still trying to keep this a secret, but he didn't know how much longer he'd be able to. That is ... if someone didn't know already.

Caoimhin finished his meditation and had fully contemplated about the dire situation the ranger team was in. The only ranger left available in the team was Joe and was has not yet have the available power to fight off all of the enemies that are surrounding this damned world. The was only one choice he could make and it was to keep the promise he made to Zordon many millennia ago. Caoimhin got up and headed to Zedren's office.

Caoimhin stepped inside Zedren's office and stood in front of his desk. "I have decided to stay full time in this base and hopefully i will be able to make some difference in the future battles that lie ahead."

"Guys, hello?" asked Sean, still in his cell, feeling normal, but also strange, as if his powers were taken away from him, or perhaps sealed away. It was really strange. "Come on, guys! I'm fine, now! Something had just came over me for some reason. Don't any of you guys believe me? Guys!?" He was getting annoyed. "Zedren, Caoimhin, anyone!? I just want you guys to take me out of this stupid cell, please!" He was starting to tear, tears running down his cheeks and begging to be let out. "Please...just let me out." he said very quietly, void of ideas.

Zedren stood up and thanked Caoimhin for deciding to stay. He then turned to one of the video monitors on the wall, which watched Sean's cell. "I'll interrogate him shortly. But first off we should ... " he stopped short as he witnessed a very different scene on the center monitor. GriffEnd was walking confidently through the center of the financial district of town. He started to speak aloud. "I know your watching Rangers. Come out, come out. And if you don't..." He stopped short at the corner of 59th and 8th avenue. He then disappeared in the blink of an eye and reappeared at the corner of 60th and 8th avenue. There was a moment of strange silence, until it was finally broken by the sound of shattering glass. Every window of every building between 59th and 60th on 8th avenue shattered with a thunderous collapse. He then resumed his speech "... you know what'll happen".

Zedren slammed his hands down on the desk. "Darn it ... he's become even stronger."

Caoimhin looked confused. Zedren continued, "The 3 other Tetrarch - MeteorKnight, Atlas, and Legion, were all created fully formed, or in Atlas's case, converted while being fully formed. Unlike the others, GriffEnd was hatched from that egg, he actually has a developmental cycle and he was like a newborn before. But now he can control his powers with pin-point accuracy. A sonic boom, like the one he just made, should of shattered everything within about a 10 block radius - but instead it was only that tiny stretch of the avenue. That shows tremendous restraint and control. There's no telling what else he could be capable of." He turned to Caoimhin "Be careful. It's just you and Joe on this one."

Joe had by now gotten up and had heard the announcement, he teleported towards the financial district already morphed. He couldn't take any chances.

Hearing the alarm and announcement, Sean mumbled to himself, "GriffEnd..." he then attempted to pull the cage bars apart, but to no avail. "These bars are too strong, but I have to get out of here and help my friends!" Again, he tries to bend the bars, but nothing happens. Sean was panting from exhaustion. "Zedren, I need to talk to you! Come down here, please!" His heart was pounding from using too much of his strength which of course came to no avail. Why do I feel so weak? he thought to himself.

Nexev was resting in Loki's lair, the pain has passed but left him pretty weak. Nexev got up and checked on the Ravcam, noticing that GriffEND was starting a fight. Nexev went to Ralis's room and knocked "Hey dude, GriffEND is starting a fight with the power rangers. Wanna watch? By the way, what was up with you yesterday?" Nexev asked worriedly, while secrets are far from knew to him, he felt he was allowed to know why he had to endure 5 hours of Watching Twilight level pain in order to help Proto.

Caoimhin nodded and transformed in a burst of blue flames into the Hades Ranger. "Make sure that Sean can be fully trusted before you free him." Caoimhin then teleported near to GriffEnd's location.

"Speed is his attribute in battle. I need to think of a strategy for just me and young Joseph to stand some chance in this fight" Caoimhin thought to himself as he calmly walked over GriffEnd and sensed Joe wasn't to far away from their positions either. Caoimhin stood a few meters away from his opponent. "So you're GriffEnd. Did Vile send you to destroy us?"
