Blablafodfpå
I've only played a little Yugioh so I'm low novice and have only little experience about cards, what I'd like to request is advices and help to build a nice deck, how I should start, picking out a theme et.c.I'll begin with the deck as soon as I've received enough comment's about themes and good cards related to the certain theme. I have a bit knowledge about spells and traps but if I try to add monster's I'll probably whore it. Capishe ? EDIT:36 cardsI'll be using the deck so help is necessary. 173x Caius, The shadow monarch1x Banisher of the Radiance 3x D.D. Guest Ixigo
As you pointed out, the most important thing is to find a general theme... the first step is to check out the wiki, and find the specific page for your theme. For example if I wanted to make a Plant deck, I'd go to the Plant page and search for the decktypes that interest me... if you are going to make an IRL deck I'd look for decks that mostly have cards that you have or can easily obtain. The wiki's suggestions are a good place to start. Try to gather up a sample decklist. Your deck should have between 18 and 22 monsters, and 18 and 22 Spell and Trap cards, generally rounding up to as close to 40 as you can make it, and preferably not over 42. Next you should splash in the necessary staples (Heavy Storm, Mystical Space Typhoon, Brain Control, Torrential Tribute etc). Establish a victory condition. Don't limit it to just "I summon a lot of monsters and attack". Envision many possible scenarios. Which monsters are you most likely to summon? Which combinations of cards are able to guarantee victory most consistently? From there on it's a matter of processing which cards are necessary for your victory condition, which cards are situational, and which cards are unneeded. Scrap all unneeded ones, and try to keep situational ones to a bare minimum. Stick with the necessary cards, and try to build onto them, find cards that directly support them. Then, eh... post your Deck, and get ready for some flames. After a while, you'll be able to weed through the terrible advice that usually lurks around here and find some real help. Kaisu
Oh, learn the meta. And the Games are a good learning area. I made a LS deck on WC09 and now I run it all the time, it's pretty strong. Evolve from what you already know.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
ok.seeing as your new, the easiest way to start off the game without spending a load of money is to go to your local card shop or market and buy 3 of the Structure Deck called:Machina Mayhem it contains basic cards that when combined have amazing synergy together.after adding a few easy to get cards, you'll have a very competitive deck which will cost almost nothing. i can give you a sample decklist if you like. Brandon Michael Geren
For PC there is yugiohnetwork.com the shittiest website ever and YVD. Machinas are a fun and cheap deck. But if you don't have a budget you could try Inferns or Glads or Crystal Board or Quickdraw or some other meta deck.
Blablafodfpå
YVD ?Yugiohnetwork is a game ?
jabber2033
YVD is Yugioh Virtual Dueling: an online dueling interface. It gives you access to every card in the game. YugiohNetwork is similar, but YVD is better (in my opinion).
Brandon Michael Geren
Yugioh Virtual Dueling or Desktop or something. I forget what the website is. I'll google it for you. And yugiohnetwork is a game. Just sign up and play. But all of the players are fucktards. Santastinks1
Making a Quickdraw Turbo deck is relatively easy. You just need to buy 2-3 of the new starter deck and add a few cards in. I have a decklist I could give you.
Brandon Michael Geren
You're kidding right? You need to add more than a FEW cards.

Brandon Michael Geren
What? What did I do? Quickdraw decks are quite difficult and expensive to make. If you don't have a budget then, by all means, make one. But if you do, it's a terribad idea, even though Drill Warrior has gone down a bit. Santastinks1
They aren't difficult and/or expensive at all to make. I found most of the cards for my deck lying around.
Brandon Michael Geren
They aren't difficult and/or expensive at all to make. I found most of the cards for my deck lying around. That's your luck. Not all people are that lucky. But I think that fun decks are the best. Hopeless Dragons is a fun and semi-competitive deck. Spamming 2800+ATK Dragons is quite fun. I guess it just depends on TC's budget and whether he wants a competitive deck or not...
